I have gone to this website almost everyday for years and I have not changed anything in my internet settings, but now I'm getting this message: secure connection failed: The Certifying Authority for this certificate is not permitted to issue a certificate with this name. (Error code: sec_error_cert_not_in_name_space) The only thing I KNOW I did differently, was I installed a CAC reader to my computer, since then, this has been happening. IPod Touch Mail "Secure Connection Failed, The Certificate may be invalid"
I've setup my POP account 100% correctly on my iPod touch, at times it even downloads my e-mail into the iPod Touch as well, however everynow and then it will come up with the message "The certificate for "Mail Account" may be invalid" Then it just goes on to retrieve my e-mails when I select continue. Any ideas??
I called Apple support regarding this issue today and managed to get my problem resolved. When I went to add a new mail account it gave me the same error posted above... however, if you click "Continue" and wait about 2-3 minutes (yes, minutes) the iPod will come back and ask you if you want to try creating the mail account without SSL. Another window will come up after about 2 minutes confirming that it cannot create an account with SSL, and then prompt you again if you want to go ahead and create the non-SSL account. You click yes, wait ANOTHER 2 minute and voila. It jumps back to the main settings screen and you have a working mail account.
Their support representative said it sounded like they would be releasing a patch in the future to make this easier (and reduce the timeout for SSL testing so you don't have to wait so long). -
my iPod is I 5th generation. I forgot my passcode and typed in the wrong thing too many times, so now on the lock screen it says "connect to iTunes" I did all the steps your supposed to. I unplugged all cord from iPod connecting to my computer, I held the home button and plugged my iPod back in, and then I keep holding the home button until the iTunes sign showed up. I got to the right page and then clicked restore. A small window came up saying " restore and update" I clicked it, I agreed to the terms and agreements and the updating started. The updated finished with =out a problem. I t was when I clicked "restore " that I had a problem. The restoring lasted until I had about 10 or 11 minutes left. that is when I saw a alert of my screen saying "iTunes could not finish restoring,. an unknown error occurred. error code: 0xE8000065" I tried restoring and updating my iPod about three or four times now! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot find any reference to this sort of activity by Firefox on your website. It is an '.exe' program location and McAfee warns me that "Hackers can use programs to steal your personal information or hijack your PC".

No, unfortunately McAfee does not give any more detail as to the origin of these incoming connections - is there a way to find out from McAfee?
I would have thought that Mozilla Firefox should have the answers, but I have been unable to find any reference to this issue on their website, Help section etc.
Could it be the way my Options are configured? - although I've not changed them from the Default settings as far as I can remember.

Hi I am having trouble getting my Toshiba Satelitte to get past the welcome screen. It is getting hung up on the welcome screen after I put in my password. It just never loads and I end up with a black screen. I tried using the System Repair Disk
