Set up scan, can it be repeated?

During set up, the printer printed a page with the rows and columns of coloured lines. I was then asked to place it on the glass and scan it. After I took it out, I realised I had put it in the wrong way round (still print side face down.) I am concerned that would effect the print quality of the machine. I tried to re-do it but the back button wouldn't let me go back. Is it possible to re-scan that page? Do I need to? and if so, how do I do that?

Thanks for reaching out to the HP Forums, and welcome! I'd like to help.
If the printer passed the alignment test, there is no need to perform it again. If you are unsure, or if you would feel better performing the alignment a second time you may use the steps below (you will need to print a fresh alignment page);
On the printer control panel, press the Down Arrow () to select Tools, and then press OK.
Press the Down Arrow to select Align Printer, and then press OK. The printer prints a test page, and then prompts you to scan the page.
Lift the scanner lid, and then place the page on the glass according to the instructions on the alignment page.
Close the scanner lid, and then press OK.

My main functions are printing and scanning -- the functions of my business. First, my connection and set-up overview: Stand alone OfficeJet 8610 connected through a Belkin router and an Amped Wireless repeater home network. Home system consists of a MacBook Pro, iPad and Android Tablets, iPhones and one Windows laptop. Set-up for printing from all devices happened without problems. My problems came when I wanted to scan. In trying to set up to scan, I came to the understanding that I needed to establish a path for the printer/scanner to communicate back to a folder setup to be a Network Folder on the computer. I just turn it on. I’ve tried resetting my password in “System Preferences” on my MacBook Pro.     Welcome to the HP Community , I came across your post about the error message “Incorrect credentials. Check your username/password and try again", you are noticing on your Officejet 8610 when trying to set up scan to a network folder.     How do I set the scan rate on this VI? I added a counter to just to see the time between acquisitions, and it is roughly 4s for only 4 channels. The Notch Filter is set at 60, but is there a control for scan rate on this example. I'd like to acquire around 1 Hz.

    Using this DAQ example, it may be easiest to simply place a wait function in the loop and software time when the data is extracted from the board. You can also take a look a the NI-435x pallette and the examples it ships with, along with the timing specs on page 3-3 of the 435x manual and set the filters to meet your needs:

I've seen the posts for FTP workarounds but want to use SMB if that is an option. Any suggestions? Thank you!

    The issue has nothing to do with the format of the user authentication. What you are reading is about the Lion Mac connecting to a Windows computer that is part of domain or workgroup. The method changed slightly compared to Snow Leopard.
    KM does support FTP so that is still an option, but I would ideally would like to set up SMB scanning. I'm not sure if KM is going to support AFP anytime soon.
    With the lack of SMB support and KM offering no alternative at this stage then I suggest you look at using FTP. While Lion removed the option to enable FTP via the Sharing pane in System Preferences, it can still be enabled via Terminal using the following command
    sudo -s launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/ftp.plist
    You will be prompted to authenticate using your Mac's admin account & password. Once this is done, you can then configure the address on the copier to push scan using FTP. The keys are;
    The host name requires just the IP address. No leading slashes like SMB
    The path will be the folder that you want to scan to, also entered without a leading slash. For example, Desktop
    The user name will be the short name of the account who's folder you want to scan to.
    The only other option may be WebDAV if the KM supports it. We have this with our imageRUNNER ADVANCE and with a document scanned to a shared folder in the copier hard drive, we can then connect to that folder by using Finder's > Go > Connect to Server facility. You then just enter
    http://ipaddress/share
    which connects you to the shared folder and lets you see the document you scanned. You also have the facility to set subfolders for security of users documents.

    Hi,
    Create another repeating frame as parent frame of current repeating frame, and with same source. Then put all heading in this parent frame, set Maximum Record per Page = 1.

    iCloud should still help you reduce some hard drive space. Just select "optimize" in the icloud tab in Mac Photo App preferences.
    Granted, not the same as completely offloading your library to a back-up drive at your location.

    1. Basically I am taking photos with a monochrome setting with my 5D and the screen shows monochrome.
    2. when i import this onto my computer and open with PS, it opens in colour.
    3. when I change this to Monochrome in PS. (It cannot read my monochrome setting with my preference of the greyscale mix when I viewed it on my 5D)

    you need camera raw 6.7 or better.
    i don't know what version of ps you have so i can't say if it can be updated to use that, but update anyway.

    If you mean that you aren't getting the reset link, then from the page that you posted from :
    Note: The option to send an email to reset your security questions and answers will not be available if a rescue email address is not provided. You will need to contact iTunes Store support in order to do so.

    When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 page that you posted from to add a rescue email address for potential future use

    I've looked at that, but on my PC, "look for remote speakers connected with airtunes" isn't an option.
    The only options I get are "prevent ipods [etc] from syncing automatically" , "warn me when [X %] of the data on this computer will be changed" and "forget all remotes". Its also got a list of backups I have saved, as well as a button to reset sync history.
    When I am playing a song, the "airplay" button isn't even visible.
    I am sure that the apple tv setting is on as well. Is there anything else you can help me with?
