Shipment Tracking

Has an add on been developed or is there another solution for the tracking to shipments for overseas purchase orders?
There are aboue 15 fields which would need to be completed and tracked per shipment.
One shipment may have several purchase orders linked.

I do not believe there is any AddOn specifically for this. If it does not involve any complex logic or calculation and if it is simply for reference information I would suggest you could create User Tables and User fields within them and input this information

IProcurement Shipment Tracking

Hi,
We are trying to setup Shipment Tracking ability in iProcurement (Lifecycle Tracking). We have followed all required steps from the implementation manual -
1. Setup a carrier using Procure-to-pay administrator responsibility
2. Create an approved requisition and autocreate PO.
2. Inserted ASN data into the ROI tables and run the Receiving Transaction Processor concurrent request.
3. After it completes successfully, check the details page of the requisition from iProcurement.
All the details like freight carrier, waybill number, expected shipment date, etc are populated in the Shipment section. But the Shipment Tracking icon does not appear.
Is there some step we are missing here? Any help is appreciated.

Do you use Transportation module (LES)? Have you tried VT01N and VL31N?

ISA Shipment Tracking Link

Hi,
I'm working on the enhancements on the CRM ISA B2B/B2C application (CRM 4.0 ISA Sp09). Client Requirement is to have the Shipment Tracking Link (UPS) in the application once the shipment is dispatched from R/3. Could someone tell me the steps invloved to achieve this?

Hi follow the standard SAP documentation.You will find it easy in implementing the Shipment tracking.

I have configured according to this.I am getting it fine for FEDEX.The only problem I am facing is the URL mentioned in the table TCAURL for UPS and DHL.
As per the above document the Tracking number is getting attached to the URL where as in actual DHL and UPS case they have secured order tracking.
If you get some solution for UPS regarding this please let me know.
But follow the steps as mentioned above.The shipment tracking will be set up automatically without much effort.

ISA 5.0 with Delivery/Shipment tracking

I have a fully-functional E-Commerce 5.0 application connected to an ERP backend (not CRM) and I'd like to implement the Delivery Tracking Status functionality.
Has anyone done this or has plans to do this? I'm looking for any feedback, good or bad, any links to documentation, or any step-by-step walkthroughs...

Hi Bryan,
Shipment tracking is a standard out of box functionality for ECO. You need to maintain the necessary shippers data in the tables TCAURL and TCAVAR,
The best practice document C20 section 3.8 has the complete instructions on setting up this scenario. If you do not have the document, then let me know. I will send it to you.

Shipment tracking without MRP relevance

I have a Shipment with associated Deliveries. The deliveries are based on Schedulung Agreements, which have Confirmation Control keys assigned.
I have to mark the confirmation control key as being relevant for Tracking to get the tracking available on the Shipment. The problem is that I also have to mark the confirmation control key as MRP relevant, which means that everytime I update the tracking of the shipment, MRP and the demand gets affected.
What I want to do is track the shipment as an internal information only, using the standard functions and not have MRP affected.
When I try to set it an error is displayed that does not let me save.
As far as I can find there is nothing in the SAP Help, nothing on the notes and nothing here in the SDN.
Can you please assist me in setting this or finding a easy standard solution.

Would you know if/which user-exit or any other functionality can be called during MRP runs to manipulate the data at delivery schedules?
I was trying eg. 'EXIT_SAPMM06E_013' or 'EXIT_SAPMM61X_001' but without success.

Vendor Shipment Tracking and GR

Hello Sir,
we have orders procured directly from a vendor through a solicitation process. An approved order placed within the system triggers a purchase requisition. This purchase requisition is placed in a solicitation, and a purchase order is sent to the winning vendors. The vendors are responsible for shipping the commodities directly to the customer's designated location. The vendor retains title of the commodity until it reaches the customer's warehouse. The order is tracked from order entry to final delivery.
Basically my question is
1) I need to track the shipment when it goes from vendor he sends an meesage regarding ship date and time and when the customer receives he sends an Message where can i save this message so that whenever somebody sees the order he can see where is it.
2) What should be the ideal goods receipt process as our terms with the vendors are as soon as he sends us an messsage that goods are shipped we need to settle the invoice

Iphone 6 Plus shipment tracking

Ok my order for the iPhone 6 Plus (Gray 128GB) on Apple Online Store (Australia) has finally shipped today (7th October). They gave me a tracking number on the Order Status page, and clicking on the Tracking Shipment link (http://www.tnt.com/webtracker/tracking.do?respLang=EN&respCountry=AU&searchType= CON&cons=160260408&navigation=1) showed the package has been delivered, in CROATIA!. What is going on here? I'm in Melbourne Australia

TNT shipment tracking woes - familiar?

