Share Option in Photos 1.0 Not Working with Outlook

Hello,
I have recently done the OS X update to 10.10.3 (14D136). This brought in Photos Version 1.0 (209.52.0), which appears to have replaced my older iPhotos program apparently. I won't get into my thoughts on the new version, (which is not great) but one thing that is super annoying is that I can no longer send images directly from Photos to Outlook in the share menu.
Yes, I realize I can "Export" to the desktop, and then drag them into Outlook - but why the extra step? Why the downgrade in the upgrade?? If I choose More from the "Share" menu, Outlook is there and checked, but grayed out in the Extensions.
Also, I still show iPhoto listed in my Applications folder, but it wants me to select a Migrate Library to open the program. So, what's the deal? Why do I have now Photos 1.0, but still have iPhotos as well? Which one am I supposed to use and why won't my Outlook work with Photos?
Ugh, this is very Un-Apple-like!

No - iPhotos has not replaced anything - it is new and an addition - iPhoto is still on your system in the applications folder and still works just fine
Outlook is not supported by Photos - not sure if the support must come form Apple or MS as Photos uses a different interface to external packages than iphoto did

Did you try removing the printer from the queue and then reinstalling it?
I attempted to print this morning for the first time after upgrading to Lion and discovered that while everything appeared normal on my Epson printer, it would never print.
I opened System Preference > Print & Scan and deleted the printer.
I then added the printer back and it now working again. Worth a shoot first I should think.
Much easier the a downgrade.

Does anyone know what is going on with icloud email? It is not working this morning with my outlook 2011 this morning...

Yes to the password question. The incoming mail server address has p01 in the front which according the the settings page shouldn't be there. The address is pail in my account details and I can't seem to change it. The address I have for the incoming server is p01-imap.mail.me.com and it is this server which seems to be causing the problem - any ideas how I can change it to delete the p01 bit? Sorry - this is a bit beyond my knowledge!

Help with new upgrade 8.1 icould not working with outlook on my pc

upgraded this morning to Windows 8.1. on my pc
I am using Microsoft Office 2010; my contacts, tasks and calendars are in iCloud.
Now when I am in Outlook, it will not open contacts, calendar or tasks .. It tells me: The set of folders cannot be opened. The information store could not be opened.

I am not bothering with windows 10 my friend, it is too much of an newbe baby at the moment and there are just too many bug fixes need doing in my opinion. I did manage to get my dolby home theatre to work again in windows 10, but it was an awful dulled down version with only half the features of the original that came with the version that was on my pc. My plan is to stick to windows 8.1 until it's death. When they withdrawl all the security patches for windows 8.1 and it becomes obsolete, then I will be forced to trash my pc again and go to windows 10, was not much fun mind spending 3.5 days putting everything back to its former state. Hope they do make windows 10 more stable and fix a lot of the bugs. I tried opening videos and pictures in windows 10.... result = missing element errors.... and error, error, error,,, So I think I will wait until 28 July 16 to when the last day of my free upgrade and reservation to windows 10 becomes mandatory. Hotmail not working with outlook express..

Just obtained a nice, mint like Pismo with the G4 550 upgrade.. It also has the original 802.11b airport card, not so slow as many say it is.. My question pertains to outlook express and hotmail...
How do I set up my pop3 account for hotmail under OS 9.2.2's outlook express?? I keep getting errors such as server not reached or something... I have tried other email clients, to no avail.
Also, I have a problem with Sherlock 2 not working... here is the message for this problem:

Also, what are your feelings about upgrades for this?? What would be the most economic devices I can upgrade herE? I was thinking about getting a USB 2.0 card.. possibly some more batteries(pram and battery are dead, so running pismo from ac adapter)..
The wireless 802.11B isn't so slow as many say it is.. its pretty quick and it doesn't feel any different than with my 802.11g on my mac pro.. I don't have an N router though.
If someone can help me out I'd be grateful.. I have been away from OS 9 for a long time.. I know more about OS X than OS 9.

