SC 3.2 nodes reboot when i reboot the first one

i had create a cluster with two nodes and quorom (shared file system) beetwen the two nodes. but when i try to reboot one node the second one reboot. i had solaris 10 and sun cluster 3.2. the error in the console is

A couple more questions:
- does clq status show that the quorum vote is counted correctly?
- what kind of storage are you using
- are these newly created LUNs that you are using or is it possible that these have been used before by other hosts or clusters?
- any interesting error messages in the log files - /var/adm/messages
- what is the panic string of the other node that reboots?
I do not think that the did related message is relevant in this context.

Sometimes when I play songs in Itunes by double clicking on them, Itunes will place the song as the first one on the album. It will chnage the order of the songs on the album, and I can not switch them back to the correct order.

If I just hit play, this doesnt happen. As a result, I have several albums now in which the songs are in the wrong order. Its very frustrating, as this error then transfers over to my ipod every time I sync it. When I choose the info. for the songs, it has them correctly listed (i.e., it lists the songs as being #1 of 19 on the CD, for example). But then the song will have placed by Itunes as #5 of 19 for whatever reason. Itunes does not do this every time, but does it with enough frequency to be maddening. Any thoughts?

The problem of tracks becoming de-linked between iTunes and the music files in your iTunes music folder happens for different reasons - this seems to come up fairly commonly in this forum.
The solution can be to locate each song in the iTunes library, as you mentioned - or, but wait, before I get to that...
trouble finding the original track in your iTunes music folder? maybe look for it under compilations, or if not using the 'group compilations preference' then look in the folder under the songs artist name, but what song artist name iTunes uses depends on what you have in the metedata tag spot for album artist or song artist. Any varyation in artist name spelling, in the menu item 'get info' metadata for any selected individual track will cause iTunes to create that as a separate artist folder in the library, even names like 'various' or any difference at all (even the word 'the' can change where in your iTunes music folder a track gets placed by iTunes). You can try to use the finder function of find file (finder munu item outside of iTunes) to locate hard to find items.
Back to how to re-link any de-linked tracks .
There may be scripts that can help re-link de-linked music files - or, at least provide you a list of such files, Scripts are easy to install and use...

so if you receive a message on your iphone you also get it on your ipad or ipod touch
to avoid it use separate appleID for each device
or turn off imessage on 1 or both devices in their settings
but that will not fix the issue that 2 devices using the same appleID will never be able to facetime eachother
the appleID is a unique handle for 1 user only

Anything you downloaded with the first Apple Id will forever be tied to it, and will always require it to update.
The question here is, why did you think you needed to create a new Apple ID? What was the problem with the first one?
To get rid of th old one, you'll need to delete everything you downloaded with it, and then sign out of the ID in several places around the iPad.
Go to Settings->iTunes & App Stores->Apple ID->Sign out.
Repeat the process, for Facetime, Messages, Mail and any other App you need to sign out of.

I just upgraded to Mountain Lion. Now I can't open more than one website at a time. When I do the first site, minimized and in the dock, is taken up by the second one.

I just upgraded my computer from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion. I used to be able to have as many websites open as I wished. Now when I open a website and minimize it, it minimizes and moves to the dock just like it used to do. But now when I open a second website, it takes the place of the first one down in the dock that was minimized. I can't open more than 1 website at time now.

There is something basic going on that unfortunately has me stumped.
Before you spend the $20 please try creating a new user, for testing purposes:

That is easy enough to accomplish. If Safari and the Dock behave as you expect while using that account, it will help determine the cause. Please report the results of this test.
Delete the temporary account after you finish testing.
Many of those features I mentioned are new in Mountain Lion, and represent a significant change from Snow Leopard. Though you should certainly continue to use your Mac the way you have been accustomed to using it, you may find using Mountain Lion's new features advantageous. I use my 7th gen ipod on bluetooth and when the battery dies while on bluetooth it wont turn on or charge and the computer doesnt find it. This is my 2nd nano in just over a month. The first one had the same problem. how can i fix this?

I have the latest ipod nano (7th gen, 16gb) and I use it mostly on bluetooth. When the battery dies during use with the Bluetooth it doesn't take a charge, the battery doesn't turn on and of course the computer doesn't even acknowledge that it's plugged in. This is my second nano in just over a month, the same thing happen with the first one. I just want to know if their is a way to fix this so I don't have to keep sending it in? Or maybe pay the difference to upgrade to a touch?

