Search 1D array doesn't works.

Hi.
I have a bunch of data. Let say 48000 elements. And from it, I try to search, one element using 'Search 1D array' .
However it doesn't work as wanted.
I put an indicator on output of the 'Search 1D array' , but the value always "-1".
Anybody could help me. Please refer to my VI as reference. The 'Search 1D array' is used under case structure of "Synchronize Pressure and Alpha".
Thanks.

Hi Norbert,
Please find the attachment below.
By the way, could you give one example on how to change the array from DAQ into integeter. Because, as from your suggestion, I simply use converter 'To Unsigned Byte Integer'.

  • Search by name doesn't work

    search by name doesn't work
I want to search a registry (local Registry Server) for organizations by name using the Registry
Browser. But I get the message No organizations found. When doing a search by classification the
object is found and has the name i was searching for.
Then I've try the search with this one:
http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/WebServices/jaxrws/ (to run it you have to
correct the code). But there is the same result: Serach by classification works and search by name
    not.
Can anybody tell me what's wrong?

I experienced the same problem when trying to run the examples in the Web Services Developer Pack 1.0_01. I found out that there seems to be a bug in the UDDI registry when using a different locale then en_US.
When I use sv_SE as locale I dont get any hits when querying the registry by name, querying by classification works. Also ; if I get a hit the name and description fields are empty (this causes a NullPointerException in the JWSDP portal example)
If I switch to en_US locale both querying by name and retrieving description works fine.
There seems to be two bug-reports regarding this, see http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/bugParade/bugs/4711368.html and http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/bugParade/bugs/4779503.html

  • Search in ical doesn't work

I am using 10.7.4 and my iCal search doesn't work. When I type in a search term, the results pane is blank.
    Help, please.

    Brentbin,
Notice other posts, but where's the fix?
    What have you tried?
Have you tried to...quit iCal, open System Preferences>Spotlight>Privacy, and add your Macintosh HD to the list?
Wait a couple of minutes, and then remove your Macintosh HD from the Privacy list. You should notice (after a short delay) that Spotlight is reindexing your HD. After Spotlight completes the index, open iCal and see if your search works.

  • Search Region Source doesn't work for some searches

I am updating a table, and I wanted to search our Apex app to see what reports are using the table. I typed in the table name and no results came back.
I knew of one report that definitely uses that table, so I went to it, copied the table name from the query source, and tried the search again - Still no results.
I tried a different table name, and got a whole bunch of hits.
The table name that doesn't work is floor_suite_billing
I even tried partials of that name, but I do not get the report that uses that table.
Is there something I am missing?
    TIA
    John

So, I created a test report using "select * from floor_suite_billing" and did a search. This new report came up in the results but the other one didn't.
Then I tried searching for other keywords from the query but that report still does not show up..
does anyone have a reliable way of searching Apex?
    Thanks!

  • Location bar search/keyword feature doesn't work the same as 3.x

In 3.x I could type anything in the location bar and it would "resolve" it. I could type "google maps" and it would go to maps.google.com, "yahoo mail" and it would go to mail.yahoo.com. And if it couldn't figure it out then it would do a google search.
Now, in 4, if I type the same things I get "This URL is not valid and can't be loaded." I tried to disable the fixup feature to see if that was interfering but that didn't help. I liked it the old way when I just typed what I was thinking and it would take me where I wanted to go. I've verified this many times as I still have 3 at home and 4 at work.
I also hate that the refresh button moved.

I have this same issue- I have tried changing it the way you say to, but every time I close the browser it resets and I have to change it every time I search- I should be able to type in "target" and be taken to target.com- it says that this works, but all it does is search for target and it won't even do that unless I change the settings every time I open the browser- I never had any problems with 3.5 or 6 and I am going to uninstall 4.0 and go back- it doesn't work like an updated browser should- it is worse!

  • The on page search is ONLY working from top down. Search the previous doesn't work at all. I've been using firefox v.3 till now and it ain't work at all. Can you fix it???

Just do a on page search (bring up the search bar). type a word and start searching. The search will not work until you specifically click on the page and put the cursor in the page. Why do i have to do that since i'm already viewing the page and i intend to do search??
Once you are searching the word, click on the 'Previous' button to go to previous found word. This button NEVER work since i started using firefox v.3 till now!!! Hello, pls improve your search. Go take a look at IE same page search.

    From the Firefox help files;<BR><BR>
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.

