Hello all. I have issue with Nvidia Quadro card 1000M on Windows 8. I set discrete graphic in bios and saved settings.
But on Windows startup at login screen it goes black and only helps to restart and set it back to optimus or integrated.
How to setup discrete graphic card as primary video card.

To get some clarity to best direct you, what machine are using? If you could, give us your machine type and model number?
Additionally, have you made sure that your Nvida Quadro Card 1000M has the latest Windows 8 Driver? (I wasn't sure of your machine, so I linked the Driver Matrix page)

Update of photoshop CC - trouble with NVIDIA Quadro 1000M display driver. PS freezes

Hey guys,
Since today I've got trouble with my PS CC.
I've updated PS CC yesterday 2014-12-12.
I was doing some drawings today and two times PS freezes during switching layers of or selecting a mask.
A message appeared that there was trouble with the display driver an PS switched off the GPU support because of that issue.
Ok, I thought let's update the display driver and so I've done today. I switched to actual NVIDIA display driver version 314.21
I'm working with an NVIDIA Quadro 1000M on a DELL mobile Workstation Precision M4600 with 8 GB RAM.
Now when I start up PS and press alt+k, my 2 displays showing a black screen for 1-2 seconds.
After closing the general setup window again black screen for 1-2 sec and the top menu bar is showing no entries.
When I move the mouse pointer over the bar, the menus appear again. But the bar is like transparent at the parts where no menues are.
When I unlock the window from the screen an put it back fitting to the screen everything looks like normal.
Till today I hadn't any problem with my notebook in that kind of way.
Maybe someone has or had similar problems.
Would be nice if someone can help me.

Oh, that sounds very bad. It's not that bad for me. It's not crashing that often at the moment, only black screens at start up or if setting dialog is opened. But I will see tomorrow how often it will crash, during today it crashed 2 times when doing some ridiculous simple actions like switchid to another layer and the other time when trying to edit an mask layer. I will contact the support chat on monday regarding this issue. Maybe there is a solution or an update soon... I keep may fingers crossed for you.

Regular, unexpected crashes with nVidia Quadro card

Okay, it looks like there may be an answer for those users who have regular nVidia cards whose drivers are at leat at 196.xx now, but what about those who use a Quadro card?
There are no beta drivers for these cards and their revision number is still way down compared to consumer models.
Does Adobe have an answer for these people?

Yes, I'm using the just released 191.87WHQL drivers. Well, when I say that I am, it's actually my uncles machine.
The Stereoscopic 3D drivers are already removed, but it hasn't made any difference. For some reason nVidia chose to provide those drivers on the FX570 cards.
For reference, the PC has a Core2Duo 2.2Ghz processor, a nVidia Quadro FX 570 graphics card, 8GB RAM, Windows 7 64, ample hard drive space and all plugged in to a Gigabyte GA something or other DS3.
Everything else is rock solid, but Premiere Elements 8 crashes as per the thread at the top of the forums!
I fear it will be a long time before nVidia release 195.85 or whatever the drivers are for the Quadro range.

Kernel Panic Nvidia Quadro Pro 4000 CC14 MAC PRO 10.9.4 mavericks

I get kernels panics constantly when using CC14 lightroom and photoshop.. And this is causing me to loose thousands of dollars. I have searched for months have lost thousands of dollars in work, have trued to contact support only to be sent to community forums which i get no response...o

i constantly get Kernel Panics when using CC14 associated with my NVIDIA Quadro 4000 2048 while using cc14 photoshop and lightroom since I updated to Maverick 10.9.4.
I have been searching for fixes for months, i have updated everything, every driver, and this has costed me THOUSANDS of dollars in pay i am unable to receive because my %^&* computer keeps crashing.
Now i am pissed! I have consulted APPLE and even after pushing me up to the top level. they still read off a piece of paper. ! i just wanted to go back to osx before mavericks which i was having NO ISSUES but no one seem to have a clue at apple how to even turn one on.
1. i am NOT doing a master restore and I NEVER had a problem before Mavericks and CC14!!!
2. Every driver is updated every firmware is updated
3. there is NOTHING RUNNING IN HTE BACKGROUND
4. i did an smc and reset pram
5. ran disk utility -- no problems
6. searched for answers for months.
7. and by the way..... photoshop cc14 does not save your work on a crash. it saves what you already saved
I AM TIRED OF WASTING MY TIME TRYING TO GET ANSWERS WHEN I ONLY GET IGNORED.