If the battery has been completely depleted on the Nano (not really a good idea) then it is going to take 15 to 30 minutes before your computer can see it. Same thing will happen with an iPod Touch.

When I type the first word's letters are always mixed up

using an Apple extended USB keyboard that came with my mac pro (2x 3ghz Dual Core Xeon processor, 18gb 667MHz RAM)
It's like the Mac cant react fast enough to catch the first one or two letters and it just inserts them into the middle of the first word.
like "Hello" would be "ellHo" and "OK" is "KO"
the rest of the sentence is fine. or the rest of the paragraph, it seems to inly happen when I first select a text field or when I have been idle for mor ethan 30 seconds. this happens in all apps. Mail, Firefox, Textedit etc.
i have not yet unplugged the rest of my USB peripherals but that is my next step.
Ihave a ADF scanner, multifuncion printer, logitech wireless mouse, usb plantronics headset, iMo 7" USB monitor. running os 10.7.2
just upgraded and everything was fine in 10.6.x.
anyone else experience this?

I have similar problems with an Apple Wireless Keyboard (Bluetooth) and a MacBook Pro since installing Lion I am running 10.7.2 also. See https://discussions.apple.com/message/16701228#16701228 for more detail. I think it's a bug in Lion.

This is normal auto-completion. You can stop it for this person by going to to menu Window>Previous recipients and locating their name in the list and removing it.

Trying to add photos, when adding second album, first one lost

when trying to add a second photo album, the first one seems to be deleted. I do use a new album title. What am I doing wrong? HELP

That is how it works. You need to select and sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go, as not including them in a subsequent sync is how you delete them from the iPad (as you've found out). So if you want to sync multiple folders so as to have multiple albums on the iPad, they will need to be directly off the same parent folder so that you can then select them.

When progarm starts the first page is frozen for about 5 secs, why?

When starting Tbird, the first page is frozen for about 5 seconds, no response is received by clicking on the various choices and even the app close and minimize buttons are not active. Any ideas on how to stop this from occurring?

Looked at McAfee and there was no way to access any settings but the scan time setup settings. McAfee Plus.

Playing a second swf when the first one's finished

I have 2 swf files (the FLA's too) and want one to play then
the second. - I'd add the second to the timeline of the first, but
the second is a complete site and contains many referenced
"gotoandplay" links which would all need changing. So....I really
just need a way for the second swf to play after the first one's
finished. I tried using the load external movie clip behaviour, but
couldn't make it work. Can I use the first swf as a preloader
without affecting the timeline on the main swf? I canspare a couple
of frames at the start of the second movie for that, but don't know
how to set it up - can anyone help?
I also want the custom cursor to remain only in the first
swf, and go back to default on the second.

I think you may want to create a 'master' loading swf, rather
than loading the second movie into the first, and use the
MovieClipLoader class to call and load new movies into the master
container.
Set up a new swf, that is the same size as the others. you'll
set up a function on the first frame and then use that function to
load all subsequent content into the master document. You can also
use methods of the class to add things like preloaders and other
event handlers. so for instance, at the last frame of the intro
swf, you'd add a 'call' to the function in the master telling it to
load the next movie in the sequence. I'll add the call you will
need on the bottom of the code example below.

I'm not one to solicit, however I have (awhile ago) developed
a Component that you may be interested in for your site, although
it has not been package and ready for distribution, it does
function - called 'glitterMouse', and produces a twinkling mouse
trail effect when you move the cursor, mush like the onRollOver
animation that you'd painstakingly made (ouch) except that it use
random twinkle generation at run-time, and has many property
settings, like color, quantity, gravity, and so on. It might be a
nice addition to your 'wand' cursor, and would not 'replace it' as
it's not a 'cursor' but an effect generator.
If you are interested, an example of it in action (although
you can't purcahse it from there ... yet) can be seen on my site

one listed.

OK the code for you, add this to the first frame of the
'master' swf, then add the code at the bottom to the end of the
intro swf in the last frame.
EDIT: this is AS2 code, to use AS3 code do something more
like the methods as described above, yet I would still consider
placing all content within a 'master' loading doc, and replaceing
or removeing previously loaded children.
