Screen Resolution while calling a screen

Dear SAP Gurus,
I am calling a screen and i need that screen with  1240*780 resolution.
Is it possible to do that ..if we can ..then please do let me know....
Thanks and Regards,
Dinakaran

I don't think that you can control the resolution for specific screens.  You can set the resolution on the gui, but this is a global setting.  I don't think that you can handle this with ABAP code.

  • Screen blank while calling

    I purchased nokia Lumia 520, 2 weeks back. Now when I make a call, the screen cannot be viewed,otherwise it is ok in all respect. I cannot see the call duration and cannot disconnect the call.
    Someone please tell me where to do the setting??

    hi, have you checked that you don't have anything like a screen protector blocking the proximity sensor, and also that you are up to date with the latest firmware for your device, and also that you are up to date with the latest Nokia system app updates from the Store? also try performing a soft reset.

  • Change Screen Resolution or not Change Screen Resolution?

    I mean is it possible to change screen resolution with Java?
    I read some topics (not in this forum) that is impossible. I know there is a method to set at full screen a frame with the favourite resolution but does it effectively exist a method to set the screen with a favourite resolution?
    For example:
            frame.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
            frame.setUndecorated(true);
            frame.setIgnoreRepaint(true);
            device.setFullScreenWindow(frame);
            if (displayMode != null && device.isDisplayChangeSupported()) {
                try {
                    device.setDisplayMode(displayMode);
                } catch (IllegalArgumentException iae) {
                    System.err.println("EX: " + iae);
            ...the device.setDisplayMode(displayMode) always throw me an exception: Invalid Display Mode (or something like that) with all permitted display modes (640by480, 800by600, 1024by768, etc...), with all permitted refresh rates, with all permitted color depths.
    Illuminate me please!
    Thanx in advance!

    Hi,
    I think i you should check this link
    http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=624649&messageID=3554316
    with help of above link you solve your problem of screen resolution
    but problem with above code is when you apply on frame that's ok but is you add any JDialog to that frame then JDialog and move JDialog with mouse dragged and dropped
    then dialog is invisibly run .
    you check this i you find any solution please post that it's urgent

  • Screen resolution on second 20" screen not possible with 1680 x 1050 ?

    Hi,
    I´ve got two Dell 20" widescreen monitors connected to a G5 with Dual DVI out. First monitor with DVI connected works fine with the 1680 x 1050 resolution, but the second monitor (connected via vga) can´t be set to the same necessary resolution. The monitor control panel does not offer this resolution when using vga. Does anyone know how to get this resolution with vga connector on the second screen ? (I know I had this resolution one day with tricking around with cables and switching).
    Best,
    Martin

    As far as I know, that resolution isn't available through VGA. I thought you said your machine has dual DVI out... Does your second monitor not have a DVI input? If it does, why aren't you using it?

  • Using Mini DisplayPort to VGA, screen resolution distorts.  How do I fix?

    When I use my Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter, the resolution gets too big for my screen (mbpro 15") and the same thing appears on the projector I use. I'm not sure if I should change my screen resolution while I use the projector or what?
    Also, the first (and only) time I used it, it seemed as if the signal wouldn't even send. After a while of fiddling around, the screen finally showed up on the projector (distorted) but we didn't do anything different to change that. It just kind of did it on it's own. Is this common for "first uses" or will this happen every time?
    I plan on using this again Friday.

    Welcome! If you have mini displayport, you should try the appropriate discussion group for your newer machine:

  • Screen resolution in remote connection

    Hello.
    I have several macs, both at home and at the office.
    I like to use my MacBook Air on the go.
    When at the office, I like to work from a mac mini with a full HD screen resolution.
    The MacBook Air support this external screen.
    In order to avoid connecting and deconnecting the screen all the time,
    I would like to connect to the MacBook Air from the mac Mini,
    and enjoy the full HD screen resolution, while working remotely on the MB Air.
    Unfortunately, I only can access the native MB Air resolution of 1440*900.
    Is there any way to solve this ?
    Thanks for your support,
         V.

    Hi,
    Currently you cannot change the resolution from within the session.  This is normal and expected behavior.
    Unfortunately this means you need to set the desired resolution before connecting by using custom .rdp files, manually within the Remote Desktop Client, custom web launch page, custom windows launch program, etc.

