Saved data cannot be viewed in FDF file

Hi,
I am new here, first time.
I have strange problem, not sure its a design change or what. lets take this senario, we have online forms to be filled by user A. email Data function is used to email the form to User B. when user B opens the form from Outlook 2007/2010 it is blank (like a fresh form). when User B saves locally & open the locally saved form it imports the data.
Is this normal behavior or we can control this. User B needs to open form from outlook directly.
tested in Adobe reader(s) / Acrobat 8/9/X

Cannot quick view 60fps video file

After upgrading to Yosemite, I realize when I use quick view (space bar) to watch some of my video files in 60fps, it's showing it 30fps instead. When I play the files using quicktime or quick view with full screen, then the video will play in 60fps. I am not very comfortable with this new setting, because I do video editing and I need to look at many video files by using quick view function, and with only showing 30fps just very annoying for me. Any solution?

what type of compression are you using?
it sounds to me like you're simply losing data based on compression and/or scaling

Cannot open .fdf file

Hi,
I am running Safari 4.0.1, OS X 10.5.7 and Adobe Reader 9.1 on a Mac Intel.
I cannot open a downloaded .fdf file. Here is how I proceed:
- Launch Adobe Reader
- Open the .fdf file with Adobe Reader
- Agree when prompted whether I trust the website Adobe tries to access
- and ... nothing happens.

Viewing .fdf file with Unix/Linux browser plugin

I am using Solaris, but this seems to effect the Linux version as well.
I click on a link that contains an .fdf document. The browser (Mozilla or Firefox) does not know what to do with it. I have set up a mime-type application helper to launch the viewer externally. That works. Solaris version 5 Adobe Reader can view the .fdf file. But what about the plugin? How can I view the .fdf as I do .pdf files using the Adobe browser plugin and do it smoothly like I can with .pdf files?

Firstly you would need to remove any special mime-type handlers that you would have setup in your browser. Secondly, in the browser type "about:plugins" in the adress bar. This would open a list of all installed plugins. Make sure mozplugger or any other plugin which can handle PDF/FDF mime type is not present. If there is any, you would have to manually find the corresponding file and remove it. Next, you would need to remove all occurences of the file 'nppdf.so' from $HOME/.mozilla and anywhere under /usr (except from the one existing in the Adobe Reader installation folder). Once this is done, reinstall the plugin by running the script at <reader_install_folder>/Browser/install_browser_plugin. After the installation is complete, try using the FDF links again. If it still fails, open the /etc/mime.types file and look for the line application/vnd.fdf. Append to this line the word 'fdf' after a tab at the end. So basically the line would look like - "application/vnd.fdf fdf" This should fix your problem. Incase you face in issues in between or have anything unclear, just go through the file <reader_install_folder>/Browser/HowTo/ENU/Browser_Plugin_HowTo.txt.

Select one and hit the Space bar to view it in QuickLook. Use the forward arrow keys to move from file to file. If the file can't be viewed in the QuickLook mode then the file is damaged and probably can't be copied or moved.
You could try a photo file recovery application like MediaRECOVER which can scan the memory card and tell you what files, if any, can be recovered before you have to purchase it.

I already create the pdf form that contain digital signature field using ACROBAT XPRO...and now i would like to send data from pdf form to fdf file.I already manage to send data from other field except the digital signature.How to send the signature digital value to FDF file so that i can display it back to PDF file next time?Can anyone help me...i really need help right now...

File cannot be found when trying to open emailed fdf file

Hello all. I'm starting to lose my mind here so I thought I'd ask the community for any help. I'm using Acrobat Pro X. I have a PDF that a new hire is supposed to fill out. All the fields work and save just fine. There's 2 buttons at the end of the document set to email certain fields to a specific email address. When either button is clicked, an .fdf file is attached to a new outlook message. The problem is when the recipient tries to open the attachment, Adobe Acrobat X Pro (and Reader XI) comes up with the following message:
"The file you are attempting to open contains comments or form data that are supposed to be placed . This document cannot be found. It may have been moved, or deleted. Would you like to browse to attempt to locate this document?"
The original file is located on a mapped network drive (the same drive letter on both computers). The same message comes up even on the computer the email was sent from. I saved the document with "Enable Additional Features" enabled. I'm getting close to wits end. I need to be able to send the email outside the network but don't want to include the entire PDF as it has confidential information. Any suggestions?

So the recipients will need an original copy of the PDF in order to import the fdf? I know they'll get confused with that. Is there a way to just email the fields in a text file?

