SC status "Awaiting Approval" - WS10000060 error

Dear colleagues,
We are on SRM 5.0.
We have the following problem:
When creating a Shopping Cart, the status of the SC remains as "Awaiting Approval".
We have only activated Workflow WS10000060 Workflow without approval, and all checks regarding Workflow customizing seem ok.
I have checked transactions indicated in Note 322526 and have not been able to find the origin of the error:
SWU3 seems OK, in SWU0 WS10000060 Workflow Without Approval Shopping Cart appears as succesfully started.
In transaction SWEL i can see no events however, even though the event log is activated.
In SWI1 however I can see the ERROR status of the workflow:

The message says "No agent available", but I believe for workflow WS10000060 no agent is needed, right?

Hi,
The workflow WS10000060 is linked to a reviewer workflow WS10000265.
It may be the case that no active versions of this workflow exist in
your system.
In transaction SWDD select other WF-Definition = WS10000265.
This should activate version 0000
- Create new version - (activate version 0001)
- menu Workflow >Activation >Generate and activate runtime version
- Transaction SWUS
Workflow: WS10000265
Click on Button Refresh Organizational Environment
Synchronize the runtime buffers with transaction SWU_OBUF.
Kindly then retest the workflow WS10000265 to see if it is now ok.
You can do this by the following steps :
1. Transaction SWUD
2. enter workflow WS10000265, press enter
3. execute 'Test environment'
4. check 'Including subworkflows'
5. execute 'Consistency check for components'
If there are no errors then please do the same for workflow WS10000060.
If there are no errors for this workflow either then the problem
should be resolved.

How do I correct the above errors for the workflow?
Also because of the above WF errors,I am unable to close some of the PO's .When I try to close the PO's(by checking the indicators "No further confirmations expected " and "No further invoices expected " under Item data-->statistics),the indicators remain checked but the PO status always remains "AWAITING APPROVAL".When I click on the approval preview(graphical view),I see message "Error .click for details" and under table view ,I see "NO APPROVAL REQUIRED".
In order to close the above PO's,is there any workaround or other way I can change the status of the PO temporarily to atleast be able to close the PO's?

Thanks Muthu!The note does seem relevant but I am still confused due to a new observation
Another observation :
The WF for PO approval is actually not activated in our system which means that this issue is not related to workflow .Additionally ,now I see some errors in the backend application monitor stating that "PO backend Transfer failed".
So as Masa mentioned earlier,this issue could be more related to PO replication.I tried all ways to update the status for the PO and observed the foll:
1. After running SW01,for the changed/latest GUID of the PO,the PO header status did change to "ORDERED" but then under Item data-->statistics the indicator for confirmation was reset.When I tried to chekc the indicator to again close the PO,the PO header status again changed to "Awaiting Approval".
2. Using FM SWW_DLEETE_ITEM,deleted the work item(old) for the PO and tried to chnage the status as mentioned above.But the issue still remained.
3.Tried to make the status "AWAITING APPROVAL" inactive by using FM "CRM_STATUS_UPDATE" but no success.In BBP_PD,the document status was updated(Awaiting approval inactive checked) but in the web portal,Under "Process Purcahse order" transaction,the PO header status still showed as "AWAITING APPROVAL"..
Please advise.

Confirmation in status awaiting approval

Hi
I have activated WF10400010 but our confirmations ends up in "awaiting approval".
I have done a consistency check and the wf and sub-wf are fine.
But when I check in SWI1 I can see that tast WS10400011 is in status ERROR.
When doing a test run of the WF I can see that the error is occurring when it tries to change the status of the confirmation to released.
Any ideas?

When running WS10400010 I receive error in 3 out of 4 entries in SWI1. One of the entries is a cancellation. This is the error log from SWI1.
TS10407935 Status for goods receipt to Released - ERROR (text: "Error when changing status to RELB, no information found")
WS10400003 Update confirmation when approved/declined - ERROR (no more info)
WS10000203 Awaiting confirmation event - CANCELLED (no more info)
WS10400010 Confirmation w/o approval - ERROR (no more info)
I guess the TS makes the whole WF go into Error and therefor the confirmation is in status awaiting approval.