  • Flash business presentation- Screen resolution help.....

    Here's the deal. I'm creating a presentation on my laptop
    which has a 1440x900 resolution. Now, once it's hooked up to the
    projector, the projector automatically changes my screen res to
    1024x768, which completely distorts everything and it gets blurry
    and not visually appealing.
    What I'd like to do is to figure out a way around this. Like
    maybe some way to reduce my screen res to 1024x768, but maintain
    proportions with black borders like on a DVD that's been formatted
    to fit your screen. Something like that. Can anybody think of
    anything?
    Thanks in advance.

    Flash can read the screen resolution by calling to:
    System.capabilities.screenResolutionX //(and/or Y)
    but it will not read the size of the browser window itself.
    You may want to consider using a standard proportion and setting
    the swf to scale accordingly.

  • Video problems, no ttys, screen resolution changes

    Recently I have updated the nvidia drivers and others packages. Now, when the window manager (openbox) starts there is a horizontal line in the screen.
    If I press Ctrl+Alt+Fn no tty is shown.
    If I logout, the screen resolution at the login screen (Im using SLim) is below the normal and the screen looks shifted to the right, if I login the screen size is smaller  and the top of the screen is reflected in the bottom, and sometimes after logout I dont get the Slim screen but the login prompt.
    The nvidia driver version is 304.84-1.
    My dmesg show this:
    [   17.084546] NVRM: Your system is not currently configured to drive a VGA console
    [   17.084553] NVRM: on the primary VGA device. The NVIDIA Linux graphics driver

    Hi Gery
    Thanks for the useful information.
    I have noticed a similar issue with Vista running on my non-Toshiba notebook The graphic driver update helps definitely.

  • Optimal screen resolution for Windows XP

    I'm using Windows XP at times, and it was installed for me when I purchased the computer via MacMall. The screen resolution is sat at screen: 1440 x 900 Color 32 BPP. Is this the desirable setting? I have not change it, as I'm wary to experiment too much with Windows XP on the Mac.

    If you're using an LCD, the optimal resolution is what ever the native (usually advertised) resolution is of the LCD. Anything lower and things may be blurry. It cannot go higher.

  • Calling a Screen as a Modal Dialog

    Hi
    I have created a 'Z' Transaction which has only one Screen which is of type 'Modal Dialog'. Whenever i run the Z Transaction, i get the screen in a full window size. Is there any way by which i can restrict this screen to a Modal Dialog. I know that we can use call Screen XX Starting at .. Ending at.. Option. But this will help me only when i have two screens.
    Can anyone answer this as it is urgent !!!
    Rgrds,
    Murli.

    Here is an example of what I'm talking about.  Here we have a small program with a selection screen.  When you hit enter, it will call the function module which has the CALL SCREEN...Starting...Ending statement.  This will thru the dialog box in front of the selection-screen.  I believe that this is the functionality that you required.
    The program code......
    report zrich_0003.
    data:  br_itab type table of zbrbin with header line.
    parameters: p_check.
    at selection-screen.
      call function 'Z_BIN_LOC'
           tables
                br_itab = br_itab.
    The function module....
    FUNCTION Z_BIN_LOC.
    *"*"Local interface:
    *"  TABLES
    *"      BR_ITAB STRUCTURE  ZBRBIN
      CLEAR: ITAB. REFRESH: ITAB.
      CLEAR: OK_CODE, SAVE_OK.
    *Loop thru parameter table and fill up screen.
      LOOP AT BR_ITAB.
    * Entry already exists........get bin location.
        SELECT SINGLE * FROM ZBRBIN
             WHERE VBELN = BR_ITAB-VBELN.
        IF SY-SUBRC <> 0.
          CLEAR ZBRBIN-BIN.
        ENDIF.
        ITAB-KDAUF = BR_ITAB-VBELN.
        ITAB-BIN = ZBRBIN-BIN.
        APPEND ITAB.
      ENDLOOP.
      REFRESH CONTROL 'ITABCON' FROM SCREEN '0100'.
    * call entry screen.
      CALL SCREEN 100 STARTING AT 10 5
                      ENDING AT 85 16.
    ENDFUNCTION.

