Settlement cost of an order

Hi friends,
Is there any way i see the settlement cost in any of the reports?
In IW39 i am able to get the settlement cost in the report but the cost is shown as zero.
Is there any other standard report available.
Thanks in advance

  • TX CNS41 - settled cost from internal order to WBS element not displayed

    Hi PS Expets,
I have a question regarding transaction CNS41 "Structure Overview" where cost settled from an internal order is not displayed in in the report for a selected project. This is in a ECC version 5.0
Settled costs from internal orders are posted with transaction type KOAO on WBS elements and when you check report RCNSTFCO you can see that the following transaction types are deselected when executing transaction CNS41:
delete t_rpsco_m where vorga = 'KOAO' "<   insert
or vorga = 'KOAL' "<   insert
or vorga = 'KOAP' "<   insert
or vorga = 'KOAQ' "<   insert
                          or vorga = 'KOAR'."<   insert
      CALL FUNCTION 'HFPM_RPSCO_TO_RPSCO_LIS_CONV'
This is implemented according to OSS note 51971 in order to eliminate internal business volume in the project structure when executing a PS hierarchy report.
But this also eliminate the display of the cost  from the internal order.
Any ideas or a work around in order to display settled cost from an internal order on a WBS element in transaction CNS41
    Kind regards,
    Anne

    Hello Tison.
I guess you have the Project created with a BAPI in your system in background. As far as I have seen I'd try the following in ABAP to create Partners in the Project Definition: BAPI_BUS2001_PARTNER_CREATE_M or the corresponding method ProjectDefinitionPI.PartnerCreateMultiple. This should happen in background when the Project is created also.
    Best regards.

  • WBS settled cost in sales order

    Hi,
We settlele the WBS to Sales order and where we can see the settled cost in sales order.
    Kindly suggest.
    Thanks,

    Dear Sudha,
You can check if the costs are transferred from WBS element in CJI3 (you will see a credit posting for the WBS element)
You can check if the costs are debited to the Sales Order using KVBI (you wlll see a debit posting for the Sales Order item)
Note: Cost elements that you see could be a settlement cost element /original cost element based on the allocation structure used.
    Kind Regards

    4. overhead etc

    6. actual value
Can i settle the actual cost of production order to Fixed Asset ?
    If yes
what are process kindly give me if any process other then the below
    1.production order created
    2. settlement profile - FA is settlement optional
    3. allocation structure
    4. Asset created
5 define asset in settlement rule
Kindly give me your valuable input
    regards
    elango

    Hi,
Although i am not CO expert , please check with your FICO consultant who are expert before make the final call.
During settlement to a G/L account or a fixed asset, the system ignores additional account assignments that were manually specified in the distribution rule.
Based on what i know .
you can stipulate that settlement may be made to cost centers and orders, but not to fixed assets.
The Settlement profile is something that you need to create a settlement rule to settle the actual costs of a sender object.
About the Settlement rule is something that  contains the distribution rules for the sender. It will define how the way to settle the cost.
    Allocation Structure
In the settlement structure you combine the primary and secondary cost elements into groups, in which debits are then posted to the sender objects. For each group, you specify whether (for settlement to a given receiver type) settlement is performed
by cost element or using a settlement cost element.
For example, you might use settlement cost elements:
To document the purpose of an order (such as, repairs or maintenance)
To reduce data volumes (you can combine a number of debit cost elements
    under one settlement cost element).

  • To see the cost of production order  after settlement to header material

    hello guys,
In make to stock,we settle the total cost of prodution order on header material, right(if we keep as the default rule( distribution rule in order type)?
If i want to see that cost of production order which we settled against the header material, where should i check it?should i check in material account or somewhere else?
             Thanking you guys in advance.

    Dear,
There is a little missunderstanding in your thought.
If the material of price control S, When you do the GR, the STD cost of material is deducted from production order cost, then when you settle the production order, the variance is settled to variance account/PD account. hence the production order cost balance is zero.
Example- Production order cost is 60000
After GR the production order cost balance is 60000-50000 = 10000.
After settlement production order cost balance is zero.
Now your question is where can i see the production order cost?
You can see the production order cost in the production order itself.
In the production order...cost disply option just filter the origin with test settlement and GR.
Then total up the cost, then you can see the cost as 60000.
please come back if you need more help.

