Searching & tagging artboards

I'm looking for a possibility to tag illustrator artboards so I can categorise our artwork efficient. We make a lot of artwork per project and wish to find and reuse that more efficient.
I'm not looking for naming artboards, but tagging artboards with more than one tag. You can tag illustrator files in Bridge, but not artboards themselves.

We develop a lot of small icons per project (animations, infographics, presentations). We also reuse these icons for new projects. But we would like to have the icons arrange in one file, per project.
Whenever we start a new project we either A) develop new icons, B) use existing icons.
Let's say a new project will contain 4 icons of people. I like to have a specific woman and I know I allready developed it a long time ago. With the sollution I'm looking for, I can easily find all icons containing people or women.
One way of doing this is by exporting all artboards to new illustrator files, but this is not a good solution since we will have 1000's of files, and whenever I correct an icon in the project file, I need to export the artboard again to have it included in the seperate AI file.

Yep, came close to giving up but I like Arch too much/dislike the idea of giving up. It might be a while though before I can get my machine into a production state however as I've got to work in the meantime, so Arch is going to have to become a side-project/hobby for the time being rather than the priority I made it over the last few weeks.

Adobe Bridge, tagging and searching videos

The company I work for has a enormous library of video. We are at a point where we would like to start tagging our video to where it is searchable.
i.e., Search "boy" "classroom" and we will have a list of all video assets that are tagged with the words "boy" and "classroom"
I have found a handful of Adobe Bridge tutorial videos that touch on searching meta data but only applies to photos. And the fields that I have entered metadata in for testing, will not appear when searching.
I am just wondering what the workflow is for adding tags to video files so any colleagues or clients and come in, open Bridge, search tags and pick out the video clips needed.
Is this possible with Bridge?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can search for any metadata (criteria all metadata), but do not believe possible with video. Keywords are written to the image, and not sure how this would work with a video clip.
A workaround is to make a jpg frame save from the film and keyword that.

How I can Search for Multiple Tags?

I want to search for "Tags" only. Not bookmark title name or its address.
For example: I want to search for all bookmarks tagged with "flower and red".
I have tried all special characters but nothing works.

but I want to use this method inside bookmark library So I can organize bookmarks not only open them.
Is there any way to search tags inside bookmarks library? I am really very disappointed that firefox doesn't support such an important feature.

Tags Search in ADF

Hi,
I'm trying to implement tagging of pages in an application. The pages are getting tagged but when I go to tag search(Tag Center) and click on the tag name it says "No resources yet". I checked on the page and it indeed is tagged. Only the tag center doesn't show the resources for this tag.
I've included the required libraries i.e "WebCenter Tagging Library" in "JSP Tag Libraries" section and "WebCenter Tagging Service View" in "Libraries and ClassPath" section
Am I missing on something? Any help is appreciated.

How to get cm:search to use the max attribute when creating the SQL query?

When we use the max attribute in the cm:search tag, it does not seem to honor the max attribute when creating the SQL query. However, the result returned from the tag is limited to the number specified by the max attribute. Then the tag seems to work as intended, but the performance will be sub optimal when the SQL query returns unnecessary rows to the application.
We use the cm:search tag to list the latest news (ordered by date), and with the current implementation we have to expect a decrease in performance over time as more news is published. But we can’t live with that. We need to do the constraint in the SQL query, not in the application.
The sortBy attribute of cm:search is translated to “order by” in the SQL query, as expected.
Is it possible to get cm:search to generate the SQL query with an addition of “where rownum <= maxRows”?

The behavior of a repository in regards to the search tag's max results parameter is dependent on the underlying repository's implementation. That said, the OOTB repository in WLP does augment the generated SQL to limit the number of rows returned from the database. This is done in the parsing logic. This behavior may differ with other repository implementations.

I have an content.xml with thouthand <table:table-row /> tags.
How can I read the attributes and values of the tag 150 for example?
Should I read one tag after the other before I reach 150, or there is a shorter way?
XML Structure of content.xml as example below.
In this sample I want to get the row4 and its value D4. Of course I don't know what value have the fourth tag and can't search tag with a value D4. I just know that the Row4 contains the value I need.
Is there any possibility to read the fourth tag, or I should read from the beginning and increase the counter. If the counter is 4, I should read the value. It seems to me not a good approach, because the files can contain thousands of tags and for each value to go throught the whole xml is resource-intensive.

And is there any possibility to get the tag with the value 5. I know that the fifth tag should contain the value I want, in this case 5. But there is an attribute, and if this attribute is not null, then some tags1 can be shifted so that the third tag1 have an attribute tags=2, so I know that there is no the fourth tag and I read the next tag as fifth (with XPath doc/tag[4]).
Should I read all tags, or there is some other way with the XPath. To search for the first tag with attributes and if its position before the fifth tag, than to decrease the tag-position counter and so on.

IWeb images not showing on google image search

I've created an iWeb website but can't find any of my images on google image search, although the site appears on web search. I've created new sitemaps 4 days ago, tagged the images with iWeb SEO... I've made two separate pages of images only, not the photo album pages which I think are difficult to search / tag.
Does anyone know how long it takes Google image search to list your images. It already has listed my website on web / text search for sometime.

How to display all tagged photos from the whole catalogue?

Hi,
I have been googleling around, but have not found the right information. I am trying to find all my tagged photos of all imported photos, but it would only show the tagged photos from a specific folder when I select that specific folder or from the timeline, in which I already knew that some tagged photos belong in those folders.
My question is...how can I search tagged photos from the whole catalogue without going through the timeline or clicking each folder and subfolder to view them. I would like that the organizer display all tagged items from all my folders and subfolders at once.

Pse 7 cannot find all photos with a specific tag

I keep my photos in a series of 'nested' subfolders by year and by topic and I have found that PSE7 will only find the first photo with a specific tag, for instance searching for one of our dogs by tag name will find the first time we saved a photo of her. It will not find her in the subsequent 7 years of folders/photos. It is v irritating and I thought that I could do this search previously. Help please. Thanks.

Sorting Ultra Search results

I am in the process of researching Ultra Search and I am planning on building search functionality using the Ultra Search tag library. Part of the requirement of this search is that the search results need to be sorted alphabetically on a particular attribute. Is this possible with Ultra Search? If so, how can it be done? Or are the results always returned sorted based on the relevance score?
Any help would be appreciated.

Root level Tags on Drives ?

How can I manage tags on Drives, Internal/External and Network Drives ?
I have used the labeling of a Drive Icon in the OSX 10.8 and earlier, and now this has become a non-removeable search tag !
Can anyone help with a Terminal Unix command or tricks ?

Perhaps the speed difference is in the computer. I'm running a 1.25 PowerPC, you have a Mac Pro.
I'm glad to hear the Mac Pro is running OK. We have a installation upgrade disc waiting for our Mac
Pro but was not happy with the problems we encountered with the older machine. On the Mac Pro we have a ProMax RAID that can not be down if possible.
This RAID problem is a big ($) problem. Is there a location to report these bugs to Apple?

Keywords for my Podcast not working right in Search Podcast

I'm wondering if any other podcasters are having problems with the "search podcast" feature not finding your updated keywords? I've changed the keywords using Smartcast in Feedburner but the new keywords never seem to get any hits for my podcast in the search mode. In fact, only a couple of them work. Yet, at Odeo and other places, the updated keywords show up. Any suggestions on what to do or what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!

All the tags are explained there. (But they do not explain that the search tag does not work - at least I've never been able to search on the keywords I put in our feed. But search does work on the other tag I mentioned. But you do not want to just load that with keywords, since that's what will display in the ITMS!)
