Several separate numbered lists in one text thread?

I'm working on a booklet in which there are several numbered list that are independent of each other.
How do I set the numbering options so that there would be one list
(eg. A paragraph style, which is numbered, and then, inside the paragraphs there would go an independent numbered list, that starts at nro: 1 as well)?
I’m working with Adobe InDesign CC 2014.
The situ at the moment is as shown in the picture below. Eg. the list in the view should be numbered 1,2,3... and not 1,1,1...
And the option "Restart Numbers at This Level After:..." is not abled.

Keeping two separate Ipod lists in one ITunes program on one computer

Each of us has a separate Ipod, but share a computer. We like mostly the same tunes -- so have one ITunes library on the computer, but have some different tastes, so she has some tunes on her Ipod I don't like, and I have some on mine she doesn't like (so both of us use most but not all tunes in the library). We both want to keep separate track of our two Ipod lists in our computer in case (as has happened) an Ipod glitches and has to be reloaded. I can't get ITunes on the computer to accept the list of songs on my Ipod as a separate, permanent file. How can I accomplish this?

Numbered lists in text boxes automatically updating

I have seperate text boxes that are involved in numbered lists, and I want to be able to reorder the text boxes so that they automatically update the numbers within them. How do I do this?! As you can see when I move the text box containing 2.0 numbered list, the following numbers do not update. How do I create this updating numbered list in seperate text boxes?

If you mean the text function in the drawing toolbar, it isn't possible.
You should use frames.

Numbering list problem

I'm using a font which allows me to switch teh number case between Old STyle figures and Lining Figures. How? (The "A"-button then left-bottom-button and chose Typography - This only works with fonts like Didot, Junicode, Myriad Pro, Palatino Linotype).
However, when I chose a numbering list, Pages choses the Lining Figures and I cannot change them into Old Style figures.
Does anyone have a solution?

Are all of the question in one text thread or are they in separate
frames? If they are in separate frames, you're going to see the behavior
you have since the numbering is done based on the order they're created.

Red triangle/exclamation point on text thread

About a week ago, when I'd open up the menu listing all of my text threads with various people, I noticed a red triangle/exclamation point icon showing up next to the name of one person. A few days ago, I began experiencing trouble opening up this particular thread; I would just get the "loading" message. My friend has been able to send me texts, I just can't open them. Any idea what this might be and why it seems to be affecting only one text thread? Thanks!!

I ended up calleing tech support and the problem was that I had not deleted any of my texts and I didn't have enough space. I deleted old messages and the problem is solved.

Word 2013 - Bulleted list inside rich text content control

Hi,
I'm mapping a rich text content control to an xml node within my custom xml.
While i'm in design mode i try to format the text so that it will be a numbered list.
One thing that i noted though was that the numbers are placed outside the content control. This is only my first observation.
The thing is, the rich text(RTF) that is saved within the custom xml is later used to populate a second document. This works great except for one small issue. The numbered list is not showing up within the second document.
Would appreciate any help i can get with this issue.

Hi Peter
This is tricky, because...
By default, when you insert a new RichText content control it will not include the paragraph mark for the paragraph it's in. Numbering is a paragraph-level formatting.
If you work in Word, you can see this. Turn on the display of non-printing characters (the backwards P button in the "Home" tab of the Ribbon). Insert a RT content control and observe where the paragraph mark (backwards P) is in relation to the
CC's boundaries. Now press ENTER and observe that the paragraph mark is WITHIN the CC. Apply number formatting and you'll see that it's NOW inside the CC.
You can do this the other way around: apply the numbering then press ENTER. Again, it should now be within the CC.
This behavior is by-design. I would guess that lists the users type would have more than entry, so the numbering will be within the CC range when the custom XML is extracted?

How to create inconsistent numbered list style?

Can I create paragagraph style with inconsistent numbered list in InDesign CS4? I created a style with numbered list but when I apply it to the second list on another page of my document list numbering continues from last number of previous list (in consecutive order). What's up? I want to get the same effect as in Microsoft Word.

I’ve created numbered list style (body text) that has no number at LEVEL 1 and use that to restart the numbering (see 2 JPG)
Secondly, I’ve also created the Numbered List style as Dominic Hurley advises:

The best way is to not share Apple IDs but also make sure under Settings & Messages on both devices that only one phone number is checked.

