Sending video clips from 6230i

Hi i'm a newbie
I've got some video clips I wanted to try and send my folks as they're away on hols. I had the video recording set to maximum but the clip was then too big to send via MMS. I changed it back to the default setting of 25 secs but it still says "Maximum message size exceeded by 132kb". I've altered all the settings I can think of and find, and the manual says nothing about what size clips are acceptable (and I don't understand the file sizes in any case). I've put a lot of stuff on the PC Suite and deleted a lot of stuff from the memory to free up space thinking this might help but it clearly doesn't.
In plain speak can anyone point me in the right direction?

It's not the phone that restricts the size, it's the network, which is a pain sometimes lol
Most have a limit of 100K for MMS's so try to keep things under that size.

I am trying to send some video clips from my 6235 to my home email address and it keeps saying that the maximum messages size is exceeded. Is there anyway that I can get around this problem or even edit the video clips if possible???

The 300kb limit is set by your network operator and cannot be changed.
Only short clips (around 10 seconds max) at medium to low quality can be sent using mms.
You may be able to send longer clips using email but that depends on your networks email/data policy.

I have Quicktime Player 7.7.2. A relative has been sending video clips from his phone since June, and until Sept. 30 both the video and audio would download. SInce that date only the audio downloads, yet I can still open and play the older saved videos just fine. I tried looking at QuickTime help info available. One place said something about purchasing Quick Pro for use with 7.7.2, but if I need that, why can I still open older saved videos? Thanks for any help.

I'm adding more information:
in Finder, my iMovie folders are all visible and accessible. When I click on a clip from iMovie Events folder, Quicktime opens and plays the clip. ALL my video is not missing - it just isn't showing up in the Event Library!
This happened all of a sudden, while I was working on iMovie project (on both computers).
All my Projects are intact, and play when I open them.

Moving Video Clips from iPhone 4 to iPad

Is there an easy way to move video clips from an iPhone4 to the iPad? I tried sending the videos to MobileMe but when I view them on the iPad, there is no download option offered. I want to move the clips to the iPad to do video editing on a larger screen.

Not even close to good enough, LCD screen will crack, water will go in through the jack/charger ports..
The phone i describe has no external ports just 4-5 little pins which can't let water in or out of the device, the docking station will connect via these 4 - 5 pins for data transfer and recharging...., IPX8 standard, all the electronics are epxoyed with a glue to stop real bad shocks from drops and bangs, along with a silicon case and all the other preventative meausres means this little phone is going to outlive you.
in combination with heart rate external bluetooth connection, really what more could you want... only the Sonim comes close in terms of perfection but if it managed to pack all of above, then it would be simply wow... I have Aperture3 and iPhoto. When I try send video clips as attachments, I get a message saying Quicktime can't open the .avi - why? Others couldn't open them so I sent them to myself and get the same message. Doesn't seem to be a size issue as I've tried with really short clips (4 seconds). As I recall, I didn't have this problem before buying Aperture last fall, when I only had iPhoto. It appears that by default, an attachment to an email automatically comes from my iPhoto files and not Aperture - assume that is supposed to happen but not sure. Thanks for any and all help!

How are you tryin to send the .AVI file? Are you sending the attachment directly from Mail or from Aperture or iPhoto?

How can I export trimmed video clips from iPhoto?

I have video clips from a kid's sporting event that I need to send to other parents on the team. I've got 73 clips that have been loaded from an SD card, and I've trimmed the length on about half of them.
I'm trying to figure out the best way to export them from iPhoto. When I select 'Original', I get the full-size files, but they're not trimmed. I can drag and drop the clips from iPhoto to a folder, and I do get files that are trimmed correctly, but they're very small (around 12K), so I'm guessing that they link to files on my own hard drive, and won't work if I send them to somebody else.
I am guessing that I could fix the problem manually by making a list of videos that I trimmed, opening each one of the 12K files files in QT Player, and saving that movie. This creates a full-size movie file which is the right file size for the trimmed portion. However, I'd like to be able to do all of this in a single batch operation. Is there a solution for this?

You can't. Trimming inside iPhoto stays inside iPhoto. (Does that have a familiar ring to it?) All trimming must be done outside of iPhoto with Quicktime Player. So export the clips to a folder on the Desktop and do the trimming there.

I copied the iTunes file from the external drive and it's in both places. I thought all I would need is the iTunes program (which I downloaded to new computer) and my iTunes library file. There must be something else that's missing. My iTunes library looks the same on the new computer as it does when I open it on the external drive. If I click on an iTunes library song from my new computer, it will only play if I have the external drive plugged in.
My back-up drive is a mess. I have multiple copies of music, video, photo, and document files and I don't know how that happened. ={ Obviously, I don't know how to back up stuff properly and there are back-up files extending over a 6- to 8-year period. I think all I did was just drag and drop the main folders from the back-up drive to the same main folders on the C: drive. Also (and I'm kind of fuzzy on this) Windows used to automatically save music files in a folder within my document files (which makes no sense to me). As my Jewish friends would say, "Oy Vey!"

The Pro upgrade merely enables features found in the standard install of QuickTime.
If the file opens and plays properly in QuickTime the Pro upgrade allows you to export to other formats.
