(A car ran me down while I was out getting exercise.) I installed the SSD because I needed my management of PDF files to run faster. I called tech support for help when the software first stopped working, but they needed me to give them a number from my original disks. Because of my disability, I've been having someone come in to clean, and the shelves where I kept my software packages were cleared. I've been hunting for them ever since, but I can't look for them myself for very long at a time. Today I finally found them, but now I can't seem to contact tech support. What happened? I don't want to delete my old files because I need the setup to remain unchanged, because I don't do well with changes. I think all I should need is to have someone located the license file on drive E: and move it to wherever it is needed on the SSD drive, but I don't know what to look for.

Tech support is not normally available on weekends. You should contact them as soon as the weekend passes and pick up where you left off with them.

Since you say you are having a problem with files not downloading properly, below is an alternate site where you can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it. If you are not able to find your version, if you identify it then a more direct link might be available.

When/how do i download the CS6 upgrade promised by deal on Creative Suite Design Premium CS5.5?

I purchased from Adobe Creative Suite Design Premium CS5.5 Student Edition. The deal Adobe had promised was a free upgrade to CS6 as soon as it became available to do so, if i bought the package before a stated date, i did so and installed it. My question is how (or when) do i access my free download of CS6 versions of the software contained within Creative Suite Design Premium CS5.5. My pruchase of the product hinged on this promised free upgrade so it is very important to me to find out how/when i can expect the download.

If you purchased CS5.5 within the offer period then you might have already been upgraded to CS6. However, you don't have to worry at all.

Serial number provided from Adobe comes up invalid for Creative suite Design Premium S&T

Hello can you please help. After going through the process of receiving a serial number for my Adobe Student and Teacher edition of Creative Suite 5 Design Premium Mac OS (to use in the UK) I am getting an invalid error trying to activate it. My Computer system is Mac OS X 10.68 and I am not sure what to do now. Their are no letters within the serial number and have only recently been issued with it so im at a bit of a dead end here.

You need to talk to/ chat with support via web or phone. Nobody can do anything about serial number issues here, much less on a weekend.

If you do not intend to use the product on your old computer anymore, please deactivate it before uninstalling. You can use this document for help with deactivation:
Activation,Deactivation - Adobe Software.
You can then proceed and install the software on your new computer with the original disks.

Yes your cabinet 10 on the Crediton exchange has already been installed and linked with a FTTC DSLAM cabinet (making it able to provide FTTC fibre broadband) and has been Accepting FTTC orders since December 2013. PCP10 (with it's DSLAM cabinet within 100meters of it) is locate on the junction of Commercial Road and the A3072.
However by the looks of things your are just too far away to obtain a FTTC (VDSL2) connection, meaning FTTC fibre broadband is not available to you.

Your best bet is to talk to Connecting Devon and Somerset to see if there are any further plans to get a fibre based service to your area via https://www.connectingdevonandsomerset.co.uk/contact-us/ (as your area may not be inscope of any further deployment). It's strange. The problem apparently resolved itself after I ran TechTool on it. When I clicked on Firefox last night, I had no problem opening a window. Thanks for your help. (As to your previous post, the focus was on Firefox and neither the speed keys nor the menu bar would open a window or tab of allow me to enter a URL to open a window. Strange!)
