Should I buy the iphone 4s or Buy the iphone 5 they have the same features basically the iphone 4s just cost less
They will have the same features once the iphone 5 comes out they will both have ios 6 , passbook, panerama mode, ect. The iphone 4s just cost less. im not worried so much about the screen size i just want to know some opinions. And what color is good for a guy to get?

The 5 has a faster processor, more RAM, and a larger screen. The biggest difference is LTE.
Buy whatever fits your budget and needs.
Personally I just got a 32GB 4S on closeout from AT&T for $199... to me it was worth saving $100 over a similar iPhone 5.
Color is your choice, again my personal opinion is white electronics are hideous. Many will disagree with me on that, but I cannot help that they have bad tastes.

My sons iPhone 5 was stolen out of his blazer pocket while in a games lesson, this was last period and on return to get changed find that someone from his class had stolen his phone from his zipped pocket. Straight away I went onto the find my iPhone on my phone and it has been showing offline since the phone was stolen. The phone had a password set on it and I have notified the police, school and also our carrier. All you may infer is the device hasn't been turned on where it can connect to Wi-Fi.
The phone may be jailbroken if there is no lock passcode to prevent access. However, the phone can be completely erased and restored as new. In this case you will have no ability to locate it or prevent it from being jailbroken.

First make sue you are installing the 64 bit version of iTunes.
Second make sure it is iTunes 10.7 or later.
I would download a fresh copy of the 64 bit version of iTunes 11. After installation reboot your computer.
Before connecting your phone reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem. -
I can't find my notes in my iCloud account. I checked my iPhone 4, and it says that they are still being saved to the iCloud. Where did they go?
I'm not familiar with the PC end of things, but in a recent post I read about someone using notes.exe to access notes (I'm assuming they knew what they were talking about) - would your installation of icloud app(s) include a notes program? At least do this, log into icloud.com with a computer browser and look in mail. There should be a notes "folder" listed along with the others you may have defined. Are you notes there? If not, that's the problem. Be sure notes is turned on in Settings>icloud on your device. if they are there, then it looks like the PC end is the problem - but I can't provide help concerning that.

I have accepted iCal invitations with repeating events and they have since been deleted from the iCal on my Mac but won't delete from my iPhone. Help
I experienced this issue as well.
Background:
I had opened an ICS attachment for a repeating event on my iPhone, which added the item to my phone's calendar. I did not have the option to delete the calendar entry from my phone, and the item did not appear on the calendar on my Mac. My phone is currently running iOS 7 (but the problem began quite awhile ago; I don't recall which version of iOS was installed when it started).
Solution (summary):
Create a new calendar, move the items that you wish to delete to the new calendar, then delete the new calendar
Solution (detailed steps):
Create a new calendar
On your phone, open the calendar app
Tap the "Calendars" option at the bottom of the screen
Tap the "Edit" button in the top left corner
Scroll to the bottom of the list and tap the "Add Calendar..." option
Give your new calendar a good name, such as "Delete me"
Tap "Done" in the top right corner to save the new calendar
Tap "Done" in the top left corner to finish editing the list of calendars
Tap "Done" to exit the list of calendars
Assign all calendar entries that you wish to delete to the calendar you created in step 1
Tap a calendar entry that you wish to delete
Tap the "Edit" button in the top right corner
Scroll down until you see the Calendar field (on an iPhone or iPod it's usually just below the bottom of the screen), then tap the Calendar field to bring up the list of available calendars
Tap the name of the calendar that you created in step 1 (e.g. "Delete me"); the screen should return to the main calendar entry page
Tap "Done" in the top right corner of the screen. You may need to then tap the "< Day" button on the top left of the screen to return to the main calendar view
Repeat the instructions in step 2 for each of the calendar entries that you wish to delete

If you're sure that the only items on this calendar are items that you wish to delete, tap the "Delete Calendar" button
Tap "Done" in the top right corner to exit the Edit Calendars screen
Tap "Done" to exit the list of calendars. You should now be back at the main view of the calendars app
Rejoice, your pesky repeating calendar events have been deleted
At this point all of the items that you assigned to the deleted calendar should be gone
Repeat the steps above for any entries that you missed

Yesterday I used my iphone in the rain. I think some water must have got inside. Now the phone seems to be working OK but is not backlit so is incredibly hard to read. Is there anything I can do to reset or have I ruined the phone?
What you should have done is immediately turn the phone off, then put it in a ziploc bag of dried rice after you wiped all visible moisture off the phone. Leave it in the ziploc bag for 3 ~ 4 days, then turn it on & hope things work OK. It may be too late to try the dry rice trick now, but you can give it a shot if you like.
Apple does have an out of warranty replacement program, cost in the US is $199 for the 4S & $149 for other models. -
I can play the music on my itunes under my purchased section but when I go to my phone when I have it connected the a lot of the songs won't play on my song or from the itunes under my phone. They have a little icon to the left of them that looks like a repeat icon. It won't let me delete them from there nor play them. When on my phone only it won't play them it just brings up the clip art but will not play. Please can anyone help me.

I have imported contacts from Outlook to Mail and they have synced via iCloud to my iPhone 3GS. I can't get my iPhone to make a call using these contacts (it tries but then says call ended) but if I dial the number of any of the contacts on the keypad, the call DOES work! You can sync as many iphones/ipods/ipads as you like to one computer/library.
Open itunes, connect iphone, select what you want, sync

Photostream when enabled will only add photos from the camera roll that were taken post photostream activation. (Photostream does not currently share video)
Photostream only syncs photos over Wi-Fi, make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi to begin with.
Photostream only syncs when the camera app is closed, ensure it is closed.

Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream. -
Can you use the same charging cable for both an iPhone and an IPad or are they different? When I use the charging cable for my iPhone on my Ipad, it doesn't charge.

i have a Iphone 4s and a ipad mini. the ipad mini recently got water damage, tried the rice trick...nothing. I have apple care plus on my iPhone, does that work on my ipad too? if so that would be great bc defintally can't afford a new one ,lol

First, what kind of liquid was it, and was it fully submersed? For how long? Do you see water droplets or moisture behind the screen? How long did you leave it in rice for? Etc. More data please.
And the short answer is no, apple care does not extend from your iPhone to your iPad mini. Both items require separate Apple Care plans to be covered. Furthermore, I don't think water damage is covered under Apple Care. Only manufacturing defects.
If you bought it on a Credit Card, you may be lucky enough to call them and ask them if they have a replacement program as a benefit for being a card holder. I believe AMEX has one on their Platinum cards, and worse case scenario, you can always try to file a claim with your home insurance or renters insurance (check your policy). Just beware, if you go the Insurance route in filing a claim, you might have your premium go up in the next cycle.
