Sender Soap scenario HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found error

Hello All,
I created SOAP to IDOC scenario, generated the WSDL file from Sender agreement and while testing the interface using SOAPUI tool iam getting HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found error.
i gave login authorization details in the SOAPUI tool.
Update: when i generated the WSDL file from sender agrement, in the URL the port number was 443.
when i check the port numer in SMICM transaction it show 50000.
Now when i test with port numer 443 iam getting Connction refused error.

The application is running on localhost in a local network, so for accesing internet we're using a proxy. For this we tried to set up the proxy configuration and still the same error. We've also unplugged the network cable but it didn't help.
We've done all the neccesary settings and we're using "org.bouncycastle.jce.provider.BouncyCastleProvider " as a JCE provider.

Just a guess, but if this is a secure web service shouldn't you be trying to connect to it using SSL? e.g.
https://localhost:443/securesimple/Ping
Have you tried hitting the web service via your browser and appending the ?WSDL to the URL
http://localhost:8080/securesimple/Ping?WSDL
https://localhost:443/securesimple/Ping?WSDL
Can you telnet to http://localhost:8080

HTTP 404 Not Found Error in Process Control Mail

Hi All,
I am working on version 9.3.3
I have setup e-mail alerts through a SMTP server.
When I am going on Process control and starting the cycle OR promoting to any level, I am getting a Minimized window showing HTTP 404 Not Found error and Mail is not going.
Whereas My ICP mail alerts are working fine
Please suggest something to resolve.

We are installing NW7.0 PI with local SLD as HA system with virtual name and after patching it up to SPS17 we started Configuration wizard
PI_00_This wizard will execute Postinstall steps of technical configuration for the PI Usage
and on step 33/142 Configure the Integration server for sld we got an error:

Configuration is done by the Post-Installation Guide - SLD of SAP NetWeaver 7.0 , but there is still same error.
It seems, that point is in CPA Cache full refresh, because in SLD Java system on app.server still shows his patchlevel 9 not 17 .
CPA Cache refresh gives an error:
The XML page cannot be displayed

I am getting the below error while doing Scenario JDBC to ABAP Proxy.
Transmitting the message to endpoint http://XXXXXXXX:50000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry using connection AFW failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Received HTTP response code 404 : Not Found.
Can any body tell me:
1. Ideally what should be the port if it is an error due to Port?
2. I am not able to see the messages in SXMB_MONI?
3. What is the Flow of my message in the above mentioned Scenario I mean to say from which Engine to which engine?

I have checked in
1. SMICM there is HTTP Service port 8XXX
2. SLD - PI Business System - Pipeline URL is "http://XXXXXXXX:50000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry"
3. In SXMB_ADM - Corresponding Integ. Server = "http://XXXXXXXX:50000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry"
Now tell me is these entries are Ideal??
Also is thr any place where I need to check for Port and URL??

Received HTTP response code 404 : Not Found

I am attempting to pass a file through XI into an IDoc to ECC. I have tested the mapping, and that works fine. I have also tested the configuration in the integration builder and it seems to be fine. However, when the file is picked up by XI from the directory, processed by XI, and then sent to ECC, an error occurs in the runtime workbench:
Transmitting the message to endpoint http://server:port/sap/xi/engine?type=entry using connection AFW failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Received HTTP response code 404 : Not Found.
The error leads me to believe that the system cannot be found, or there is a privelage issue with the service user attempting to log onto ECC. However I believe I have set up the RFC connection correctly, and the service user should be fine.
Does anyone know what may be causing this? I am using the IDoc adapter for the reciever communication channel. I have set the RFC destination (and tested it in SM59, works fine) and the port (I assume this is the port in WE21?). Not sure where to look...

I am trying to understand what this means. Can anyone explain to me why the message is getting sent to this address? I assume that the AFW is coming into play because I am using the IDoc adapter, hence the adapter framework. Is this true? Should the AFW be showing up, or do you think there is another issue?
Mainly I want to know if this is more of a basis issue, or a configuration problem with the interface in XI?

HTTP Connection to R/3 System error- HTTP/1.0 404 Not found

I am using a HTTP connection to XI to extract data from R3 to XI. The HTTP connection I have created in R3 are getting an error - "HTTP/1.0 404 Not found" while testing the connection.
Porperty maintained in the connection:
Terget host = <XI server address>
Service No = 8000
Path Prefix = /sap/xi/engine/adapter_plain?
The exchange profile in XI (PI 7.0) system is as follows:
com.sap.aii.connect.integrationserver.r3.httpport = 8000
HTTP port is set as 8000 in SMICM services.
The same type of connection is working fine in the lower PI and R3 environment but failing on productive system.