  • Google Search Timeline function doesn't work in Firefox but does in IE

I use Google for searches. After receiving search results there are additional options along the left sidebar. The "Timeline" feature takes the search results and sorts them chronologically and display the results on a timeline. This feature used to work fine in Firefox. Now after receiving search results when I press the "Timeline" option Google tells me that my search "did not match any documents."
I assumed the problem was with Google but when I finally tested it in Internet Explorer I discovered that the Timeline feature worked fine. The same exact URL in IE properly displays the Timeline sorted results but when pasted into Firefox it produces no results.
Please explain what could be causing this or I may have to switch browsers which I'd hate to do. Thanks.
Here is an example of a Google Timeline search request that produces no matching documents: "http://www.google.com/search?source=ig&hl=en&rlz=1G1GGLQ_ENUS287&=&q=mozilla+firefox+reviews&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&oq=#q=mozilla+firefox+reviews&hl=en&tbo=1&rlz=1G1GGLQ_ENUS287&output=search&source=lnt&tbs=tl:1&sa=X&ei=W20_Tf_2OoragAeJ0LG8Aw&ved=0CA8QpwUoBA&fp=d99ec83a3d63f24"

  • Searching over network doesn't work

Hey everybody, I seem to be having a big problem with searching over the network. Whenever I type something in to search, and tell it to look over the "shared" network, it doesn't even try and comes up with zero results. I switch from "Contents" and "File Name" with no luck at all. I know the files are there because I go and manually look for them. Is there something I'm doing wrong or a way I can fix this? Thanks.

If you're running Tiger, why are you posting here? If your profile info is obsolete, update it. Search these forums for *search server*, *search network*, and other variants. There have been numerous posts on the subject in the Leopard forums.

  • Search in Nakisa doesn't work for objects JF and FN only

We have ECC 6.0 EhP4 and STVN 2.0 installation.
We can activate SEARCH for standard O, S and C objects but trying to activate search for JF and FN there are no results.
We can see while activating Nakisa with trace mode nad chech that there are no results for function: HRTMC_SEARCH_OBJ.

    Hi Zeev:
The Nakisa searches for SuccessionPlanning all drive off of Enterprise Search in SAP.
Can you do me a favor and look in transaction ESH_COCKPIT and look at the following 2 search object connectors:
    HRTMC Functional Area
    HRTMC Job Family
Then over to the right of those, does it show the data is indexed?  If so, how many records are "optimized"?  If that number is 0, then indexing is your issue.  If that number is greater than 0, then I'm guessing you have an authorization issue with the user accessing the data.
Anyway, we can figure it out based upon what you see.  Let me know when you get time.
    Thanks,
    Chris

  • Finder - search multiple criteria doesn't work ("+" missing)

I used to be able to search on multiple items in finder by clicking Cmd+F, start typing, then hitting the "+" key to start adding criteria.  I can't seem to figure out how to do this on Mavericks (currently 10.9.5), and I can't find an article to tell me the answer.  For example, I want to find files with names matching "maverick" modified in the last 14 days, with size > 2MB...

  • Outlook advanced search & Exchange 2013 - "Sent to...." field doesn't work correctly in online mode?

    Hello,<o:p></o:p>
We've come across what seems to be a problem with advanced find in Outlook in online mode, when used with Exchange 2013.
Using the "Messages" tab of "Advanced Find", anything typed into the "Sent to...." field produces no search results.  If the field is populated by clicking
"Sent to..." and selecting a name from a contact list or GAL, results are returned.
    eg.
Sent items contains messages to "Charlie" who has the email address
    [email protected] and sender is
"Dave" who has the email address
    [email protected]
    Entering "charlie" or
[email protected], (or any previously acceptable partial term such as "charl" or "@contoso.com") into the "Sent to"" field produces no results.  If the user exists in a contact
list and is selected from it, the search works fine.  The same is true searching the inbox, using the local user's id of "Dave" or
    [email protected]
We've confirmed this issue occurs at four client's sites, plus our own internal Exchange 2013 CU3 system.  Four of the sites have been transitioned from Exchange 2010, the fifth was a completely new installation.  The problem occurs with Outlook
    2007, 2010 and 2013.
This works fine in cached mode (not a solution as our clients are predominantly Citrix/RDS).  Exchange search doesn't report any issues and the index states are all "healthy",
we've also tried rebuilding the indexes with no improvement.
Any ideas would be appreciated, or even if someone else can confirm they see the same thing.
    Thanks.

    Hi Winnie,
Thanks for your reply, and I'm sorry I've not responded earlier.  While this problem is one that's annoying several of our clients, and while I have been doing further testing and investigation, it's had to take a back seat to other more pressing issues
    until now.
OWA search works fine, as does using "From:" in instant search, and the "From" query on the Advanced tab in Advanced Find.  The search services have been restarted, indexing state and copy status etc are all healthy, the indexes
have been rebuilt/reseeded, and I've gone through the diagnostics again.  Nothing is logged in event viewer, and the only error that comes up when checking failed index docs for a user are for unsupported format handlers (.png etc).
The issue seems purely to be with the "Sent to..." field on the Messages tab, it's as if it gets completely ignored.  The search returns instantly with "There are no items to show in this view".  Just to make sure I wasn't losing
my marbles, I've compared searches on Exchange 2007 and 2010, and on those I can enter as little as a single letter or email domain and receive the expected results.  On 2013 I get nothing whatsoever whatever I enter, unless I pick an address from a contact
    list.
At this point, I thought that since Office 365 is Exchange 2013 based it'd be worth testing that, and sure enough I got exactly the same issue.  I setup an Office 365/Outlook 2010 profile on a machine that is currently in an existing Exchange 2010
environment where search works correctly, searching Office 365 doesn't work on that either.
EDIT - Ignore this bit, a fresh install of Windows 7 and Office 2010 doesn't work with Office 365 either.  I am exploring another avenue.  I setup a fresh Windows 7 VM, installed Office 2010 and connected that to Office 365, search worked fine,
so I'm now looking into what the difference with that VM and the servers and workstations out "in the wild" could be.  For example, the test VM isn't on a domain, it's not fully patched, it has no additional software installed etc.  Outside
of Microsoft applications and operating systems and having similar configurations, I haven't isolated a common link across all of our client sites that are affected, there's no single 3rd party application or anti-virus solution in place at all of them for
    example.
I'll update with any findings, but if you or anyone else has any idea in the meantime I'd be grateful for your input.
    Regards.