Ordered my MacBook online on 28th May (Sunday), and was given a delivery date of 7th June. I can track the shipment fine through TNT. Only problem is, it's the 6th of June and the status hasn't changed since June 1st. It's still in China:

Two phonecalls to TNT yielded the same answer: the last place it was scanned was the depot in China and it's still on schedule for delivery on the 7th, so it should be fine. Now I'm no expert on the logistics of international shipping, but it strikes me as highly unlikely that TNT will be able to get my MacBook from China to Scotland inside a day and a half when it normally seems to take them a week and a half.
Has anyone else had (or is having) a similar experience?

Well,
first shipping: Ordered May 23rd, shipped May 26th, Receiced May 30th. Tracking was wonderful.
second shipping (a replacement unit): Ordered May 31st, Shipped June 3rd, tracking is: hold back due to technical problems since June 4th.
TNT says it is not in China anymore, but can't tell me when it will be deliverd.
They say it is scheduled for the 9th (but no guarantee).
Apple's web site says meanwhile: June 10th (a Saturday, not sure
if TNT will deliver Apple packages on a saturday). Moreover, by telephone Apple allows delivery till june 13th (tuesday).
So, it is not only TNT which is annoying, it is Apple,too -
when it comes to delivery status information. It seems to
me that my replacement unit will take longer than my original purchase

U know what guys yesterday I had to call fedex and give them all the info about the shipment. They are not allowed to give me the tracking number but they told me the package arrives today .... but since I am gonna be at school I guess they will leave a dor tag. So I'll have to go to fedex after 5pm to pick it up

"Track Shipment" is iOS4 does not work for Canada Post tracking numbers

Not 100% sure this is the best forum to post this but couldn't find an iOS specific forum.
When an email arrives with a shipment tracking number embedded in it, iOS4 is smart enough to recognize it and turn it into a link. You click the link, select "Track Shipment" and in theory you get sent off to the appropriate shipment tracking website.
Problem is that this does not work for Canada Post tracking numbers, I get sent to the USPS tracking site instead of the Canada Post one. I assume that the number format is similar but there must be a way to distinguish between CPC tracking numbers and USPS tracking numbers (by range ?).

This has since become working in 4.0 and higher.
I noticed I now get a notes folder for each of my email accounts (ie. in my case; MobileMe gets one, Gmail gets another, and Virgin Media a yet another). And all three since accordingly correctly between Notes mailbox on iPhone 4 and it's counterpart Notes mailbox in the mac mail app under Reminders section.
Additionally, just like other main mailboxes (inbox, drafts, sent, trash, junk), they also have a "unified" box at the top in both mac and iphone, in order to view notes in all email accounts at the same time.
Hooray Apple, shame it took so long, but at least it's here now

Does iOS have the ability to automatically show me shipping and tracking info or flight status based on information in my email?

I am considering switching from an android to an iPhone and one of the features I use heavily on my android is my google now cards. It automatically reminds me to check in for flights and gives me flight status information based on flight information in my email. It then shows me a card for the weather where I am and where I'm going. I also use it for shipment tracking; if i have an email that has a shipping confirmation number, I have a google card that automatically shows me the tacking number and tracking status. I was wondering if Apple had something similar and if it was through Siri or something else? I have an iPad and I haven't seen features like these on it. Everything I've read about Siri so far is that the information given is based on you prompting with a question as opposed to proactively giving me information I need, which is more how I use my android today. If the answer is to us the google now app for iOS, does will it interface with my email and calendar to make relevant cards seamlessly on the iPhone like it currently does on my android phone? Delivery Tracking #

hi all,
Can its possible we can synchronize the shipment tracking # from the Delivery Doc in SBO? my tracking numbers are in a UDF on the Delivery. shell its possible the same Tracking# will availble on shipment i.d in Ecommerce.

Hi Philip,
The synch should be setting the tracking number from the delivery document.
It will only use the UDF on the line item if nothing has been set on the delivery doc.

Tracking Note 4

Got my Tracking number this morning at 8am for my Note 4 but checking the number FedEx still shows nothing. Should I still be able to track even tho its 2 day ground I would think after 12 hours something should be showing up.
