Show times in printed week view

Hey everyone!
I am a student at a universty in Belgium, Europe and I always print my weekly schedules with iCal. For I always print my schedule in a 5-days week view, the printed schedule doesn't show any start nor end times. But since my lessons start and end at rather odd times (like 10.25AM or 12.35PM), it's rather hard to deduct these exact times from the printed sheet. So I always print my schedule twice; once in list view for the exact times, and once in week view for a better view on the gaps between my lessons, which is rather unpractical.
Is there any way to show the start and end times in week view when I print it?
Greets and thanks in advance,
Gert Milis.

Never use  "Timezone support";  Settings/MailContactsCalendars/Calendars.
When the settings are correct in the event, and not corresponding in the display:
Do a "reset": hold the Power Button and the Home Button at the same time, keep holding, when you see the white apple logo appear, let go and let the 5s start.

  • Printing week view omits times

When you print the week view of an iCal calendar, it does not print the start and end times of the events -- it only prints the names of the events. Maybe it's just me, but doesn't this make the printed week view nearly useless? I need to know precisely what times these events start and end, not just a rough idea. At the very least, it should show the start time, as it does in the non-printed week view. I can't see any options to change this behavior -- anyone else know how?

    Greetings,
The calendar will always have all 24 hours on it. What you can do is set the number of hours you want in the day, in preferences, which will scale the hours for you, then slide the screen to show the hours that you want, and then quit iCal. Restart it, and it should come up with the same view that you left with. This way it looks like just the hours you selected.

  • How to lose time stamp in weekly view

In iCal 7.0 using OSX, can't get rid of the time in the weekly view. I don't see it in monthly view, but in the weekly which is what I use every day, the time takes up so much room that to see the event info I have to add another line and make the event seem to take up more time than it does. Is it possible to get rid of it? The info I saw on this forum doesn't seem to be valid any more.

    Hi Rajesh,
I do not think you can see the long timestamp from RWB but from SXMB_MONI you can enter the message and double click on PerformanceHeader, there you will see the timestamp of different steps of the message in the integration engine.

  • How do I print weekly view with times?

I'd like to have the time listed by each event when I print a calendar in weekly view. Right now the times are along the left side of the page only. Any ideas?

  • ICal Printing - "Week" View

    Running
    Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5
    2008 MacBook
Trying to print from iCal: File -> Print.
My "Day", "Month", and "List" views all preview and print correctly.
The issue is with my "Week" view. For whatever reason, it doesn't cooperate.
I've included screenshots for more information.
    Please advise.

i know exactly what you're talking about. I've been having the same exact issues you've listed, plus more. my repeating appointments (my semesters worth of classes) shift an hour back or forwards, but only after certain dates. its a whole bunch of weird stuff and it also only happened after Snow Leopard. i also sync via mobile me to my iphone, and the incorrect times push onto my iphone. anyone heard of this or solutions?

  • Time format in week view

    Hi all,
There are 2 machines here in the office, my Powerbook G4 and a PowerMac G4. On the Powerbook, the week view in iCal has 24 hour times, but on the PowerMac it has 12 hour times.
Both machines are using iCal 1.5.5
Any idea how we can change the 12 hour times to 24?

    Margaret,
I believe that your problem stems from user settings that you can set up/change in International Preferences.
    Quit iCal, Open System Preferences...>International>Formats>
Choose Customize...>Dates/Times>Show> and change each entry (Short/Medium/Long/Full) to match your desires/requrements.
Restart iCal and check for your changes.
    Good Luck.

  • Time labels in Week View

I just upgraded to Leopard and have a question about the iCal display in Week View. In prior iCal versions, there was a left-hand column showing the time represented by each horizontal line (e.g., 8 AM, 9 AM, etc.). Now, I only see "Noon"; the other lines have no label. I find it hard to orient, where in the prior versions, it was easy to see where times were and where to place a new scheduling item. I have not been able to find a "Preferences" option to restore this display. Am I missing a setting, or is this feature gone in iCal 3?

  • Can't visualize the time on the weekly view on ical

Can anyone help me out, I can't see the times on the left of the ical panel in the weekly view and I can't seem to change this in preferences. Has anyone had this problem?

I have a similar problem, have endured several calls to apple care, two trips into the genius bar, had 2 computers rebuilt and after all that, the first sync with MobileMe restored the problem. My profile/preferences only recognises the hour 5:00AM and the hour markers on the day view and week view all say Sat AM, Sat PM in every hour. Please help. This is driving me crazy. I'm pretty sure it has to do with Preferences. If I create another account, iCal is fine on that account.

  • Appointments Not Showing Up In Work Week View

    Hello
I have Outlook 2013 with 3 calendars that overlay in my Calendar.
When I am in Month view all the appointments show but when I go into Work Week they all disappear.
    I have attached screenshots.
This worked before but when i re-added my account this no longer seems to work.
    Help would be much appreciated!
    Thanks

    Hi,
It seems that the Work Week view is corrupted. Please try to reset Outlook view with /cleanviews switch to check the result. To do this, press Windows key + R to open the
Run command, type outlook.exe /cleanviews and press
    Enter.
If problem persists, we can try to run a repair of the Outlook data file to check if it helps. See:

Please let me know the result.

  • Is there a way to show all banners in week view without having to scroll?

The new version of iCal does not allow to see all "all day" banners in week view. Does anyone know if there is a way to change this feature back to the previous versions?
    Thanks!

No. You cannot mass delete the emails on the iPad. Why don't you try deleting them on the server on a computer? If it is an IMAP email account, that will also delete the emails from the iPad.

  • How can I stop iCal from printing an appointment time posted in week view but printed in month view?

While I keep my calendar in weekly format, I also want to print a single-page monthly calendar. But repeating the time of day in the monthly format takes up space. Is there a solution?

I wish that I was replying with a solution. Alas, I am not. I am writing to commiserate. This issue is driving me and my husband (to whom all of the useless email notifications are being sent) completely bonkers.

  • Iphone calendar displaying wrong times in day/week view

I work a lot of night shifts and consequently I input a lot of night shifts to my iphone calendar. They usually work. However, in a couple of weekends time I have some nights which I have input as starting on 30th march 20.45 ending 31st march 08.00, but are showing as starting 30th march 8am ending 20.45!30th march in any of the graphic views. In the event the times and dates are correct
I've tried deleting and reinputting, tinkering with the time zone and more but nothing is working and it's driving me spare!

  • How do you show time on the month view of Calendar

My calendar events, before Maverick, showed the time on the month calendar view. Now I can only access time if I click on each individual event or the day. Is there any way to change the calendar view to include the time?

Thanks for replying. You helped me figure out the answer. My calendar needed to be stretched larger for the dates to appear

  • How to show end time in week view?

    Hello
I would like to know how I can get ical, to show the end time of an event? I really want this to show up in the week view.
    Is this possible?
I have been checking around on this forum and many more, but no answer
I really hope some one will help
    Regards

I am looking for the same thing. I actually would appreciate being able to see start and end times in every view. When I'm trying to see how many hours I'm working in a week, the easiest way is to see that, okay, Monday is 9-5, Tuesday is 9-4, Wednesday is 8:30-4:30, and so on. Those numbers are easy to calculate and add.
Plus, in month view, I can't tell what kind of gaps there will be in my days, and my down time is extremely important to me!
