Significance of Pay Date,Direct Deposit,Pay Advice and Cut-Off

Hello,
Can somebody please tell me how the number of days mentioned against Pay Date,Direct Deposit,Pay Advice and Cut-Off play a role in the payroll processing?
Eg:Direct Deposit of -3 from the end of the month that ie. 28th Jan if it is month of Jan.
Regards,
Gayatri

In the Date Offset region, you can change the zero default to a negative or positive number of days before or after the period end date. For example, for a semi-monthly payroll, the Cut Off date can be 3 days before the period end date (-3), while the Scheduled Run and Check dates can be 5 and 7 days after this date, respectively.
The Check Date, sometimes called Pay Date, is the date of constructive receipt of pay, on which paychecks become negotiable.
The Scheduled Run Date is the date scheduled for the Regular run of this payroll each period.
The Cut Off date, included for your reference, is the final date for entering or changing payroll information before a run.
These offsets are the defaults for the calendar. You can manually make date changes in the calendar, for example when an offset date falls on a weekend or holiday, by choosing the Period Dates button.
Hope this will help!

    Dear All,
I have created a PA report by Report Painter and when I execute the report by KE30,I could able see the report for billing data by selecting the 'F' and when I want to see the direct postings from FI,I have to come back to initial screen ,then select 'B' and similarly select 'D' for overhead costs.

  • Determining Date Range from Pay Date Information

I have a table of employees with different pay dates because they are college interns and they leave at different dates, so their most recent pay date will be different. I have created a query to find the most recent pay date.  The pay periods are bi-weekly.
I have a table called tblPayPeriods with all of the pay dates. I have created a query that pulls the most current pay date for each intern and I want to match that pay date to the pay date of the Pay Periods table and increment back twenty pay periods.
Once I have determined the oldest pay date I want to use that range for a calculation for average hours ultimately.  I can handle the average hours part but I'm having trouble with the pay dates part of this. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks!
Here is the SQL statement to find the most current pay date for each intern:
SELECT tblMeasurementPeriod.EENum, Max(tblMeasurementPeriod.[Pay Date]) AS [MaxOfPay Date]
FROM tblEmployees INNER JOIN tblMeasurementPeriod ON tblEmployees.[EE Num] = tblMeasurementPeriod.EENum
    WHERE (((tblEmployees.[Measurement Period])="initial"))
    GROUP BY tblMeasurementPeriod.EENum;
Here is the SQL statement using the query joined to the pay date table:
    SELECT qryFindLatestPayDateforINITIAL.EENum, qryFindLatestPayDateforINITIAL.[MaxOfPay Date], tblPayDate.[Pay Date]
    FROM qryFindLatestPayDateforINITIAL INNER JOIN tblPayDate ON qryFindLatestPayDateforINITIAL.[MaxOfPay Date] = tblPayDate.[Pay Date];

You have the Intern Last Pay Date (LPD)
You want to match that LPD to the pay date of the Pay Periods table...
** so the first question is - are you able to? what is the obstacle on this?
and increment back twenty pay periods
** is there a fixed math you can rely on, such as subtract 180 days?...will that work to determine the pay date 20 periods previously?  it would be great if the pay periods had a sequential integer in their record - - - that would make it easy....

  • Cut off some data from a set of data

I have a set of data our of from power spectral density measurement.
I want to curve fitting with the data.
But I want to cut off below a certain frequency.  For instance, the PSD
    data
contains {(1,10),(2,3),(3,4),(4,3),...} and I want to fit from 3 Hz
    {(3,4),(4,3)...}.
I tried high pass filter but it does not change.  I tried several ways such
    as
get time stamp and find the index for the element and remove the array
    using
'Array'tools.  It cuts off the data sets that I wanted to remove but it
    does
    not remove the frequency values.  So it works like {(1,4),(2,3)....}
    instead of
{(3,4),(2,3)..}.  Please let me know how I can make this work.
    Thanks.

