Seeburger - Mapping - Classifier Module

Within the Sender communication channel I am specifying
classifierMappingID = MVVM
The error log on the communication channel says it is trying to load map XML_MVVM
Where is the XML_coming from within the BIC MD I have AnsiX12_MVVM (which is what i want it to use)
I have looked at various threads including
Seeburger problem for Custom Mappings..!!!  ( but this refers to EDIFACT not ANSIX12)
All I would like to know is how to get rid of the XML and replace with AnsiX12
Many Thanks
M

Hi Guys,
Am working on testing the file however for the parameters as mentioned  (see my answers in brackets)
Module key = bic (key which you have used for module "localejbs/CallBicXIRaBean")
Parameter Name = classifierAttID
Parameter value = classifierAtt (I am using ClassifierAddInfo instead)
this will show an additonal attachement for message processing in the sxmb_moni as "classifierAtt" .here you can confirm how the Classifier identifies your file as "XML" or "AnsiX12".
If classifier recognizes your file as "XML" but not as "AnsiX12" , then there must be some issues with input file format.
along with it -
Module key = bic (key which you have used for module "localejbs/CallBicXIRaBean")
Parameter Name = logAttID
Parameter value = ConverterLog (I am using this as you suggest)
It will show you the attachement for message processing in the sxmb_moni as "ConverterLog" , which discribes all the steps including what indivisual mapping are being called within BIC (850, 860....)
( The message is not getting to Moni - it is in fact failing in the Seeburger Monitor with error - cannot initiate received message to backend system)
Thanks
Mark

  • Seeburger IDOC-to-File scenario: Error using Classifier module

    Hello,
    I am running the following scenario: ORDERS.ORDERS05 IDOC -> XI -> X12 850 4010 File.
In the file receiver channel, I am using Seeburger's Classifier and BIC modules as follows:
    localejbs/SeeClassifier        classifier
    localejbs/CallBicXIRaBean      bic
    CallSapAdapter                 0
    classifier   attID             classifierAtt
    classifier   destSourceMsg     MainDocument
    classifier   showInAuditLog    true
    bic          classifierAttID   classifierAtt
    bic          destEncoding      UTF8
    bic          destSourceMsg     MainDocument
    bic          destTargetMsg     MainDocument
    bic          mappingName       AUTO
    bic          newLine           true
    bic          srcEncoding       UTF8
After conversion in XI, the file fails to write to the folder because of this error:
Message processing failed. Cause: javax.resource.ResourceException: ---
Conversion of synchronous request from module chain ended with errors
---Error: [Error:ID=1010;LEVEL=1] BICMapping runMapping() The mapping:

BICMapping Error: The mapping [not specified] you are trying to load cannot
be found in the right path! Maybe you forgot to compile or to activate the
    mapping!
When I set the mapping directly to See_X2E_AnsiX12_850_V4010 instead of using the Classifier module, the configuration works fine.  But I want to design the receiver channel to be able to receive all types of EDI messages coming from XI.
I am only facing this problem for the IDOC-to-File scenario.  Somehow the same configuration works for a File-to-IDOC scenario.
I talked to our Basis team and they said that the map See_XML_AnsiX12 does not exist in Seeburger's delivered content, although I believe that it should be.  Has anyone encountered this problem before?
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks,

  • Regarding Seeburger Classifier Module

    Dear Expert,
I am using Seeburger EDI Adapter to handle EDI plain file into SAP XI. As I just want to use the Seeburger build-in mappings start with "See_", I did not set the parameter classifierMappingID of Seeburger Classifier Module, but always get the output of Seeburger Functional Acknowlegement. How can I set the parameters to use the build-in mappings like "See_E2X_ANSIX12_810_V4010"?
Any suggestion or idea are appreciated!
    Thanks and Regards,
    Nick

    Hi Nick,
you need to choose if you want to use classifier or predefined mapping name. The purpose of classifier is to classify your message (exp. ANSI 12, EDIFACT etc.) and than to find the mapping specified in Seeburger Message splitter (from http://<XI Host>:<J2EE port>/seeburger/index.html -> Message splitter).
In Message splitter you need to choose you sender agreement from XI, Mapping name and sender number (for ANSIX12 it's the value of ISA06 from inbound ANSI message).
    Please check Seeburger manual SAPXI_FunctionalAck_en.pdf.
If you need your communication channel to process only ANSIX12_810_V4010 messages than you don't need classifier and you can hardcoded parameter mapping name "See_E2X_ANSIX12_810_V4010".

