Sends: Prefader + Post pan

Is it possible to set a channel strip to Prefader as well as Post pan? Or is there a tricksy way to acheive the same effect? I want to send all my orchestral instrument tracks to one aux to manipulate as a single track. I did this by sending all the orchestral instrument tracks out prefader and muting the individual instrument tracks (to prevent the signal from doubling), but this prevents me from panning to create a more realistic ensemble sound. Any help would be great.

It sounds like to me you would be better off reassigning your tracks from outs 1-2 to Bus X, where Bus X returns to Aux X. If you then copy your send pot values to your faders, you'll have better control of both the submix as well as each tracks pan position.
And if you're concerned about automation, you can copy that from the send to the fader as well.

The "post Pan" send option is only for TDM users…
Routing a track to a bus, then to an Aux track in order to obtain a post pan send is really anoying :

This doesn't really help in all situations. For example in case of paralell drum compression: because sometimes it is necessary to send less cymbals or less toms etc (lower volume)... to the "wet" (compressed) BUS than you send (Output) to the "dry" BUS. This is because the tracks are very often compressed themselves and very often you just have Snare Bottom and Top Mic tracks, Inside&Outside Kick Tracks etc. and sometimes some of these are compressed heavily already and you do not want to send them to "paralell" BUS so loud as to "dry" BUS to have the best "fattening" result.
And because Direction Mixer overrides the PAN LAw, giving us the POST PAN option for sends is the only really "PRO" solution.

Pre-Pan/Post-Pan Effect Sends

Hi guys.
I have a question about effect sends.
The default setting for effect sends in Logic Pro appears to be pre-panpot.
Why might this be? I can't think of any scenario where you would want to send a panned signal to the centre of say a stereo delay or stereo reverb.
For the next version of Logic, surely the default setting should be post-pan...what do others think?

Hey, I think I have it. Just reading your posts and trying something I think the "solution" might be this:
As one could find logical, only the last bus of a chain can be panned, to avoid conflicts like a bus left panned is routed to a bus right panned. Of course you can pan either the main output, but has no sense. I have e.g a "flute" channel strip routed to "woods" bus, this one routed to "pre-mix" bus, and this one routed to main output. If I delete or re-route buses, always the last before main out can be panned, whatever it be. I've rearranged my routings thru sends, not via direct outputs and now I'm able to pan my flute!.

Pre/ Post and Post pan colours

Hi,
This ain't exactly a show stopper, but..
In the mixer you can send the feeds as pre, post fader, or post pan.
These 3 options are supposed to change the colour of the send box.
Pre is green, post is blue, and post pan is supposed to be orange- but it's not. It is also blue.
As I said, not exactly worth getting too freaked about!

How to send HTTP Post to URL (third party software) in JSP/JSPDynpage

we want to integrate a third party application in our Portal Component (JSPDynpage using JSP and HTMLB). This third party component is called like this:

Now we used the java.net.URLConnection to do the HTTP post in the JSPDynpage:

Ggoogle search pages and Blogger's "create new post" pane have teeny tiny font sizes. How do I normalize them?

Google's search results page has a font that is miniscule compared to other pages.
I have tried adjusting the font in the tools>options>content>advanced with no change.
I've also tried resetting the view>zoom feature to no avail.
Blogger's "create new post" pane had an even smaller font, if that's possible.
So far the tiny font phenomenon seems to only affect Google pages, though *'''''not'''''* my iGoogle page.
Any help would appreciated :)

How can I send a post query with attached data using Labview?

I need to send data (a file of 5KB) to a php server.
In order to do it, I need to send a post request with attached data.
I'm using Labview 6.1 and I have the Internet Toolkit.
But I just see the Get Method. Isn't implemented the post method in Labview?

Hi,
In order to use the POST request method as opposed to the GET request method I used a VI set up as shown in the attached GIF.
From the front panel you need to provide values for the 3 inputs. "Bytes to read" is an arbitrarily large number that meets or exceeds the maximum number of bytes you expect as a response from your server. "Address" is just the URL of the server, e.g. "10.90.1.1" or "localhost" or "www.google.com". "Data in" is the actual request you're sending with the data included.
"Data in" would be in a format similar to everything in the quotes below (important to have 2 carriage returns to finish the request);

Content-Length: ??
Host: http://www.mywebserver.com
Content-Type: application/x-www-form
-urlencoded
email=[email protected]&password=mypassword
For sending your data file you just have to set the requisite MIME-type and then include the file data in place of the form data in the example above.

