Signature text printing 2 pages

Hai,
In smartform i have 2 pages and have signatute text in both the pages.Now if smartform while printing if it has only 1 page then signature should print in 1st page if smartforms prints 2 pages then signature should display only in 2nd page.First page signature should not display.If tried using SFSY-PAGE and SFSY-FORMPAGES.Can anybody help

For that you have to create the secondary / final window put your signature in that
If you want signature in each page dont put any condition for that than it will trigger in all the pages
If you want the signature at the end of the window than you create the final window and check the condition as SFSY-PAGE = SFSY-FORMPAGES (For secondary window it will not work ) than it will print your signature in the last page only .
Ex :
Header window
Main Window
Signature Window (According to your requirement it will be secondary/Final window)

Adobe printing web pages - prints symbols not text

I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 Version 9.5.0 on a PC running Windows 7 with IE 9 V9.0.8112.16421.
When I print from certain web pages, for example flight documents using the printer icon and printing to the Adobe PDF printer the resulting pdf file has symbols rather than text. For example, "Erhlqj#" rather than "Boeing". The 'fixed' graphics text prints ok and if I cut and paste the symbol text into another document, such as an e-mail, it prints correctly i.e. "Boeing" rather than "Erhlqj# "!
If I use the toolbar Convert button to product the pdf it is correct. I've tried 'Repair Acrobat Installation" but it made no difference.
Anyone any idea where the problem resides? It was working ok until a few months ago.
See example below: top line is how it views in the pdf, second line is how it views on the website.

How to print a standard text of 3 pages in the script output?

Hi all,
I want to print a standard text as an include in the script output.
But the standrad text is of 3 pages conataining continuous (some terms and condtitions) text.
But while executing driver program, I am getting a STOP messgae pop-up saying 'Output is continuous or contains too many pages (>4)'.
How to get the standard text of 3 pages in the output. The standard text is to be printed at the bottom of the output.

To display standard texts you have to create a include in your script below is the syntax for that:
INCLUDE name OBJECT name ID name PARAGRAPH name LANGUAGE   name
Include command is used to include standard text in a form.the text
should be already defined by using transaction SO10.
Here name is the name of text
ID is used to classify text e.g. SDVD (SD related text) , ST (Standard text)
OBJECT is used to specify type of object it an be TEXT , DOKU
LANGUAGE is used to specify language like EN ,if ommited than logon
language is used
PARAGRAPH is used to specify the paragraph like C
e.g. /:INCLUDE mytext OBJECT TEXT ID ST LANGUAGE EN
         Here the standard text created in SO10 with name mytext is
         included in the form in language EN (English)

AcroPDF in VB6 - Find text in PDF and print that page.

Okay, so I'm certain that this question has been asked and answered a hundred times, but for some reason my googling skills are seriously failing me today...
I have a legacy application built in VB6 that generates PDF documents of a particular form letter. Each PDF contains all of the form letters that were printed on that particular day. I actually have it all working rather decently, but something came up a little while ago that set me on a new programming obsession. I want to enable the following functionality from my application:
The user provides a text string that should be unique among all pages of all PDF's (customer ID).
The application then finds the PDF that contains that text string and identifies which page number contains that text string.
Finally, send only that page to the printer.
Currently I can easily create, display and print the PDF from my application. While the creation of the document is done through a third-party reporting system, all display and printing functions are basically handled using AcroPDF.dll. Going through the available properties and methods for an AcroPDF object, I see that I can tell it to print only specified pages, which gives me the last part of my requirements, and I've got the user input part down pat. I'm just totally stumped at finding a solution for "step 2".
Any suggestions, ideas or comments would be greatly appreciated. I'm kinda tired of banging my head against a wall. Thank you for your time.

If you are only using Adobe Reader, then that feature isn't available.
If you have Adobe Acrobat, then you have a few options.

I downloaded OpenOffice and am able to print documents (in particular, the same document I created in MS Word). I guess MS Word is to blame. I believe the issue is concluded, but I'd welcome any comments about the Active Directory, as I might have a problem

Are you sure you have the right printer?
In UNIX/OSX printers are virtual links to devices and even with the same name can be trying to reach a printer via another network address, so it thinks it is another printer.

Page Break symbol in Text print

When I print a report to text it prints a page break symbol. Is there anyway to get rid of that? The report was created in Crystal Reports XI Release 2.

Hi John,
Did you type the text in or did you Copy and Paste? A page break or non-printable character should not be there if you are typing it in on your own.
I've only run into this when copying and pasting.

In Invoice Printing back paga T & C over lapping with first page Item text.

I am using sap script to Print invoice.
I am printing Line item and its Item text one first page and Next page.
secondly I am also printing Terms & condition on every back page.
Problem is.. I am getting 300 Item text line to print in First page and so on..
On first page its printing 10-90 its ok, but its printing 100 only one line one back page
rest i.e. 110 to ..... so on its printing on next page.
In All page its happending, its prining one line of Item text on back page, that it should not be print.
I have tried Protect and endprotect. but its not working, I have tried also using height of page, but prblem remain same.

The idea and solution suggested by u is working fine, many thanx.
But one issue is happening after implementing the solution.
A blank page is printing in the last of print out.
We are having FIRST page wich is having next page BACK page and
in BACK page v r having NEXT page as a next page.
So wen v are printing the invoice , its reach to the end and printing the BACK page just back side if the last page.
After that its again creating NEXT page wich is unwanted and coming blank.
Seems its happening just bcoz of v r having NEXT page as a next page in BACK page.
Now everything is coming fine as v expected, except last blank page.
V now require to control this unwanted page.
Kindly suggest.