Not sure about a fix, but look at these suggestions. OE is basically obsolete & doesn't meet the security requirements & set up of many ISPs.
Go to your Outlook Express folder Inside the OE folder, look for a folder named Microsoft Internet Self-Repair - inside you'll find a program named Microsoft Internet First Run. Double-click it to run it - doing so should replace any missing files needed by Outlook Express.

Iphone 5 and calender not working with Outlook Exchange, "Marriott"

I have a new iPhone 5. I have Outlook Exchange 2010 with Office 7. When I book airlines or car rentals both calenders sync the correct dates. When I book Marriott, I can make 4 differnet reservations and Outlook calender accpets the correct dates with my 4 resevations. The iPhone will only accpet one reservation in calender. Sometimes the date will be off by one day. I can paste the details in the calender and they appear ok but if US AIr works and Hetrz works why does Marriott not work?

Actually, as an update, mine is now working (the BlueTooth Audio part, Siri still cannot place calls).
I have done this on my first (now smashed) iPhone 5 and my new iPhone 5. It takes a lot of trial and error, but you can get it to work.
First thing is with the iPhone 4, all I had to do was connect the phone in the phone connect screen and it just worked for both. Not so with the 5. With the 5, I have to register it both in the Audo Settings> Bluetooth Audio Settings menus as well as the phone settings on the radio. I didnt know there were two different connections with two different pins. (0000 and 1212). I forget which one you have to connect first, but again, I tried it so many times both installs and it eventually worked. It may be easier to change the name of either the Phone or Bluetooh Audio name from Car Multimedia, so the iPhone can easily connect to one or the other, but I left them both with the same name. I can now play music, and when the phone rings, automatically swaps over to that one.
Play with it and you will get it to work. If I have time, i will remove it and do it again and write down the steps.

Attach to email not working with Outlook 2011

I've created a pdf document for users to fill out and then click a SUBMIT button which attaches the document to an email and sends it back to me. It works great with Windows users, however, it fails to create an email for Mac users with Outlook 2011. It opens the program but doesn't create an email. I'm using Acrobat Pro 9.5
Can someone please help in fixing this matter as there are people that use Macs.

Yes the Acrobat PDFviewer Plug does nt work with anything but Safari on a Mac. In OS9 days it would work with any web Browser.
But Adobe has decided That they will only support Webkit Browsers and refuses to support despite pleading with Adobe by people using Ecko based browsers. This leave more people unable to use the adobe PDFviewer plugin, than can. A fellow from Germany called Schubert has come up with a PDF Browser Plugin that can use any Browser Webkit or Gecko except Internet Explorer. The one caveat is that you can't fill out forms. And he is banned from putting that feature in, by Adobe.

ICloud Email not working with Outlook 2013

But it keeps asking me for smtp password, even though the password is right.

Viewmail 8.6.5 not working with outlook 2010

Hello,
I try to configure viewmail 8.6.5 with outlook 2010 on a windows 7 computer. We have unity 7 and exchange 2007. I enter all the information in the viewmail setup but when I click test settings it says unable to find the voice mail server. The unity server name I entered is correct I can also ping it from my computer. Any suggestions.

At this point we are missing what outlook version you have and what exact version of Unity or UConnection.
1-Check Compatibility Matrix: Cisco Unity and the Software on Subscriber Workstations

and see if everything matches accordingly to the supported versions, this is a well known issue. If everything does continue with option below.
2-Beside the server name try with the IP instead.
3-Check if you have turned on the SSl, if you do turn it off and try again

Option Key for Boot Camp not working with New iMac Keyboard

Hi, I own a early 2006 Intel iMac. Recently, my wife complained that the keyboard was getting dirty. Basically I think she liked the new keyboard on the new Aluminum iMac better. We purchased it back in August and everything worked great. Oh I also had the beta version of Boot Camp installed. Everything worked great, hold Option down on boot and could choose which OS to go into.
Fast forward to now, purchased Leopard and love it! Decided to wipe the system and do a fresh install. Everything is installed (Leopard, Boot Camp, Windows XP) and working great, that is except when I press and hold the Option key at start up. If I have the new keyboard installed, the Option key does not bring up the boot manager. However if I plug the original keyboard in and hold Option, it works!!!
Ok I could see a problem if the new keyboard was NOT an Apple product. But it is and frustraiting as I can use the control panel to choose. This is a long round about method and does not make a happy wife with me. HELP!

