Settlement of Sale Order to Sale Order

Dear experts
I need help in the following scenario:
At my client place we are doing job work for external material. All the material are supplied by the customer and our client will do the processing and send it back to customer's customer on customers request.
To create Excise Invoice against the Customers Customer we are handling through 2 sale orders.
First One Sale order will be created against the Customer Order and Sale price will be the selling price of Customers to Customer.
Second Sale Order will be created for Job Work Charges for the processing the materials.
On settling the process orders all the cost is settling to Sale Order One, Clients revenue is coming from Sale Order Two.
Here I need to settle the First Sale Order to Second Sale Order. I have given the second sale Order number in first sale order number in Settlement rule.
But when I settle the First sale Order all the amount it going to Price Differance Account.
How to settle the Cost of First Sale Order to Second Sale Order?

Dear Experts

Can I go for Sale Order to Sale Order Settlement ?

  • Settlement of labour cost from sales contract order to CO-PA

    Hi Gurus,
Could you please explain how the calculation is made while settling the labour cost from sales cotract order to CO-PA.
    Thanks and Regards
    RC

    Hi,
Basically the labour cost will be contained in a cost element. When you settle the sales order to COPA your settlement profile will contain the PA transfer structure where the cost elements are mapped to the value fields. Accordingly the labour cost will flow into the value field in COPA.

  • Service order to sales order settlement

    Hi Team,
While settling service order to sales order via KO88, our Product Costs settled to one secondary cost element say-962100 & Labor Costs settled to secondary cost elemnt-say 968000. We need to pass journal entry for transfer labour cost to GL account manually.
Do we have any option to post enrty to GL account"salaries & wages" at the time of settlement itself.

    Hi,
I would like to describe the question in detail:-
We have a client requirement in one of business scenario of   u201CService order to sales order settlementu201D:-
    Business Scenario:
Customer sends goods for repair to us. We create a repair sales order and on saving the sales order u2013 it creates a service order.
Goods are issued and labor costs are booked on the service order.
Item is repaired and we bill the customer.
    At the month end,
    -     we settle the material cost and labor cost to repair sales order (hence matching cost with revenue from management books view)
    -     we settle repair sales order to COPA.
    Question/Issue:
When the labor cost is booked on the service order, the cost center gets the credit and costs are debited to the service order. However, from accounting perspective, the costs are still sitting on the SALARIES AND WAGES GL account.
What we need is to make an accounting entry for this labor cost to COGS u2013 OTHERS for all such labor cost booked.
    How can we achieve this?
    Thanks

  • Settlement Profile for Sales Order make to Order Production.

    Hi
This is the first time I am working for CO and I do have a very basic question:
When our settlement process is complete (production order and sales order both settled to COPA), there is a balance remaining on the sales order cost report which is equal to the manufacturing variance.
It seems that the manufacturing variance is posting from the production order to the sales order, but is not being assigned to the PSEG and flowing to COPA.
I do have all the screen shot and logical flow charts and I could e-mail to you for a quick glance.
    Thanks

I will take a look at your documentation - my email is on my profile business card.

  • Settlement rule for SO through sales order

    Hi,
In my scenario, service order is being created through sales order.Earlier we used to have default settlement rule for the service order as Profiltability segment. Now we  have changed as SD1-Sales document in the settlement profile.
Now If I create service order through sales order,in the service order settlement rule is not getting created and If I gone through IW32,its asking for With Default/Without Default. If I select with default, now its picking up the rule automatically.
why rule is not getting created during creation itself .
I though that in the sales order, first service order is getting created and at that time sales order number is not available and hence settlementy rule is not getting populated.
    Is it right?
    Regards
    KRISHNAN

    Hi Pete,
The system status is  CRTD MANC NMAT PRC.
People are suggesting that we can able to populate the settlement rule as SDI(Sales document Item) during creation of service order through sales order.(Also adding the point that after creation of sales order only service order is created with details of  Sales document number in the order header)
In that case why in my case its not pouplating?

