Script Error at launch since recent upgrade to CS6 & features missing

After many failed attempts at getting all of the programs in CS6 Design Premium installed, I was finally able to with the help of the "Installing" forum. Unfortunately I am still having problems with InDesign. When launching I still get the script error:
Error in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Startup Scripts CS6\Flash\Flash-12.0.jsx
Line 153: if( app.name = = flashAppname && (module.name = = 'DefaultScript' II module.name = = 'Flash'))
Cannot open resource file.
Also, I am still missing Effects features under the Object drop down menu. Any ideas? I am able to open files that have "effects" in them, but am not able to edit the effects at all. I am hoping someone can help me out. I have already ran a Adobe Support Advisor log and from what I have been told it checked out fine. While the log might not indicate a problem, I think the error message and missing effects pretty much says otherwise.
I don't like to say this, especially since you had so much trouble getting this far, but I think you need to uninstall and reinstall, and I'd run the Clean script, befor the reinstall: CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3
That said, though, I'd try a last-ditch effort at a repair first. Try running MSconfig and turn off all non-essential startups and services, which is pretty much anything non-microsoft. I leave my mouse driver running, but it isn't necessary. Be sure that you've turned off anti-virus and malware scanners, instant messengers, iTunes, and any brower helpers or toolbars. Reboot. If you wind up back in MSconfig, press cancel to continue in diagnostic mode.
Run the installer. Wheter it would be best to uninstall ID, the reboot and run the installer again (still in diagnostic mode) to reinstall, or to just run a "repair" is probably a toss-up. I don't think eihter one is going to thoroughly clean the registry the way the cleaner tool does (but as far aas I know, that's gong to remove the entire package, not just ID, so we want to avoid it if possible). I'd probably try the reapir first, as it's faster and if it works, great. If not uninstall, reboot again, and reinstall.
Once finished with the installer, run MSconfig again and check the "normal startup" box and reboot.

Nothing but problems since recent upgrade to Infin...

I recently upgraded to BT Infinity. Previously I had a wireless connection throughout the house. Since the upgrade I have had quite a lot of problems. The hub is now in a different room than with the previous BB. I found that;
1) Wireless not available in a few rooms
2) Internet connection keeps switching off on laptop + PC
I purchased a booster as advised by BT. This helps at times but then I realized that not all my issues were down to the wireless connection. I realize many different devices can interfere with the connection but prior to Infinity everything was fine. This is the only change in my house. There has been no new electrical devices.
Now the following happens;
a) Internet connection keeps going down on various devices - particularly at 11pm at night
b) At times I cannot even connect with an ethernet cable from hub to laptop
c) At times speedtest shows poor results
I've had various ideas suggested by the BT employee who is attached to my case, unfortunately nothing has improved the situation and I am getting extremely frustrated with the problem. The following has been done;
1) My hub has been replaced
2) Channels reset
3) Engineer has tried to remotely fix problem and also replaced some part of copper wire leading into house
BT have recently sent me 2 powerline adaptors to try and set my hub away from the openreach box in the room it was in previously as I had no problems prior to the upgrade. Unfortunatelly BT have been unable to talk me through this and obtain a broadband connection. The BT employee is trying to set it up differently from the conventional way which he said has worked for customers before. I am awaiting the original employee to telephone me back in a few days as he is off work and his colleagues are not sure of the set up.
I am also awaiting yet another Openreach engineer to call in a few days if the problem cannot be resolved.
Initially for the first few weeks it was a complete nightmare contacting BT and having to keep repeating my story and having various employees reset channels and work their way through a set script. However recently a set person seems to have been assigned to this case and has been very dilligently phoning me and trying to resolve the problem. This is the only thing that has kept me sane as I was getting so annoyed by having to phone and take potluck with their general phone number.
I would be pleased to hear from anyone with similar problems or suggestions to resolve this.

Crashed twice since recent upgrade.

Ever since I upgraded to 6.0.2 I have been having trouble. If any other app is open and iTunes starts to update podcasts my computer freezes. Twice now my Library database file has been damaged, the first time iTunes was able to recover itself, and create a new file, but this time it collapsed, and I am going to have to drag and drop from my hard drive.
Any advice?

Underneath I have selected Music and Radio is an option between Videos and Match at the top on the right. The other reason it might not show up is in Preference, Parental you have the Radio box ticked to disable it. I have attached 2 screenshots both of itunes 11 in its 2 looks

Script error when launching desktop manager

I have a laptop running windows 7 and i installed the desktop software version 5.0 that came with my phone. i have been able to use it all this while.However it started giving me a script error and will not open as these things keep popping. unfortunately cannot paste the screen dump, but the error shows as followe:

Since recent upgrade, can not download from YouTube

Before the most recent upgrade to Firefox 3.6.8 two weeks ago, everything worked fine with this program. My issue is, I can not copy and paste a URL address from You Tube and download it into a program called Audio Editor. After the upgrade, when I copy and paste the URL address and start to download, there is no download. The message No File Downloaded, please try again. It is like there is nothing there. It worked great for a couple of months.
Is there a setting in the new version of Firefox that prevents me from copying, pasting and downloading from You Tube?