I have my own photography studio, ive spent over a half million dollars on my education (2 masters degrees) my equipment, and traveling the world to various workshops. I spend some evening researching new technology to stay on top of my craft but what I dont do and dont have time to do is follow forums regularly.
Therefore i dont know that this person has repeatedly said the same thing over and over in different threads about applications causing KP.
You suggested that I take my trouble shooting somewhere else...trust me this is not the first place ive tried to get answer.s I have been trying to resolve this issue since i updated to 10.9.4 and CC 14 and Nvidia Quadro pro 4000. First...I DISAGREE with the guy in the thread because what he wrote is just his opinion. It doesnt matter wjho he works for, it a person converses a fact with NO REFERENCES then it looses credibility. I always include a reference when I make a statement to anyone
second: as i said in my discussion -- i have done everything and the only time i get kernel panics is when using photoshop - nothing else running in the background, and the issue is with the video card drivers , 10.9.4 and photoshop and lightroom CC14.
lastly; I know my video card is fine because Ive had photoshoots where i tethered (as I alwasy do) to Phocus software for my Hasselblad H4d and there is never a crash or kernel panic issue. ever.
I ONLY GET KERNEL PANICS WHEN I USE ADOBE PHOTOSHOP OR LIGHTROOM CC14 AND IT HAS ONLY HAPPENED SINCE I UPDATED TO 10.9.4 AND CC14
apple told me to do a restore -- they were just reading me what they were supposed to say.

You have to buy the card from Apple or it will only work in Windows Boot Camp Mode.

Nvidia Quadro FX 1500 won't install

Hi All,
I am trying, without sucess, to install a Nvidia Quadro Fx 1500 video card on the Windows side of my Mac pro.
Until now, after many tries with different driver versions and different Service Pack versions of Windows, the problem remains the same.
Windows will "crash" on the install (it reboots immediatly before the end of the installation process), then reboots again and again until we would desactivate the device.
Is there an incompatibilty of the cards with the Mac Pro (EFI ?)
Any ideas about this issue is welcome.

I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10.Didn't realize there weren't any NVIDIA certified drivers for Windows 10.However I did find one that did work.Download driver 309.08-quadro-tesla-win8-win7-winvista-64bit-international-whql.exeabout 190MB from NVIDIA website.it is compatible with Windows 8 and compatible and working fine with Windows 10.

Nvidia Quadro NVS 110M (Dell Latitude D620) driver issue

I'm having trouble installing the right driver for Nvidia QUadro NVS 110M video card on my laptop. What ever driver I install it requests for a reboot and when I restart, I get a blue screen.
Things that I have tried (all resulted in blue screen after restart).
Update driver using Automatic update
Downloaded driver from Dell support site (for Vista)
Downloaded driver from nVidia
Downloaded beta driver from nVidia

I'd suggest you installing the XP driver in Compatibility mode. Remove that hardware device in Device Manager, right-click on the driver executable/installer file and select the Compatibility tab; click the checkbox before Run this program in Compatibility mode for option and select Windows XP in the list-down box;
If the problem still persists, please understand that Windows 7 is a new operating system (only the beta version) and whole driverstore has been reprogrammed; some old driver is not compatible with new OS. I suggest that you should wait for another period of time till the retail version is released and push the vendor company to upgrade their device driver. Thanks for your time and understanding!

Nvidia Quadro 2000

Is the PNY Nvidia Quadro 2000 a sufficient card to handle HD footage with Premiere Pro CS5 with Windows 7? If not, what is the lowest model Nvidia card that will work?

Have you used the Fermi 460 with Premiere Pro CS5 and HD footage? Does it handle the encoding and rendering well?

NVidia Quadro FX 1700 stops RAM @ 2 GB!