Sending consecutive POST requests

Hello, I am having a little problem with sending consecutive POST requests to a site. I am new to networking and sorry if this is the wrong forum to post in.
I am trying to retrieve some data from a site that requires a login. However, you enter in the username and password on different pages, one following the other. I can send one POST request to a page and retrieve the output, but I'm confused as to how to send another request to a page found in the page returned by the first request.
If that confused you, here's a rough diagram of the site viewed from a web browser:
login1.phtml --- POST username ---> login2.phtml --- POST password ---> some page --- redirect ---> destination
Basically, enter in a username in login1.phtml. That will lead you to login2.phtml where it prompts for the password for the given username. If password is correct, login2.phtml will bring you to a page where it will redirect you to your destination (one of the POST parameters).

Basically to to create a business service to send to a HTTP post all you need to do to point the business service to the desired URL.
In the OSB console you can test using the debug option. All you need to do is paste the XML you require and execute.
If this works then you know your business services is sorted. Can you confirm you can complete up to this point?
As Anuj correctly states you need to populate the body variable. This is the fundamental concept of OSB. All service calls request and respond using the body variable. So if you create a proxy service and route to the business service and provide NO routing. The proxy service will pass the input of the Proxy service to the input of the business service as the body has been populated by the Proxy service.

Can't send HTTP POST requests

Hi,
Flex3 Pro vs. J2EE
All HTTP requests with method=POST are received by server as
GET requests.
At first I thought the problem was with the app server -
WebLogic - but the same happens with Tomcat.
Any idea what could be causing this?

By "sending name value pairs" did you mean object properties
and sending the object?
This works only when you know the property name in advance.
We have a generic function that gets all the values from the
controls and builds XML on the fly. This way you don't need to know
the property name in advance and it works on any screen/form.
Setting content type to "application/xml" did the trick for
us - but you put us on the right track.

Image capture and send with post

Ok, like the title suggests, I have a lil paint function
drawing on a canvas in flex 2. What I need is to get that image all
captured and bundled up to send to asp.net VB. The site is here:
we are UNLIMITED .com Click on
start, then Draw, and you will get to play with that canvas. You
can draw all day, different brush sizes, colors, and erase. I need
a capture button there to get the image off the canvas into BYTE
format. Mainly what i need help on is sending that byte array from
flex to asp.net VB, and REALLY need help on catching that byte
array in asp.net VB and getting it to the point i save save it to
the server HDD via the file I/O. I have already been able to save
XML docs to the HDD with asp.net VB to be read by flex via the file
I/O. I really just need some asp.net vb code to do the "POST" catch
(or request), and get the image to PNG? format to be saved. This is
going to be a small paint program in flex, members can use to
create their avatar. I will be implementing say a crop, copy/paste,
drag and drop, resize and what not, to give my users more
flexability as far as what their image looks like. I'd really like
it to be as close to a basic "windows paint" program. But that's
another story. For some reason every time I look up passing
variables from flex (flash) to asp.net vb, it's POSTing form vars,
and really none of it has dealings with images. I know it's
probably really the same, but like I was trying to say, I just get
all kinds of confused with working with byte arrays and asp.net vb
and flex. I was actually supposed to have this site up and running
this past Aug, but with the swap to flex, the pains of membership
between flex and asp.net vb, and my general newbie beginnings of
this whole aspect of computers. Let's just say it's taken a bit
longer than expected.
So to recap from all my babbling:
I need to:

Capture the image on that canvas (see link)
load to asp.net VB (pref. using POST)
(asp.net VB)
create an asp.net vb page to receive/request that image
reformat that image ( pref. PNG )
save the formatted image to the server HDD
This should be fairly simple, and I'm almost embarrassed to
ask for help. I've just been trying to work through this muck for
way too long, and I really need to get past this.
code snippets would be great, although just some good
resources to look at would be great too. I do entirely appreciate
any help in this matter.

SAP send always SAPEVENT:POST as Return_url (HOOK_URL) to the catalog.
The Parameters are

When the catalog is called, it shows the parameters sendet from SAP as follow:

2. What does the catalog show as hook_url in the $_post or $_get array.
Only sapevent:post as hook_url or sapevent:post as a part of the hook_url.
3. The catalog contains post to sap.
You can reach it with the parameters:
