You could try configuring rate control rules (under System Management>Bandwidth Management) to "rate limit" the traffic (in terms of TCP/UDP port numbers) from specific IP address (or range). But this may not be sufficient for your need.

Reserve Bandwidth for a vlan

It seems that it is not possible to reserve a bandwidth for a specific VLAN. these APs are layer 2 devices with limited capabiltites.

Setting up a Test Voice VLAN for Lync 2013

I want to set up a second voice vlan to be a test vlan.
In the current situation the customer has voice and data running on vlan1. The customer insist on taking incremental steps to improve QoS. I have advocated separated vlans for voice and data. They just want to move everything (phase 1) to a different
vlan. They want to see how getting all traffic of vlan 1 will improve there performance. Again, I recommended the best practice, they want to try this approach first.
I am conducting a pilot test with just one cx600 IP phone. and a single switchport. I created a new vlan99 using VTP. I configured the switchports on the Cisco 2960-x switch as follows.
#switchport mode access
#switchport access vlan 99
The phone gets its correct vlan id, and pulls its IP from the correct dhcp scope. However the phone displays "connecting with the lync server" for a long time, then "connecting to download its certificates". This takes a long time then fails.
If I change the switchport back to vlan1 it works fine. What can be the problem? Does the vlan99 need to be defined on the lync server? How many vlans can be supported by Lync 2013?

1. From your Printer's Preferences uncheck the Borderless check box (if checked already).
2. After launching the Print dialog, click on More Option button, then under Printing choice tab make sure that Border section has all check box unchecked.
3. Uncheck the "Crop to Fit" check box if it is checked.

I need some help saving time! I have lots of .groovy files that my apple doesn't know how to open and i have to select a default opening application for every single file! Is there a way to do this for multiple files or for a certain file type? thanks!

Sure. Click on a file, and then go to File-Get Info (or CMD-I) In the box that pops open, choose the app you want the .groovy files to open with, and click change all. That should do it.

Is there any way to set Firefox to remember history for a certain amount of time rather than all or nothing?

In previous versions, there was a choice to remember browsing history for a certain number of days, but in the current version the only choices seem to be to remember history or not remember history, with no way to customize in between. I don't want to have to clear my history and cache manually all the time, but I don't want it cleared every time I close my browser, either. Has the customization feature been removed entirely or am I missing something? And if it's been removed entirely, could it please be brought back? It's helpful for people who want their older browsing history to be deleted without deleting the entire history.

There is an option of EDT, estimated time of delivery, which I set, but finally the most important aspect and huge problem

If I do change time, the workflow coming back with year 2020 as my next time available
The job planners don’t see me as available and they are not sending me any job because for them I do not exist
I was asking my manager to create a new driver number and this should fix the problem but he is ignoring me
I was calling support ITT but they just reloaded the workflow to my QUALCOMM, but now I’m seating in the truck without any job and this is tragic, I’m not paid

It can be a bit tricky to get the best out of iChat once you get to this stage.
Both ends should open the Connection Doctor from the Video Menu in the menu bar.
This will allow you to compare the Local and Buddy Bit rates and Frame rates as they appear on each end.
What we are looking for is where one end says they are sending at a different rate to what the Buddy is seeing their video and Audio data arriving at.
Yes it is better as a first step that both ends try the Quicktime setting at 1.5mbs as this is the least capped.
Stabilising can take place in the Bandwidth Setting of iChat if needed.
Sometimes it does pay to try the Quicktime setting at the Download speed the person has.
If one end thinks thay are sending faster then the Buddy sees it then we have to look at the ISP and in some cases the processor and what it is doing.
Widgets especially those that use the Internet can be a problem as can downloads and other factors.
Certain ISPs cap or "manage" the data flow outside of what shows up in Speedtests. Little can be done about this apart form complaining to them.

Design the New process set up for Materials in one physical stock plant

Hi Experts,
The requirement is one physical plant as two different logical plants in the system. The main issue is how to administrate or how to find the set up which allows one Physical warehouse in Hamburg which we have supplying two Logical warehouses in the system without having thru really physically separate the warehouses into two different ones. Materials physically will be only for one warehouse.
Requirement is for Design the New process set up for Materials in one physical stock serving plant into two different system plants.
Most of the things are pointing in the direction that order Backlogs will not be converted into new organization. We have backlogs for the material requirements for purchase orders, sales orders whatever we have in the current setup; then there will have all are new orders from the certain dates taking in the new organization set up. These backlogs are very long at least three to four years.
We would like to find some way to have the all the material requirements ending up in one basket instead of two baskets. That still be able to deliver at least in system point of view from two different baskets.
We need to do analysis on one physical stock serving plant into two different system plants that could be done either by material master data or as i understood that could be from PS side.
can any one please tell me how we can maintian this setup in the system.
Please provide your valuable inputs.

Sorry, the creation of such an end-to-end solution is outside the scope of an online forum. Most consulting companies would send a multi-disciplinary team to perform this task, and would take several weeks to research your requirements, and come up with a prototype.

I will say this. If your goal is to have two plants, with two company codes, and you wish to only procure or produce in one of the plants, then generally I would recommend using Special Procurement via Stock Transport Order (in standard SAP, Special Procurement 40). This based on a very small knowledge of your requirements. I have already cited the Sap online help for special procurement.

Password security - set permissions for different users

I am using Abobe Acrobat 9 Pro.
In the HELP menu, there is a security section in the contents, In the overview, it states the following:
"Each security method offers a different set of benefits. However, they all allow you to specify encryption algorithms, select the document components to encrypt, and set permissions for different users."
I would like to know how you can set permissions for different users using Password Security.
I am the only one in the company who has Acrobat 9 Pro and all others have Adobe Reader 8.
I have created a PDF file in Acrobat 9, this file is accessible to anyone with Abobe Reader. I would like to set different permissions for different users. For example, i would like certain individuals to print the document and other individuals to not be allowed to print. Can this be acheived using Password Security?

In general in the material master record you can, hide display or optional for a field, but there are certain feilds should be mandatory for material creation,like base unit of measure,material description,and price contro,l valuation price,valuation class,without this you cannot create a purchase order.
If you dont want to the price control means go for mateial type non valuated material NLAG. because the price control is mainly linked with the material valuation. based on the the price control the price difference will post either sock account or price difference account.

Hi,
When you create repository to upload documents in knowledge management administration there are certain features are displayed which you can define for your repositories. So, please check there if country option is available. I would prefer to create different repositories for different country as administration will becomes eaiser.

How to create a validation for a certain document number range?

Good Day!
May I just seek assistance on how to limit a certain document number range from normal posting via F-65?
The scenario is I would like to restrict, say for example Document Number range 07 from transaction FBV1. How do I create a validation for that? I was thinking what to put up in the Check field in the validation.
This is how I set up the pre-requsite for the validation rules:

Scenario: User would like to restrict the transaction FBV1 from posting to a GL account group (e.g. G007) ?
I checked the list of tables and fields in validations, but it seems that the GL account group is not part of the list.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
