How do I stop the security warning window from popping up every time I go to a web page? It says " Do you want to view only the web page content that was delivered securely?"

Security warning popped up in dreamweaver about flash player

I had the trial version of DW cs4 installed. I purchased CS4 design premium that packages dw, fireworks, flash etc. Last night I instaled it on my computer.
This morning while working in DW I embedded a YouTube video and received this security warning:
Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation.
The following local application on your computer or network:
C:\Users\Videos\index.html is trying to communicate with this Internet-enabled location:
s.ytimg.com
To let this application communicate with the internet, click settings. You must restart the appthe application after changing your settings.
Does anyone know what this means? Should I allow the communication with s.ytiming.com

This warning is talking about the Flash Global Security Settings Manager. This is not a virus but rather a very common security step related to allowing Flash to connect to the Internet while testing on your local machine. This only occurs during testing on your local machine and does not come into play when that same Flash object is on the Web page on the server.
The Settings Manger allows you to "approve" connecting to the Internet for a particular Flash object.

So go to the Settings Manager, Click "Edit Locations" or "Add Location" and browse on you computer for the Flash file that you are giving permisssion to connect to the Internet. Each Flash object that attempts to access the Internet will need to be given permission separately.
Kind of a pain... or just upload your Flash to the server and test from there, then it's not an issue.

Why is my fillable pdf "Email to" action button giving security warning. Can someone help me?

I created a fillable pdf form with an action button that I would like users to use when submitting forms via email. I have double-checked to make sure of the correct email address, but I keep getting a security warning pop up. It states: "This document is trying to connect to: file..." and when I click allow it tells me I need to be running inside a browser to submit the form. All I want to do is allow users to send their form to a specific email address. Please help. I needed this assignment completed yesterday.

No, I am not opening the file in a browser window. I was trying to preview the file to make sure that it would work when it was sent to the individual via email. Will the function only work if the user downloads it from a web page? If so, that might explain a great deal.

Open File - Security Warning with Network-based Silent Install of CS4

I am attempting to run an enterprise deployment of CS4 Design Standard Edition onto a pool of WinXP Pro workstations. I placed all of the install files on a networked server running Windows 2003, and generated from there all of the requisite .xml files (install, uninstall, and override files). From this network share, I can successfully run a silent install.
HOWEVER. Multiple times (two or three) during the course of the silent install, I receive the same pop-up security warning from Windows XP (definitely an OS message, not anti-virus or other) that reads as follows:

Name: AIRApplicationRunner.exe
Publisher: Adobe Systems Incorporated
Type: Application
From: (server IP address)
I have tried excluding Adobe Air from the installation package, but I still receive the same security prompt. This is sufficiently a hassle to have to click through these prompts in a silent install. But more importantly I am unable to run the silent install as part of a logoff script because for all intents & purposes it is no longer a silent install (i.e. it requires user intervention). To top it off, I found when testing the logoff script the prompts are suppressed and the installation fails prior to the bulk of the installation (Photoshop, Illustrator, & InDesign).
I'm sure that I could run the install by copying all of the files to each local workstation, but again that would defeat the purpose of an easy, network-based install. In the past I was able to install CS3 in this fashion with no troubles, which of course did not include Adobe Air.
Can anybody offer a suggestion as to how to disable these security messages, or alternately, how to entirely exclude Adobe Air from the install package? I have found a VB script that is supposed to address the security warnings issue, but to run the script also requires the user to accept it at a security prompt.

I'm now able to deploy design suite premium cs4 successfully.
The issue for me was that the AirapplicationRunner installs some useless software. I worked around the issue with the Airapplicationrunner prompt by removing any apps that are installed using that method. By "removing" I mean marking that app as "donotinstall" in the deployment file. The apps I removed are these adobe codes for adobe media player, adobe.com, adobeair itself. The below is from my deploy.xml file used for the silent workflow:

If you mark those three adobe codes as "donotinstall" the prompt never appears and the real apps get installed just fine.

"Security Warning" dialog box when click script set to Run at Server

I am rendering a PDF form using the renderForm component. I'm setting the Target URL. I have a script on a button set to "run at server". I can render my form in a browser and fill it out, but when I click the button I get a dialog box with a title of "Security Warning". It says "Acrobat is attempting to connect to [target URL]" with options to Allow or Block. Is this the expected behaviour for server-side execution of scripts?
I'm thinking that maybe I should just use a submit button instead. The problem with that though, is that I don't want to run the mandatory field rules and validation rules. As I understand, you can't submit a form with a submit button unless all the mandatory fields are completed.
Here's the requirement. I need to have two "submit" buttons. One checks all the mandatory field rules before submitting a "final" version of the form. The other button submits a "draft" version without the mandatory checks. I was hoping that the second button could be implemented as a normal command button with a script that executes server-side. Sure enough, it attempted to submit without checking the mandatory fields. Unfortunately I ran into other undesirable side-effects including a distressing "Security Warning" dialog box.