PO with status "Deleted" in SRM and status "Awaiting Approval" in BW

Report Purchase Order status ( 0BBP_PO_Q007) on ODS 0BBP_PO shows status "Awaiting Approval" for Purchase Orders that have status "Deleted" in the SRM source system.
Any idea about an appropriate OSS note or other work around solution?

1) The PO data can be extracted from SRM or R/3 . But the advantage of extracting data from R/3 is that you have lot many other data while compared to SRM system . In case u are having SRM and Sap R/3 or ECC as your backend system , it is always better to extract PO data from R/3 or ECC. In case your backend system is going to be other than SAP system , probably we can think of extracting data from SRM.
2) GR and invoice data always have to be pulled from R/3 system
3) Shopping cat details exist only in SRM and the details has to be extracted only from SRM .
Suggest to extract 1) shopping cart from SRM 2) PO,GR and Invoice from SAP R/3 or ECC.

PO stuck with status Awaiting Approval

We have the following issue: for example a PO with 3 version (change 1, change 2 and active 3). when you display the PO in the portal you see the change 2 in status ... "Awaiting approval" but when you check the Approval table, it shows ... Approval process already finished, when you see in bbp_pd .. you see that the workflow items for change 1 and active 3, have status COMPLETED, but the change 2 have status ERROR.
If someone knows how to fix this ... the help would be appreciated.

do you mean to say change 2 is marked as closed , the woritem id for chnage 2 is shown as completed but status is still shown as "awaiting approval" and higher version 4 is not created ?
if that is the case , please check the set release method is complete for workitem id (change 2) , check in sm58 there is nothing in error related to workflow.
try executing the FM BBP_PD_PO_STATUS_CHANGE_WF. trying creating another event "SAVED" through SWUE.

SC Status Awaiting Approval

Hi Experts,
Our process is Classic Scenario,
After saving SC ("Order" Button) the status remains Awaiting Approval , and changed to Approved after few hours, (and then followon documents are created on Backend Sys. )
Please Advise how to solve this problem? Why it takes so long to the status to be changed?
Also I have found a message on desktop Workflow Entries in Inbox:

Change Shopping Cart in status "Awaiting Approval"?

Hi there,
Quick question: Should a user be able to change thier shopping cart if it is still in "Awaiting Approval"? It would seem like a logical thing for the user to be able to change the quantity, date etc of the item before it is approved?
I have been looking at template SAPLBBP_SC_UI_ITS 120 and it seems SAP standard prevents this?
How would I allow users to be able to change shopping carts in awaiting approval state?

Hi All,
We have SC issue where SC is created and in approval tab, approvers are determined correctly. But approvers has not received work item.
work item numbers are not created.
when checked we foud that the event linkage is for main workflow template is deactivated.
/SAPSRM/CL_WF_PDO READY_FOR_WORKFLOW WS40000014
we activated the check box new SC's are working fine.Earlier shopping carts still showing awaiting status.We cant edit this SC.
Bussiness users want to process this SC.

The issue is Earlier SC are still approvers has not received work item after activating /SAPSRM/CL_WF_PDO READY_FOR_WORKFLOW WS40000014 ?
If that is the Problem to trigger the SC´s to Approvers , you can ask basis team to execute this button in sost for particular SC

I am sorry for delayed response..
Requiremnet:
Need to add approvers manually to the shopping cart which is on awaiting approval status.
The code flow follows as below:
1. as the workflow already started for this shopping cart so we have interrupted the shopping cart with belwo method
          CALL METHOD /sapsrm/cl_wf_adv_facade=>interrupt_process
            EXPORTING
              iv_document_guid = lv_new_guid ( shopping cart guid)
2. instantiated the object for the class /sapsrn/cl_pdo_bo_sc_adv, to its constructor i have passed values work item id generated in above process.
3. added an approver manually to shopping cart using method of above said class /sapsrm/if_pdo_do_apv_ext~add_approver.
4. if i skip the execution of method /sapsrm/if_pdo_bo_sc~order, i am able see all the approvers added manually but the status is "In your Inbox"
5. if i execute the above said order method, all the approvers added manually are lost.
Question:
1. Please suggest me the sequence of methods called are correct?
2. As per my understanding complete workflow is restarting, so it is losing all the manual approvers if i am wrong suggest me, Is it not possible to have previously added manually added approvers even after ordering the cart?

