Setting port exceptions for Windows Firewall via GPO. Is there a limit on the number of exceptions that can be set?

We would like to utilize GPOs to manage our Windows Firewall rule set. We have servers that have different requirements (HL7 connections, other programs) and our doctrine is to only open ports that are going to be used.
We need to be able to audit and enforce these standards, so GPOs seem to make the most sense to me.
The problem I am running into is when I attempt to define multiple Windows Firewall Inbound Port Exceptions. (More than 10) After "Applying and Okaying" I will go to verify the firewall rule-set but I find that quite a few of them are missing. It
seems like I am limited to 8-9 port exceptions per GPO.
I am unable to locate any documentation about this, but we can work around this by creating multiple GPOs.
Has anyone run into this issue before?

No, unfortunately. Our main server FW exception GPO contains 44 rules
with port or program exceptions, and it works flawlessly...

I am writing the CSS code for my website and the CSS is being interpreted correctly by Chrome but is not even being read by Mozilla Firefox. When I use firebug, I can see that the classes appear in the HTML code but are not interpreted in the CSS.
The code for this page was recently added, which puts it on the bottom part of my CSS file. The CSS file has over 2.000 lines. Is it possible that Mozilla Firefox is limiting the number of lines it reads? If so, should I split the code in two or three CSS files (what is the limit per file)?

I don't think it's an issue of file length, however, as a test you could revert to your previously working file and place all the new CSS in a new file, and see whether that makes any difference.
If you clear the error console and reload the page, do you get any unexpected style warnings? By unexpected, I mean things other than, for example, -webkit-transform is not recognized and is being dropped. Illogical messages can indicate an unnoticed typo.

The only limit is that of the device. No restrictions on how much of it you can use for music. Is part of your music library unchecked?

Is there a limit to the NUMBER of songs on flash card for Nomad I

I was wondering if there is a limit to the NUMBER of songs on the flash card for a Nomad IIc. I have the following:
Nomad IIc 28mb(? that's what info said, I thought it was 64mb)
Model: DAP-282
Firmware: .07
Smartmedia card: 28mb
Creative Playcenter 2: 2.52.8
I have a lot of very small mp3s, just tried to download more mp3s to the flash card. The card has 77MB free. Well Creative Player 2 transfer says it's transfering the file, but it never completes. Also Creative Player hangs. The Nomad IIc ends up with 254 songs and I can't load any more. Despite 77mb free on the card.

PS. I also cannot order songs on the internal memory. I order them in Playcenter but they don't stay ordered on the player. However, I can reorder them on the flash card and they stay in order on the player. Any ideas?

I have playlists with several thousand songs, so if there is a limit it's very large.

Is there a limit of the number of pages for an org chart in Visio 2013?

I created an org chart in Visio 2013 by importing data from an Excel file. It created 300 pages. Besides opening & saving the file very slowly, it functioned as I expected (i.e. layed out the chart properly & links worked to drill
between pages). I needed to visit each page to clean up the layout (i.e. add spacing, change layout, etc). After fixing approx 130 pages, Visio shut down unexpectedly. Fortunately I had been saving regulary. I reopened the file
and continued working. It then would shut down after updating every 25 pages or so. The file size is 5.3 MB. I'm running Windows 7 with 4 GB RAM. Is there a limitation to the number of pages before Visio becomes unstable?

Is there a limit to the number of columns in a spreadsheet to be used for Data Merge?

I need 60 fields for each record - my test data of 6 records adds random breaks when exported as a txt file, causing it not to merge correctly and create many extra records with varying fields (about 214 records) when merged.
I read somewhere it was 20 but this seems rather limiting! I did try reducing my document to 20 column records but I am still having issues with the txt file breaking the record up into mulitple record lines. I have removed the line breaks from the spreadsheet.

I've done just over 40 before. If you are getting line breaks and/or bad importing it is usually due to something amiss in a cell. Usual culprit is line breaks in a cell. Missing headers or illegal characters in a header can cause a breakdown at import as well.
I would recommend opening the csv in a good text editor to review the data for line breaks first thing. Oh, and I always use tab delimited as well. A misplaced or missing quote mark (iif used in the text of a cell can also cause an import failure.
Each line in a good Excel export when opened should begin with the data in your first column. If not, that indicates a line break in some cell.

We would like to disable the usb selective suspend setting on our Windows 7 computers and can not find a way to do it without having to touch every computer.
Is there a registry setting or GPO setting we can change to make this easier.
We tried this registry entry and did not work. It seems it is only for Vista/XP

Is there a limit to the number of reserve IP addresses for Time Capsule?

Yes, there is.. if you have hit 25 and no more are allowed then that is the limit.. All routers have limited internal memory to handle things like DHCP reservations... so there is always limits.. !! I don't remember apple ever gives a number.. but people I am sure will have reported them.
I will do a search... nope .. in 5min I cannot find anything so it must be hidden pretty deep.
I do know there is a 50 user limit.. That should mean 50 active users..
Please also do remember this is a domestic level router.. for most people setting 25 clients to dhcp reservation (allowing another 25 dynamic) would be way beyond the average usage apple intended the TC for.

Mine too. I "finally" got an iphone and supposedly stepped up to the now. I got an iphone 4 as it was free and I don't need every gadget available. I like some of the features, but Blackberry could teach them how to be user-friendly. And having to keep adding my kids back to my contacts is getting old. I have had to do this about 20 times and I only got the stupid thing at the end of July. Not amused and probably the last apple product I will ever own.

You can't one way or the other. Serial numbers are platform specific and platform swaps only apply to current versions, meaning you have to upgrade to CS6 and make the switch.