  • Error Seeburger Mapping Designer

    Hi Experts.
I have an Scenario file to file and I try to convert an ANSIX12 document from EDI to XML with the Seeburger BIC, but I have an error:
    - Conversion of synchronous request from module chain ended with errors ---Error: [Error:ID=2023;LEVEL=1] InhouseDocReader readNextSegment(): offset[1085(read Segment : )]: caught ReadingException: Length limit exceeded - no SEG. delim. found!!!, Trace:
I check the "setIgnoreCRLF" in the "Source Options", and the the mapping works on Seeburguer, but when I deploy the mapping to PI, I have the same error, on the deploy, the map not recognize the "setIgnoreCRLF" within PI.
    Anybody Help me?
Edited by: Luis Ortiz on Jul 17, 2009 12:36 PM

    HI,
You have two option to reslove this error ...
1)If you are called BIC module with Mapping Name is Auto then you need to call the Classifier module in Communcation Channel.
2)you just call the BIC module with Mapping Name is "your mapping name not Auto option "what u deployed in PI server.

  • Documentation of the Classifier module

    Hi,
I use the classifier module from Seeburger on XI with File Adapter from SAP XI, but on the documentation, don't tell me about the standard name of the map, and I prove different names. If I use the classifierMappingID variable, the error "The mapping: AnsiX12_mappingID you are trying to load cannot be found in the classpath! Maybe you forgot to compile or to activate the mapping", where the mappingID is the value of the variable classifierMappingID on the module sequence. If I don't set this variable, the process is succesfull, but the classifier don't execute any map, only generate the Functional Aknowledgement with "R" status.
How I can know the name that must be used in the map, if it does not come mentioned in the documentation?, I can review some file of Seeburger or will have some document with this information?.
For example, a standard name, ANSIX12_<document>_<version>, to the classifier execute the correct map.
    I thank for its aid.
    Best regards,
    Hervey.

    Hi Hervey,
see my post to your last thread from Feb. 17th Classifier, BIC and MessageSplitter with Seeburger
That should help you a bit further.
I also suggest that you read the documentation from Seeburger for
    SAPXI_BICMD_config_en.pdf
    SAPXI_BICAdapter_Setup_en.pdf
    SAPXI_BICAdapter_en.pdf
that will explain how you will know the names for the 1:1 and classifier mappings.
If you are using a document for which Seeburger does not already provide a 1:1 mapping, you will have to create it first, otherwise the Classifier Mapping will error out because it can not find the mapping.
Seeburger is able to provide you with remote help if you can't get any further. This won't be for free, but will get you setup much faster than try and error.
You can contact their north american office at 770 904 3888

    Andrea

  • Character encoding in Seeburger mapping

    Hello all,
In my EDI project, i use Seebruger EDI Adapter.
We have discover a problem when you use french character has é, è, à, etc... In fact, Seeburger see the "é" has A@A, it convert the letter so when we arrive in the bic mapping of seeburger it crash down because for him, the field is too long.
    exemple :
Field 1 after integration engine (limit on 4 characters in bic mapping) : éert
Field 1 interpreted by seeburger : A@Aert => so we are above the authorized limit.
I know that we send message in UTF-8 but i am a little bit surprise that Seeburgerr doesn't read UTF-8.
Is someone has an idea ?
    Regards,
    JP

    Hi,
Well, you could use a JavaMapping logic to correct that, but if you want it to do it with seeburger tools for that cases you need to use the module ReplaceString in seeburger:
In the "Module" option of the channel, you have 2 parameters, "Processing Sequence" and "Module Configuration"
There you need to do the following:
    Processing Sequence:
    Module name: localejbs/Seeburger/ReplaceString
    Module Type: Local Enterprise Bean
Module Key: 1 <= key for calling that sequence
    Module Configuration:
    Module Key: 1
    Parameter Name: searchString
Parameter Value: "à" <= search value
    Module Key: 1
    Parameter Name: replaceString
Parameter Value: "a" <= replace with
You would need to do that for every character you have, when you save the order would probably change leaving replace first instead of search, but i'll work anyway, that doesn't affect anything
    Hope you find that helpful,
    Regards,

  • How to debug mapping function module during delta extraction?

