Setting up multiple frequency options from the drop-down menu on the subscriptions button

I have set up four sponsorship (subscription) options using the drop-down menu on the subscription button. Sponsor an:orphan for $35 at monthly frequencywidow for $50 at monthly frequencyorphan for $420 at yearly frequencywidow for $600 at yearly frequency I have checked the settings for the button and the yearly frequency is definitely selected for the two last options, but when the button is clicked the PayPal landing page recognises the monthly frequency only. Is it possible to have two sets of frequency within the one set of options?

You can use that list and open the previous tab just above the one that appears bold and has a bullet.
The current active entry has a bullet in front of it. 
If you hover an entry in the tab session history list with the mouse then you see an arrow at the left side pointing left (Back) or right (Forward) to show the direction. 
You can left click an item to open it in the current tab or middle-click or Ctrl left-click an entry in that list to open that link in new tab, just like you can with other links.

Cannot remove autocomplete entry from address bar; have already cleared history, and entry is not in the drop-down menu of the address bar either.

I am having problems removing an autocomplete entry from my address bar; I have tried clearing my history, so it's no longer in that, and I do not have it bookmarked either, so it's not getting the URL from that location either. The autocomplete entry isn't even showing up in the drop down menu, so I can't even scroll through that to delete it.
Basically, I want to be able to type "st" and go to "store.steampowered.com"; however, despite numerous times of typing in "st" and then going down into the drop-down menu to choose "store.steampowered.com", the bar continues to autocomplete "steamtrades.com", which is exceptionally annoying because I do not have that website bookmarked, or in my history, yet it continues to autocomplete to that address, which I do not want it to autocomplete to, and cannot figure out how to remove because I've already cleared my history multiple times, do not have it bookmarked, and it is not showing up in the drop down of the address bar for me to go down and force delete it.

Did you try to remove some letters from steamtrades.com to see if that bring this entry up in the drop-down list?
If it is not in the history then it might be present with a typed=1 flag indicating that you have typed or pasted it in the location bar.
You can use the SQLite Manager extension in Firefox to inspect the places.sqlite file to see if this entry comes up in the moz_places table.

How do I alphabatize all my bookmarks from the drop down menu with the star on the Right side of screen?

I want to alphabatize all my bookmarks that are in the drop down menu, the menu with the star icon, on the right side of the screen. I do not want to put them in folders or view them in the box from the menu bar and all the answers pertain to that box, and not to the one with the star. Thank you

I don't think it's possible from the toolbar button.
However, the action you take in the Bookmarks Sidebar or in the Library dialog will affect the Bookmarks Menu everywhere it is displayed, including the toolbar button, so you only need to use it for the few moments needed to use Sort By Name and then close it.
Bookmarks Sidebar (either):
* View menu > Sidebar > Bookmarks
* Command+b
Library dialog (either):
* Bookmarks menu > Show All Bookmarks
* Command+Shift+b

You may have bookmarks that have long title. Firefox 4 shows the full text of the bookmark name, so if it doesn't fit with opening to the right side the Firefox will open to the left side. You can scroll through the list and make the bookmarks with a long name shorter.

How do I double space a document in Pages. The instruction say to use the Line Spacing control in the format bar, but there is NO Line Spacing control in the drop down menu under Format. I'm writing a novel and I am having to manually double space after every line. It is **** when I am trying to edit my work.

The computer is not too old (and neither are you ). It may be better if you could upgrade it from 10.5.8 to 10.6 ... but that would not solve this problem.
As both Paul and I have advised ... get yourself on Pages > go to the View menu and halfway down is the option 'Show Inspector'. You'll end up with a panel like Paul showed you in his post of 08:42. Let's see what you can do from there.

How do I turn off the drop-down menu on the back button?

I use a laptop and my hands aren't too dextrous. Every time I click the "back" button I get the drop down menu, which means I then need to move my hand back to the pad (slowly!) move the pointer, and try again. It can take me several attempts to go back one site now!
I have searched for hours to find out how to turn this drop down menu off, to no avail, and even looked through all the settings in about:config in an attempt to find a way around this. It seriously impacts my ability to use my laptop on the web now, so if anyone can please come up with a way to get back to the old back button, with no menu when my slow old finger cannot move fast enough to get off the button, I would be very grateful.

How do I delete something from the drop-down menu of the URL bar. I went there accidentally and don't want it in the list.

I directly typed what I thought was the correct URL into the URL box. It took me to a site different from where I was wanting to go. Now that site's URL is in the list of URL's in the drop-down box. Is there some way of deleting this from the drop-down list? It seems to me that there used to be a way to do this--a small x on the right side of each site's URL in the list. After one of the updates this was no longer there.