When I check in backend, workflow is completed and shows that SC is released.
But in EBP web login, it shows the status 'Awaiting Approval'. In graphical approval preview it shows the status approved.

The workflow was read from the back end and shown in the Portal. The refresh time has to reduce (minimum time has to be given), Re-Register and Refresh the Cache.

SC with awaiting approval status and no work item for Approvers.

Hi Experts,
We are implementing Classic scenario with SRM7.0 and we are having Application controled Workflow.
We are fasing issue in workflow. On SC getting ordered the status is showing as awaiting approval and there is no work item found in BBP_PD.
When we approve this SC in SWO1 then there is no PO getting created.
If the SC value is less than spend limit we have enabled no Workflow and in that case the approval agent table is showing as System Approver and after SC getting ordered the SC is still with the status Awaiting approval.
Can any once have an idea how to go about with this issue.

Did you check the event linkage in SWE2? what do you see in SLG1? Did activate the task groups 40000003 and 40000007? also check in SM58 and SM21..

Shopping cart Awaiting approval

We are using SRM6.0. We have activated the WF10000060.
On ordering shopping cart get the status "Awaiting Approval".
On checking the status of the Shopping cart in SWI6..we see lot of errors in workflow log undrr steps history.

11. Error Message Created for Admin - No errors

Under Messages tab we have error message: Error when processing node '0000000007' (ParForEach index 000000).
The above errors are similar even when we activate other work flows of shopping carts.

SAP Note 962488 requests for the SWD_WFD_REPLICATE_FROM_9999 function module teo be executed. However did not solve the problem.
Also note 981295 was verified and is not for our problem.
Any better answer?

Settings to recall shopping cart when awaiting approval

We are on SRM 7.0.
In SRM 7.0 when SC is in awaiting approval and requestor press edit then shopping cart can be recalled. What are the settings / sap note required for this.

You as an administrator go to Monitor shopping cart transaction and select a shopping cart which has status 'Awaiting approval'. When you try to 'Delete' the cart, system throws an error 'Change mode only possible after recall'
Other terms
CANCEL_PROCESS_FOR_RESTART /SAPSRM/IF_CLL_MMS_SC~DELETE BBP_MON_SC 'Process controlled workflow'
Reason and Prerequisites
If the system is using process controlled workflow, the workflow has to be recalled prior to the deletion of the cart.

Issue: Deleted PO Awaiting Approval

Hello, I'm having issue with a PO which was marked for Deletion..
In SRM the PO has status Awaiting Approval and in EBP checking the Purchase with transaction bbp_pd, the ultimate change version has the awaiting approval item in blue color.
Anyone knows how to put a PO deleted into Ordered status?

if it is already approved and still awaiting approval.
manually we can set the workflow status complete using the funcaiton module
SE37--> execute the FM BBP_PD_PO_STATUS_CHANGE_WF

IV_STATUS -- 1

WorkFlow - WS10000276: Shopping cart is hanging with "Awaiting Approval'

Hi,
We are SRM 4.0 (SRM_SERVER 5.0) SP 8 (SAPKIBKS08).
We have only WS10000276 active in the system. The User orders the SC. SC goes to the approver (mentioned in attribute SLAPPROVER).
Approver changes the quantity in the SC and saves. SC comes back to user for accepting changes. User accepts changes, but the SC shows status "Awaiting approval" and hangs.
Transaction SWI1 shows only upto the step where mail notification has been sent to the user informing him that the approver has changed the contents of the SC.
We had applied SAP note 948733 as per SAP instructions but this has not worked.
Has anyone faced a similar situation? Any recommendations?
