I dont know what to do i tried running mac normally i just get a grey screen.
When i try to verify the disk it says "The partition map needs to be repaired because there's a problem with the EFI system partition's file system.
You are not speaking to Apple.
You are insulting volunteers helping other users.
Take it to an Apple store and let Apple deal with the problem.

Seriously Need Help With Lightbox Widget In Dreamweaver
Hi guys, I seriously need your help with this widget.
I'm not exactly new to Dreamweaver and I've been working on a particular website. Everything was going well until I dropped the Lightbox widget into the page.
Lightbox gallery displays, but opens images in a new window on its own. Here's an example;

Yet, when I drop the widget into a completely separate page from the website, it works absolutely fine. Like here;

I have exhausted this entire forum on the subject. I don't understand how the widget can work on a blank html page but when dropped into an already designed webpage, it breaks....!
If you need to have a look at the coding so you can help me further let me know. I've been on this for a total of 11 hours and I still can't figure out what the problem is. Seriously....i'm nearly close to tears! ;-(

Seriously need help but cant get through via phone
I am seriously needing help spend almost all week chatting with verizon via my verizon however nobody could come up with an answer for my problem it seems that I have been locked out of using the online payment option and the lady says it does not show that on her end I need this addressed asap but the lines have been down for days according to the store I just spoke with. is there someone in finance or billing that could call me? You're right ! But my printer is connected via the ethernet port and i need to use the print API to communicate with it. In ActionScript nothing works I tried to send the escape sequence that should open the drawer : String.fromCharCode(27)+String.fromCharCode(112)+String.fromCharCode(48)+String.fromCharC ode(53)+String.fromCharCode(53) ... it didn't work.
So i decided to call a little Java program (JAR) through the Air NativeProcess API. This program send the escape sequence to the printer using Java print API.

I have inadvertently infringe copyright on facebook and they have subsequently barred me from uploading any more videos.

Do the following have free copyright to publish on facebook and U Tube?
1.Garage band sounds?

I have Mac OS X Snow Leopard version 10.6.2 (2009 bought in 2010)Thank you Klaus1.The large font, I copied and pasted from my mail box.I'm visually impaired...not to a huge degree but it helps to use the large font.I believe you are right about the copyright on the imac stuff but if facebook decide otherwise, you have to reply electronically to their challenge.If you can't provide a reference directly from the copyright owner then they remove the video.I believe this is a programmed response and no human is involved which now makes it impossible for me to get my video uploading restored.They detect added soundtrack automatically and then challenge.There are many others in the same boat and facebook will not communicate.They have various discussion sites on which I have left messages including Mark Zuckerbergs own facebook but I don't think anyone from facebook ever reads them.I intend to start a second facebook which I can use purely to get my videos uploaded as a lot of my friends enjoy them BUT don't want fall foul of their programming again.If only iMac would put something on the net to this effect.I think it is so unfair that with modern technology it is impossible to contact these large conglomerates personally and receive an email response.I tried emailing [email protected] but I got a failure notice.If you have any ideas on how to get verification from apple direct, I would be very grateful.Thank You.

Try doing a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears and it restarts, ignoring the red slider if that appears.
If that does not help, take the iPad to an Apple store genius bar and have the techs check out the screen to see if there is a hardware fault. -

Long story short – my daughter aged 6 was taken from me last week because my violent rapist ex husband told Children’s Services that I tried to drive her off a cliff and am a serious suicide risk, I abuse her, I neglect her, I’m an alcoholic, anorexic, complete psycho nutjob etc etc, really nasty stuff. I am desperately trying to get her back. I need to prove I was not at this cliff & in fact have never been there, nor have I ever been stalking his house as he claims (& was awarded a 500m exclusion zone from his house so I can’t get my daughter if I need to as well as a ban on any telephone or postal contact between my daughter & I). I can prove my phone has been used every day for the last 2 years with my bills and if I can prove that in that time I have never been to this cliff, among a million other things I need to try & prove by Wednesday, I have a fighting chance of getting her back. I was allowed supervised visitation today & she’s scared & confused, massively regressed, looking physically neglected, she was withdrawn & was trying to tell me something but being supervised she couldn’t & got told off for whispering. The police are powerless in this & Children’s Services believe him over me, unless I can disprove his claims. Apparently it’s my job to prove their allegations are false rather than them having to prove they’re true!
Anyway, I’m trying to do the tracking thing on my iPhone 4, IOS 5.1.1.

I have no idea what any of this means but I have heard this technology is no longer valid? Apple has changed it or something? In addition, Apple update that "fixed" the percieved problem, so the data is no longer accessible.
The only way to "prove" what you want to is get a court order for your cellular company to pull the records for the location of your phone over time from their system.
They know exactly where you phone is at any given moment, but that is not going to be something they will give you just for the asking.
Get a lawyer. If you had one, they would have already advised you of this. If you can't afford one, call legal aid. -

Well, a couple of things...
First off, noise gating is rarely--if ever--going to yield perfect results for the application you're suggesting. I'm not just talking Audition--I'm talking every hardware or software noise gate I've ever used. The change in ambience as the mic opens and closes, coupled with the inevitable clipping of the beginnings or ends of words makes it a not-very-good tool for voice recording. I tend to use it for things drum kits with multiple mics but rarely for voice.
If I was you, before looking for an electronic solution, I'd be seeing what gains you can get with a physical re-arrangement of your recording set up. Obviously, I don't know the details but things like adding a pop screen, moving the mic a bit farther from the desk, making sure the papers you shuffle are in the null of the mic, perhaps hanging something soft behind you to deaden reflections, etc. may pay bigger dividends than noise gating.
Having said all that, setting up a gate tends not to be something I do by numbers but, rather, adjust by ear and instinct. Perhaps if you could post a brief sample of an untreated voice, we could have a play. Alas, this forum doesn't support direct uploads of audio so you'll have to use one of the many services that allow you to post for downloading...things like Dropbox or Box.net.