Can you be more clear about your issue. What I understand from your post is that you "can not copy and paste a URL address from You Tube and download it into a program called Audio Editor". Does this mean that you cannot paste the URL you copy? Or does this mean that Audio Editor is not recognizing the URL?
Also, this Audio Editor you speak off is not developed by Mozilla, so if it's just that it's not working correctly, you need to contact its author for support.

GarageBand won't launch since last upgrade

I haven't been able to launch GarageBand since I updated it from the "Software Update" program. It downloaded around 1 Gig of instruments and loops and won't launch since then, jumps once in the dock and stays still.
I tried deleting prefs and it didnt do anything. I created another user account and it couldn't launch it from there either.
I was wondering if anyone had the same problem or knew a way to solve it... since I just bought a midi keyboard! Just my luck.
PB G4 10.4.11 and GB 4.1.2 (248.7)

Freed up some disk space, ran a couple of maintenance programs, now works fine.

Cannot access my google calendar since recent upgrade

I operate an iMac. OS 10.6.8. I have used FIREFOX successfully for years. I have placed my google calendar in Firefox--perfect performance even to my Palm Pre Plus. I upgraded FIREFOX to version 6.0.2. TROUBLE! I cannot access my calendar since the upgrade. If I select the icon for FIREFOX, what I see on my screen is:/Screen shot 2011-09-09 at 9.18.03 PM.png--or, LOADING, For slow connections, load read-only view. When I select that, a long delay and I can only view the current month, nor the last month nor the next month nor the WEEKLY view, which is my favorite.

Integration scenarios ending in errors in HCI since the upgrade.

Hi all,
   We were having C4C-ERP integration scenarios working via HCI.
Please note that with the 1405 upgrade, all our HCI scenarios stopped running.
Whenever we are triggering an outbound from C4C, getting the below message:
Error in HCI : Inbound processing in endpoint at https://iflmaptr103h0108avtaiot-h0108.intaas.hana.ondemand.com/cxf/COD/ERP/OPPORTUNITY_FOLLOWUP
failed with message "[CXF][General][Exception]:Could not send Message.", caused by "NotAfter: Mon Jun 02 17:27:40 UTC 2014”
Not sure if anybody faced any issues in HCI after the upgrade. Kindly let me know.

I get an error icon ever since i upgraded to Yosemite

After I upgraded my macbook pro to Yosemite, my Mac started to get cranky and slow. It takes 10-20 seconds to just do the key I press (ie. brightness) So I thought of shutting it down first, because maybe it just needs some rest after the update. So when I shut it down, my screen just went black, but there was still a mouse cursor and my keyboard still has light. I waited for a while but nothing happened. So I just pressed and held the on/off button until it went completely off. After a few minutes, I turned it on. I get the apple icon at first and a line that seems to be like a loading bar (result of the upgrade) then it just turns into what seems like an error icon. I don't know what happened. Anybody that can help me understand this situation and tell me what I can to fix this? Please. Thank you in advance.

Could you post your diagnostics for us please?
In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
... and click "Next".
When you get through to the final screen:
... click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the diagnostics into a reply here.

Mail won't launch since Lion upgrade

I've just upgraded to Lion and now Mail won't launch. It appears in the title bar but doesn't launch, it also won't quit. Any ideas? I'm worried about losing all my mail.

I had the same problem, and tried recommendations that were posted on other threads. It finally occurred to me that I should try signing out and back in on the Mobile Me system preference and it worked. Hope this helps...

Problems charging since recent upgrade.

I dont know which upgrade it was but the most recent today is march 24th 2011 my phone is new iphone 4.
Tried many different charges phone works fine except not being read by itunes so isnt even recognised as a usb device either.
Still the normal charger with plug should work. Dont want to reset and loose all my setup data like internet and calendar or videos and just tons of settings,.
what can I do now to maybe help this, I have 13% power now ..

Vodafone are going to replace it (but it wont be a new phone and im none too happy), I think it is coincidental to the software upgrade. For my mind I cannot see how software should engage with the charging of the unit as if there is no power no operating system or drivers could be loaded into memory as there is no power to do that and even if there is a chip with loaded stuff already on it then it needs power a secondary battery could perhaps run some rudimentary charging controls but I would think there is only one battery.
Still seems like a hardware failure.

Problem logging on to Lloyds TSB Online Banking since recent upgrade to their sytem.

Tried for the last three days to get on to Lloyds online banking website. Just get "connecting" progress within tab, with "waiting for secure2.lloydstsb.co.uk" message at base. Lloyds assure me as there is no error message displayed that the problem is with Firefox (this has only happened since lloyds updated their software a few days ago). Have checked I have the most up-to-date version; and updated all plug ins. Still no luck!

Installing the latest version of Java seems to have improved this for me although some pages still need to be reloaded to get them to display correctly once I am logged in.

[SOLVED] Kwin refusing to launch after recent upgrade to KDE 4.13.1

I upgraded from 4.13 to 4.13.1 and I have this problem:

How can I fix this? I cannot see desktop, all I can do is to run ALT+F2 and run konsole...

Safari not opening pages since recent upgrade

A few days back there was a software update message concerning airport. I did the update and ever since Safari has been randomly failing to load pages. It half loads the page and then just stops. This happens most frequenty when I'm trying to access linked pages. Once it stops I cannot attempt to reload the page without rebooting the computer. What going on? (10.8.4 on 2008 iMac)

Are other browsers, such as Firefox, also affected? What about other Internet applications, such as iTunes and the App Store?
