I created one list library in SharePoint 2013
Customized with info path forms 2013 …
External data connection with SQL servicer table
SQL table fields are associated with List fields…
I converted data connection in to UDC file and uploaded in the Data connection Library in SharePoint 2013
I published the list… when I new document I am getting an error …

Also I would suggest you to create a simple web service to get and update the data to database . And use that Web service to your DB operations .

They are very, very different beasts.
Firstly FAST Search for SharePoint is the old name for the product and is only relevant for SharePoint 2010 not 2013. It got merged into the standard SharePoint search for the 2013 release.
SharePoint search is aimed at providing a Bing or Google like experience for your intranet content, as well as providing some nifty features that are purely SharePoint releated along the way. That means it can crawl SharePoint content, file shares,
outlook mailboxes, internal and external websites and probably fifty other different things if you really tried. Whilst i'm not an expert on SQL full text search I believe it's intended to provide a search feature for content held within SQL databases
and tables.
Can you run SharePoint purely for Search? Yes, definitely.

Diff bet invoice date and Invoices list date

Good Morning to all.
1) what is the difference between invoice date and invoicing list dates, please telltheir signigficance and why they needed in customer master billing tab.
2)what is the use of the field Payment guar proced field.what actully is its purpose.
3)Subsequent invoice processing:- It indicates if the invoices for manual
post processing should be printed out.If the business wants to post invoices manually(not
by system automatically) that invoice can be printed out.
In the above sentence what does manual posting means and what is automatic posting means?

These fields will be used to assign the calendars that determines the schedule of billing dates and invoice list for the customer.
Invoice dates (calendar identification)
Identifies the calendar that determines the schedule of billing dates for the customer.
Use
If, for example, a customer wants to consolidate the invoices you send out, you can predefine the billing schedule in a calendar in the system. During billing, the system automatically proposes the appropriate billing date from the calendar.
Procedure
The system proposes the billing schedule from the customer master record of the payer. You can change the value manually in the sales document.
Invoice list Dates (calendar identification)
Identifies the customer's factory calendar that is used during the processing of invoice lists.
Use
An invoice list is a list of invoices (single or collective) that you create for the customer either periodically or on predefined dates. The periods and dates are defined in the customer's factory calendar. Typically, the recipient of an invoice list takes on the responsibility for collecting payments from numerous individual customers and receives a factoring or del credere discount for the service.
Procedure
If you want to create invoice lists for the customer, you must enter an identifier for a predefined factory calendar.
Requirements
You must first define a factory calendar for the customer either in Customizing for Sales or as part of the master data for Sales (Menu path: Logistics -> Sales & distribution -> Master data -> Others -> Billing schedules).

SharePoint 2010 and SQL DateTime data filtering

I have a SharePoint site that is using an external content type and external list to pull information from a view in SQL. One column of the contains Date/Time information. All of the information shows up fine in the SharePoint list, but as soon as I try
to filter the Date/Time column for a specific Date range, nothing appears on the list or the list is unchanged. I have used the built in [Today] parameter in a filter such as "[Today]-30" (no quotes, and no spaces in the formula) which has worked
for this filtering on other lists in SharePoint, but I always get the full list returned instead of a subset. Any help would be greaty appreciated.

According to your description, the filter formula“[Today-30]” doesn’t work in the external list.
I reproduce your issue in my environment. If I fill a certain date value like ‘7/1/2013’ or ‘[Today]’ , it works properly. But when I fill the formula like ‘[Today]-30’,
it fails to filter.

Netbeans 5.5 + VWP and Object List Data Provider

Hi there.
I'm trying to build an Object List Data Provider as in fieldguide_08_dataProviders.
I'm using Netbeans 5.5 + VWP
When I try to "Configure the Table" on page 360, there are some difference.
When I select Object List Data Provider and drop it on the Table component opens an unexpected choose for the target, then I choose tableRowgroup1.
The JSP souce don't change and is still

When I select objectListDataProvider1 the drop down opposite property list doesn't work. The button opens a selection window with no items.

Is there a way to selectively put on and off your data-connection(3G)?

Hi there!
I'm currently working on an app that uses GPS to track a person's location, this location is than in turn send to an online database.
Obviously sending that location to the database requires an internet connection, I could use WIFI for that which is no issue but what if there's no WIFI available, if that's the case I want to use the phone's 3G data connection.
Since I only need that connection for a short period(just to send the location to the database) I think it's rather dumb to put it on when opening the app and keeping it on as long as the app is running.-->It would quickly drain the available data memory.
So my question is, is there a way to put the 3G connection ON and OFF in code? So the app would have the rights to do that.
To clarify: Suppose whenever I track a person's location(every 5 minutes for example --> that's sufficient for my app even though it doesn't seem so useful) I want to put on the 3G connection to send the location to the database.
The following 5 minutes however I've no need of that internet connection since no communication with the Database is required so I would want to put the 3G connection off then.
-->Is this possible?