Security warning https setup IE 8.0 with Anychart 5 in APEX 4.0

We use Oracle Http server , the https setup is handled in the firewall setup, we use Apex 4.0
We try to use IE 8.0 with APEX 4.0 and using anychart in a report portal like application. We are using https protocol and this runs just fine in Firefox and Chrome, but when running IE 8.0 we run into the problem with displaying the content. We get the Security Warning message box asking if we want to display only the content that was delivered securly. We have traced the problem down to that the problem is because of using Anychart charts. When we remove the anychart regions the security problem is removed.
We have tried with setup of #HOST_PROTOCOL# to https which apex 4.0 have made available for anychart codebase, but this does not help, link to Anychart websiste
http://www.anychart.com/products/anychart/docs/users-guide/index.html?security-error.html is talking about setup of crossdomain.xml on the root catalog on the webserver.
Using Anychart 5.0 and APEX 4.0 with https in IE gives popup of Security Warning message box, any idea how we could solve this problem?

BTW: the select owa_util.get_cgi_env('REQUEST_PROTOCOL') from dual; returns http.
I changed the #HOST_PROTOCOL# in the region source, and then it worked well for the first time, if i took a refresh on the page the message box popped up again, going back to the region source the https was replaced with #HOST_PROTOCOL# again overwriting the changes i had made, it looks like the code is updated when the page is executed, sounds strange to me, so then i am back where i started.
The switch to https protocol was made by setting PlsqlCGIEnvironmentList REQUEST_PROTOCOL=https in dads.conf, BUT then we got back to the stage where the charts was not displaying at all and we have tride to setup crossdomain.xml and put at document root at apache but we have not been able to make this working.
We have a situation where it works and that is when https is put into region source code but this is overwritten.
The apache webserver is running on port 7777 and the https is handled in the firwall setup so i guess we have a reverse proxy setup or something like that.
Any idea why the #HOST_PROTOCOL# is overwritten?

Issue with IE Security Warning box about Flash Player

Recently upgraded to Flash Player 11.8 on a Win7 x64 system with IE9. Am now having a IE Security warning box pop up repeatedly saying Flasher Player wants to open Web Content. If I Allow, it is an endless loop with the warning box. If I Don't Allow, it eventually stops popping up after 3-4 times. Need to know if there is an issue with Flash Player or if there may be something else going on in my computer. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also, I am not a whiz, but manage.

You can either lower the security settings of Internet Explorer, or - easier - download the executable installer from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html
P.S. note that no browser windows must be open when running the installer.

Internet Security Warning on every Send/recieve

Hi Experts,
We are using self-signed certificate for our server and all the accounts are using POP3/TLS as their account setting. As expected whenever we open Outlook 2007, we get the Internet Security Warning, to which we answer YES and it works perfectly fine.
But from last few days, on one of the laptop the warning comes on every send/receive and everytime we try to send an email. I haven't changed anything on that laptop and all the settings are same on all the other laptops.
Any suggestions?

Please follow the instructions to remove the warning :
Log in as the administrator. Enter Password and Username when prompted into the corresponding fields in the login screen.
Launch the Start Menu by clicking on the
Start icon located on the bottom left corner of the Home Screen Taskbar.
Launch the Internet Explorer browser
application. To launch Internet Explorer browser, click on the label that reads the same, in the
Start Menu Pop. Alternately, you can launch it by clicking on
Internet Explorer browser the shortcut icon. The explorer browser can also be accessed by clicking on the Internet Explorer icon on the Quick Launch bar.
Select the label that reads Tools from the toolbar. From the submenu that drops down, select the
Internet Options option. This will launch the Internet Properties
window.
Microsoft Outlook 2007
From the internet options Window, select the tab that reads Content.
Select the Clear SSL State button under the label that reads
Use certificates to positively identify yourself, certification, authorities and publishers. You will be prompted with the confirmation box as soon as you hit the Clear SSL State. Hit the OK button to confirm your selection. Next, select the Advanced
Tab. (you will find the )
The advanced tab will list down all the Setting details of the browser. Hit the option that reads
Reset. Click on the Apply button after you are done with Resetting. Close all the programs and initiate system restart.
Re-launch the Microsoft Outlook application and check whether your system will receive any further error warnings regarding Outlook 2007 Internet Security. The above technique will fix your issues with Internet Security warnings.

When I navigate to Air Browser based Help on our secure server via HTTPS, I get the following message:
Security Warning
Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely?
This webpage contains content that will not be delivered using a secure HTTPS connection, which could compromise the security of thr entire webpage.
It seems like the Air components are trying to access something because if I access my Help pages directly, I don't get the warning. So...
Where is Air retreiveing external content, and how do I turn it off?

How do I turn off Security Warning?

I have a fillable pdf form that I created with Acrobat 9 and distribute via my website. The form has ‘more info’ links that point to informative html pages on my website. The problem is that clicking the ‘more info’ links pop up a Security Warning on the user's computer.
How do I turn off the Security Warning? My website IS safe! Do I need a security clearance from Adobe to turn off the Security Warning?

Nope. That's all on the users end and beyond your control.
They can allow it once and have it remember from there on out or they can add you to their trusted sites.
If you could bypass it on your end, there wouldn't be any reason to have that feature.