  • Open Sales Balance on Sales order

    Hi SAP Group -
I have a couple questions about the settlement of manufacturing variance to COPA.
When our settlement process is complete (production order and sales order both settled to COPA), there is a balance remaining on the sales order cost report which is equal to the manufacturing variance on the production order.
It seems that the manufacturing variance is posting from the production order to the sales order, but is not being assigned to the PSEG and flowing to COPA.
I am looking for advice in two areas:
First, how do we "clear" these balances on old orders that are already settled?
Second, how do we prevent this from happening on future orders?

Refer to OSS 183250 and note 186485.
If you don’t specify in the settlement profile for the production order that the variances are not transferred from the production order into CO-PA, you will settle the variances to <b>CO-PA twice</b>: once from the production order (broken down into variance categories), and once from the sales order item. The settlement rule still references the material and not the sales order item.

You may want to check the period of the variance settlement from mfg order to sales order and ensure the settlement of sales order is also done the same period, if the type is PER.

  • Preli cost compo struc of production orders to sales orders -Non valuated

    Hi experts
We use Non valuated sales order cost/settlement and assembly order processing. So production order is created from sales order and prel cost estimate is created in the production order. Now we notice that the cost component struc in production order is not copied into sales order. Only the EK02 is copied with total cost.
How to bring cost compo struc from production order to sales order ?
This may be a special cost estimate with costing and Is it possible to bring cost compo struc to copa record type A or F.
I know standard cost compo mapping in copa but I could not see the costing variant used in production order in copa master data configuration.
    regards
    KT

If the sales order is not a cost object, you cannot cost in it, and you can therefor also not see the cost component split.
When you sell the material, you can pull through the cost component to PA, via the material master using the COPA valuation strategy. However, only the info for the material in the sales doc line item.
You don't link to a costing variant, you link using the above valuation strategy and the costing key. The costing variant sits inside the costing key.

  • Sales Order - Account Assignment - Order

Under account assignment at item level, the order field is applicable to internal orders but how is the field determined, is it using sales order type and customer or is it manually inputted? Where can I see this in IMG?

    Hello Garga Singh,
This internal Order type is used to determine Profit center (present in Account assignmnet tab). As per my knowledge determination of internal order in Sales order is not standard. You can use userexit for determination.

  • Difference Between Cahs Sales, Rush Order and Standard Order

    Hi gurus,
I want to know whole configration for rush order and difference between 1. Rush order and cash sales. 2. cash sales and standard order.
Would u please help me for this...
    Regards
    Prashant.

    Hi,
    1) Cash sale : in this delivery automatically happen when you save the sales order.  After that you have to give an invoice to the customer.
    2) Rush order. Here also delivery automatically happen when you save the sales order. But the difference is you can send invoice after some time but the delivery should happen immidately.
If you goto any super market first, you pick up the item and then pay the bill and then you will get the bill, this process is cash sales.
Cash sales is order related billing whereas RO is delivery related.
Cash sales is not relevant for availability check as you will be picking the goods whereas RO is relevant for availability check.
Cash sales is also not relevant for credit management whereas RO is relevant credit management.
Cash sales uses RD03 as output which immediately prints the invoice whereas RO uses standard output RD00.
Cash sales has one time customer account group where as RO normally doesn't.
For cash sales order type is BV or CS and for RO it is RO
Cash sales triggers petty cash a/c where as in RO customers account is debited.
Delivery and settlement will be done immediately in cash sales where as in RO only delivery will be done immediatrly.
    Rush Order/Cash Sales u2013
Rush orders and Cash sales are sales document types that are used in the sales from plant process or when the customer needs to pick their goods immediately from the warehouse.
In the sales document type, the following changes have to be made for rush order/cash sales u2013
    a. order type u2013 RO/CS
    b. shipping conditions u2013 immediately
    c. immediate delivery u2013 X
    d. lead time in days u2013 not to be specified
    e. delivery type u2013 LF/BV
    f. billing type u2013 F2/BV
    g. item category u2013 TAN/BVN
    h. schedule line category u2013 CP/CP
In case of rush orders and cash sales once the goods have been withdrawn from the warehouse, picking and posting goods issue can begin.
In case of rush orders, when you create the billing documents the system prints the invoice papers and sends them to the customer.
But in case of cash sales, an order related billing index is generated automatically. This updates the billing due list. Billing type BV is created, while the billing due list is being processed and the system does not print invoices during billing for a cash sale.
In cash sales when you save the order, the system automatically generates a cash receipt that can be given to the customer as an invoice and the goods are picked up from the warehouse immediately by the customer. You control the output with output type RD03, contained in the output determination procedure for order type CS.
    Best Regards,
    Amit

