Season Pass help on new computer

I finally made the move to a MacBook Pro from a PC. I was able to get all my music over but my SNL season pass does not seem to work anymore. I get the emails letting me know a new episode is available for download. I click the link. Nothing. I go to ITunes directly and it doesn't show anything available for download.
Any ideas on how to correct this situation is appreciated.

Is your new computer logged into and authorized to the iTunes Store account through which you purchased that Season Pass?

  • Help!  New Computer

I am somewhat new to IPod & have a problem with my new computer.
I haev recently bought a new PC as my old one died quite spectacularly without a back up of teh ITunes Library. I want to transfer the IPod songs to the new Vista computer, but I have no idea how to do this.
Someone suggested music rescue, but we are having trouble with that. Surely ITunes has a recovery system in place somewhere
Can anyone help me as I do not relish the thought of transferring all my stuff onto the IPod once again!
thank you to anyone with info!!!

*Surely ITunes has a recovery system in place somewhere*
Yes, but you chose not to use it (for some reason).

  • Help.  New Computer, Need to Move I-Tunes

I have just got a new computer and I need to transfer my music to my new laptop. I have read the instructions on how to move them via IPOD hard drive or burning CD's.
My question is, can you use an external hard drive to transfer the music over. I dont want to mess with all the steps in using the IPOD hard drive and it would take way to many CD's to copy my whole library.
Help! Any help would be welcome!

  • Help! new computer! new itunes! how to transfer stuff over?

ive bought a new laptop, all my iphones apps and music are synced with my previous laptop, have plugged my iphone in new laptop to sync and it wants to copy thatt libary on to my iphone which is empty, so will end up with nothing on my iphone! can anyone help? and tell me how to overcome this without having to keep my old laptop!

Same as you do every time you get a new computer. Move all of your information from the old computer to the new one.
You can use your backup copy for this .
You can go to the top of this page and click "Support", then type "move itunes library" into the search bar.
If you have a mac then you can use migration assistant to move everything over or just copy the entire itunes folder.

  • Need help with new computer/ipod

Hi i have a new computer and I want to put my ipod music on the new computer I can not figure out how to do this. When i plug into I-Tunes it only wants to sync and erase my IPOD help????

1). Connect your iPod to your new computer. When you get the message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all the songs from your iPod.
2). When your iPod appears in the iTunes source list change the update setting to manual, that will let you continue to use your iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it. Check the "manually manage music and videos" box in Summary then press the Apply button. Also when using most of the utilities listed below your iPod needs to be enabled for disc use, changing to manual update will do this by default: Managing content manually on iPod and iPhone
3). Once you are connected and your iPod is safely in manual mode there are a few things you can do to restore your iTunes from the iPod. iTunes will only let you copy your iTunes Store purchases directly from an iPod to the computer, you'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer
For everything else (music from CDs, other downloads and including iTunes purchased songs and in some cases, videos and games) there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. You can read reviews and comparisons of some of them here:
Wired News - Rescue Your Stranded Tunes
    Comparison of iPod managers
A selection of iPod to iTunes utilities:
TuneJack Windows Only (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
SharePod Windows Only (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
    iPod2PC Windows Only
    iDump Windows Only
    YamiPod Mac and Windows
iPod Music Liberator Mac & Windows
    Floola Mac & Windows
iPodRip Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
iPod Music Liberator Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
Music Rescue Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
iGadget Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
iRepo Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
iPod Access Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
TouchCopy Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
There's also a manual method of copying songs from your iPod to a Mac or PC. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available on page 2 at this link: Copying Content from your iPod to your Computer - The Definitive Guide
4). Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync.
5). I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay: Back up your iTunes library by copying to an external hard drive

  • Help! New computer, trying to transfer from iphone/ipod to computer!

Please can someone help me, my hard drive on my old computer is gone, we had a power surge and it blew and they told me that all my documents, pics and music is gone.  I now have a new computer and I am trying to transfer all of my photos and music to my new computer but I can't sync my phone (I havent tried my ipod yet).  It keeps saying that I have no record of a previous backup.  I was using my iphone and ipod as storge and back up of all pics and songs.  I managed to transfer all my purchased songs to my new itunes, but how do I transfer stuff from my iphone/ipod to my computer like playlists, photos, and music that was not purchased through itunes!!  Is this possible?  I would appreciate any help!  Thanks.