  • Internal Order Report  S_ALR_87012993 showing settled cost

    HI ,
The issue here is related to IO report  S_ALR_87012993 showing up settled cost against a particular Cost Element/GL account. However when we use the drill down function it says "No actual Line Item exist". I have checked the line item details for that particular GL account which does not have any posting to it with the said IO and moreover no FI Posting is done to that GL account during that relevant period. Hence the IO report is showing up variance .
I have checked the Settlement documents for  that period for the said IO (Table AUAK ) through Transaction Code KOB8 , but none of these settlement indicates that particular Cost element/GL Account.
I have executed KOB1 which does not show up any line item with the said combination.
Any idea why the system /report showing up such settlement to that particular Cost Element/GL account which does not have any Actual Line Item posted with that particular IO.
    Regards
    Jaydip

This is very very strange. Are you sure is not facing some profile problems to view information ?
KOB1 and S_ALR_87012993 have the same information: actual.
When you run settlement, it goes to inventory delivery account or to wip account depends on order status.
Sometimes people set a different account for settlement.
Check the balance account in transaction FS10N/FBL3N it must be the same because FI and CO are balanced for this account.

  • Settle part of production order to cost center

When settling a production order, the balance of some accounts in the production order should be settled to a certain cost center (the rest of the order balance settle to material).  The requirement is to settle the balance amount while settlement rule in a production order only allows settle by percentage or amount.  Please let me know if there is any solution.  Thanks~

    Hi Sharon
I dont know if this would be possbile because a Prod Order created for a Valuated Mat will always have MAT as settlement receiver
however, give a try as below
    1. In your Settlement Profile - Assign a Source Structure
    2. In the Source Str - Create 2 Assignments, say, 10 & 20
10 - Include all the Cost elements which should settle to Cost Center... Specify
20 - All others which should settle to MAT
    3. In your allocation structure, allow both CTR/MAT as allowed receivers
    4. While creating settlement rule in Prod Order - Create 2 settlement rules
    a. In One settlement rule, Choose the Source Str Assignment 10 and Specify Cost Ctr as Settlement Receiver
    b. In 2nd settlement rule, this will be auto generated by the system to MAT... Choose the Source Str Assgn 20 here

  • Settling of Cost for Production Order via WBS Element

    Hi Gurus,
Just would like to briefly understand, how I can make use of the WBS Element in the Production Order (Assignment tab) to use as cost settling for a production order? How do i automate the WBS Element in the production Order for a set of given parameters? Is there a config I can use to set a profile?
I have a scenario here as below:
I have various types of production orders:
    PO 1 = Production A
    PO 2 = Production B
    PO 3 = Production C
And for each of the above, I will individually have a WBS Element.
    PO1 - WBS Element A
    PO2 - WBS Element B
    PO3 - WBS Element C
And WBS Element A, B and C is a Level 2 WBS Element which are tied to WBS Element Z (Level 1 WBS Element), which will be settled to a project.
Appreciate your kind feedback on the above on how I can make it work in the PP Order.
    Thanks.
    Rgds.

    Hi Manoj,
I need to understand your process in more detail.
How do you procure?  Create a sales order with TAS item category to create a PReq and PO?
Very simple explanation: Resource Related billing/DIP profiles are used to accumulate costs on WBS elements and then bill the client as needed.

  • WIP  to  cost of sales order  to settlement

    Dear Experts,
Can you look at this issue
What are the steps we need to do WIP  to  cost of sales order  to settlement
    Thanks
    Bhaskar

    Hi
You should follow following steps for Order Settlement after confirmation :
    1. After Final Confirmation of Order ( Status : CNF) T.Code:CO15  make GR for for order using Tcode : MB1A / MB31 so Production Order Status will be DLV.
    2. Then complete the order technically by using Tcode : CO02--> Functions ( Menu)---> Restrict Processing -
    > Technically Complete. You can carry out TECO for multiple Orders in Tcode : COHV (Mass Processing).
3.Now Calculate Overheads using Tcode : KGI2 - Individual Processing
    CO43 - Collective Processing
4.Calculate WIP using Tcode : KKAX - Individual Processing
    KKAO - Collective Processing
5.Calculate Variance by using Tcode : KKS2 - Individual Processing
    KKS1 - Collective Processing
6.Finally do the settlement of Order in Tcode : KO88 - Individual Processing
    CO88 - Collective Processing
Note:(calculate WIP and Variance get posted during this step)

  • Posting settled internal order costs to PM Order

    Hi,
Our client doesn't have PM module upto now. So they posted all the maintenance costs to internal orders. All the internal orders are settled properly. Now they want to implement PM module. They want the costs previously posted in internal order should be reflected in PM orders.
How it will possible?  Any inputs please.. is the historical PM order helps???
    Regards
    Radha

    Radha,
    Technically speaking, yes its possible.
But do you know which costs were booked against each equipment?
Even if you do, then you will need to write an ABAP program to create PM orders and then move the costs from the settlement orders to the PM orders in the period thatg they were accrued. This is a big job.
If you only need a record of the equipment costs (ie not move the actual costs) then the simpler approach would be to use Historical Orders.

