I don't know if this is a correct group, I'm facing problem in iportal(invoice portal), after creation of credit note for SE, I can't match it with invoice in iportal, needed SE not appearing in the list(when I tried to retrieve data)

HI,
whenever we do the SES against the PO,
two entries trigger in PO history,
one is SES and other is material document type withmvt 101,
ur saying that material document is there in ur case and SES is not there,
after posting the SES entries will update at EKBE ,ESSR and ESLL,
there is a way to track the SES by by comparing the tables EKBE and ESLL ( service line objects ),
u can trace through package no of services,
if the pocket no is 101 at EKBE, immediate pocket no is 102 at update at ESLL,
check the pockets in both tables,
may be this will cause through patch level,
ask the BASIS team about this.

I am encountering a problem on Ciscoworks LMS 3.0 wherein the Common Services portal does not appear on the homepage. This was after I tried to upgrade CW to LMS 3.2 but does not seem to work so I revert back to LMS 3.0. I even did a restore of the backup database but still no Common Services on the homepage.
How do i resolve this?

If you're not seeing the Common Services application portlet on the Functional Portal View, then you need to open a TAC service request to get the steps to manually re-register all of the installed applications from the command line.

Service entry sheet does not appear in PO history

hello all
here is a difficult question:
standard PO (type NB) with one Item line.
we did several GR on this PO, several entry sheets.
The last SES, with "final entry", does not appear in the PO history.
the GR corresponding to it, does appear.
any idea of what could have happened?

Responsibility : Employee Self-Service
Click on "Personal Information".
Navigate to : Personal Details Region
Click on : "Personalize Basic Details" hyperlink.
In the "Personalize Region : Basic Details" page that opens, in the
Personalize Structure Region : "Complete View" option button is enabled.
In the Style column choose the Value : Default Single Column
Click on "Go" button.
Corresponding to : Default Single Column: Basic Details, Click on "Create Item" icon.
In the "Create Item" page that opens, choose : Level: Function: Personal Information
Item Style : Spacer
ID : Vishu
Admin Personaliation : True
Height : 30
Width : 10
Click on "Apply" button.
Click on "Return to Application".
Simulated in CELALNX10 and crm-au-r12 instance but in both the instances the Spacer items is not appearing.

Check that you have specified the HEIGHT and WIDTH properties of the spacer!
Also, you have created an item, but make sure that it is RENDERED=TRUE at the personalisation level for your responsibility.
It is good prectice to create an item and render it FALSE. Then go to the specific personalisation level you require and set RENDER=TRUE.
Also, there is a better document than the one you refer to. Try looking at MetaLink document id 268969.1 - Oracle Framework Personalization Guide (OA Framework 11.5.10).

I am running IE 11 on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit Service Pack 1. When I attempt to install Flash Player, it goes through all of the steps, tells me the player is installed, and welcomes me. I cannot open the player and it does not appear in the Start Menu, Task Manager, System Tray, or anywhere else. When I try to open a file, the site tells me Flash player is not installed. I have even downloaded it to a separate folder and ran the install with IE shut down completely. And Shockwave in ENABLED but in 32 bit .I have been trying to get this to work for about 3 weeks now. HELP!!!

Flash Player is a browser add-on, not an executable program.
If you need to open a local SWF file you will need the standalone player (Projector) from http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
Note that the download is the player, not an installer, so you will need to make the file association manually.

App asks to have location services turned on but App does not appear in location list.

I start the EZ Word Cheats and it starts with the menu open. I click on Quick Import and a blue box appears with the message to turn on Location services in settings. I start the settings app, click Privacy, click Location Services, but EZ Word Cheats does not appear in the list of Apps that can have Location Services turn on. Shutting the iPad off or resetting it does not help.

I reset location services in Setting>General>Reset>Reset Location & Privacy and that fixed the problem. I need not need to restore from new. When I ran EZ Word Cheats after the resetting location services and then clicked on the Quick import under the menu, a message came up asking access to Photos instead of location services. This is the correct behavior since the program does need access to my photos but does not need Location services.

Field functional area does not appear as an entry field into the document..

We are using the functional area field in our system. In order to access this field, we proceeded
to customize the system as follows:
- We already activate Cost of Sales Accounting for our Company Code.
- The field functional area was set optional through transaction OB41, for the posting keys required.
- The field functional area was set optional using transaction OB14, for the field status group assigned to the GL accounts.
However, we cannot enter the area functional when we are posting documents related to customers and vendors.
Although the field functional area was set optional, it does not appear as an entry field into the document screen for the
different transactions: fb70, fb60, f-02,fb01. It is only happening when we areentering the document position for the vendor/customer.

Hi,
In FB70 or FB60 change the layout ........ select the line item layout configuration, you get a separate Table Settings screen pop up where in you need to select "Administrator" button the system displays another pop up window where in you can check whether the Functional Area field is checked as invisible if so remove the check mark and active the settings.

Payslip does not appear on the Self Service Page

Hi all ,
I would like the system to display the Payslip of an employee on his self-service page so that when the user logs in he or she can view his/her Payslip.
When i click on the Function Payslip it says ERROR on Page.
I have Run International HRMS Global.And as the organisation is in Africa it doesn't have any specific localisation.
So can anyone assist me on how can i customize the JSP page so that the Payslip appears on the Self-Service page of an employee.

