Server settings for remote Server in Flash Builder 4.5 Premium

Has anyone figured this out? Seems like everyone is talking about FlashBuilder that comes with PHP and that doesn't help me. So I'm still having trouble moving my mobile app to a remote server and I have FlashBuilder 4.5 Premium without PHP.
I have created a PHP project outside of Flash Builder and then I have connected to it using the Data/Service tab, but then it ask for the server information and that is where I'm having the issues.
It works create with the setting like this.
MAC:
Server Options
Web Root: /Applications/MAMP/htdocs
Root URL: http://localhost/
But when you try to export a release build or just like to test it, and insert your server settings.
Server Options
Web Root: /home/username/domain_name/
Root URL: http://mydomain.com
It doesn't Validate which in turn won't let the project work. Also it would be nice to put the remote server in there for testing instead of just for release builds. Any one have an answer. Every tutorial or explanation shows localhost.
thanks

Hello guys,
I have found a solution: In ZendFramework/library/Zend/Amf/Response/Http.php  linenumber 59:
$ssl = $_SERVER['HTTPS']; is given an error.
I did this:
$_SERVER['HTTPS'] = 'off';
$ssl = $_SERVER['HTTPS'];
So add this line....
And it works...
Hope it works for you too.
Ooh, and don't forget to follow the instruction of TweenOut.

  • CF Flash Remoting Settings For Remote Server

I am trying to setup Flex Builder 2 for evaluation, with Flex
Builder on a Windows XP machine and ColdFusion (7.0.2) on a remote
server. When attempting to start the Flex Project Wizard using
Flash Remoting, I am having trouble understanding what the settings
should be for root folder and root URL. Nothing I've tried,
including hints based on other posts, has helped.
It would be helpful to have an example in the help docs for
this type of situation. It can't be uncommon and I see a few others
    have had similar trouble. Thanks.

On your machine, these are the settings (I use CF with IIS,
    not the standalone CF server):
    On Project Properties>
    Flex Server: ‘C:\CFusionMX7\wwwroot’
    Root URL: ‘
    http://localhost/’
When you upload to your remote server, upload the entire
Output Folder (usually ‘bin’). You can leave out the
xx-debug.html and xx-debug.swf files, but upload all the others.

  • 10.8: Setting cert server uses for remote Server.app

Setting up a 10.8 server from scratch.
I have a properly-obtained trusted cert, valid for more than one year, which is successfully installed on the server and appears in the cert pane in Server.app.  In the pane in Server.app the server is set to use it for everything.
I am trying to connect to Server.app on my server from a 10.8 client.  When I connect to it I'm told the server is untrustworthy and shown a self-signed root cert valid for one year.  I don't want the server to use this self-signed cert for that, I want it to use my trustworthy cert.  But I can't see where to change this setting.

Should anyone care, apparently if files like 0000_any_443_.conf are manually edited in any way Server.app punts the football & gives up with the above error. Seems like a hyper-sensitive hard-coded parser.
FWIW, I had only added 1 line defining the param ServerName since I was seeing errors like this in the log:
[warn] RSA server certificate CommonName (CN) `secure.mycompany.com' does NOT match server name!?
Defining ServerName squelched this warning but causes Server.app to pout.

  • Connetion String for Remote Server

Hey All, I'm new to Oracle so please bear with me if i ask somethings that should be fairly obvious. I'm attempting to connect to a remote server using OCCI and i have no idea how to set up my connection string to accomplish this. I've read through the OCCI programming guide particularly section 3.1 (Connecting to a database) but the examples leave the connection string variable empty. Could someone please furnish me with an example connection string that could be used to connect to a remote server? That would be greatly appreciated. If there's any information you need from me to help answer this question let me know. Thanks, Mike

  • The e-mail message cannot be sent. Make sure the outgoing e-mail settings for the server are configured correctly.

    Hi,
I have SP 2013, and it was working properly. and workflows send emails perfectly. yesterday, i decided to build a fresh site collection so i deleted the old one and created a new one. now, workflows are unable to send emails. i'm sure it has nothing to do
with my mail server cuz no changes happened to it. i'm sure about the settings for outgoing mail on central admin. all i did, was to enter mail server IP in outgoing mail field and email below it.
in the workflow status the status says "error" followed by this message: "The e-mail message cannot be sent. Make sure the outgoing e-mail settings for the server are configured correctly."
    Any help please?

