Show preset in main window or make navigator bigger?

I am trying out presets. I like how I can scroll over a preset and it shows it in the little navigator window. Is there anyway to make that tiny window bigger or to have the preset change in the main window without having to click on it?

Alright, then this should be my last question....
If I click on one preset and then click on second one, are they stacked? Or does it undo the first one and then do the 2nd one?
i.e Click 1 and 2 preset look the same as just clickiing on the 2nd preset?

I am trying to display acquired images in the main window of my Single Document MFC application as opposed to individual display windows. I use imgPlot to achieve this. The problem seems to be the HWND that I pass to the call. I am not sure of the proper place or technique to capture this handle.

Have you tried looking in the IMAQ Function Reference Help? You can locate this document by navigating to Start >> Programs >> National Instruments >> Vision >> Documentation >> NI-IMAQ Function Reference. This help file contains descriptive information for each parameter of the function.
I would also suggest taking a look at the IMAQ examples that shipped with NI-IMAQ. You can find the C examples in the following directory:
C:\Program Files\National Instruments\NI-IMAQ\Sample\MSVC
I would suggest starting with the HL Snap example. That is a very simple example that snaps a single image and displays it.
Take a look at that documentation and at those examples and let me know if you have any additional questions.

Pop up window goes to the back of the main window in Swings on Solaris 10

I am using a Swing Application using Java 1.6 on Solaris 10 machine.
Whenever I click on the button which pops up another window, it always goes to the back of the main window.
Then I ll ve to minimize the main window to make the pop-up window get the focus.
I am using Exceed to open up Swing application.
But when the same application is run on Windows XP machine, the problem does not come up.
i.e. Pop-up window always get the focus and is visible above the main window.
Please help to figure out whether this is an issue with Solaris 10 machines or with java 1.6.

Increase main window size in the second page

When you have two or more pages in a smartform it is necessary that each page should have it's main window. But one important thing is that all the main windows of all the pages should be of same width and height. You cannot have different measures for each of the main window. If you do so you will end up in run time error.
In second page, add window and make it as main window. Make sure that width and height is same as main window of first page. Next add another window and make it as secondary window. Later add any components like templates, texts etc to this secondary window. Otherwise they will not be shown up during print or print preview.

Itunes search pop-up not selectable by mouse. (clicking selects objects in main window).

When making a search, the window pop-up can not be selected by the mouse. It stays there, but any click results in selecting the main window (for example the normal song list). Even when just highlighting the mouse over the pop-up you can see the active window for the mouse is the main window because the icons that appear when hovering a song show for the main window only.
Any ideas how to fix it?
Specs:
Windows 7 Ult.
Itunes 11.0.5.5 (the latest).

No luck. Even with newer updates, the issue still persist. Also, I have found about 4-5 other threads with the same issue that have popped up and not one has an answer.

LR 5: Photo edits not showing in main window of Develop module

I just now installed LR5, converting my LR3 catalog to LR5 catalog. Everything seemed to go fine. I picked one photo and converted to the 2012 process. The new sliders appeared.
The problem: Any changes I make are seen only in the Navigator window, not the main window. I figured there had to be a simple fix, but I've scoured the web and can find no one having similar problems. Any ideas?

Ok, I feel a wee bit sheepish. I closed LR and reopened. No more problem. I converted another photo and could see the edits in the main window--without restarting LR.

From what I can see, unless you're doing things with old versions of Xcode on a Mac (in which case, the solution seems to be to upgrade to the latest version), this seems to e an iTunes issue.
Accepting that it works fine with another iPad, I suggest trying the following:
1. Restart the non-working iPad
2. If that doesn't work, reinstall iTunes. If you're on a Windows PC, I suggest using Control Panel to uninstall all the Apple apps, restarting the PC, and doing a fresh install. If you're using a Mac, a repair permissions might help too.
iTunes 10.3 is now available, and that may make a difference.

PreSet preveiw "Flip" with Main Window

Ok, yes I have a 21" monitor ... but I have bad eyes lol. (need to go 30")
So, there are times when mouseing thru a list of PreSets and looking at the small PreVeiw window, I would like to "Flip" the PreVeiw with the Main Window.
* That way when I mouse over the list of Presets I can view it on the Larger Window and have the Original (Current) Veiw in the Smaller Window.
(I know I can make the preview a little larger ... but it will never go larger than the main)
* When I am Mousing thru PreSets ... I want the changes to be in the Main (large).
*** IN FACT, I would love to see that choice in a "Preferance" choice!
That means whenever I Mouse over a PreSet the change immediatly goes to the MAIN window and the current/original goes to the small window as a referance. (this is by far the more elegant way of doing it)
*** PreSet's are becoming More and More important to me, and a time saver.
imho, the more you can work on the preset pane side, VS the develop pane side ... the more time you could Save (on large shoots)

But, really ... wouldn't it be "cool" (and faster and more intuitive) if you can choose (in Preferances): whenever you mouse over a Preset that the Changes appear in the Main window (and the small pre-veiw window has the original?
to me ... if you have your mouse over in the Pre-Set window, your main focus is "those" changes (at that point) ... and you should be looking at those Preveiws in the Main Larger window ... imho.

Main window doesn't show up...

I have a MacBook Pro 13" (early 2011). When starting iMovie, the main window does not show up. It's just a desktop screen with the iMovie menu bar. I have tried reinstalling using the applications reinstall disk, also tried repairing permissions and deleting preference and plist files. Nothing seems to make any difference.