    Hi experts,
Somehow our delta is not working properly, and i would like to debug our mapping function module. How can i debug it during a delta extraction?
    Some info:
Our source system is CRM and our extractor is extracting one order document (contracts in this case). I know that when we modify a contract, a bdoc is generated and then passed throught the mapping function then the extracted data to the delta queue. I just need to debug when the bdoc is being mapped to see what's wrong with the extracted data.
    Thanks in advance,
    Van

    Hi,
Since you are using a Function Module for the Extraction. Edit the Function Module and give "BREAK-POINT" before the loop command. Check and activate the Function Module.
Now Extract the datasource using RSA3. Now you can debug it. After checking remove the "BREAK-POINT" from the function module. Also Check and activate the same.

  • Seeburger mapping licence fee in PI 7.1

while using Seeburger mapping is there licence fee required to pay or it is free in  PI 7.1

If no discount is given, you pay 75K. Depending on discount you might endup paying 18K(for 75% discount), 45K (for 40% discount).
There is genrally a maintaince fee(that applies in general for any software product. As such SAP products also have this fee) & is generally 20% or 30% of the price at which it is bought. So annually you might pay 6K (30% of 18K) for ongoing support/ newer patches of the product.
As you might be aware that XI is license is Volume based, so are seeburger adapters.

  • How to... fetch SeeBurger Mapping Variables from a BPM

    Hi,
I am currently having a problem in fetching some values on the Seeburger Mapping Variables from an BPM. What I currently do is the normal way of fetching the value using an UDF in my message mapping: below is the sample code that I did on my function:
    import seeburger.functions.permstore.impl.;com.seeburger.functions.permstore.;
    try {
       VariableBeanServlet vbs;
       vbs = (VariableBeanServlet)VariableFactory.getVariableInstance(VariableFactory.PROPERTY_CLASSNAME_DEFAULT);
       return  vbs.getStringVariable(a);
    }catch(PermstoreException e){
       return "";
did i missed something on my code?
    best regards,
    mike

The values are written on the Seeburger --> MappingVariables under Variables section. These has been predefined by me beforehand. I've checked the code without passing thru the BPM and it works but when it was used with the BPM the values doesn't turn up..
    best regards,
    Mike

  • Seeburger Mapping See_E2X_ORDERS_UN_D96A

    Hello,
I was using See_E2X_ORDERS_UN_D96A mapping in our scenario but then we had a problem with special characters where the message used to fail at Seeburger level whenever it contained Special characters(Russian)
Then I created my own mapping E2X_ORDERS_UN_D96A where I set an option  setDestinationEncoding= UTF-8.
Now,message is not failing at Seeburger, but I cant see any special characters.
I cannot see the original file sent by the partner ,but looking at the result available in XI message ,I believe ,Seeburger mapping is cutting down these special characters, they are not even reaching XI.
    Has anybody observed this behavior?
Is there any way,I can get special characters in XI?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Shweta

    Hello,
In the worst case, if we assume that Seeburger deletes these special characters ,the problem gets severe when we receive data as:
    ABCXYZ hvcdjjfvhgfvfdvjfgvb НАУШН/ПРОВОД СЕРБР:ATLANTA SEEBURGER123
in such cases,it produces output as:
    ABCXYZ hvcdjjfvhgfvfdvjfgvb НАATLANTA SEEBURGER123
i.e.It deletes : which separates two fields along with special characters like СЕРБР
Now,this field can have a specified maximum length, but as it is merging next field as well (ATLANTA SEEBURGER123)
length goes beyond maximum value and it fails at Seeburger even though they are sending data of correct length
We need to handle this somehow .
    Kindly suggest.
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Shweta

  • Converter Error in Seeburger Mapping Designer

    Hi,
I try to convert an ANSIX12 document from EDI to XML with the Seeburger Mapping Designer, but I have an error:

If I check the "setIgnoreCRLF" in the "Source Options", the mapping works, but when I deploy the mapping to XI, I have the same error, on the deploy, the map not recognize the "setIgnoreCRLF" within XI.
How can I deploy this check to XI or how I do to mapping ignore the CRLF without the "Source Options"??
    Greetings,