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you failed to send email after building a fresh site collection.
I recommend to verify that you have entered your SMTP server name correctly.
You can add it as FQDN e.g. ServerName.DomainName.

  • The e-mail message could not be sent. Make sure the outgoing e-mail settings for the server are configured correctly

    I have a 2 server SharePoint farm.
All outgoing emails were working fine.
I just restarted both servers and now after that none of the emails are being sent. I am using OOB publishing workflow and it shows message:
The e-mail message could not be sent. Make sure the outgoing e-mail settings for the server are configured correctly.
Even if I setup Alert on some list, it doesn't send email.
I have checked that outgoing email setting in CA is defined and like I said it was working fine without problems but after restart it is showing error.
What could be the cause of this and how to fix it?
    EDIT
I removed outgoing mail server in CA, added again and restart IIS but still emails from OOB workflow is not being sent. But email from Alerts are being sent. Don't know what to do now.

This is really weird, It works when an alert is set but workflows doesn't send emails... Can you create a simple 1 Step workflow in SPD to send an email when a specific field is set. See if this sends an email..
AJ MCTS: SP 2010 Configuration MCSA: Windows 7 If you find this post useful kindly please mark it as an answer :) TY
I created a test workflow which sends email to user and it is also not sending email. But I am getting email from SharePoint regarding "variation" page changes as well as alerts which I told above.

  • The email message cannot be sent. Make sure the outgoing email settings for the server are configured properly

i have an issue when loading a workflow. it gives me a following error "The email message cannot be sent. Make sure the outgoing email settings for the server are configured properly". it doesnt send me any alerts and worlflow fails at the end
    with the above error message.

    Hi,
I agree with Bistesh. But after Outgoing e-mail settings are configured properly, if the issue still exists,
It may result from your Anti-Virus. Please refer to the following steps:
Open MCAfee Console and go to Access Protection window.
Click Anti-Virus Standard Protection and edit “prevent mass mailing
    worms from sending emails” rule.
Now we need to know which processes are being blocked therefore we need to check the MCAfee Log located at
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\McAfee\DesktopProtection\AccessProtectionLog.txt
you may find entries of DtExec , DtExecUI and DatabaseMail90, now these processes need to be entered in the exclusion list of selected rule .
Reset the IIS And SharePoint Timer service to check if this works for you.

If you want to connect to WLAN, just go to the connections in settings, and choose WLAN. Refresh the list and connect to any which is available. If you see none, you're in a wireless-free area.

  • Settings for J2EE Server do not exist

Hi I get the message "Settings for J2EE Server do not exist"
Where can I set them and what has to be entered ?
    Regards
    sas

    Hi Erdem,
I assume that you get this error message while configuring you web service in ECC.
To make the setting for the J2EE server, go to the WSADMIN transaction, click on "Go To" in the menu above and select "Administration Settings".
You can enter the full URL (upto the port) of your J2EE server in the following format:
    http://<<full server name>>:<<port number>>
    Hope this helps!

  • Set up site server on a remote server (was: remote server)

I* gave up on trying to hook up to a data base I have spent days trying to set up a site server on a remote server. The only way I can connect is with a custom ftp i make in the cpanel. Then for example if i try to go live, the url it tries is the ftp url. I have worked with all types of servers both remote and local I wonder if dw knows what a server actually is. Why in the hell do they make it so complicated? Step by step instructions on how to set them up. The wikis are useless..Windows 7 Dreamweaver cs6..

I have spent days trying to set up a site server on a remote server.
You don't set up a site server on a remote server. It is already there.
You don't FTP to a database.
I realize you are frustrated, but now we need to start with square one. answer the following:
Did you install a webserver, such as XAMPP on your local computer?
Are you trying to use Dreamweaver server extensions (data binding)?
After setting up the webserver, what do you see when you type "localhost" in a browser address bar?