I would like to have sugestions and help to solve a problem in IS 4.2.
I've created a view from two tables, joined together with the key from each one.
Then i've binded the rule with the view (mentioned above) created and calculated score for it.
The calculation is successful, however when i try to export all failed data i have the following error:
"Encountered an error while exporting the data. View the lof file (DPR-10126)"
When exporting failed data from calculations made directly to the datasources i do not encounter any problem, but when i try to export all data to CSV file (not only the 500 results limit) i have this kind of error.
However, when i visualize the data from the view created, it is also possible to export to csv file.
Resuming, the error occurs only when exporting all failed data from the view.
Can anyone help with this issue?

Your information is correct.
I've just confirmed it in the 4.2 SP3 Release Notes and they specifically refer to this issue.
A user who has 'View objects' rights for the project and a failed rule connection cannot export the failed data. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Problem saving fdf file with a file extenstion

When I download a file with a 'FDF' extension, the file contains the name of the PDF template to be used. Preview or ADOBE is supposed to get the PDF and populate it with the data in the FDF file. This works fine with Firefox and IE under Windows, but in Firefox on the MAC the FDF file is saved without an extension. If I rename if to whatever.fdf, it works like it's supposed to.
Does anyone know why the OS is not saving the FDF file with an extension?

No, the value of the /F key in the FDF dictionary (which is what FDFSetFile sets) must be a file specification. See the PDF Reference for more information about file specifications.

Hello,
There are several ways to write waveform data from LabVIEW so it can be accessed from DIAdem. Two of the easiest ways are to use either .lvm files or .tdm files. You can write .lvm files using the Write LabVIEW Measurement File.vi which is located in the File I/O palette. You can write .tdm files by using the storage VIs which are located in the File I/O >> Storage palette. So, I would recommend using either of these file formats if you are developing a new application since these can be loaded into DIAdem directly.
If you are interested in loading files that where already created from the Write Waveforms to File.vi, I am wondering what file type you are using. For example are you saving your files as .dat or .txt with your Write Waveforms to File.vi? Feel free to reply to this thread with this information and I would be glad to help you out.

Step 1, I created Answer-request, create .rtf file with Word and add the request name, Add bar chart and table, preview PDF is working fine with data, Upload this template to Answers, View Template from Answer is working fine with data.
Step 2, Answers – More Products > BI Publisher > My Folders > Create a new report > Edit > Data Model > New > Type: SQL Query > Data Source: Oracle BI EE > Query Builder > from SupplierSales assign Customer, Periods, Sales Facts (select Region, state, Year, Units Shipped) > Results > Save > Save
Click Layouts > New > enter Name ….. > Click Layouts > borrows .rtf file in Manage T file > Upload > Save > Click View
It is showing only the .rtf file without data. Why there is no data?
Please guide me to solve this issue.

Our scenario is this report is basically a dissconnected mode report... we are developing these reports for mobile clients.
We dint face this kind of issue while developing other reports.

I've just been messing about with a similar problem. Basically, I have a view that involves a join across two tables, I have a data block in my form that's based on the view, and I've written an INSTEAD OF trigger to insert/update/delete from the two tables.
I was getting the error message 'Cannot insert or update data in a view', and it turned out that the error was happening because the join column between the two tables was the primary key on one of the tables, but the corresponding column on the join table had no unique key on it. This meant that Oracle couldn't establish a one-to-one relationship between rows in the view and rows in the underlying tables. The column on the join table was in fact unique on that table, and adding a unique constraint on that column in the database cured the problem.

I deleted iTunes when it said "iTunes could not back up iPhone because the backup could not be saved on the computer"and now it wont let me install it again and keeps saying "itunes cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in the cabinet "

iTunes told me to delete my backup folder when I was having problems syncing my phone to my computer. After that it wouldn't work at all. After trying and trying I deleted iTunes when it said "iTunes could not back up iPhone because the backup could not be saved on the computer"and now it wont let me install it again and keeps saying "itunes cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in the cabinet ". What the **** itunes? Nothing is working!!
I wanted to update my iTunes so I could sync my phone to my computer and update my phones software so I can use the latest apps that need a 4.2 or higher.
This is not fun for me so if anyone knows what I can do to fix this please help. Is it possible to download the "cabinent file" with the lastest iTunes?

I doubt that corrupt files are the problem. It is more likely a space or permissions issue. Is the hard-drive on which iTunes is stored close to capacity? Do you (or the particular user profile you have logged on with) have the requisite permissions to save to that drive?
Otherwise, do you get an error code? This might point us in the right direction.

Need Help on Recovering Saved Data in a PDF File

Hi,
It took me several days to fill up an important immigration document in pdf format. During the time, I was able to save it and open it again with the data in the form fields.
The motherboard of the laptop was fried the other day. All the files on the harddrive are safe. I got a usb hd enclore and copy the files off the harddrive.
However, when I open the pdf file, the data fields are now all empty. What to do to recover the saved data fields? Is that possible?