    Hi,
I am also facing same problem.
How did you corrected your  file.
Do I need to redeploy my mapping on PI

    Hi,
These are the few naming conventions that will be followed while doing mapping in SEEBURGER BIC mapping designer.Let me know if they help u in any way..
    ADOPTED NAMING CONVENTIONS
    1 - For Application Rules:
    DOCUMENT_APLLICATION_DIRECTION_DATA (FILE EXTENSION FOR REFERENCE)
    Length for each:
Document = 3     Samples of:  PUR, POC, POA, ASN, TXT
Application = 4   Samples of:  RECL, SOMS, HRMS, CORP, COMS, CONT
      Direction = 1       Samples of:  I or  O
Data = 3              Samples of: DAT, XML, RPT
NOTE:  Since spaces are not allowed in the names,  ‘S’  will be used as filler .
    Sample Application Naming:
    For 824 for Banking doc   – TXT_CORP_I_RPT
    2 - For Project Rules:
We decided that we would group these by related documents.  Ex. All PO’s would be together.
    Following are the Project definitions:
    ORDERS (PURCHASING) = 850, 880
BANKING = 820, 824 (Related to the banking 820 only)
    TRANSPORTATION = 404, 858, 856, 940, 945, 990, ..

  • Seeburger Mapping Name for ORDERS EANCOM D01B format

    Hi Experts,
Can anyone please let me know the Seeburger mapping name for ORDERS_EANCOM_D01B format.
See_E2X_ORDERS_EANCOM_D01B doesn't seem to be working.
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Shweta

Log on tothe physical system of the XI system, go to the Seeburger folder(Usually found in the D Drive).
    Something like D:/Seeburger/HT/EDI Message Catalog/
Then look into the Folder corresponding to your EDI Standard/Message/Version combination.
YOu will find 3 files in the folder.
In that you will find a file name starting with msg_<XXXXXX>
YOu can get an Idea of the Mapping name because the mapping name would then be See_E2X_<XXXXXX>

  • Seeburger mapping name required for ASN

    Hi
I am trying to use the Seeburger AS2 adapter to send ASN (Advance shipping notification) to our partners.
The format of the EDI file is EANCOM2002. I want the standard Seeburger mapping name which will convert from xml to EDI EANCOM2002 format for ASN message.
    Thanks in advance.

If you are expecting the naming conventions for SEEBURGER Mapping (BIC Mapping designer) here are few .Let me know if they are useful.

  • Help...PC User, LR 5 Map & Web Modules won't load

PC DESKTOP User, Windows 7, LR5 Upgrade (did the same problem in LR4), Internet connection is fine.
Map & Web Modules won't load on main screen. Based on what I could find in the forums it looked similar to a MAC OS issue with Flash. SO...I updated Flash and it seemed to work fine. A few days later...problem was back. I re-installed Flash again. Fixed. Upgraded to LR5...worked ok. A few days later...problem was back. Reinstalled again...worked ok. Now problem back again.
Web Mod. - I can see the templates in Web, but nothing will load. When I select layout styles I either get a gray screen or a "gallery not found" message.
Map Mod. - No map comes up. Sometimes the MetaData panel will load, but it's empty like it's not seeing the photos. Sometimes the whole panel is blank.
(Side note: all of this works fine on my Laptop.)
    Help!!!

    Hi,
    Try repairing permissions.
Launch Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac. If you see a long list of "messages" in the permissions window, it's ok. As long as you see, "Permissions Repair Complete" when it's finished... you're done.
If you see any warnings re: SUID messages, they can be safely ignored, information here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1448?viewlocale=en_US

Restart your Mac. If that didn't help, go to Safari / Preferences - Autofill. Make sure *User names and passwords* is selected. Now open Keychain Access. (Applications/Utilities). Select Passwords on the left. Delete all keychains related to the sites you have problems logging in.
Relaunch Safari and try those sites. You should be prompted to save the login data to a new keychain. If that didn't help, login to another user account. Launch Safari. If you see the same problems there, then log back into your admin account, launch Disk Utility. Select MacintosHD in the panel on the left then select the FirstAid tab.
If Disk Utility reports, you will have to boot from your install disc to make repairs, instructions here.
Using Disk Utility to verify or repair disks
