Service error... tried everything but doesn't work!! Help please!

I just got my brand new video ipod, and I can't even download anything!!!
I installed the CD that came with the ipod.
Ipod IS recognized by the windows, but not in iTunes.
I see in the discussion that so many people had these errors...
"ipod service error" under ipod updater and
"The software required for communicating with the ipod is not installed correctly. Please reinstall itunes to install the ipod's software."
I've tried almost everything that's suggested in the discussion. Re-installed iTunes so many times, used Windows Install Cleanup, used msconfig under Run and changed system configuration utility. NOTHING.
Could someone suggest me anything else I can do?
I'm really disappointed and frustrated... I was so excited to get my new ipod, and didn't expect to run into a problem from the start!!!!
And I've been working on this for 2 days!

So now the ipod updater has updated my ipod successfully.
NOW, the itune doesn't open.
everytime I try to open it, it gives the "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close." error.
So I'm off to this new problem...
At least I got the service error taken care of.

Premiere Elements 7, on what computer operating system?
In Premiere Elements 7, there are various effects for lightening a dark video. After applying one of these lighting effects, have you been editing these applied effects in Edit Effects/Properties Palette after you apply them?

Adjust - Brightness and Contrast, Auto Levels....
Image Control Panel that is a default Properties Palette panel along with Motion and Opacity....for Brightness, Contrast, Hue, and Saturation.

I'm having this problem now with my 2 weeks old iPhone 6+. in the beginning everything going great and managed to connect every wifi around me. Then suddenly 1 week ago, All the wifi from my office, home, hotel and coffee house saying either incorrect password or can't join the wifi. But when i switch on my hotspot from my iPhone 5 it can be connect. i also try with my friend iPhone hotspot. So is it because of hardware problem or software problem. And i just restore my iPhone6+ and still can't connect to wifi and manage to join hotspot (also wifi right?) regret as all my downloaded stuff vanish and now can't download back using wifi.....

Try closing all apps in Multitask Window
1. Double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking view
2. Swipe up on the screenshot of the app you want to exit.
3. The app will fly off the screen

Stuck on apple logo and Home button doesn't work, help please?

Well, I dropped my iPod Touch 4g by accident and since that day, the home button hasn't really been working that well. Its very hard to use since you have to press it in really hard to get it to work and sometimes it doesn't even work at all. Anways, I was skyping with my girl and I didn't notice that I had to charge the iPod and it died on me so I was like what ever its normal and started to charge it. When it turned on, it got stuck on the Apple logo and its been there for more than a day now? What can I do? I know about the Press Home + Sleep button together but the Home button doesn't work at all anymore. I tried everything really. I tried to connect it to itunes and see if I could restore it but it won't recognize it no matter where I connect it. Tried it on 3 different computers and none worked at all. I can't take it to an Apple store since there isn't any close to where I live and I really don't have anyone to take me there. So is there any other solution to fix my problem at home? or is it messed up completely? Someone please help me

I have this same issue. But also, it isn't just that the lock/home button stops working, all buttons stop working. Even if you switch it to silent sounds are still played. I just got my iphone Thursday. Went to school the next day and pulled it out, it happened while it was locked I guess because my screen was black and I couldn't do anything! Thought it died already! This was around 12. Finally I pulled it out of my pocket again at around 3 and it showed the Apple logo and acted like it had just started back up. Which is what always happens after I get stuck playing a game or something. Help please, has happened two or three times just today.

30 gb ipod 5th gen- Video doesn't work Help Please!!!

I bought a used ipod off ebay, and ive been having nothing but problems with it. It came with music already loaded on it, but i deleted that music off. Then, I tried putting more music on it, and after successfully putting the music on it and ejecting the ipod, when trying to play the music on the ipod, it was blank. I restored it a million times, and I have the most recent update. Thankfully, I tried clicking and dragging the music from my library to the ipod and that worked. Now music is able to be played. But then, I tried putting videos on the same way. It was successfull, but when I tried to play the videos, the screen just goes blank, and after about 5 seconds it goes back to the menu. Ive tried switching the tv on and tv ask options to tv off, but that did not help, so if anyone can please help, it would be very much appreciated.

Thank you so much for your link - unfortunately it is totally beyond my skills to understand or correct the bug as posted. I can find the touchpad icon and right click to open the options and that's about my speed. If this is a bug should I uninstall Firefox 9? Thanks so much...

No need for the caps.
If iTunes prompts you to restore your phone, then that is your only choice. Just follow the instructions iTunes gives you.
If its not turning on, hold down the power and home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears. Then you will be asked to restore your phone in iTunes.

GL2DW conversions... I've tried everything, but still nothing works.

I've been trying for a few days to convert a CS1 GoLive site to a CS5 Dreamweaver site... and nothing has worked.
I have studied about 5 online discussions for various procedures. I downloaded the GL2DW extension and loaded that into the CS5 Dreamweaver site. No luck. I tried changing the names of the various GoLive folders to web-content, web-data and web-settings. But when I go to convert I'm still asked to list the folder with my .site file... which is clearly there. Yet it is ignored for some reason.
I next tried downloading an extension which I loaded into a folder in GoLive. But on launch it informed me that this conversion extenstion only supports CS2 and above.
Then I tried doing as was suggested on this list in another question:
From GoLive go to Site > Convert Site to New Structure.
Then from Dreamweaver go to Site > Import GoLive Site.
But that didn't work because there is no ' Convert Site to New Structure' option in CS1 GoLive.
So... short of looking around on ebay for a copy of GoLive 9 what might anyone suggest?
It's like I fall through all the cracks here... and don't fit in anywhere.
My site is fairly simple... but I wouldn't want to hack it all out from scratch in Dreamweaver... if at all possible.

The migration tool doesn't use the GoLive sitefile. What you migrate is the sitefolder itself in accordance with the organization requires. Which is:
GoLive.site file
web-content folder
web-data folder
web-settings
Youmight need to rename your folders. See post above from September 27th.

My podcast has not updated in over two months. Ive tried everything to get it working. Please Help

My feed has not updated in the store for over two months. I now have three new episodes in there which are not showing up.
Everything works fine through itunes, i can see all episodes and my feed validates with the feed validator.
About 2 months ago my artwork dissappeared from the feed and since then it has never updated again.
Hope someone can help.

Hi Roger, just to update you on the situation.
I did some more digging into the problem im having and it was suggested that i tried re-submitting the feed to the store.
On doing so i got the error message that my hosting does not have byte-range support which it seems a lot of people are having problems with. Having read further it seems apple introduced these changes around the time my podcast stopped updating which seems to tie into how the issue started.
So i created a test feed with one episode and a link to a media file from a working podcast and still it would not submit, i was getting the 'We have difficulty reading this feed. Connection Reset error'
Luckily i have another hosting provider so i uploaded the exact same test feed and the feed got accepted.
So i have come to the conclusion that my host does not have byte-range support but also it seems this is stopping it reading the actual .xml file as well as the .mp3 content which from reading other posts should not happen.
So im in the process of uploading the latest episode to my host that has byte-range support enabled and im going to update my current feed with one episode and a link to the .mp3 file on the server with byte-range support enabled and im hoping fingers crossed the feed updates.
Obviously i can set up a new feed on the server with byte-range support enabled but if my current feed fails to update at all im concerned i will never be able to update the feed again and therefore never be able to add the feed URL redirect code in order to keep my subscribers.
Thought id share this with you as it may help you in helping others having similar problems.