  • Product Costs by Sales Order - Settlement Options?

    Hello All -
I am trying to understand if I need to settle to a sales order (SDI) or directly to material (MAT) or to COPA (PSG).
If i look at my sales order, it has item category ZPSF, which product costs by sales order configuration shows a requirement class ZKE.  ZkE has a valuation of M, which means separate valuation of reference to sales document/project.
Does this mean I need to settle to sales order first?
Then i run vA88 to settle sales order to copa?
if ZKE valuation is blank, does that mean its not valuated?  I have read on other sap help pages that means it is valuated.  Please clarify.
also, when does one directly settle to MAT? what scenarios?  this confuses me.
    Thanks!
    Emmas

I'll give this a try. When working in a make-to-order environment there are 2 settings in the requirments class that you must consider in determining how to settle the costs (and maybe the revenue as well).  The first setting is the account assignment category.  In the standard system "E" is used to designate the sales order as a cost collector.  "M" is used to if you don't want the sales order to be a cost collector.  Whether the sales order is a cost collector or not will determine your settlement options.
The second critical field is the valuation setting.  If you set it to "M" then the stock assigned to the sales order will be valuated (by valuated I mean that once the goods are produced they will be held in inventory as sales order stock with a value).  If you leave the valuation field blank then the stock assigned to the sales order will be held in inventory without a valuation.
If the sales order is not a cost collector then the cost to manufacture the order will be collected in your production order and the settlement rule for the production order will be to the material you are producing.  Since the material has a valuation, the costs collected in the production will be reduced by the material's valuation once it is received into finished goods inventory.  Any remaining costs are settled to wip or variance based on the production order's status and the RA key and variance key settings.
If you have set the sales order as a cost collector then the production order costs can either settle to the finished material or to the sales order.  If you are using valuated sales order stock you would normal have the costs settle to the material and the production order would behave very much like the previous example.  If you are not using valuated stock then you would need to settle the costs to the sales order and all the production costs would accumalte in the sales order.
If you are using the sales order as a cost collector than you will probably want to settle the sales order as well.  During the sales order settlement you have the option of settling the cost and revenue assigned to the sales order to COPA.  The settlement profile along with the RA key assigned to the sales order controls how these are settled.

  • Without Production order confirmation How to settle the cost of prd order

    Dear all,
How to settle the cost production order with out production order confirmation.Any setting is there Or program.
    Regards,
    Naresh Redddy.

    Dear Naresh,
To settle the cost of production order, you need not to confirm it. But on the same time if you want to settle the order when its not confirmed then WIP amount will be posted. WIP value will be posted if your order does not have DLV or TECO status. In your case, if you not confirmed the order, only material cost if any issued for order will be calculated, no activity cost will be calculate. And if you want to post the variance then order status needs to be either DLV (Completely Delivered) or TECO (Technically Completed). Here also the cost of activity will not be considered as you didn't confirmed the order.
So if you want to settled the order without confirmation, then Activity cost will not be added in your settled cost. So your product costing will not be accurate.
Please revert if you have any other doubts.

  • Production order variance settlement to cost centers/internal order

    Hi,
I am looking to configure the settlement of production order variances to cost centers/internal order. Is there a way to do this in the settlement profile. Would appreciate your help.
    Thank you,
    Ram

OKO7 will allow you to configure the Settlement Profile by selecting valid receivers.
This should be done with/or by FICO.
    Then test, test, test
    award points if helpful

for Pm order settlement Man hour cost based on kp26 computed cost converted actual at the time of confirmation. At the time of settlement to concern cost center is debited but primary cost booking for (man hour) salaries not deducting the primary cost element. Here is salaries and manhours both is apprearing in the cost center. My client requirement is based manour activity cost deducted in salary primary element, they want that process. Dear Sudhakar,
salaries cost booked in administrative cost center with primary cost element salary a/c
but Activity type man hour is meant for per hour salary cost. we can specified in kp26
so when we take cost center report, we get salary amount and activity cost in admin cost center and product cost center for the same salary amount... for financial report requirment, if we use cost center report the salay amount appeared twice.
Please explain the activity cost against salay amount ..