Well... you are trying to configure a HTTP RFC destination in SM59, aren't you?
Dont worry about that. It is just a warning. Click on return or space bar after typing path prefix.
Then save and test the connection.

Connect to B1i server failed - HTTP/1.1 404 not found

I currently have B1 8.8 PL14 installed and in the process of installing B1i when I get to Step 3/5: Configure B1i Parameters and select Test Connection I get the error message 'Connect to B1i server failed - HTTP/1.1 404 not found'. I have followed. I have undertaken the installation as per the recorded session by Benno Eberte and regrettably I cannot set a successful connection.
Can anyone assist?

Can you connect to your B1i System and have a look for the SLD, there should be a system that points to your company database. If there is a system definition that points to B1if then go further. Check the B1if connection, please take the B1DI connection test, is there a message like
com.sap.b1i.adapter.dia.exception.ConnectionFailedException: Connect to Business One failed.
(-8012) Company version mismatch
{b1Server=..., company=B1if, licenseServer=..., dbType=..., dbUser=..., userName=...}
In case this message comes up and you see B1if then the JCO configuration went wrong and that part is defined in the beginning of the installation.

HTTP 404 not found Error while click on Tab

Please help us as we are facing issue in Prodution.
We are using Apex 3.0.1 version. our appication having 1 parent tab and 4 child tabs. parent tab working fine and 3 child tabs are working fine but while click on 4th child tab we are getting HTTP 404 not found error.
The detials in tab/page
it has 4 reports and 5 Iteams and 1 Hidden iteams.
We are not able to find out the issue please help us.

i do understand that 1 hour is not sufficient to answer in forum but my situation is strange.
To take a wild stab in the dark - how do you define your links in the tab set? Are you linking to a page in the application or your own URL?
Kumar: I have linked to pages in Appication. In same appication rest of the TAB's are working fine with respective linked pages but only one TAB is not working, getting error.
URL is same for all pages/Tabs, i don't think URL is the issue here.
Please help me to get exact error so that i can resolve the issue my own. is there any possibilities to find out the errors in backend tables or elase files.

Transmitting the message to endpoint http://chmsxd42:52200/sap/xi/engine?type=entry using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Received HTTP response code 404 : Not Found.
Our senario is a simple file transfer one, no object has been created in IR.
While we run the wizard, we just put the dummy interface name and namespace in the interface and namespace blanks.
After we activate the objects, the source files were picked up and deleted but there is no file created in the target directory, and we got the error message listed at the top.
Does anyone has some clue about this? Please help.

Hi,
The port of Integration Engine is 80XX, and so 8001.
In the SLD you must to select the Business System of XI and there you can just set the corret Pipeline URL.
It means you AE is unable to communicate with IE.
t-code SMICM..check the HTTP port No:
open the SMICM code...just right click anywhere in the window...then click on the Services..it will show u the HTTP and HTTPs port no.
THen from SLD --Business Landscape --your Business System..chek the Pipeline URL http://<host>:<port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
the HTTP port that u will see in the SMICM should be same in the pipeline URL

Possibly CIM content is not uploaded to your SLD.
Is your SLD running properly ?
Did you install this SLD as a local SLD at the installation of your SAP system (along with other stuff using sapinst) ?

I want to get a Email from the account to my SAP-System.
The Email is downloaded in the XI-System and then directly the following error is shown.
"Fehler beim Übertragen zum Endpunkt /sap/xi/engine?type=entry über die Verbindung AFW. Grund: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Received HTTP response code 404 : Not Found".

External Catalog gives HTTP 404 not found error on return

Hi,
I have an SRM 4.0 that I am running with an external ITS. I have two systems that are almost exactly the same. When I shop with a particular external catalog in one system, it works fine. When I shop in the other system, I can get to the catalog and shop OK, but when I try to return the items to my cart, I get a 404 not found error. I have reviewed the HTML source being sent back to both systems and can identify no differences. I have scoured the config and it is exactly the same. There are no other error messages anywhere in the broken system. There are other external catalogs in that system that work fine. I know I am overlooking something but can't seem to figure out what. Any suggestions to alleviate this most frustrating problem are greatly appreciated.

HTTP 404 Not Found Error when using htp.anchor

We have customized hire flow and Oracle aplication 11i and added some HTML pages from PL/SQL. We are receiving "HTTP 404 Not Found Error" intermittently when clicking on submit button to go to the next page. If we close the browser and perform the same transaction it is working fine.
Can you please help us in troubleshooting this issue.

If you are using Apache, check the error log for more details about the 404. If you are using EPG, there are similar logs somewhere but I can't tell you where off-hand.
