See my iCloud usage

where can i see and edit my icloud usage?

To remove things from icloud:
Settings>icloud.  Turn off data storage for the listed apps by sliding switch to off.
Settings>icloud>Storage & Backups>Manage storage, tap the device of interest,  click Delete Backup.
To see how much memory is used by app data,  Settings>icloud>Storage & Backups, look in the Documents & Data section.

  • HT4489 Where do I see my calendar usage?

There's a maximum calendar entries of 25.000. I've got mutiple calendars with many enties and my iCloud gives some error messages. Where do I see my current usage?

    Thanks wuzradioman
So where and what is the dock?  if you drag it to trash does that just remove it from the list or remove the download from the computer?  Will everything on this list be things I have downloaded or will it also include things that came "from the factory".  I am just trying to clean things up, I am not sure what I have downloaded.  Does a Mac need to have a adobe reader downloaded?
    Thanks and hit them straight.

  • That's great I can see my iCloud calendar in Outlook, but can't see my Outlook calendar in iCloud???

That's great I can see my iCloud calendar in Outlook, but I can't see my Outlook calendar in iCloud.
Any ideas on this one? I don't want to copy the calendar into iCloud, because they wouldn't be in sync. How do I view my Outlook calendar in iCloud so that I can make changes in either place?

I have good news!!  I was waiting until I had adequate time to try this recommended fix in case I had any problems with it.  Then I decided to enter a new event in my Calender even tho it was showing "No Calenders".  As soon as I entered the new event my whole Calender came back!  Yeeaaa!  I hope this helps someone with the same problem.

  • How can I see my iCloud content?

How can I see my iCloud content?

You can't see items contained in an iCloud backup, you can only restore it to your device.  (The apps are actually redownloaded from the App store when you restore that backup.)
Did you restore her iCloud backup to her new phone?

  • I am running OS X 10.5.8 and don't see an iCloud icon in my system preferences.  I do see a Mobileme icon but I would like to have all my mac devices on iCloud.  How can I get iCloud on my desktop?

I am running OS X 10.5.8 and don't see an iCloud icon in my system preferences.  I do see a Mobileme icon but I would like to have all my mac devices on iCloud.  How can I get iCloud on my desktop?

iCloud requires 10.7.2 or later. See the following about how to upgrade:
Upgrade Paths to Snow Leopard, Lion, and/or Mountain Lion
You can upgrade to Mountain Lion from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mountain Lion can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for $19.99. To access the App Store you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or later installed.
    Upgrading to Snow Leopard
You can purchase Snow Leopard through the Apple Store: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard - Apple Store (U.S.). The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will be sent physical media by mail after placing your order.
After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store. Access to the App Store enables you to download Mountain Lion if your computer meets the requirements.
         Snow Leopard General Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel processor
           2. 1GB of memory
           3. 5GB of available disk space
           4. DVD drive for installation
           5. Some features require a compatible Internet service provider;
               fees may apply.
           6. Some features require Apple’s iCloud services; fees and
               terms apply.
    Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mountain Lion, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax.  It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.
         Lion System Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7,
               or Xeon processor
           2. 2GB of memory
           3. OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
           4. 7GB of available space
           5. Some features require an Apple ID; terms apply.
    Upgrading to Mountain Lion
To upgrade to Mountain Lion you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Purchase and download Mountain Lion from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. Mountain Lion is $19.99 plus tax. The file is quite large, over 4 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.
OS X Mountain Lion - System Requirements
Macs that can be upgraded to OS X Mountain Lion
             1. iMac (Mid 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 7,1 or later
             2. MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 5,1 or later
             3. MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             4. MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 2,1 or later
             5. Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             6. Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             7. Xserve (Early 2009) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
To find the model identifier open System Profiler in the Utilities folder. It's displayed in the panel on the right.
    Are my applications compatible?
See App Compatibility Table - RoaringApps.
For a complete How-To introduction from Apple see Upgrade to OS X Mountain Lion.

  • Problem-Solution: Help! I'm seeing my iCloud account two or more times in Notes and Contacts!

Problem: Help! I’m seeing my iCloud account two or more times in Notes and Contacts!
    Solution:
    Open [System Preferences] >
    Open [iCloud] >
Uncheck [Contacts] for each duplicate iCloud you see in Contacts. ex. My iCloud Account is listed three times = uncheck Contacts twice. The checkbox next to Contacts will fill back in again automatically.
Uncheck [Notes] for each duplicate iCloud account you see in Notes. (same instructions for Contacts; repeat the steps for each duplicate account)
    Why is this happening?
It has to do with iCloud Keychain. If you set up iCloud keychain on more than one Mac, it appears to duplicate the iCloud account in each respective application once per Mac. (ex. 2 Macs = 1 Duplicate). The good news is that the above fix appears to be permanent and does not reoccur.

