SBS Exchange not available for recovery with Server Backup
Hi
I have a Small Business Server 2008 that we have taken over, and have found that the Exchange has not been backed up over the last 2 years, showing now a total of around 62000 log files,
When running windows backup it gets to the screen showing
"Running consistency check for application Exchange"
This then fails, and the backup continues, but then tells me after that "Completed with Warnings"
and under the errors in windows server backup it says "Application will not be available for recovery from this backup, Consistency check failed for components Microsoft Exchange Server"
The following is what I have done to try resolve this issue,
Stopped SQL services then tried running the backup
Stopped Information store and tried running backup
Used Eseutil /D
Enabled Circular logging on the Exchange and tried the backup again,
Please remember this database has not been backed up in 3 years, and there are log files from 2011, so loosing all the data is not an option,

Loosing the data is unlikely, and most of those logs will have been committed already.
If you dismount the store, and run eseutil /mh "dbpath.edb" you can see which log files are required for the store to mount.

We have a Windows 2012 server with Exchange 2013, all is working fine except now i am getting issues with the backup.
'Exchange - The application will not be available for recovery from this backup. the consistency check failed for the component Microsoft Exchange Server'
I have checked the database all is fine, i have created a new db and move all mailbox;s over and then removed the old db, i have enabled circular logging and then disabled it, it seems no matter what i do i cannot get a full backup!
i did have to restore the server once and the backups still worked for about 4 days after that and then stopped, i have also tried to remove and re add the backup role!
i am stumped, any advice would be great!Hi
Ok, i created a test db and tried to back it up right away, it failed, i did not add any mailbox's to it either. i got quite a few events in the windows logs, as well as the same event above i got the following:

IBooks really not available for devices with iOS6 and lower?
Hi,
this official article http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4059 states that iBooks should be available for "iPhone and iPod touch with iOS 4 or later."
I've presented my old 3GS to my cousin, she likes reading. After resetting the device and registering with her Apple-ID she is not able to install iBooks. In the app store it surprisingly states that at minimum iOS7 is requried. Really?
Question: how do we get iBooks on a 3GS with iOS6 when it wasn't loaded there before with a given Apple-ID?

I just downloaded Firefox 5.0.1, and one of the themes I want to download and try out says that it works with Firefox 4.0b9pre - 7.0a1. At the top, though, it says that the theme is not available for my platform. It has happened with some other themes as well, but I didn't check what versions they work with. I want to change my apple id but get the message "This email address is not available for use as an Apple ID. You may already have an Apple ID associated with this address. Please try again or sign in using your existing Apple ID.". I try to log a call with apple support and I get a message like "cannot schedule a call". That leaves me out of options. Any ideas?

I'm sorry to hear you are having these issues changing your Apple ID. It is correct that if an email address has been used previously for an Apple ID, it can not be used for a different Apple ID, as noted in this article:
In most cases, your Apple ID is also the primary email address of your Apple ID account. You can change your Apple ID to any other email address you control, as long as it's not already in use as an Apple ID. If your email address ends with @icloud.com, @me.com, or @mac.com, it's already an Apple ID.

If you are certain that the email in question has never been used for an Apple ID and you are having issues contacting Apple Support regarding this issue, you may want to make sure you are going through the Apple ID support channel on the following page:

Autofill in Google Toolbar does not appear to be working with Firefox 4 - It aways gives the message "Autofill not available for this page". This is happening on pages I have used Autofill on before upgrading to FF4 from Firefox 3.5.x
i did not see a solution posted - I tired what I read. Going back to an old version may solve the problem but it is a stupid solution so I have yet to do that.
I am on version 4 and autofil this does not work :

Uninstall version 5, then Google "google toolbar version 4", follow the link to FileHippo.com, and download and install the last version 4. When you reinstall it, make sure you turn off the option to perform automatic updates.

Update Unavailable with This Apple ID This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled... How can i fix it

If the data network is not available for some time, to get it again we need to restart the phone instead it is not finding the data network instantly. why cant the iphone searches data net work offten if not available. i am totally disappointed with this!
Still it could not find the data network.it searches for voice network instantly and works too. but even full voice network available, there is no data network.when i restart the phone it could find data network.

Finder is not available for standard user
Hi,
I recently installed OS X (10.8.2) from app store. We created "Data" folder and created few admin and non admin users. Granted access to both users to same folder. When admin logged off and standard user logged in, he could not find Finder. Repeated this with 8 standard users and Finder is not available for all 8 standard users. For 2 admin users Finder is available.
We did not change any settings whatsoever, so not sure this behavier is by design or I am missing something.

Database Error: RSR0009: Resource not available for pool. Wait-time expired
i am occassionally receiving the following error during database connections in my servlet:
Database Error: RSR0009: Resource not available for pool [webAdvisorTestPool]. Wait-time expired
i understand that this is a result of a connection leak from improper closure of my Connection object, but i thought that i was properly closing my connection.
i can get the error if i do the following steps:
1) access my login page and enter login credentials.
2) submit the login which then hits the Authentication servlet.
3) Authentication servlet authenticates and takes me to home page.
4) hit the back button to get back to the login page.
5) repeat this process until i hit the Max Pool Size (from web server).
6) then i get the error message
here are some details:
i have an Authentication servlet; here is the pertinent code from that servlet:

as you can see, i've added some print statements in my connection closure block. based on my output log, each connection is being properly closed and i am not encountering any errors during that closing block.

OCM exam environment software not available for download

As per the oracle 11g master certification mentioned in the certification portal, the exam will be conducted in the following environment
3. 10.2.0.5 grid control with 11.1.0.6 as repository database.
However 10.2.0.5/11.1.0.x grid control verison is not available for download. Kindly guide me how i can prepare my test environment for exam preparation.I have finally received some additional information on this topic. Here is a message from our exam developers:

New DSO data fields are not available for transformations in the upwardflow
Hello,
There are data flow from
many source DSOs -> Target DSO -> Final DSO.
Different transformations are defined and activated with DTPs. This works fine and provides the desired results.
now new fields are added to the target DSO, final DSO and one of the source DSO.
When I now try to edit the transformations, the new fields are not part of the sources at the different stage.
The fields are available in the Data Source created out of a DSO but not directly when using a DSO as a data source.
Have anyone faced such a problem?
any solutions to this?
- I cannot delete all the other transformations as this is too much work to do and there is no time for it.

I have SharePoint Server 2013 and the enable usage data collection is enabled. There is usage logs and data being generated, but SharePoint says there is not data available.
A web analytics report is not available for this site. Usage processing may be disabled on this server or the usage data forthis site has
not been processed yet.
What can I do?