  • [SOLVED]Screen resolution began to be incorrectly detected

    After installing some packages not having obvious relations to video issues (mysql and zfs related packages), the screen resolution on my 1280x1024 screen began to be set as 1024x768 without 1280x1024 in the list of possible modes. I tried to X -configure but to no avail. Reinstalling xorg-server also didn't help. I tried to manually detect and add 1280x1024 mode with xrandr, this mode began to appear in the modes list, but the resolution remains 1024x768 when it's selected.
    I have an ancient SiS videocard, but  it worked OK with the standard vesa driver.
    What can be the cause of this issue and how it could be corrected?

    The X server is started via startxfce4 in the ~/.xinitrc file:
    #!/bin/sh
    # ~/.xinitrc
    if [ -d /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d ]; then
    for f in /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/*; do
    [ -x "$f" ] && . "$f"
    done
    unset f
    fi
    exec startxfce4
    I tried to use the recommendations about using xrandr. The command
    # cvt 1280 1024
    produces the following:
    # 1280x1024 59.89 Hz (CVT 1.31M4) hsync: 63.67 kHz; pclk: 109.00 MHz
    Modeline "1280x1024_60.00"  109.00  1280 1368 1496 1712  1024 1027 1034 1063 -hsync +vsync
    Then I perfrom the following two commands:
    # xrandr --newmode "1280x1024_60.00"  109.00  1280 1368 1496 1712  1024 1027 1034 1063 -hsync +vsync
    # xrandr --addmode default "1280x1024_60.00"
    This adds the 1280x1024 mode to the list of available modes in the display control panel, but when
    this mode is selected - nothing happens and the resolution remains the same: 1024x768.
    EDIT:
    I tried all three SiS drivers from the repository: sis, sisusb and sisimedia. In all three cases 'X -configure' failed with an error message: "No devices to configure". The strange thing is that the vesa driver worked OK out of the box. What could cause such a strange problem with the screen resolution?
    EDIT 2:
    The cause of the problem was the cable from the monitor to the computer: it was twisted and apparently was causing some aberrations to the signal. I found out it when added to the xorg.conf file the line HorizSync = 58-61. After adding that line the problem disappeared. I began to think why the things previously have been working OK without that line. And supposed that the matter is in hardware. I straighted out the cable and the problem isn't occuring anymore even without the xorg.conf editings.

  • Selection-screen: how to call based on a condition...

    Hello experts,
    can I do this:
    if flag has value, call selection-screen 1 else call selection-screen 2.
    Thanks guys!

    Hi Viraylab,
      Yes u can call the selection-screen based on some condition.
    In this sample of code, if first radio button is chosen then it will call selection-screen 500 and if the second radio button is chosen then it will call selection-screen 1500.
    TABLES : ZOBRENT.
    SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF BLOCK sel1 WITH FRAME TITLE tit1.
    PARAMETERS: R1 RADIOBUTTON GROUP RAD1,
                R2 RADIOBUTTON GROUP RAD1.
    SELECTION-SCREEN END OF BLOCK sel1.
    SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF SCREEN 500 AS WINDOW.
    SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF BLOCK sel2 WITH FRAME TITLE tit2.
    PARAMETERS: panid like zobrent-zopanid.
    SELECTION-SCREEN END OF BLOCK sel2.
    SELECTION-SCREEN END OF SCREEN 500.
    SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF SCREEN 1500 AS WINDOW.
    SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF BLOCK sel3 WITH FRAME TITLE tit3.
    PARAMETERS: brent LIKE zobrent-zo_brent,
                effdat LIKE zobrent-zo_effdat.
    SELECTION-SCREEN END OF BLOCK sel3.
    SELECTION-SCREEN END OF SCREEN 1500.
    INITIALIZATION.
      tit1 = 'Values'.
    AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON RADIOBUTTON GROUP RAD1.
      IF R1 = 'X'.
        CALL SELECTION-SCREEN 500.
      ELSEIF R2 = 'X'.
       CALL SELECTION-SCREEN 1500.
      ENDIF.
    START-OF-SELECTION.
      tit1 = 'Values'.
      tit2 = 'PANID'.
      tit3 = 'BRENT'.

    The Firefox Page Zoom feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox.
    Try the Default FullZoom Level extension: <br />

    Or the NoSquint extension: <br />
