Separate User ID to configure OIF settings in EM console

We have OIF 11.1.1.7 installed and configured. We need to configure federation settings on EM console but we don't want to use weblogic account due to some restrictions by weblogic team. Does anyone know how to create separate userid in weblogic which can perform changes related to OIF only?

I believe you can assign the user an OIF Admin or Operator rule per the below link

Also take a look at the FederationAdmin role although from the doc it says "The FederationAdmin role is recognized only by WLST commands and other JMX MBean clients, not by Fusion Middleware Control. This means that users with the FederationAdmin role will only be able to configure Oracle Identity Federation through WLST or other JMX clients, not through Fusion Middleware Control"

They can't. Which came first - the chicken or the egg? Actually, that's a bad comparison but a sync must come first.
The library is actually part of iTunes and it contains everything. iTunes is then configured so that you (or they) determine which portion of everything will be synced to each iPod (identified by a unique name, see below for an example of an iPod and an iPad). iTunes can't make that decision until AFTER it knows which iPods exist.
By the way, I (you, they) can very easily change the name of each device to whatever I (you, they) wish to call it.

Can't configure wireless settings on P1102w using a mac

Hi there. I can't configure wireless settings on P1102w using a mac. I have it installed with USB just fine but I want to use eprint (with ios airplay). I run the setup utility looking for some wireless setup option, but it never appears. When I finish the install it tells me to go to the eprint website to download eprint. At that site it has me download the firmware update, which I do, and then at the end of that it tells me to go to the eprint website again, which then downloads the firmware update again. It's an endless loop.
I know I need to get to the built in web server but the config page tells me I don't have an IP address. Which makes sense to me because it hasn't been set up. I can't for the life of me find how to set up the wireless using the driver software on the Mac OS. I try to follow the manuals instructions, but it looks like it is designed for windows users, and the buttons it tells me to look for just don't exist on the mac HP driver software.

The Wireless configuration should be made by using the EWS page, which also accessible from Mac OS over a USB connection through the printer setup.
You may find the steps listed below:
Click the Apple icon, then clickSystem Preferences.
Click Print & Fax.
Select your printer and click Open Print Queue.
Click on Printer Setup
Then select Utility
Click Open Printer Utility
Click HTMLConfig. The EWS opens.
Click the Networking tab
Then click Wireless from the list on the left
Under Communication Mode, click Infrastructure, select your network SSID from the Available Network Names (SSID) list, and then click the << button.
From the Security Mode pop-up menu under Authentication, click WEP or WPA/WPA2. Your selection depends on which Wireless Security Protocol your network uses.
Type your WEP/WPA/WPA2 key in the appropriate field, and then click Apply.
In the confirmation box, click OK and then close the HTML Config and Print Queue windows.
Once done, allow 3 minutes to fully establish the connection, then unplug the USB.
Enter Print & Fax and remove the existing USB Print Queue.
Click the Plus button and add the printer over the network.

1.we have got there certificates from external system (rootCA.DER,intermedia.DER,Server.DER), imported the 3 certs files to TrustedCAs view using VA tool after we configured the SSL enable.
2.We generated the CSR file and got the response from CA. we import the CSR response to SERVICE_SSL service
3.I have assigned the role(keystoreadministrator) to user(PIAFUSER,PIAPPLUSER) in security provide service.
4.I configured the IR and ID for the first sceniro. I Selected the "service_ssl" view and "TrustedCAs" view in received agreement in ID, and selected the "service_ssl" view in comunication channeland. actived all of them.

11gR2 Grid Infrastructure and 11gR2 RAC install as separate users (RH 5)

We are about to set up a few new RH 5 clusters and are trying to make a decision if we should install 11gR2 Grid Infrastructure and 11gR2 RAC as the same user (oracle) or as separate users (grid and oracle) as per Oracle documentation.
I would like to know what other people are doing and their experiences with this.
Here are some concerns that we have:
1) Does Oracle support has an 11gR2 cluster environment where grid infrastructure and oracle database are installed as separate users ? I have been to a few Oracle 11gR2 demos and they always have a simple install where everything is installed as a single user.
2) Potential permission issues that we might hit iif we use separate users, for example
- grid control agent - which user do we install it as and will it be able to access both grid and oracle files ?
- database listener will run as grid user. Is this going to cause any permission issues ?

It is all dependent on your business whether your business needs to separate between privileged user for storage administrator (ASM) or database level. It is recommended to have user separation but not mandatory.

permission issues might happen if the configuration is not correct. for example you might see ORA-12537 when configuring the system

Open System Preferences, go to Accounts (or Users and Groups if you're on 10.7), click Login Options, change Automatic Login to the name of your account. You will have to authenticate with your password. If all the boxes are greyed out, click the padlock first to unlock the screen.

