Select and download, print or copy ac help
This is what I am trying to do:
- Have a series of images, all saved in the png format
- Allow a user to select one of this images within the flash movie
- Once the image is selected, there will be three buttons at the top of page, a copy image button, print image button and a download image button
I need help with the actionscript that would allow you to:
- Select the image
- Download selected image (in png format)
- Copy selected image (in png format)
- Pring selected image
Can you give me a code example?
Use the following informaiton please:
- Lets say there are 10 images, all in the png format loaded into flash. All 10 pictures are put onto one page
- Q: Do these pictures/buttons need an instance name, and if so do they all need different names
- Q: What format should i make these pictures, movie clip or button
- When one of the pictures is clicked, a box needs to form around it, only one picture at a time can be clicked
- Above these pictrues are three buttons
- One of the buttons when clicked needs to download the selected image in the same format it was uploaded into flash (png)
- Another button when clicked needs to print the selected image
- The thrid button when clicked needs to copy the image in the same format it was uploaded into flash (png)
- If needed I can have a file containing all of the pictures in the png format included with the flash movie, all pictures have different names
Please post the code, and tell what it goes on and that stuff.

Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer? If so you can only use the manual method and that only works with music and videos.

Where can I buy and download a legal copy of Audition 3.01?
I can't find it on this Adobe site. Everthing I search on this site, or get sent to from a google search, sends me to the new CS5.5 or whatever new software. I don't want all that, and too many functions have been discontinued. I just want audio, having used CooEdit Pro and other Audition versions with previous computers. I'm now returning to audio work. I can't find anything about buying v. 3 here. On google searches, I find plenty of places that claim to be selling 3, but I doubt the legitimacy of them. They're weird sites trying to shove other software at me. Amazon says v. 3 is no longer in stock. Can someone tell me where I can legimately buy and download 3--and get any updates? I have Vista 32 and meet the system requirements for 3. Thanks.

Installing network printer and downloaded print drivers aren't recognized.
I downloaded drivers for the Canon ImagePRESS C1 and they seem to install just fine. However, when I install the network printer the driver is not listed anywhere. Even when I choose "Other" and point to the device folder the files are greyed out, and I can't select the driver. I've tried updates and resetting the print system an still no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
drh08There are three printer options (at least here in Oz there is) available for the imagePRESS C1. There is the internal Canon printer board and two external print controllers - the imagePASS-T1 and the imagePRESS-Q1, which is what we have connected to our C1. Each of these print controllers have different drivers so you need to determine which one you have first. If you are not sure, then check with someone or have a look at the C1. If it has a white metal box hanging on the back of the copier with some network cables, then you have the T1. If there is a PC case connected to the copier then you have the Q1. If the network cable connects from the wall straight to a network card on the back left side of the machine, then you have the internal Canon board.
For the two imagePASS controllers, you can download the driver from the print controller, by opening its internal web page (type the copiers IP address into your web browser to access). These queues for these drivers are added via IP > HP Jetdirect-Socket and you should find the driver by searching for either T1 or C1 in the Print using menu.
If you have the Canon board, then how you create the printer queue depends on which driver you have downloaded. Could you tell me the driver name and version so I can explain the method of adding the printer queue.

Why can't I download my new program---first it asks for my adobe ID--which I give it and then it says not recognized--so I try and try and try again--changing the password--then it asks for a serial number and gives me 24 spaces--but the serial number has 30 spaces--why haven't adobe--as big as they are not got decent help.

AE and USB Print / Scan / Copy with HP PSC-2410
My Airport Express finds my HP printer immediately upon plugging the printer into the AE USB port. Printing to it from various macs around the house has been wonderful...but...In order to use the HP's other functions, such as scanning and copying, it seems that the printer must be directly connected to a mac in order for these functions to work.
Another poster said that he could not check his ink levels on an Epson printer through an AE USB connection, but could once he directly connected the printer to his Mac.
It seems that the AE will only act as a print server and will not allow for any other features to be shared.
Anyone else find this to be the case? Is there a fix? It is a pain to have to unplug from the AE and plug into the Mac every time I want to scan something.

That is true. The USB port on the AirPort Express suppports only printing.

That is also true. Those utilities depend on a direct USB connection to the printer. See KB 107430, AirPort Extreme, AirPort Express: Can't use USB printer utilities while printer sharing.

Lost connection between Power Book G4 and Brother Printer/Fax. Need help.
I am a new Mac user and until recently had a successful wireless connection to the Brother printer/fax. Address # 192.168.1.100 While printing a job I ran out of ink. I turned the printer off to replace the cartridge and lost the connection to the wireless powerbook. The printer works because it prints jobs from the PC that it is connected to by wire. So far I have clicked on "system preferences", clicked print and fax, Clicked + ato add printer and put the address in. Nothing is working. The message says, cannot connect to printer. I need serious, detailed help. My husband connects everything and gets it running and he just left for Iraq! Thanks so much!!
Hello! In the printer setup utility choose "show Jobs" and see if you can click on "start jobs". It's probably gotten stuck because it ran out of ink. Tom

I open Frefx and a small icon of homepage shows above taskbar at bottom of Win7. But I cannot open a full page or use Firefox. I tried uninstalling then installing newest version, but this did not solve the problem. Have had to go back to IE

I am receiving error 50 message when I try to download movie and download stops. Can anyone help?
Ipod Touch is receiving Error 50 message when trying to download movie. The download stops and is unsucessful. Followed techs instructions and deleted .tmp file from computer/cdrive/users/"computer name"/mymusic/itunes/media/downloads but same error keeps returning.

Uninstalling and reloading the flash player plugin has not solved the problem. As soon as I "click to play" the video begins then Flash Player crashes
Hi X-Calibar, thanks for your comments. Yes, there are 4 zones under Internet Options and security settings. IE9 from what I have read has more security features than IE7/IE8 had. It appears this Server verification involves status of the Certificate that the website has as well as the Server that is using it. From what I've read on the IE9 sites, Microsoft states that if any HTTP sites are in the Trusted Zone, that the Server Verification is to be UNchecked.
When you go to add a site to the Trusted Sites zone, it by default only accepts HTTPS sites.
I would think that would only be if you had the SV box checked, that's what I find with IE8.

I think you and I may be saying the same thing, just in a different way:-) Not using IE9, I don't know how all of the new features work. My concern is mainly limited to any feature that conflicts or effects Flash Player. Just as the ActiveX Filtering. That certainly effects Flash Player, so that is on my radar:-)