  • Production Order and Internal Order for each item of the sales order

    Hi
I am developing Make To Order Report where I have to display the MTO Line Items and non MTO Line Items. For non MTO Line Items I have to display Internal order with Planned and Actual Costs and also Production Order with Planned and Actual Costs. Could anybody tell how to get the Internal order no and production order with Planned and Actual costs for each line item for a sales order.
    Thanks
    Naga

    Hi,
You can get the Production orders, Planned orders, Internal orders generated for Sales order item from AFPO table (use fields KDAUF-Sales order number & KDPOS-Sales order item). Then to identify the order type use order category (AUTYP) from table AUFK.
Once you have the Production/internal order, you can ge the cost from COSS and COSP table. Use the object number from AUFK to get the cost entries from COSS & COSP.
You can use the following sample code as reference.
Hope this is helps.. (Don't forget to mark it... )

  • Planned Order creation for Sales Order and Purchase Order

    Hi
    We have a following requirement.
In normal scenario when we have demand for material  which was created by MD61 and in addition to that if there is Sales Order the 1st planned order gets revised. To better expalin this consider possible scenario
You create plan via MD61 for 200 qty .The system creates Planned Order for 200.
Now there is Sales Order for 150 peices. Then what happens is original  Planed Order of 200 is changed to 50 and another planned order is created for 150 peices. The requirement is not summed.
Now in new scenario instead of Sales Order there is Intercompany Purchase Order of 150 peices.
Now the system is not changing original Planned Order of 200,but it created another planned order of 150.So now there are 2 Planned Orders of 150 and 200.
What I want to know is there any way wherein the system will reduce the original planned order (similar to Sales Order scenario)
    Regards

    Hi,
Use Strategy 52 in urs case.
    PIR witll be created .
None convertable planned order will be created.
Once you get sales order for that material.
New planned order will be created which will consume PIR( planned order ).
    Eg.
    PIR 10.
    Planned order 10 qty.
    Sales oder 6
Planned order for SO 6 qty
Planned order through pir will become 4 qty.

  • Fields required for linking production order with sales order

I need to link production order and sales order to get the part no#. need to see in md04.

The link between production order and sales order can be made by using the KDAUF KDPOS fields of AUFK or AFPO and linking them to VBELN and POSNR of VBAP.

  • Open sales order and back orders

    hi ,
what is the difference between open sales order and back orders?
    thanks
    ganesh

    Hi Ram,
A open sales order  is the one which is not yet delivered that means u have only created a sales order and saved it( create a sales order, save it and see the document flow, the order shows as open)
Back order is also an order which is not completely fulfilled. may be because of the target quantity or because of not meeting the requested delivery date.
in this case you will pull back the required quantity from other sales order(open sales orders) this is done using T.Code CO06.
    cheers,
    anil.

Ok, I figured out a way to get around this. Import your iMovie file into a quicktime movie, then use that in your iDVD project. This retains both the audio in the iMovie file and also the chapter markers.