PXI System does not appear in MAX 4.0

My system comprises LabVIEW RT 7.0, target PXI-8176 controller in PXI-1000B chassis, PXI-6608, PXI-6711, NI-4472, PXI-6704, PXI-6527, PXI-8423/4, PXI-8422/4. This has been stable for two years. I recently solved an RS-485 2-wire mode configuration problem, using information in a discussion forum thread, by upgrading to NI-VISA 3.4.1 and NI-Serial 2.5.5. MAX 4.0 was installed as part of this process. Everything seemed to work fine. I instructed a distant customer to do the same, but they experienced some difficulty. To ensure we were working from the same starting point, I re-initialized my PXI system, using PXI Format Hard Drive Disk, version 7.0, from MAX 4.0. I configured TCP IP address, and re-installed the RT software on the PXI controller.
Next, I attempted to configure the PXI controller and chassis, in MAX, to update the pxisys.ini file, but the PXI System (Unidentified) does not appear under Remote System>>IP address>>Devices and Interfaces. Similarly for the serial ports. This worked before, but I cannot get this back. What is wrong?

The controller is definitely booting in RT mode -- I can still run my applications on the RT target. VISA seems configured properly also, I can make VISA calls without error in the application.
In fact, the RT system seems to work correctly, and I contemplated leaving it as it is. However, the fact that MAX does not recognize the PXI system makes me nervous, and I cannot do some of the things I may want to do, for example independently configure RS-485 port wire mode in MAX (the ports do not show up either). Traditional DAQ configuration in MAX works.
After your last post, I found a brief reference in MAX Help that indicated "PXI Services" had to be downloaded before the chassis could be configured. But there are no other mentions of what PXI Services is, what it does, or how to install them. PXI Services does not show up as RT Software in MAX. In the Windows Add/Remove Programs control panel in Windows, in the National Instruments software section, there are two apparently related entries:
- NI PXI Platform Services for LabVIEW Real-Time 1.5.1
- NI PXI Platform Services for Windows 1.5.1
But, I cannot get these to install on the RT target. Not knowing what was causing the problem, I uninstalled everything from National Instruments, deleted all folders, and reformatted the PXI platform. There was one problem during this process -- after uninstalling NI-Serial 2.5.5, it does not get removed from the Add/Remove programs control panel. There is still a registry key that the uninstaller did not remove -- presumably this is the problem.
I have rebuilt everything, but could not get NI-Serial to install -- the installer thinks there is a newer installed on the RT target (there isn't) and refuses to install NI-Serial 2.5.5. So right now, I cannot install NI-SERIAL (any version), or remove the 'existing' NI_SERIAL, because it isn't actually there, and there is no uninstaller.
Otherwise, everything seems to be back to where it was before I "upgraded" to NI-VISA 3.4.1. This was NI-VISA 3.0, LV RT 7.0, and MAX 3.0.2. I have not yet been able to install NI-Serial, so I cannot yet see if I have also restored my original problem -- the one that led me to have to upgrade NI-VISA and NI-SERIAL in the first place.
Most importantly, there is now a "PXI Services v1.1.2" installed on the RT target. I am quite sure the problem with MAX 4.0 not recognizing my PXI system has to do with the absence of this driver on the RT target.

Sometimes ESS menu does not appear

Hi,
   Sometimes when the user logs into the ESS the ESS menu does not appear
. This happens only sometimes and when we restart the ITS and ask the
user to log in again the menu appears.
I looked at the access log of the ITS and found the following entry there : access with invalid random key.
Any suggestions will be very helpful.
Below are the technical details :
   ESS is being launched through the ESS menu 'PZM3'.
   ITS 620 patch level 16, HR 470 patch level 45, Basis patch level 54.

Hi Kapil,
- check access log of ITS if the request was received
- check if other flowlogic services like i.e. systeminfo work
- check with a HTTP sniffer what was send to the server/client
- check the output of view source in browser
- make sure that no network device (proxy,loadbalancer...) leads to the random failure
- check trace files of ITS
Just some ideas.

CRS does not appear to be healthy

Hi all,
i'm using oracle database 10g with RAC (02 nodes).
Before we had database name named abdwh, and our co dba has removed this and changed it to abdatawh and unregister the service from crs by using the command: crs_unregister ora.abdwh.abdwh1.inst. But after this command our cRS had problem and not working, when i do the command crsctl check crs i got the following error:
CSS appears healthy
CRS does not appear to be healthy
EVM appears healthy
when i do crs_stat command i got also an error like this:
CRS-0210: Could not find resource 'ora.abdwh.abdwh1.inst'.
Does anyboby can help me how i can solve this problem. How to remove the resource ora.abdwh.abdwh1.inst from CRS because we don't use it now, it was our old database instance.

I have added OXK3 transaction and set this field as "Opt Entry", but the field does not appear in FB01 transaction.
I've also tried "Req Entry" status for new field it gave no effect.
How this field can be enabled in the interface of standard FI transactions?

As for VirusScan, Barney is right on the money that it does not come preinstalled on any Mac shipped new from Apple. However you have gotten it, your best bet is removing it.
