Save the page in server side

Hi all,
I have some iViews in my page. That iViews are draggable like as in iGoogle. Now what i want is if i change the position of the iView , after refreshing the iView should be in the same position(what i have changed) . The page should be save in cookies or server side like igoogle.

How can i achieve this using script?

Hi,
When ever an Iview is dropped to a new position, you will have to reflect this position change in pcd.
An idea would be to use AJAX and call a portal service where logic is implemented to change Iview position in pcd. You can implement this in personalized context of user, so that the change is made only for current user.

If you can access Facebook while on Wifi at home, but you are unable to access it while away running on your carrier's 2G network, I could phone your carrier. You have already completed the Cellular Data troubleshooting for the iPhone, so any limitations keeping your from connecting to Facebook over cellular will have to be answered by your carrier.

8.3 causing issues with safari, "Safari could not open the page because server stopped responding"

Since my upgrade to 8.3 there are several issues with many apps when they are trying to download information.
When I go to Safari and open i.e. msn.com. it tries for over 60 seconds. then I get the error:
Safari could not open the page because server stopped responding.
I have a iPhone 6 plus with 113 gig and 65 gig available
This same issue is causing problems when downloading articles on facebook and instagram app.
We also noticed this same issue on Macbook Air, and iMac, iPad 2, and iPhone 5s.
I also have the Mac Pro without these issues but it is connected by ethernet instead of wireless.
Is wifried back and now plaguing all devices?
I selected mac because, I was tried of all the PC issues with new updates. It seems mac is now lowering its quality to that of PC.
We need a fix for this ASAP!

I have tried resetting my Iphone 6 Plus by holding both the off and select buttom. This did not help.

Changes not reflected on the page after migrating the page to server

I have migrated a page to server after making some adding a messageTextInput field but the changes are not getting reflected.
I followed the following steps to migrate the page:
1. Copied the page.xml from local machine to server.
2. Ran the below import command :
adjava oracle.jrad.tools.xml.importer.XMLImporter $JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/aear/Refunds/webui/RefundCreatePG.xml -rootdir $JAVA_TOP -username apps -password apps -dbconnection "(DESCRIPTION= (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=aebsw1d.aetna.com)(PORT=1571)) (CONNECT_DATA= (SID=AEBSDEV2)))" -rootPackage $JAVA_TOP
It said
Import completed.
3. Bounced the apache server.
4. Ran the below script to see the page definition:

It has my messageTextinput field info. But I can't see it on front end. Even though when I run the page from my jdev I am able to see that field.
Plz guide me if I am missing anything.

Hi,
Go to 'about this page' from front end and check the path for this PG.xml and compare that path with the one that you are importing.
As per my understanding, if this is a custom page, then the path you are using is not correct.
Let me know if you need more clarification.

When I open a saved document in pages, then close it right away without making any changes, why does it ask if I would like to save the page or all new info will be lost?

I have a few saved documents and when I open them to view them quick, sometimes when I close it, I will get asked if I would like to save the document or all my new info will be lost. I didnt change anything so Im not sure why it asks me that. When I open the document again, all the info is there and nothing is different. Thanks

Unless they were Word documents, Pages has done nothing really, but it is updating date information in the file.
It is annoying but just ignore it and don't save.

We are getting below error while running the oaf page from our instance. we have executed the query behind the page and it took around 40 seconds to execute. but oaf page is getting errored out with below error message after taking long time.
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

Is it 9i Jdeveloper or 10G. Also check the Jdeveloper is being run on a compatible database. A Jdeveloper for 11i should run on an instance having 11i installed and same for R12. Also check the version of OA Frameworrk in the Jdeveloper you are using and the version deployed in instance.

How to get the client identity from the certificate at server side

I am working on a project which requires, receiving a signed file from the client side and verify whether the file is signed by a valid certificate that is there in the servers keystore.
How can i get the client certificate at server side and check with the certificates already present in the servers keystore.
i have no idea how to do this

Where is the database of "server side" sync items?

Server 10.5.6 clients 10.5.5
Problem: Server side file tracking for Mobile Home sync is on. Files are not syncing reliably. Desktop items don't make it back to the network home and other similar issues. The clients get several errors stating that there was a problem syncing one file or another and to contact the admin if it continues.
Turn off Server side tracking. Files sync runs as one would expect, all files sync correctly with no errors.
We use two off site subnets connected via site to site VPN. Sync now takes 10 minutes at those locations.
Turn Server side tracking back on, assuming it might recreate the database automatically. Problems come back.
Needed: How to delete the current presumably corrupt database on the server so that we can run server side tracking again?

As well, you might wish to hold off on updating your clients to 10.5.6 if you can, some have reported PHD syncing reliability issues.

My Google Bookmarks says that my browser is offline and won't let me save the page but the Firefox booksmarks will let me save it.

My Firefox bookmarks will let me save the web page but Google bookmarks won't and tells me that my browser is offline and to check my browser and network settings. I also can't download you-tube videos like I used to. When I hover on the picture, the "download" box does not show up but it does give me the option to stop download. I just changed to Shaw internet.

Did anything happen to the computer? It appears that you are trying to sync to another iTunes library since in that case you can only sync with one iTunes library.

Problem decrypting the encryptedKey at server side

Just a bit of background about my environment and problem: I am using JBoss 4.2.3 and JBoss metro for my web services. I am trying to test my web service with security using SOAtest6.2. I also have a servlet based client for my web service. I have enfored WS-Security policy using WSIT. Now when i use servlet based client everything works perfectly ok, however when i use SOAtest6.2 using the same keystore and truststore (which i have used for servlet based client) it doesn't seem to be working. I am getting the following error at server side:
ERROR [com.sun.xml.wss.logging.impl.opt.crypto] WSS1913: Key used to decrypt EncryptedKey cannot be null
ERROR [com.sun.xml.wss.logging.impl.opt.crypto] WSS1927: Error occured while decrypting EncryptedKey
I don't know where things are going wrong here.
Not sure what other information i should provide at the moment, however i will provide any information as and when required.

I cannot use evernote on FireFox 4 due to when I try to save the page

I cannot use evernote on FireFox 4 due to when I try to save a page the Evernote login tab shows asking for my name and password. Unfortunately it will not take higher case letters which then will not let me log in using firefox. I can use Evernote on its own using my mac application.