There is no way to turn on and off the phones 3g connection via code.

Thank you. Yes that resolves the conflict but leaves some missing references like the "Composition"
reference above. I was able to get past that by adding System.ComponentModel.Composition. This is after installing the VS 2013 update 4 build.
Now I get the following. I'm concerned that I'm taking references from both Lightswitch and Silverlight
sdk's just to get it to build. These references are required because of the auto generated code. I must have something quirked. Anyway what about System.Data.Common.DbConnection? How can I get it without
referencing System.Data?

Help! I'm confused..........Powershell and Sql, retrieving data from SQL DB

First I love the Scripting Guys! Now on to my confusion for the day.
I have a lovely powershell module that performs all the necessary tasks of my group for terminating an employee. I only need one small piece to make it complete.
Running with PowerShell v4
I need to take my $variable, loop through it and query an SQL db to see if any of the people on the list have cell phones. My confusion lies in actually getting the data from the SQLdb.
I have been searching examples for days and am still lost as to how to construct this. Most examples use the Invoke-sqlcmd but that requires a piece that everyone who will be using this module may not have or have access to, so I want to avoid it.
So I have this:

WCF-SQL notification and SQL Change Data Tracking - incompatible?

Hi,
I have a DB with Change Data Tracking enabled on a particular table. Each time an Update/Insert is made on this table, I'm able to check what need to be synchronised with other systems by using the CHANGETABLE function of SQL Server.
And I want to use it with a Receive location WCF-SQL with inboundOperationType=Notification. So each time a modification is made on the table, I have a notification and I'm able to retrieve the updated/inserted records.
Unfortunately, it seems that using the CHANGETABLE is not supported in the NotificationStatement, I got the following error: "The notification callback returned an error. Info=Invalid. Source=Statement. Type=Subscribe.".
Any ideas to workaround?

I'm not totally agreed with you about the notification because it depends on the situation.
In my case, I have a table in a remote SQL database where data are not changing often. But I want to retrieve the changes as fast as I can because it needs to be synchronised with a MDM.
The notification is great for me because I get a notification message just after a change and I can synchronise it. Of course, if my receive location is down I can't receive the notification but with the mechanism described in the MSDN article you pointed,
I can get the changes I missed during the outage.
And now I have a solution to use the notification and the Data Change tracking: I use a regular SELECT statement in the notification statement (SELECT <columns> FROM MYTABLE). If something changes in the table, I got a notification and then I send
a SELECT FROM CHANGETABLE(MYTABLE, ...) and I store the number of the last modification I got. So I can retrieve only the changes that occurs since my previous call.

on my computor, there is a oracle client for oracle 10g. now there is new oracle 11g installed , I want to create a ODBC connection to this new database. but when I create ODBC , I can't find server type for oracle 11g , there only has driver for oracle 10g. will you please tell me how to create ODBC for this new DB? will you please tell me where is the configuration file for data source on my computor?

- Oracle 10g client (only), and in a seperate ORACLE_HOME
- Oracle 11g rdbms
First, the 10g client will connect quite well to the 11g database
Second, the 11g database includes the basic client admin software, but the odbc drivers are not installed by default. You have to run OUI and choose 'custom' installation, then select 'windows components' from the list of available components.
I've never wanted to install the odbc driver as part of the database installation. Only on remote client installations.
What are you really trying to achieve?

XCelsius and Crystal Report data connectivity

I have an Excelsius SWF-file and a Crystal Report in which I want to show the SWF. The data of the SWF should depend on a cross table in Crystal Report (event type/month. I tried but have several difficulties:
1. there are different counts of event types in the different customer databases so I can not assign a fix data area in XCelsius
2. I have sorted the columns in the cross table in CR according to the number of the month, but the name of the month is showing. When I choose the option "use an existing cross table" the SWF in the design form only shows the numbers and not the names like in the cross table of CR
3. in the preview no SWF is shown
4. how to bind cross table(s) AND single values to CR
Can anybody help or can suggest an exact documentation of the connection of the both programms with an example?

What I dont understand is WHY we need to have BusinessObject Enterprise to distribute the crystal report so that my user can access the crystal report?
The reason why I am confused because earlier on, you mentioned we (BW users) can call the URL and access crystal report is saved in the BW Role.
Since my BW users can access crystal report directly from BW, WHY do we still need BusinessObject Enterprise?

According to the picture, it seems that we can use SSIS 2012 support is not included in SSDT-BI for VS 2013. And based on the previous versions, SSIS always different from SSRS, SSAS.
SSDT-BI for Visual Studio 2012 supports versions of SQL Server as follows:
SSAS project can target SQL 2012 or lower
SSRS project can target SQL 2012 or lower
SSIS project can target only SQL 2012