How to disable security warning "Your current security settings put your computer at risk"

I wonder if able to disable the security warning bar at the bottom of the IE window. I enabled the ActiveX control and plug-ins in the IE Option settings, this caused the security warning "Your current security settings put

That is not an option for Koreans...
In Korea, most of commercial, financial, or governmental operations need to be done on the Internet. In early 2000's, IE could not support high security outside US due to US laws (that was stupid, but happened) , so Korean sites developed cryptography ActiveX
controls to circumvent it. Korean government made laws to force all sites to use those kind of ActiveX controls at that time.
A decade has passed, and now the stupid US law has been repealed. But the cryptography ActiveX industry has become so strong (probably bribing the high officers in the government), that all Korean sites are still using those kind of ActiveX controls. And
you know, they require Windows and IE. Recently some sites started to support other browsers, but still the majority requires IE and ActiveX.
So, if you live in Korea, you have no choice but to use IE on Windows to get things done, and almost all sites popup ActiveX installation dialogues constantly. If you do not change the security settings, when you approve the installation, the whole site
refreshes. That is time-consuming and frustrating.
To keep my mental heath, I deal with all Korean sites in a virtual machine. To avoid the refresh problem, I have changed the security settings from "prompt" to "enable". The "Your security is at risk..." banner at the bottom
of IE is surely annoying. I hope Microsoft let us either remove that banner or remove the support of ActiveX controls altogether.

Security Warning for EVERY cap3 simulation

Hello - we have built a course to train a proprietary
software system...the course includes links to Cap3 simulations
that pop up in a separate window. There are nearly 24 separate
simulations and each time a user clicks to access a simulation they
get security warning that pops up first, it has been tested from
home and on the network....and is happening both places. Not sure
what we are doing wrong?

Have you tested this after sending to your users? Or are you
simply seeing it and thinking all others will too? Further, is this
the large gray Flash security warning? If so, what Kathy advised
won't apply to you.
Usually we only see the Flash security warning when running
the content locally. Once you place the content on a server, the
warning shouldn't appear any longer. But I'm not sure if or how
that would react when operating from a simple network server setup
where you might see drive letter E or F or I (as opposed to
HTTP:// something or other)
I've got a tutorial on Flash Settings manager. Assuming the
message is happening for everyone, the process outlined there would
need to be followed for each person experiencing the issue.

some code that would work for that. You would need to edit the HTML
page and insert this near the top of the page. Often I see it

Disable Security Warning

With Sun 1.6.0_10 and later a security warning is displayed when launching applets, launching a older Java Runtime version as defined in the security basline. Because of support reasons some of our web applications have to run with a specific older version, so the security message will pop up. This is very annoying for the people.
Is there any way to override the security baseline settings with a own one or to disable this kind of message?

How to disable IE Security Warning on opening a "local" visio file with Visio Viewer ActiveX?

Hello all,
Everyone knows that Microsoft released ActiveX based Visio Viewer for free and allow the users to open Visio drawing and view/print via IE browser.
The problem that I am facing is that some users are complaining about IE browser's security warning on "active content to run in files on My Computer".
It means that opening .VSD files from the network, internet, intranet would be all OK but if the user wants to open .VSD files from the local hard drive (or open it as a mail attachment, which will extract it to a temp folder), it prompt the user to select "Allow Blocked Content" EVERYTIME they open them.
I know that I can GLOBALLY disable this warning by going through Tools - Internet Options - Security section and enable "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer" but I hope that there is a way (or workaround) to allow them by file type or location, etc.
Questions:
1. Is there any way to disable those warning for all .VSD only while we still UNCHECK the option on Internet Options?
2. Is there any 3rd party Win32 based viewer which wouldn't have those restriction?
3. Is it safe assumption that McAfee VirusScan and Host IPS protection is sufficient enough to remove the IE's security warning feature?

Are you able to host/launch the VSD file via an HTM page? In that case you can format the HTM page as shown below. This will trick IE into thinking it is loading the file off of a website. Commonly called 'mark of the web'.

Importing fdf with js always get security warning

Hi, I have a form with some options (1 category as text with drop down and 5 radio button). The selection get the name of the fdf file to import. On import I get every time the security warning. I select the "Remember this action..." and I click "Allow". In the Settings/Security (Enhanced) the path and the file doesn't appear, so I set it manually, but I still get the security warning everytime. Files are stored locally in a different partion as the system. This happens on 2 machines (Mac 10.7, Mac10.8, Acrobat X, ACrobat XI, Reader XI).

Unfortunately i dont think its possible.
You'd think a deployment could restrict warnings for a local intranet, or have an exception list.
There was another answer i did see but i would not recommend this at all. Even the person who put the post up does not recommend it.

You have two options, do not have java 1.6 on the desktop as this is the version that brings up the security warning. Or you can try the new
application with java 1.6 (As long as all functionality is tested). This will satisfy your new app, but not the applications that run of the older
java runtime environments. (we are going to test the application under 1.6 even though its not a supported certification by the vendor.)