  • 10.2.0.424 search partial number in the call list doesn't work

    The scenario is this
I remember I've been call from one number.
I only remember one part of the digits
    Let's say 6532
I go to call list and go to use the search function
No results, but scrolling the call list and wasting a lot of time, I see that I was remembering correctly that number.
What is The point of having databases and a search function that doesn't work?
Thank you for replies and opinions

Toggling these items to OFF in the Hub settings prevents the messages from these sources from appearing in the main Hub view.  This does not (currently) remove them from the Hub entirely.  It's possible we may see that option in an upcoming OS release.

  • Find files in folder doesn't work

To make my photo galleries, I use CS5, because this is the last version that can use modified galleries that I was able to since CS3.  My modified pages have links to other pages on my web site, while the ones that now come with Photoshop are dead end with no links.
So, another feature lost in later Bridges is the ability to show ALL the contents of a folder and its subfolders.  To get around this, I choose to show folders whose metadata or filename DO NOT contain zzz, since none do.  This has worked fine and I have made hundreds of galleries from my phylogenetic folder trees of species.
Until I came to this gallery of Tachinidae. I have been updating all my Arthropod species galleries  After I did the usual procedure, and created the gallery (and deleted the previous gallery both on my PC and the web), I noticed that the first image was a Belvosia, and there were non of the Archytas or other species that should have come before, alphabetically.  I tried again and found that it was ignoring a lot of files in some subfolders that should have come up.  I tried other finds, like all files ending in .tif, or all that had the keyword Tachinidae, and always the same result.
Then I tried the same search in CS6 and it finds all, but of course I can't make my galleries here,  I went back to CS5 and made a new folder TACHINIDAE 1  and moved all the files there and tried again, with no success.  I tried a backup file with the same result.  Rebooting didn't help.
Today I tried again and as it did the search, I could see it indexing the Archytax subfolder and others that were not included, but now after  over 30 minutes, all I have is a spinning circle and no items.  I had gone back to other folders that I had made galleries of just before and they pull up all the images, as before, but this has stopped my progress in this project dead in my tracks.
I can't make any sense of this at all.

Well now it's not working at all.  I moved the folder to a higher level of my directory tree, with the same result.  then I just tried a subfolder and it quickly found that there were no images, either that didn't have zzz or that ended in .tif.
Than I tried another family folder and it quickly found no images according to the criteria.  So now the search function just doesn't work.

  • Possibility to choose displayed perspectives in folder doesn't work

On the folder level is possible to choose displayed subfolders and perspectives from availables. Only these subfolders and perspectives should be displayed in the folder. Subfolders works OK, perspectives are displayed all without respecting this setting. Portal version is 3.0.9.8.1 on NT.

  • Quick time player doesnt start any more since kernel shock and update, the symbol looks different, reinstallation doesn´t work

    hi there.
I am using a Macbook Pro with snow leopard and this is my problem:
I was having a Kernel Shock 2 weeks ago. After that, my Finder-Dashboard hasn´t work any more. I´ve did the latest update. Now Dashboard Works but Quick Time Player doesns´t do.
I Can´t find NOWHERE in the internet an installation file for Quick time player to reinstall. And I can´t find my Installation DVD.
quicktime has changed his symbol to an white picture with pensil and brush.
I have made a second Account and activeted the guest accounts and tryed there, but Quick time player isn´t here working to.
its really sad that this program doesn´t run any more.
It blinks 2 times in the dock and shut down immediately.
Can someone please help me? is my only opinion finding the Disc?

I've tested that on an iPad 1 and it seems problem is performance related. On this device a simple click to a google search result link doesn't work properly. You hit the target multiple times and sporadically it opens. You still see the focus on the object and it's activation but no event triggering happens.
All others functions are working well, only Webapps and Webpages suffer from this issue.
The owner of the device has not recognized that issue and believed it is a "feature" not a bug as he do not has much experience with Apple devices. But this confirms it is on every device and not my own personal one or dedicated to our office. The only workaround is to use other devices or touching links with different speed/pressure. It works better if you hit the objects very quick lifting the finger immediately.