I have the exact same problem, but i have a white macbook (2009 model, "i think")

Navigation pane will not stay closed and covers main window

Using RoboHelp Version 7.0.3 to produce FlashHelp - ongoing project that I've been working on for quite some time.
Just noticed this:
I launched the Help from the application with an F1. I then closed the navigation pane in the Help output and resized the window to be tall, narrower, so I could view Help and the application window side-by-side. When changing focus between windows the SECOND time I bring focus back to the open Help window, the navigation pane reappears on its own. And it COVERS the left side of the main window, there is no horizontal scroll at the bottom, and you cannot close the navigation pane at this point. Instead, you must exit the Help and relaunch it from the application to return to a usable state, where the nav pane appears on the left and the Help topic appears on the right with appropriate scroll bars, etc.
I showed my developers this and we were able to recreate several times. Their guess is it's a problem in the javascript... Is there a fix for this? Sure looks like bug.

I'm running the latest iTunes on my Windows XP system, and it keeps restarting unless I do a force termination (in windows terminology, I have to end the process in the Task Manager).
This automatic restarting is so annoying that I end up killing the windows process, and it won't start again until i reboot the computer.
Oh, and this has been going on for well over a year, with other versions of iTunes. And I'm not sharing the contents assuming that sharing would try to force iTunes to stay open. So I removed the sharing of my iTunes library to no avail.
Apple can hardly expect to be the best choice for everyone if they don't have solutions to these obvious problems. Obvious because i've seen this complaint appear for the past 5 years, since 2007 and maybe earlier than that.
Don't they know how to end a program cleanly?

How can I make a movable transparent main window (HTML, not FLEX)?

Hi all-
I'm new to AIR and coming up to speed quickly. I got a sample application up and running right away and was able to give it a transparent main window so that the corners are rounded and there is no window title bar.
However, I can't figure out how to make it so the user can drag the application around their desktop when they click on it.
I've seen a few FLEX examples of this but I have to work in HTML.
Does anyone know how to set this up in HTML?

Most user interface events (mouse up, down, etc.) "bubble" up from child elements to their parents. Since you are listening on the body element, your handler is called for every mouse down in the page since the body is the highest parent in the document.
You can either:
Attach the event listener directly to the element used to drag the window.
Check the event target property to check whether the target of the event (the element moused) is a drag control.

HOW can I get my iTunes Libray MAIN WINDOW to show in LIST form (like before). NOW only shows an IMAGE GRID. HATE it. HELP please! THANKS!!

For the last 2 (maybe 3) updates iTunes has been showing my MUSIC LIBARY in a GRID of IMAGES with small caption below each image (usually an empty grey box, but occasionally tje front cover of album). It is a BIG waste of time to look at, go through and find any of my many hundreds of items.
I want / NEED "LIST VIEW" (or whatever it is called) back.
I have looked in SUPPORT / iTunes HELP / Preferences / ALL my menus - for ANY info on getting my LIST VIEW back.
Somebody PLEASE share with me HOW to get a LIST VIEW in the iTunes MAIN WINDOW (NOT the sidebar ...which is in a nice LIST foerm still thank God).
Going out of my mind on this one - and wasting LOTS of time, going through it.
Sure it's ALPHABETICAL (in an arbitrary fashion), but do they REALLY expect me to "REMEMBER" - or already know my choice - of what I am" looking for"?? Come on! I open iTunes, SEARCH through my (where'd it GO?) list and choose something that feels right for the moment. Most people do.
This IMAGE GRID just throws unnecessary obstruction into the experience and takes massive amounts of time to arrive at a selection (especially if it is not one of my first 40 albums (less than 10% of my libary). I want it gone - and a simple LIST VIEW back. ANY help VASTLY appreciated.

How to make text elements flow to next page depending on the table above it in main window (smart forms)

In my main window i have a table that contains line item data.
Just below that i need to display text elemet (some text and terms & conditions).
as below
Based on the items in table, it should flow to next page. But it is not happening. rather the data which do not fit into first page gets deleted.
Please help to solve this. Its urgent.

please drop these texts from your table footer (i hope you have put into footer of your table), just create a template after your table and put your all these data within this template and make sure that your this
template should be called after your tables data get displayed.
Or you can create a text , after your table where you put your data, and it should get displayed when the line items ends for your table.

Safari main window not showing up in my user account when launched

Safari main window is not showing up when launched in my user account.
For some unknown reason, there must be a bug with Space and Safari as when I switch from Space 1 to Space 2 (and vice versa) I can see the Safari main window for less than 1 sec but could not fix it to show up and stay in the foreground in any of the 4 Spaces areas.
I have tried to desactivate Space or change some settings in Space but could not fix the issue.
Last but not least, Safari is working well for all other user accounts on my Mac.
I have updgraded my OS to 10.5.7 and Safari v4 last patch but I have the same issue for 1 month

Try deleting this file. com.apple.safari.plist
/Users/YourName/Libary/Preferences. Drag that file from the Preferences folder to the Trash, empty the Trash and restart your Mac. See if that helps...

IMovie starts but wont show the main window

I have been trying to figure out why iMovie will not start correctly. The system log is not very useful as it doesn't give me the name of the file archive that is incomprehensible:
8/14/09 11:03:53 AM iMovie[1332] * -[NSKeyedUnarchiver initForReadingWithData:]: incomprehensible archive (0x62, 0x70, 0x6c, 0x69, 0x73, 0x74, 0x30, 0x30)
iMovie doesn't terminate, it just fails to show the main window and there is no way from the menu/keyboard to show it. It still quits normally using COMMAND+Q/menu. I've removed iMovie preferences, removed iMovie and reinstalled, and even moved the projects folder. Still nada.
To dispel the common things; I have 4GB of memory and that disk has about 200GB left on the main drive.
Any help?