Input welcome... My nVidia Quadro FX 1700 graphics card limits available system RAM to 2 GB. I have 4 GB in my XP Pro machine and expect 3 GB available (by XP limit). I changed the card to a new GeForce 9800 GT (which has auxiliary power) and 3 GB appears in Task Manager. Does anyone have any idea what's happening? I have a beefy 460 watt power supply and use dual 1024 X 768 monitors.

I created a hardware testing benchmark specifically for Premiere back in 2005 (even though Adobe says I joined in 2006)it worked for Premiere Pro 1.5 and later Premiere 2. When CS3 came out I was quite busy and when I finally got it finished CS4 was released. I have been struggling to develop the same reliable repeatable type of benchmark for CS4 but every time I think I have a solution additional testing reveals erratic results from AME. Everything was giving me good results until I started testing with Vista 64 (previous testing was Windows XP on two different computers under many many different disk configurations). When right in the middle of an encoding run that should take--and actually does sometimes--something in the order of 10 seconds all of a sudden stops for 15 seconds and then continues is giving me fits. There is absolutely no other activity going on on the computer. Actually the random and mutiple pauses initially did occur in AME 4.0.1 and seemed to somewhat disappear in 4.0.2 until I put my Vista 64 disk in the system.

3ds Max crashes using Quadro 1000M card on battery

If I run 3ds Max 2012 on the Quadro 1000M card with the power adaptor plugged in it runs fine. If I unplug the power while the program is running, or start the program under battery power the program will run for a few seconds then freeze.
Running under the Intel graphics works fine, however the purpose of having a workstation class laptop is to take advantage of the inproved graphics option.
The W520 is listed as 3ds Max "certified" by Autodesk. I have all the latest Lenovo and Windows drivers, as well as the latest BIOS installed as of 1/10/2012.
Is anyone else having issues with applications crashing while using Quadro graphics on battery power?

Since this only happens for this particular program, try reinstalling 3ds Max and when you reinstall; set your unit to diagnostic mode via msconfig before doing so.
at the same time check with the Autodesk forum, there might be other uses who has the Quadro 1000m on their system who is experiencing the same symptom or maybe a patch is available for this.

I need to connect my LED cinema display to nvidia quadro 4000 graphics card

I cant find any adapter to connect my "LED cinema display" to the brand new graphics card "nvidia quadro 4000 (for Mac pro)"

They included the wrong DisplayPort to Mini DisplayPort adapter. The correct adapter should have a female Mini DisplayPort connector, not male. You could buy the correct adapter or you could add a F-F Mini DisplayPort coupler

If I upgade to my macpro 3,1 with a video card Nvidia Quadro FX 4801 can I still use my Cinema HD Display? Will I need an adaptor?

Barefeats isn't testing the 4800 in any of their tests or since about 2009 before the 5770/5870 came out and the Quadro 4000.

when I start edge blending feature of my nvidia quadro fx 3500 driver on 2 projectors, quicktime goes out of synchronization between audio and display. it's not directly related with framerate cuz my own opengl application with quicktime sdk, renders with 300+ fps succesfully but still the video is out of sync...

your PSU is good one and should be powerfull enough.

can't be power related, since at 1st your PSU must be enough, 2nd same issue happend with your old mx 440 VGA. card malfunction are dismissed as possibility as well since its work fine in another machine.
think its drivers mess. ATI drivers(or part of them) still exist, guess is not completely removed. same symptoms happend many times when switching between Ati to NV, lagging 2D scrolling lag and etc, caused by ATI Smart (part of ATI Drivers) sometimes remain(survive after driver cleaner).
suggest you a new clean fresh OS installation. like Nv support already directed. also ensure in BIOS, in "Integrated Peripherals", "Init Display First" are configured to AGP.
let we know how its going, if problem persist we a ready with a tips to resolve your issue.

What is the exact message that you're referring to when you say that After Effects "reports that this GPU is incompatible"? Is it just saying that it won't use this GPU for the CUDA acceleration of the ray-traced 3D renderer? If so, the only thing that you'd be missing is GPU acceleration of one feature.