Thanks for the info! I was about to call myself and I may still do so. I am hoping if Apple gets enough of these calls then maybe it will spur them on to get it done sooner. (Apple are you listening) I will do the same with the KB swapping, she will be happy at least she can still use the new keyboard. She types a lot and has be really happy with the new keyboard and its response.

ITunes photo synchronization does not work with iPad

Hello,
I have an iPad and wanted to synchronize pictures on it. When I enable synchronization of pictures in iTunes and choose a folder and synchronize afterwards the synch finishes after 3 secounds and nothing happens.
I have an iPhone 3GS as well and there it works properly.
I tryed it with FW 3.2.2 on iTunes 9.2 and now I updated all to FW 4.2.1 and iTunes 10.1.1.4 but the problem still exists.
I deleted the picture cache from the folder (solution from another forum - same problem on a mac) but it doesnt change anything.
I know how to use the synchronization from my iPhone. I hope someone knows the problem and have a solution for it?

I installed a new bigger hard drive and now spotlight does not work with outlook to search for emails

My old hard drive was full so I went to an apple authorized provider to install a new bigger hard drive. They also moved the data and applications from my old drive to the new one. They did not use time capsule because their way was faster. After the installation I did have to reenter the product code key for Office 2011 for the Mac. However, now I find that I cannot do email spotlight searches in Outlook. When I put in the search - it comes up with no results. This is true no matter what the search. Any ideas of how to point spotlight to look in the email folders so I can do searches again. This is a feature I use daily - so I am concerned that I have lost this feature. Also, I am noticing that alot of the settings did not carry over to the new hard drive. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I would recommend starting over and migrate using your Time Capsule backup however DO NOT do it wirelessly, connect using an Ethernet Connection. If you upgraded to Lion from Snow Leopard then follow the instructions in this video, the kid is annoying but he knows what he's doing. Clean Install Of Snow Leopard video. Once you have installed and updated Snow Leopard then update using the 10.6.8 Update Combo, then log into the Mac App Store and re-install Lion and all it's updates. My guess this is an afternoons work.

You say it worked prior to the upgrade - have you tried removing the account and re-adding it, ensuring that all ActiveSync features are enabled and that all information is entered properly?

Crystal 2008 not working with outlook 2010 mapi when exporting

I recently had service pack 3 and fix pack 3.3 updated to my system ( crystal 2008) to help correct a issue with mapi not populating addresses from outlook when trying to export a report. I have a new issue. - sort of???
Now when I try to export multiple reports in a row I still have the same issue. I can send 1 report out. But if i try to send another report out i have the same issue that I had with mapi not populating the addresses field from outlook.
To get past this I shut down crystal and then bring it back up and I can send (ONE) report again before the same thing happens. Does anyone know if there is fix for this issue?
Fyi - this has nothing to do with the design of my report. The problem lies with how Crystal is communicating with mapi when trying to allowi a 2nd report to be exported. I am not using any outside programs, only crystal 2008 version and trying to export my report through mapi (outlook 2010 (in PDF format). As stated above with the above fixpack - I was able to restore exporting but now I can only export 1 report at a time.
When I select a 2nd report to export (after just sending out my 1st) the mapi function will not allow me to select addresses. So while the fix pack (from the website) restored some functionality it only allows 1 report at a time.

It works for me. I get the Allow for 1 minute box and then I export again and same thing.... works...
I'm using Windows 7 64 bit at home. It just installed SP 1 so that may be the difference also but I don't recall this being a problem before.
I also don't see this being a CR problem, if it works once then something else is blocking the MAPI permission box. Check your anti-virus logs, could be it things a trojan is taking over your address book and blocking the second attempt. The AV logs should show you if something was blocked. Or disconnect from your network/disable network cards and disable your AV and test again.
Do you have any other tool that allows you to export? If you install Winzip or WinRAR it adds a feature that allows you to right click on any file, save the PDF to disk and then test using the zip tool to see if that works for you. If not it's definitely your AV or possibly Firewall software blocking the pop up.
