Sent by Blackberry

Hi,
Just have a general query. I have received emails which inform me that they have been sent by a Blackberry, which is useful as sometimes they are very short as a result.
I have a Blackberry pearl 8110 with O2 in Ireland V3.8.5.32a and want to know how I can put this message on emails I send from my Blackberry.
Thanks,
Des

You have two choices to manage your signature on outgoing email.
From the phone locate: Email Settings. Edit the desired email. Edit the signature field.
Alternatively - if to get into Email Settings you use a username/password - you can visit your carriers BIS website and manage it from a PC. http://o2mail.ie/ - with your username/password.

  • "sent via Blackberry" message

Whenever someone I know replies to an email that I sent them from their blackberry, I see this message "Sent via Blackberry from Tmobile" or something like that.  How do I set up my new Blackberry so that whenever I reply to messages from my phone it will say the same thing?  As it is now, all it shows is my reply and doesn't show that "sent via...." message

This is the signature that you see in others emails that they sent via their BlackBerry device. To set your own signature you need to login to your carriers BIS site. Now use your BIS login ID and password. To set signature under your specified email ID click edit and go to signature field to set your signature.

  • Emails sent from Blackberry

Is there a way for a copy of emails sent from Blackberry to be saved to Sent email on web?

If you're using Gmail or Yahoo, it happens automatiicaly.
If you're on a private domain, it's hard to say what will happen, not knowing your email server type, POP or IMAP. However, at your BIS account login, where you setup your email push to the BlackBerry, you can set a BCC of all email to where ever you desire.

  • Emails sent from Blackberry not appearing in my sent items on my computer?

    Using my Gmail email address...
When I send an email from my blackberry 8900,
It isn't showing up in sent items in Mail for mac.
If someone could help me out that'd be great,
Its a bit annoying not having it all completely in sync.
    Thanks!

I don't know if previously sent items will be migrated over to the server, but once the IMAP settings are in place, any new emails being sent should show up on the mail server.
    Good luck!

  • How do I Remove "Sent from Blackberry"

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to remove the sig. saying 'sent from my blackberry'?
Also, I was told that you will always be notified when you send or receive emails? This doesn't make sense to me, wouldn't you only want to be notified when you receive emails? ANY help would be greatly appreciated!!

  • Opening 3gp files sent from blackberry to blackberry.

First off, I'm new to the board, so HI ALL. But this question is the reason why I joined. Seems like the knowledge is out there I just need to ask.
I just upgrade my curve 8310 as well as my wife's to OS 4.5. I love it. I love shooting videos with it as well. Here is my problem. I can attach a video to my att blackberry email, my gmail, or try to send MMS and everything is fine. Now when my wife gets it on her phone, and clicks to open the file, all it says is "your device is not compatible with this type of file" (*or something close to that).
How do I get this to work? I would like not to route my vids through a third party and then to my wife. I want to be able to send to her (and other bb owners) and them be able to view it.
Wht gives? How can both of our phones take the same type of video file type, but neither one of our phones play the video when sent?
    Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to RIM's BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
You've posted a message in the Forum Feedback and Ideas board / topic. If you're looking for assistance on something with your BlackBerry handheld you'd be best posting in a more appropriate section such as the General BlackBerry Smartphone Functions and Features.
That said, do you want to stop it or do you want the message hidden?  You could disable redirection for Sent Items ... Message Options >  Email Setting > (push in trackwheel) Folder Redirection and uncheck sent.
You could also just Hide Sent Messages to keep this functionality but hide them by default under Message Options > General Options
If you've found a solution through a post; please mark it as a solution.

  • Emails marked as read when sent to Blackberry Torch 9850

I'm having an issue with emails being marked as read in my work Outlook Inbox as soon as they are sent to my Torch 9850, even though I have not opened the email on my phone or on my PC.
    We use Exchange Server 2010.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so, is there a setting change or workaround to this issue?  I've turned off reconcilliation for now.
    Thanks!

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community.

  • Help remove gmail signature from emails sent from Blackberry 8700c

I have a Blackberry 8700c and use gmail on my device to send/receive personal emails. (The primary email function for my device is work-related and, therefore, used for work emails.) About a year ago I set up a signature for my gmail account (on the computer). I have since changed and/or deleted that signature multiple times and the emails I send from my computer reflect that change but the ones sent from my Blackberry still have the old signature. Gmail claims this is a device problem and not a Gmail problem. I have done everything I can think of on my Blackberry including deleting Gmail and then re-installing it. I have searched for solutions in multiple forums and only found that others have the same problem but I haven't seen an answer that works. Does anyone here have a solution?
    Thank you!

Your BIS account is the Blackberry Data Plan on your account with which your email is enabled to your BlackBerry, the "push" email to your device. Someone would have had to set it up, either you or your mobile service provider.
I don't know your carrier, so please look at this list and login to your account, you will need to know your username and password for your BIS account, and since you don't know you have one I am suspecting you won't know your username and/or password.
This same can be accessed from your BlackBerry at the personal email setup icon.
Go to the Personal Email Set Up icon and log in. Then under Help!, select Service Books, then select Send service Books.

  • Popping sent mail / blackberry

    hi there,
tried to search the boards for this topic but was unable to find any info; if there's already a thread please let me know...
so here's my issue: i just got a blackberry and have been sending a lot of emails from it. unlike sending mail from the mac mail program, the sent emails don't go into my sent box in mac mail. they do however go into my yahoo sent box (from where i pop my mail into mac mail).
aside from manually moving the sent mail into the inbox from the yahoo mail website and then letting it pop into my mac mail inbox then moving it into the sent box, is there an easier way to do this?
i have pocketmac software, but unsure if this can do that...
    thanks much.
