Scheduling agreement schedule lines

I am facing a peculiar scenario. There are scheduling agreement line items that have multiple GRs on various dates.
It has been observed that in some schedule lines, the GR quantity is greater than the scheduled quantity.
Under what circumstances can this happen?
Any idea will be appreciated.

Hi Paul,
The target quantity has not been compromised, only the quantity of a particular schedule.
The tolerance is set to 0. Hence, normally it does not allow GR of quantity greater than scheduled till the current date.

    Dear Subrat,
you cannot create a yearly schedule line in the scheduling agreement. It is not possible due to format restrictions of the date field. But what you can do is the follows (it is the modification, but it should work with the help of user-exits):
    1. You can split the year schedule line to the monthly schedule lines. There are two ways to do it. If you apply the DELINS IDOC, then you can do it already during transfer of the data to the application (itr is the best way). Here you can use, for example, user-exit USEREXIT_ZUORDNEN_IDOCS (include LVED4FZZ) or customer function EXIT_SAPLVED4_002, called from the subroutine USEREXIT_DYNPRO (Include LVED4F0U). Alternatively, you can use the user-exit USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBEP (Include MV45AFZZ) within the call transaction, then it will work also in the dialog case.
    2. After getting the monthly schedule lines, you can create a planning delivery schedule, where you can split mothly schedule lines automatically to daily schedule lines according to the customer factory calender. The settings for generation of planning delivery schedules can be found under:
Customizing SPRO: Sales and Distribution => Sales => Sales Documents => Scheduling Agreements with Delivery schedules => Maintain Planning Delivery Sched. Instruct./Splitting Rules
It is the only ways, how you can reach your aim. I hope, this information will help you further.

  • Order of delivery schedule line counter at schedule agreements from MRP run

Currently we are using schedule agreements for our long term external suppliers, but we are facing a problem with the order of new delivery schedule lines created during MRP run.
Because of master data settings like, lot size, rounding value, plan delivery time and planning time fence to set as firm new requirements, multiple schedule lines are created with no order for schedule line counter.
Does anyone is aware of a BADI, user exit or customizing control to have this schedule line counter in order?

  • *MRP unable to create Delivery Schedule Lines in MM Scheduling Agreement*

    Hi Experts,
    I need your help...
The issue is, in-spit of maintaining Source List with an u201CScheduling Agreement with item No.u201D & u201CSource List Usage in MRPu201D as 2 (Record relevant to MRP. Sched. lines generated automatically), MRP run does not generate Schedule Lines, instead PRs are created.
Please help me to understand such behavior and fix the issue as the requirement is to generate Schedule Lines only.
    Thanks,
    Pratap

    Hello
    Please check
    1) Source List maintained properly in terms of Material # ; plant # ; proper POrg ; Schd Agr # and line item# ; proper validity date & MRP relevant indicator
    2) Please also check Quata arrangement if you are using. whether % is maintained correctly against the vendor
    3) MD03 , Delivery schedules- should be 3
    4) check your planning horizon whether it is NETCH or not
    5) check material master -MRP2 view, Procurement type is F- external procurement, schedule margin key if you are using
if everything above is set, then I feel it should work
    Also please verify-
lot size, safety stock and the corresponding prod volume for MRP input v/s the stock available in MMBE
    example.
MD04, we can see the open del lines.
    if SS = 50 , prod volume is 150
    1) if MMBE shows 200 then it wont generate any schedule.
    2) if MMBE is 180 and your lotsize is 40, then after MD03, you will have a schedule line of 40 (provided if everything is set properly)
Please ensure there are NO open delivery lines . if you find such in MD04, then please close open delivery lines
in calculation of MRP, system considers such open delivery lines are going to receive and no additional schedule line generated even after MRP run
    thanks

  • Change in scheduling agreement schedule lines .

    Dear All ,
We have activated release strategy for scheduling agreement .Previously while maintaining schedule lines it was not going for release .
But now while maintaining schedule lines in ME38 it is going for release .I want to know what is the reason and I want to stop this .
We have made some changes in Closed PO amendment ,like we have changed the release indicator value R -6- 10% to R - 6 -0% .
Like whenever we make change in price of a PO even a 1paise
it should go for release .
The release strategy for SA and PO is same .

    Hi,
Since you have changed the release indicator it is again going for release for any change.
Please change the release indicator to 2 from  6 so that you can change the schdeule lines or any modiifcation again release will not set
Please check the release indicator in P.O and SA

    Hi,
There will be icon called PO history in the over view screen of SA.Select the item and press it.May be this will be some what useful to you.

  • Scheduling Agreement Vs Schedule Lines

    Dera All,
    ECC 6.0
We are working on Scheduling agreement and schdelue line for Raw Material Procurement , for this we have created the Scheduling agreemnt  for vendor say for 100 kg for next 12 months, and maintained the source list in ME01 with "2"  to get the schedule lines auto generation once we run the MRP.
Dependenet requirement for next 12 months = 1200
After MRP run  the schedule lines are generating in ME38 for all 12 months = 1200 kg , but we have maintained the schedule agreement for 100 kg only , so can we restrict system to generate the schedule lines in ME38 for 100 kg only   ?
I mean in ME38 schedule lines should not plant More than scheduling agreement
Pls help me to resolve this .....
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Rajesh patil

Hi, Not sure of any work around.
Post-ME38 phase SAP gives the option of ensuring that 'Scheduled quantity & & greater than target quantity & &'  with the 06/067 message and this requirement is Pre-ME38 phase.
A similar requirement got raised today after your response, in the MM forum, and it also received the same response.

  • Automatic Delivery schedule line proposal on scheduling agreements

    Hi Experts,
I have a requirements where client wants to have automatic schedule lines in outline agreement i.e. scheduling agreements.
Is there any standard functionality available for configuring this type functionality or we have to customize?
If standard functionality available please suggest which document type we have to use, and  what are all the other settings we have to make to work this functionality.
    Thanks
    Nath

    Dear Jagnnath,
The best solution is to create a source list. You can create source list directly from the outline agreemnt main screen (Menu Bar -> Environment) or else use t code ME01. In source list maintain the validity, Pur Org, outline agreement , MRP=2. Here you may set the check box 'FIX', by doing this always scheduling lines will generate with this vendor if there is any requirement of that material.
    Hope this may help you.

  • Scheduling Agreement - Delivery schedule line number

    Hi,
I am developing a report to show the Goods receipt postings for each delivery schedules of Schedule agreements.
I am not able to find Delivery Schedules line(EKET-ETENR) in Material document table(MSEG).
How do we exactly link the GR quantity to Scheduling agreement Delivery schedules.
We have line item number but not delivery schedules.
GR quantity may be posted to different delivery scheules and for some SAs when the MRP Runs it is positng randomly.
Is there function to find the link,
Searched EKBE, EKET, MSEG  and other tables also.
Appreciate your help <offer removed by moderator>.

    Hi Shravan,
Thanks for answering, I checked those two tables EKEH, EKEK are release tables. We have some SAs without release documentation. I have to find the delivery schedules using the GR document to which delivery schedules the qty it is delivering.
It is not posting the qty from top of schedules, for some SAs it posted randomly.
Any other ideas or any function modules,
In BW it is possible using extractor but we need in R/3

  • Scheduling Agreement -Schedule line should not pass the requirement to MRP

    Hi Friends!
As we all know the scheduling agreements is outline agreement with future schedule lines, with this system will  pass the requirements to MRP for the schedule line which is even after 5 years, so my requirement is  if the schedule line date is above 15 days from the current date then requirement should not pass to MRP.
solution which we gave is, SA initially will determine the schedule line category as  CN (which will not transfer the requirement) and  a batch job program will run daily and it will check for each schedule line if any of the schedule is with in the 15 days from the current date then it will change the schedule line category from CN to CP.
Now the problem is , by using Batch Job which program I have to call to change the schedule line category?????
    1. we tried BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE but when we are changing the CN to CP it is not performing ATP where as if we do manually it is performing.
    2. we tried BDC but here also we facing some strange problem i.e. while recording the ATP screen is not populating where it is coming while doing manual.
Can someone let me know which one program we should call in Batch job to do this change.
    Regards
    Nath

    Hi nath,
i also failed in changing shedule line category in userexit and in BAPI.
in one case, i succeded in doing it with a bdc after MV45AFZZ / userexit_save just bevore the datas are reset but after the commit-work is processed.
the other possibility is, to change the accepted amount in userexit RV03VFZZ / USEREXIT_AVAILABILITY_OUT.
    3. possibility is, to block the order with a delivery - block , same as the credit-control-block. This block can be set in MV45AFZZ or perhaps in BAPI too.