(none) style gets applied to numbered list & font size not matching text in my style sheet

Something is wrong with my style sheet, and it only started happening after I created Master Page for the first time. This happens whether or not the new Master Page is applied to a topic: Every time I type any text in a topic, then click the Numbered List icon in the toolbar, the style goes from Normal to (none), and the font changes from my style sheet's Normal 10pt to 8pt, for the number as well as the text.
I don't see how the new Master Page has anything to do with it because it's not applied to this particular topic. I had created a Master Page in RoboHelp HTML and applied my style sheet, then my topics to it. I have a footer in the Master Page and applied 8pt font using inline formatting (not the style sheet).
I created a new project to see what would happen.
When I apply my style sheet, then apply the numbered list to text, the text font is correct (10pt), but the number font is wrong (8pt).
But when I apply the default style sheet to the topic, the number font and text font match.
How can I get the number and text fonts to match in my style sheet?
I found a workaround by applying inline formatting to the next (10pt) after selecting the text and clicking the numbered list icon. Below is the html code. The numbered steps in red are the ones that are not correct (8 pt). The code with the correct formatting (after I applied inline formatting) is in blue.

That was helpful. I'm looking at a topic now, and both the Apply Style list on the Formatting toolbar show (none) when I click a numbered list that I created using the Created a Numbered List or Create a Bulleted List on the toolbar.
This is the html code for the correct font (10pt):

What's strange is, if I create a list and highlight it, then click the Apply Numbered List button in the toolbar, the numbers and text font size changes to 8 point and my Normal font is 10 pt, and both style lists show (none). That's what I wanted to figure out in my original post. I opened up the stylesheet and I don't see where that's applied. In Flare, you can easily see in a table how the styles are formatted, down to each class.

The question that needs to be answered is what is separating the columns? Is it a single tab, one or more tabs, spaces, or what? Or is it the brackets that makes the separation between the three pieces of data?
If it is always a single tab, that makes it really easy. All you have to do is find/replace the brackets with nothing (as Wayne said)
If it might be multiple tabs, you can find/replace tab-tab with a single tab and repeat that a few times until no more double-tabs are found.
If it is one or multiple spaces, that might be difficult. I'll think about this one if this is what you have. I'll ignore this possiblility for now.
If it is the brackets separating the three pieces of data, you would Find/Replace the left bracket with a tab then do the same with the right bracket.

I contacted Verizon (my phone's carrier) and they told me to simultaneously press the on/off button and the menu button. That rebooting fixed the problem, but will I have to do this all the time? Wonderinf if I should take the phone back to the Apple store and get a new one. I've had the phone about two weeks.

Is it possible to create a numbered list with text label?

I'm using Pages 5.0 on Mac OS X Mavericks.
I'm writing a document that consists of tables and figures, which I'd like to number. For both objects I use a numbered list, which I prepend to the caption for easy reference. Ideally I'd like to have two lists (one for each type) with a label which contains both a text and a number, the tabels would look like this:
For tables: "TABLE <number>:"
For figures: "FIGURE <number>:"
While it's not hard to create lists with either a text or a number label, I can't figure out how to combine the two.
So my question: is what I'm trying to do possible and if yes, how do I achieve the desired effect?

What you are asking for has never been a feature in Pages. I don't think that is an added feature in Pages 5.0 either.

The bullet list, numbered list and the normal text is not converting when I am converting from RH 9 to MS Word 2010

Greetings for the day
I am created a new CSS in Robohelp 9. I have also created a new template in Word 2010. The style sets for different information elements like (Heading, bullets, body text, ) are more or less same between the CSS and the new templates. I am also able to map the .css styles to Word template when I am converting from RH to Word as I am getting the necessary option in the drop-down list.
However, when the output is generated, the bullet, the numbered list and the body text is not converting at all. The body text works sometimes. However, the numbered list and bullet list is coming out as images.
If anybody knows the solution, I can share the .css and Word template.

I realize that my wife could make her own iTunes account; however, she's been using mine for about 2 years now and this hasn't been an issue. I guess with the Family Sharing she can have access to all of our music and apps now with her own account.
I'll have to see if unchecking our emails resolves this issue.

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to copy a list from one site to another that has a column that appends changes to existing text.
I recommend to use the custom workflow activity Copy List Item Extended Activityto
copy list items and files cross site.
You can do this with codeless SharePoint Designer workflows as long as you can install the
Codeplex Custom SharePoint Designer Workflow Activities.
These activities are also built-in to SPD2010.
To install the custom activities, please follow the steps as below:
Download the solution file form

Copy the wps file to the Disk C.
Open the SharePoint 2010 Management Shell.