    Minor addition:
I’m setting up a new Mac—how can I avoid this?
Turn on iCloud in System Preferences (SP)
When asked if you wish to set up Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Find my Mac, et al., uncheck all boxes, and click Next.
Check the “Keychain” box first, then check all other boxes except Contacts and Notes.
Within a few minutes, these boxes will check themselves.

  • Why can't I see the iCloud bookmark button in Safari 6?

This sounds like an excellent feature (and loads of people seem to have reviewed it favourably as a key feature of Mountain Lion/Safari 6 - and might just make me go back to Safari from Firefox - but where is it? Am I being really stupid? I can't even see it as an option in customise toolbar options. Or is it not actually coming until iOS 6?

See:  Using iCloud tabs on your Mac >   iCloud: Using and troubleshooting iCloud Tabs
Not stupid...   it takes time to learn all the new updates features with Safari 6.

  • Is it possible to see the iCloud Drive folder from my iPhone?

    Hello,
Is it possible to see the iCloud drive folder on iOS 8 just as it is in iCloud and my Mac?
Lets say something like the following:
    ios-8-icloud-drive.png

Well you can consider this as well:
Considering or moving right now to iCloud Drive? Please check the following facts to avoid my terrible experience:
First of all it is not as easy as Apple Says: "Store your files in iCloud and access all them anytime on all your devices" - Lies.
    1) There is no standalone app for iCloud drive on iOS so you will not be able to access all your files from your iDevices only the ones you created with iWork.
    2) Even if you upgrade your space to 1 or 2 TB you will have storage limitation because you can upload what you Mac can storage, in a few words it is a mirror not an online hards disk.
    3) NO photos nor  videos in  iCloud, it doesn't matter how space you get you will not have access to them on the web, and not date has been confirmed for this promised feature.
    4) You will get many dumb folders in the iCloud drive even dumb iWork copies of your documents.
    5) Many unexpected errors will be waiting for your data, like the one I got when all my local copies of all my files ( any type) just disappeared and got a simple icon with the message Not Downloaded like if there were not before in the Mac. Apple open a ticket for this issue after many hours int he phone.
    6) Apple support is not well trained to handle issues related to the new services like this, you can call and ask simple questions and will be on hold a lot of time to while they figure out what to tell you. Try it.
    7) At the end you will cancel the service and go back to your previos cloud service ( just like me with Dropbox) and uploading all your files to it.
    8) If need more reasons just let me know and I will give you more to convince you that iCloud Drive will "drive you mad".

  • I can't see my icloud files

    Hi,
I get a Macbook Air and I have keynote and pages. I' m using my iCloud credentials, but i can't access to my files on iCloud.
When I access through my iPad or my mac mini, I do can see and access to my keynotes, pages and numbers through the apps (both, ipad and mac)
but when I try to do the same on my macbook air, I can't see my iCloud files. And I can't upload new files either on my macbook air.
My macbook air has OS X 10.9.4
    My Keynote 6.2 (1861)
    Pages 5.2 (1860)
On my iCloud settings everything is ok, see my attachment.
I hope you can help me, it's really hard to work this way
    thanks

I do not use iCloud and would never recommend doing so, least of all its impressive ability to lose files.
I suggest using Dropbox, there are many other file transfer applications that do an equal job,  but all my clients use Dropbox and we have never had issues sending and receiving files.

  • I do not see the iCloud Drive icon when I try to activate it on my iPad through iCloud. iOS 8.1

I want to activate iCloud Drive on my iPad. So, as mentioned in Apple Support Document I went gone to Settings >iCloud> and signed in to my Apple Id. However, I do not see the iCloud icon there to activate it. The same problem with my iPhone.
(I had opted not to activate iCloud Drive when I first installed iOS8).
I have iPad 3 and iPhone 5 with the latest version of iOS 8 installed on both. My iMac (OS X Yosemite) has iCloud Drive activated and it works fine.
    Could anyone help me please?
    Regards,
    Kaustuv

I think the feature has been disabled by the Enterprise Software installed on the devices (I use both devices for my work). I will reconfirm it though.
    Regards,

i can not see my icloud in system preferences

You must be running Lion inorder to get the iCloud preference pane:
    Minimum operating system requirements
You may also use iCloud with the following operating system versions:
    iPhone, iPad, iPod touch
    iOS 5*
    Mac
OS X Lion v10.7.5 or later*
    PC
Microsoft Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)
    * Note: Although you can use iOS 5 and OS X Lion as noted above, you will not be able to take advantage of some iCloud features, such as Shared Photo Streams, iCloud Tabs, Find My iPhone Lost Mode, Documents in the Cloud for iWork, and Find My Friends location-based alerts.
The above is from this Apple document: iCloud: System requirements

I do not see the icloud icon in my settings.  How do I restore or load it?

I do not see how you could not have iCloud in the settings if you are running iOS 5 or higher. If you are running iOS 6, it should be directly below the Privacy Setting.