Hi, Using IE, go to Tools, Manage addons and look under "Show"(very light text) for Shockwave Flash Object and make sure it is listed and Enabled.
Then using FF, go to plugins and make sure Shockwave Flash is Enabled.
If you computer is a 64bit Operating System, be sure to use the 32bit browser.

  • Season pass help

I have bought several season passes on my iPad right now I don't have access to my laptop. The latest episodes for Sherlock holmes will download automatically but the other season passes will not. So I guess my question is are the latest episodes from season passes suppose to download right to my iPad or do I have to download to a pc and then transfer them to my iPad?

You need a computer to download those future episodes. The iPad iTunes doesn't have the "check for available downloads" option.

  • I bought a seasons pass and the new episode isnt downloading

I bought a seasons pass for glee season 4 and the new episode came out and i tryed to download it but its saying I have to pay for it.

Quite a common problem. Just have to be patient. Sometimes, it can take up to one week!!!
Yup, still waiting for Episode 4 for both Smallville and Supernatural.

  • Please help iPhone new computer issue

    I'd appreciate the help please.
just bought a new computer and want to use my iphone 4 with this computer now. how do i tell the computer that I want this to be the sole computer and will i lose all my contacts and photo's ?
ive searched but can't find the solution.
    cheers

Copy everything to your new computer.
If they are documents, then just copy them to the new computer.
Do the same with your contacts, calendars, etc.
You can type "move itunes library" or similar into the Google search bar to learn how to do that.
How did you move everything to your current computer?  Do it the same way.  Certainly your new computer provides a way to copy content from your old one.

  • Logic Pro 9.1.8 Academic help - have new computer no discs

    Hello,
I somehow misplaced my original disc(s) for this product. My old computer is hanging on by a thread, so I can still view the data on the pop-up screen after logging in. Is there some manner that I can utilize this to get Logic Pro loaded onto my new machine? I'm retired and don't have spare $$ to buy another version.
    Thank you in advance,
    Lee

The first method involves the use of the Migration Assistant program... to move your old computer's aps and data over to your new Mac..but people have reported very mixed results... so use at your own risk and make sure you fully back up your new computer before doing so...
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4889 if your old mac was running Lion or Mountain Lion
    and
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4413 if your old mac was running Snow Leopard
Failing that... (and as i said, it might well fail!!)
Contact Apple and explain your situation in full, including the fact you are retired and on a limited budget.
I have found them to be very helpful when needing replacement disks for my clients who have damaged or lost them... and in a couple of cases, the charge was really minimal (less than $15 for a full set of Logic Studio/ Logic Pro 9 DVDs)

  • Help! New Computer, trying to sync

So, I downloaded I Tunes to my new computer, no problem. Authorized it with the ITunes Store, no problem, the problem is, (Sorry if this is a stupid question), I am trying to sync and put all my music currently on my I Phone on to the ITunes in my new computer. But whenever I select Sync, this message appears saying: "Are you sure? all music on I phone will be erased and replaced with music on I Tunes (which is none). How do I transfer my music from my I Phone to I Tunes on my new computer?

I would like to know if there is a way to update the phones software using the new computer without loosing the music that is already on the iphone.
Not unless you have access to the original iTunes library where the music is stored.
the update process involves backing up the phone to the last computer that it synced with, deleting the entire phone content, updating and then restoring the phone.
If you cannot create a backup before updating, you will lose the phone content. You need to be able to back the phone up first - have you never synced it with iTunes on a computer ?

The easiest way would be to transfer your music from your iPod...do a search for the phrase "Computer Crashed" and you'll find lots of instructions for the transfer.

As for the songs not on your iPod, they are lost, unless you backed them up. You might contact iTMS and beg for another download, but they are under no obligation to allow it.