I am using Firefox 11 and I am unable to print web pages. I can print PDFs ok. I tried to open the prefs.js file to delete anything that starts with print and I get an error message.

When editing '''prefs.js''' you need to use a simple text editor program. WinXP Notepad messes up the line formatting of prefs.js, so I use Wordpad - but you need to save the edited file in a Text-Only format (Wordpad asks about that when you go to save the edited file). I never used Win7, so I don't know if that version of Notepad messes with the line formatting of prefs.js or not.
Another thing - make sure '''''"Hide extensions for known file types"''''' is de-delected in Windows file / folder options > view -> advanced settings. Otherwise Windows may add a .txt file extension that you won't be able to see, and that will break that file in Firefox. '''prefs.js.txt''' won't be recognized by Firefox, when is expecting to find '''''prefs.js''''' .

Change Maintenance Work Order Detail Report in Print WO page

I would like to ask you for your help. We would like to have different report in Print WO function than Maintenance Work Order Detail Report. I mean SSM responsibility > Search for WOs > click Print WO icon. We applied patch #9871500 (I found it there: Templates associated to datadefinitions other than 'EAMWRREP' are not shown in the Work Order Detail report in EAM [ID 1209703.1]). I did personalizations steps - I defined new data definition (for example TEST) and report with data definition TEST is shown in the option on Print WO page now... But how should I it define to have correct result? What should be defined in Executable, Concurrent Program, Data Definition and Data Template? I have RDF and RTF files for this report. We are using different SQL than it is used in the original report. How could be used our SQL defined in RDF?

Hi,
1) You can choose to select and Print shop paper when you need.No enhancement is required.
2) There is not an option in standard to say Print/Not print Long text . You will have to replace the standard form with a custom form and build the logic to print /Not Print long text based on your rules.

This program also allows you to split one big unprotected pdf file to many smaller pdf files such as extract few chapters from a thick book.

Ah, I see want you mean. This might not be practical for you, but if you select one instance of the highlighted text and add a [space] to the little sticky note, all of the highlighted text on that page will appear in the summary.

SSRS 2008 R2 report does not print the page header for a html content displaying on multiple pages

I need to display the html content from the database. The html content are quite long and can have content of 3-5 pages. Issue I am facing is f the record has html content of 3-5 pages, then it does not print the page header (which is a separate tablix) on

According to your description, I’m not sure the meaning of Page header in your scenario. In Reporting Services, a page header that run along the top of each page, respectively. Headers can contain static text, images, lines, rectangles, borders, background
color, background images, and expressions. But we couldn’t add tablix in the page header.
If you are saying report header, a report header consists of the report items that are placed at the top of the report body on the report design surface. They appear only once as the first content in the report. So it cannot repeat in other pages.
If you are saying tablix header, freezing column headers are different in table and matrix. For more details, please refer to the following thread:

Can't link a style to text on a page; text keeps changing to black instead of blue

I have links to the web pages I'm working on at the bottom. I
am trying to make the text and color consistent on two pages on the
website I am working on. One page is a printer friendly version of
the other. [I have looked and looked under Dreamweaver Help but I
can't figure this out.]
I have somehow created a CSS style called "rental blue
arial" and I've linked it to the first page and applied the style
to text. I can't for the life of me remember how I did that, and
now I'm trying to connect that style sheet to the print version of
that page but I can't. When I go to the CSS style sheet the
properties and links are grayed out. On the printer friendly page I
don't see "rental blue arial" in the list of styles. I always
select the whole table on the regular non-print page and copy it to
the printer friendly page but when I do all the text formatting is
lost and the text appears different colors.
What can I do or can someone fill me in? I know it's basic,
but I can't figure this out. Also, I notice that the person who
created the website has 10-12 styles associated with each page but
they're not CSS styles and I don't know how he created them; I
can't figure out a way to create just a style, not a CSS style. So

No such thing. Those are CSS styles

Again, there is no such thing as a style that is not a CSS
style.
It looks like you have not taken time to understand CSS.
Until you do so you
will have more frustration than satisfaction. The page I've
looked at are a
mess. There are many embedded CSS styles with non-descript
names. That makes
maintaining and updating the site a nightmare. Suggest you
pull all those
embedded styles into a single style sheet, sort out what they
are supposed
to do, use descendant selectors where possible and give each
style a
meaningful name.
BTW there is no style sheet attached to
http://www.chatelrealestate.com/rental_print.htm.
Go back to DW Help and
learn about attaching style sheets.

How to not print a page of a report under a condition

Hi,
I need to build a report with a specific layoutdepending on a user paramater.
Ex:
If parameter value is 1, then display the layout of the first page of the report
If parameter value is p_layout2, then display the layout of the second page of the report
If parameter value is p_layout3, then display the layout of the third page of the report
If parameter value is p_layout4, then display the layout of the fourth page of the report
So I built a report, putting on page 1 the first layout, page 2 the second etc.
I put each layout into a frame, with FormatTrigger as of: IF :paramater IS 'p_layoutx' THEN TRUE ELSE FALSE.
The output prints only the frame needed (the one attached to the value passed by the parameter) BUT prints blank pages for all others (the 3 remaining ones).
So, how would I do to make the report NOT to print these blank pages, having only one page printing, the one that matches the condition?

I found a way to achieve my goal: Instead of creating a frame with formattrigger for each of my layouts and inserting in it all my objects (text fields and graphics), I don't create any frame, put all my objects on the desired pages and put the formattrigger conditions on these objects with vertical elasticity for all of them. When not the condition is not met, then all objects are shrinked. It is weird that the behavior is not the same with a frame (the frame with vertical elasticity should "shrink" itself; or maybe I missed something).
