Searching inside and for a modem For my G4
Hello,
What I need to know in looking if my G4 Power Mac tower Digital Audio version, is the modem card installed flat horizontal or upright vertical in the standard slots on the main circuit board.
I need a modem for my G4
I am also under the impression that I will need to upgrade my OS 10.4 to a higher version for a modem. Can I download this from the Mac sight using a DSL line?
My new hand me down G4 Power mac that I just received needs a modem. As one of our fellow Mac user described that the metal cube in the top right hand corner of the top back of my Mac G4 is a modem filter and not the modem. But has the standard telephone plug for a dial up modem. So far my AOL software detects no Modem as does the networking find feature on G4 computer itself

[SOLVED]Search inside packages for future actions
Hi!
I have had some troubles when I downloaded a lot of fonts and used makefontpkg script for making installation packages for them. The problem was that all files created by makepkg was automatically moved to the predefined folder and got mixed with other packages there. Then, I decided to make a new folder for them and for an easy way to move all of the font install packages I made a script.
Here is just an example of it:

Personally, I prefer explicitly building the references of the controls I want into an array and passing that array to a subVI. See here for a simple example:
That example uses the OpenG VI internally, but you can easily replace it with the NI VI if you flatten the variant to a string. The same concept can apply to saving to a DB. This RCF plugin allows quickly building an array of references for selected controls.
Another option which is more elegant than using the description is assigning a tag to each control you want to edit. This is more elegant, but requires building an edit time tool which will allow you to edit tags on controls, since the only way of accessing them today is through a reference to the object which has the tag. You can build such a tool, but it requires a bit of know-how. This VI (basically a floating tool which allows you to manipulate selection on the VI you're currently editing) will get you some of the way there and also show you where the tag VIs are.

It was the strangest thing. You would think that once you delete a message off your phone it is gone.
But in the "search iPhone" feature several key numbers like an area code reveal phone numbers of people
who aren't in my contact list, specifically the first few words of text messages that I deleted long ago.
I would like to eliminate these once and for all.
Will "Erase Content and settings" do this for good? Once I restore the phone will they come back?

Attachments dont download from Gmail in Safari, They disappear,I even tried re-downloading Safari and that download disappeared, it is not in my downloads folder, I actually searched in finder for the file and it is nowhere on my computer. Please help!
Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!

Whenever I am using Firefox mobile - either regular, beta or aurora and go to search for something like through the Google search page and attempt to search for something the search bar does nothing and hitting the enter button instead doesn't do anything either. Is there a way to keep this from happening?

answer and I said that before I don’t use any antivirus and I always turn off my firewall from the moment I installed my Windows.
I even turn off any automatic update for any of my software and I never let any unknown plugins or any thing like that be install without informing me. And if you know some things like Offline Storage and cookies must be to much more than usual and you have to clear them and delete them and I know so much more
And if you want to know it fixed now. But I don’t know how?
For understanding my problem read and research about Ixplorer.exe virus it is the same problem about the speed but the different is it doesn’t show any process in task manager like Ixplorer.exe virus

I am having a painful problem with itunes 10, everytime I go everytime I go into the itunes store to search for a song, even if I type one letter Itunes will instantly launch into search mode and doesn't stop, so because I can never get past putting in the first letter or two, I'm unable to search and download any songs. I am on the latest Imac Intel core i7 Mac OS X, can anybody help?

Fist, I should mention I am not a programmer but am eagerly learning powershell!
I am looking for an automated solution to accomplish what I am currently doing manually. I need a script that would combine the following:
Reach out to a list of websites (probably a loop of some sort since the list will come out of a spreadsheet which could contain 1 or 100 different sites)
Search each page for a specific word or words (not contained in the spreadsheet though that may make it more scalable)
Save the URL of the site(s) that contained the keywords to one text file (versus the multiple .html files I am creating today)
Have the output contain which words it found on which site.
If not overly complicated, I would like to schedule this to recur once a week.
A working script would be ideal, but even the resources that show me how to incorporate each element would suffice.
I have had success pulling down the full content of the listed pages and saving them to a directory, which requires manual intervention.
So far this works, but it's not scalable:

SharePoint list column (or site column used as a list column), after we create a list item and make sure column has value, and start a full crawl, then a Crawled Property format as ows_thisColumnName (e.g. ows_Description in this case) will be
generated for this column, you can check the search service application from Central Administration site, find the Crawled Property ows_Description and make sure the option "include values for this property in the search index" is checked, and
re-start a full crawl, then check results again.

Whenever I go to iTunes with my iPod 5th generation 32 gb iPod Touch, running iOS 8.0.2, It tells me that the "Other" category is using up 14.59 gb of data. I have no clue why it says this and I have searched the internet for fixes and none worked. I have tried on a windows and a mac and noticed no change. I have tried restoring to a backup but that didn't help. I haven't had time to do a full restore but I will try if the problem persists.
An "other" larger than about 1 1/2 GB indicates corrupted files.

Is there any way to search for a term using the Firefox search field, and have the results automatically open in a new tab? When there was support for Google Toolbar, I was able to do this; now, whenever I want to search for something, I have to open a new tab to do it, and cut-and-paste my search into the search field in the new tab. I used to be able to highlight, drag, and drop something into the search field and have it automatically open in a new tab. This is enough for me to switch to Chrome . . .

About Google toolbar............
Google decided that they will no longer produce the Google Toolbar for Firefox 5 and newer version. It is best to move on to other alternatives than to try any "hacks" to the toolbar that may or may not perform in the future. Future versions of Google toolbar will only work with IE7-9. I've tried several times to clear my search history without any success. I've been able to do so in the past, but this is the first time I've tried in a while and for some reason it will not let me check the box for "Form and Search History." Then sometimes it will let me check that box, but when I click "ok" to apply the clearing of the search history, nothing happens and it still remembers all my sites. At that point I try to clear it again and its back to not letting me check the "Form and Search history" box (I've gone through this cycle a few times). I tried looking through some of suggested articles that Firefox sent me too, but I don't know much about computers and just doing the things they seem talking about isn't working either. Please help, thanks!

My lap top is extremly slow. It studders. It kind of sounds like there is a fan inside and it constantly stopping and starting. And, it takes a really long time for it too start up. Whats wrong with it?
Do you have current backups?
Those symptoms could indicate a failing Hard drive. If it dies, all your documents go with it unless you have Backups.
I have had very good luck with physical and battery problem diagnosis at the Genius Bar. Those guys put their hands (and their ears) to these machines, all day every day, and they know immediately what all those sounds mean.

I have a problem with searching , for ex i want to searching facebook and and he does not seek
I want to give the search, and he was not looking. For example are on yahoo, i search facebook and he dont search still looking on yahoo
Its a good practice to search from within the websites themselves IE: log into facebook and use their localized search engine to find people/info. Same goes for Youtube etc. Broadbased searches using google, yahoo etc are fine but their results will be very broad and only as direct as your search criteria.

I am writing a book and need to have the margins alternating left and right pages, so that there is sufficient margin for the binding. I have tried different inside and outside margins, the same inside and outside margins, facing pages, changing the master, and I cannot get the margins to alternate at print time. The larger margin is always on the left. Can anyone please help me on this, as I have spent hours and lots of ink.