  • Scheduling Agreement Schedule Lines firmed after outbound delivery

    Dear All,
We use scheduling agreement for cross-company process in our client.  After MRP run schedule lines created automatically. For the next step outbound delivery is created via VL10F (or VL10B).
After outbound delivery creation, on MD04 or ME39, i see the schedule line firmed (*). Because firmig MRP doesn't change those schedule lines. This is a problem for our client.
Do you know a way for MRP can change the schedule lines even outbound delivery created ? How can i manage this situation ?
    Best regards,

    Hi Anil
The '*' that you see means that the schedule line has been changed manually and the Firming indicator (EKET-FIXKZ) is set when there is any change to the Schedule line.
So, when a Delivery is created, the schedule line should be 'Fixed'.
Otheriwse, MRP can delete or change this schedule line and it would cause an inconsistency in the system. This is the logically intended behaviour.
Please see the F1 help for the field EKET-FIXKZ:
    "Schedule Line is "Fixed"
Fixes the schedule line and determines that it cannot now be automatically changed as a result of materials planning and control/MRP activities.
    Procedure
The indicator is set automatically if:
.- You make manual changes to a line of a scheduling agreement delivery schedule that was created via the materials planning process
.- You create a schedule line manually
    Dependencies
You can specify whether Materials Planning/MRP can change delivery schedule lines within the firm and trade-off zones in the additional data for the scheduling agreement item."
    I hope this helps.

  • Schedule lines on scheduling agreement by MRP

    Hello,
we use MRP to generate delivery schedules on a purchasing scheduling agreement. The vendor of the material has a limited capacity but when the need of our customer is very big MRP generates schedule lines on one date (too many for the vendor too handle).
Is it possible to limit the amount of a schedule line per period (for example we allow to generate 100 tons per week, if the need is 500 tons it should be splitted into 5 schedule lines over 5 weeks).
    Thank you for your help!!!!

    Hello,
the weekly lot size generates lots per week but this answers only a part of my problem.
example: vendor can produce 50 tons per week
    need is 200 tons
with a weekly lot size and a maximum lot size of 50 the system proposes 4 schedule lines of 50 tons on the same week and this is not what I want. I want 1 schedule line of 50 ton on the week and the rest on the weeks in the future.

  • To generate Schedule lines for scheduling Agreement when MRP is run.

    Hi,
Please help advise on my following requirement:
When I run the MRP for 'Single Item - Multi level' (MD02) for a material, I want MRP to generate delivery schedule lines for that material in Scheduling agreement.
Please advise as to how i can go about with this.
    Regards,
    Manju

    Hi Manju,
For this you need to set creation indoactor for planning run in SPRO.
The path is spro-MM-CBP-Carry out overall maintenance of plant parameters-Click on maintain-give your plant-click on external procurement under planning run-here you can give your option for the schedule line creation.
Traction code is omi8. Hope this will help you.
    Cheers

  • Firming the Schedule Lines in Sch.Agreement

Hi , I have done the  following to firm the schedule lines in Scheduling agreement.
    1. Firm Zone as 30 days
2.Tradeoff zone days as 60 days
3.Binding MRP indicator as NULL(Lines not changeable within Zones)
4.In OMIN , Firm Schedule lines enabled for the MRP group
When i run the MRP, schedule lines are getting created with Firm Indicator (*) for the requirements lying within these zones. After transmitting the schedule lines to vendor , if i change the requirement again, the schedule  lines within Firm Zone are getting adjusted as per the new requirment. I dont know whats the purpose behind maintaining these Firm Zone and Trade off Zone.
    Pointers are much appreciated.
    Thanks and regards,
    Milton Isaac

    Hi,
Rolling delivery schedules issued under scheduling agreements are divided into different time zones indicating the degree to which lines of the schedule are binding.
Firm zone (zone 1) (go-ahead for production).
The schedule lines within this zone count as firm and thus as fully binding. If you cancel a schedule line that falls within the firm zone, the vendor is entitled to charge you with both production costs and the costs of procuring input materials incurred by him as a result of the cancellation.
Trade-off zone (zone 2) (go-ahead for procurement of input materials)
This is the "semi-firm" zone, giving the vendor the go-ahead to procure necessary input materials for the manufacture of the item ordered. If you cancel a schedule line within this semi-firm zone, the vendor is only entitled to charge you the material costs. Schedule lines falling within this time zone are thus less binding that those falling within the firm zone.