How do I configure the settings on my MBP and Apple TV so it will stream my Netflix movies from my MBP to the TV Screen?]

I bought a new Apple TV 3rd Gen.(which is currently updated) so I could stream the Netflix movies on my MacBook Pro Computer running Yosemite, onto my TV Screen. However, if I configure the settings on my Computer and Apple TV so that everything on my Desktop is displayed on the TV Screen, then Netflix can't even get the movie on my MBP open. It just keeps spinning until I get an error message about not being able to use Mirroring or Air Play if I want to stream my movie to the TV. So, when I switched the settings so that all mirroring and Air Play options were unchecked and selected all the streaming options using the internet. Then the Netflix movie would open up quick and easy, but there was nothing on the TV Screen.
I also was never able to Pair my Apple TV with my Bluetooth.(If they;re even supposed to be Paired, but something I read implied they should be Paired.f) My MBP Bluetooth discovered the Apple TV immediately and issued a Pairing Number to enter in the Bluethooth's setting for the Apple TV, but the Apple TV Bluetooth just kept spinning. I don't know if that is part of the problem or not, since it wasn't mentioned in any documentation I read.
Also, when I was digging for information on the browser, going to Netflix Website and Apple TV's information at apple.com, I did come across a few links while searching the browser for any answers to my questions, that said I needed to Activate my Netflix Account for streaming by finding my Apple TVs activation code and then enter it on Netflix's site in my Netflix account. And other's mentioned a registration code from my Apple TV needed to be entered to activate the "streaming" of Netflix movie content. And again, I've searched for hours and hours trying to find out where or how I could find the two codes, but never had any success. So, I have exhausted all avenues I can think of and with no luck, and I'm hoping my wonderful Apple Community can help me out or get me heading in the right direction. Thanks, RVAF

There is a native Netflix app on Apple TV. If you are attempting to use a VPN via MBP then that is not supported.

Now itunes only recognizes my apple id no matter which user is logged in. Now if I download the Home Depot app to my phone it automatically gets pushed to my wife's iPad, which she does not want. We want to keep things separate. How can we do this?

You can sync devices with the same iCloud ID, not seperate ones.
If she has a different login on your Mac, make sure she has her own ID defined in System Prefs > iCloud

Separate User Accounts on 2nd internal HD

Guys, I have 2 internal HD's. 1 Boot Drive and 1 Media Drive.
I want to use the Boot drive to only store Apps and the Media Drive to store everything else.
Thing is I have a separate user account for my wife as we like to keep our work totally in different places. When stored on the Boot Drive this works fine.
But when stored on the 2nd HD (Media Drive) we both have access to each others files. Is there a way to prevent this? So when I log on my account I have access to only my files. And when wifey logs onto her account she has access to only her files.

Separate user accounts after already used 2 ipod nanos in admin account

My daughter purchased a nano a month ago and we downloaded the software. (Note: The kids already had their own user accounts before I downloaded the software.) When she set up her music in the library and plugged her ipod in she was in my admin account. This week my son purchased his own nano and I couldn't figure out how to get them separate libraries, so we had them do separate playlist, but that was kind of a pain. I checked the discussions and found out that if they had separate user accounts they could have separate libraries. I asked someone about how to be able to set up separate iTunes libraries for each person and they said to open iTunes in their accounts and make sure that their libraries are directed to different files (i.e., each of their names) which they were. After they downloaded all their music they wanted in their separate libraries, they plugged their ipod into the USB, but it didn't recognize it. The ipod category in the source file does not show up and the ipod button that usually shows up in the bottom right hand corner doesn't even show up. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get the ipods to recognize their new accounts in the separate user accounts?

Easiest is prob to restart the PC and log on as one kid, update one iPod.
Then totally log off that account and log on as the other kid, update other iPod.
There is a program, iTunesHelper.exe that runs in the background. It has to be running under the userID trying to update the iPod.
You can see what I mean if you go to Task Manager
(ctl-alt-del in case you don't know)
Click on the Process tab
Click on the imageName column to sort alphabetically
Make sure to check show processes from all users.
If iTunesHelper.exe is running under Kid1 account, then Kid2 account cannot update iPod.
It all goes back to iTunes not supporting fast user switching....prob more than you wanted to know!

iTunes- How to share music between different user accounts on a single computer
You cannot merge two separate libraries across user accounts. Photos does not have the function of merging different Photos.library files. If you have Aperture then you can merge the two before migrating over to Photos.

If have separate iCloud accounts and want to keep your all your iCloud data separate, you can create separate user accounts for each of you, then sign into your individual iCloud account within your user account.
If you want to just add both iCloud calendars on your Mac, you can sign into one iCloud account in System Preferences>iCloud, then add the second account in System Preferences>Internet Accounts>iCloud and only check Calendars with this second account.