Show/hide fields when selecting an option from a drop-down menu.

I have a question about creating a Java Script withing Acrobat pro. This is what i would like to do: I created a drop-down menu with several selection entries. Upon the customer making one of the selection entries, i would like for the correct fields that i created to become visible and all other fields to hide. Is this even possible to do? The reasoning behind this is because we have a form that customers have to generate in order to request access to certain financial accounts; we have over 20 different types of accounts and for each instance the customer has to fill out the same form. By creating a drop down menu, i can use the same form by just changing the drop-down selection and clicking on the designated fields for that selection. At this time i have over 20 different forms that poing to 20 different account requests and i would hate to send the form 20 different times to one person. The reason i can not add all fields desired for all accounts is due to the fact that the form would be filled with hundreds of checkmarks and instructions thus making the process too tideous for the customer. Hope you guys can help out.

The good news is, it can be done (and it has been done).
There are a few things to be aware of, however.
The most important is that the form must be planned well, which means that you must think carefully about your logic and even more so about your field naming (hierarchical field names are your friend). One fundamental issue, you have to be aware of, is that this form no longer will be a "standard form". The consequence of this is that you may have to be aware that you might get into trouble when you have to prove that your user filled out that particular standard form (talk to your compliance and forms management people about that).
You also may have to decide whether the form should be usable in Reader. And, if so, how much you want to spend on the right to do so. You will see below why…
There are actually two approaches for dynamically showing/hiding parts of a form. If your form can be separated between a fixed first page (where you also have the account type selection), and a variable part (depending on the selection), you could use Templates, which you spawn according to the selection, and delete pages when you change the selection. This approach is very easy to implement, but requires Reader Extensions Server to allow it to work in Reader; Acrobat Pro's extended rights are not sufficient for that.
The other approach is showing/hiding fields. If you did your homework well, it would be very easy to first hide all subsequent fields, and then show the ones you need in two lines of code. This approach does not require extended rights for Reader at all, as long as your forms will always have the same number of pages, for each of your account types. This approach also works for the cases where the differences between the individual forms are very small. It does also work for showing/hiding bigger chunks of the form. In that case, you might create the "background" separately, and then put it as an icon into a button field which you will show/hide together with the carefully placed on top of it active fill-out fields.
There is a third possibility, which Adobe Propaganda probably would suggest, and that woudl be subforms in LiveCycle Designer. The consequence is, however, that you won't have PDF forms, but proprietary XFA forms instead. And you may have more developing and maintenance work than with the other approaches.
Back to your original question: you could use a Keystroke script evaluating event.changeEx of the combo box field. Depending on that, you would run your action to set up the according form part. The other way to do it would be evaluating event.value in the onBlur event. The latter would have the advantage that the selection has been made, and you get a bit more time to set up the form (this may in fact be an issue, particularly with Acrobat 9 and 10, which may take their time to show/hide fields).
Another possibility instead of a drop down (combo box field) would be a popup, where you would have a button to press, and the list of selections pops up. This second method uses app.popUpMenuEx().

To the right of the forward/back arrows there was a drop down arrow that would allow you to see the last several stops you had made after doing a search. This was very handy for going back and forth between articles, etc. '''I used it all the time and want it back. The Back/Forward button drop-down arrow marker was removed from Firefox.

I've filled everything out in the change settings page but still can't figure out how to get my choices to show up. I see it now. Thank you, Phillip. I read the help page before, but I think it would help if that page pointed out that the options you have selected will appear at the bottom of the list of suggestions after you type a search in the box. Also that would have been clearer if I did not select give suggestions. The key point for my understanding was that I had to type a search first in order to get the options to appear, which is the opposite of how it worked before. Definitely fix that help page to make that part clear. And thanks again, so much.

You can also get the drop-down list by holding down the left button until the list appears.

How can I stop Firefox clicking when I select an option from a drop-down menu? It's bloody annoying.

When I select an option from the pull-down menus, or a link from right-clicking on the forward or back buttons, it makes a click sound. I'm using this on a machine that I use for recording and I don't want clicks on my soundtrack. How can I turn it off - I've looked through about:config and preferences but haven't seen any way to select or disable such a feature.

It could be a Ubuntu Studio sound preference. You may have to turn off mouse click sound effects in the system.

How do I keep the drop down menu in the navigation bar open without continuously holding the mouse button down?

When I use the mouse to hover over the naviation bar, I can see it, but once I select a drop down like bookmarks, I have to continuously hold the mouse button down until I move it to the bookmark I want, then I release the mouse button to select the bookmark.