    Hey Arrow,
I think I understand your question better now. You'll want to use the "delete from array.vi". It can be found by going to all functions>>Array. You'll need to input the array to be edited, which index to begin deleting from and how many elements to delete. From your application it sounds like you'll want to start from element zero and delete the number of elements that corresponds to 0 through 4 Hz.
In addition, you'll need to create an array that represents the frequencies you want to plot (4 1000 Hz or your upper limit). There'll need to be one frequency on your x axis for each element in your PSD array. Then bundle the two arrays together and plot them on an XY plot. You can use the "bundle" vi to accomplish this. You can find examples using clusters from help>>find examples. Then navigate to Fundamentals>>Arrays and Clusters.
    Hope this helps out.

  • Quick pays for employees that have a direct deposit payment method?

Can you perform quick pays for employees that have a direct deposit payment method?

    Dear User,
You can perform the activity, only pre-requisite is the the given employee should have a Direct Deposit Payment Method associated with him.
So, when you perform Quickpay and Quickpay-Prepayment, it will take the Direct Deposit Payment Method.
Otherwise, if your payment method is blank for the employee, the Quickpay-Prepayment will take the default Payment Method defined in your Payroll (Generally this is Cheque or Cash)

  • Payroll: Direct Deposit Advice

I want to know what is the purpose of Direct Deposit Advice Process. Is there any Impact if we do not run this process? Does this process creates any date ? or it is only used to print the Pay Stub for all employees.

What version are you on? What country payroll are you running? One thing I have learned about Oracle Payroll is that there are differences between country payrolls. So I am reluctant to give you an answer that may not turn out to be the right answer for your specific situation.

  • Payment Advice for Direct Deposit

    Hi,
We do  not seem to be able to print the payment advices for our employees who are on direct deposit.
In Pre-DME we are specifying the correct PE51 form name.
We are checking the "Payslip on Pay advance note" in PreDME program.
Then we run the DME program (equivalent of RFFOUS_T).
Here we are checking off all 3 Print controls:
    1. DME,
    2. Payment Advice Notes, &
    3. Payment Summary.
But, we are not able to get the PE51 form printed for Direct deposits when we run the DME program.
    Your suggestions are highly appreciated.
    Paddy

    Hi,
Thanks for thinking of IT 655.
But, we do not have IT 655 stored at all.  So, something else is causing the Direct deposit advices not to print.
    Thanks

  • Can Verizon add the pay date to the e-mail that is sent for billing reminder.

Can Verizon add the pay date to the e-mail that is sent for billing reminder.
Then you would have to sign on to look that up.
      Your current bill
for your account ending in 4609-00001 is now available online in My Verizon
      Total Balance Due:
      $261.11
      Keep in mind that
payments and/or adjustments made to your account after your bill was
generated will not be reflected in the amount shown above.

The email is quite direct. Log on to my verizon at www.verizonwireless.com and on the front page it tells you your due date.
as a rule unless you requested paperless billing, you will get a paper invoice in the mail as well.
it is due before or on your account closing date. My service runs from the 5th. of the month until the 4th. of the next month so the bill must be paid on the 4th. at the latest. (if paying on line)
if you pay by check you have to mail it at least five days in order for it to reach the payment processing center, or you can pay at any verizon wireless corporate store via check, credit card or bank debit card.

My iPhone six with iOS 8.1.1 will not allow me to add credit card data to Apple pay. It does not recognize my credit card in iTunes. I have I have set location to the United States, and restarted. Still nothing. When I enter the passbook app, hit the plus button, select set up Apple pay, select add new credit card,I get no response when trying to add credit card number expiration date etc., nor does the camera feature work. Bottom line is to date, I cannot add any credit card data at all.

I am guessing there is something about your situation that occurred outside the U.S.  Perhaps you purchased your iPhone outside the U.S., or live outside the U.S., ...
At the moment, Apple Pay only works in the U.S.

  • How to update master pay data in HR using ABAP

    Hi,
My requirement is that I need to update the master pay data for all the employees. The pay scale has been revised and so the pay scale needs to be changed. This means that the configuration needs to be done.
Once this config is done, the pay scale master data for all the existing employees also needs to be updated.
Can anyone please tell me where all do I need to go and make the changes? I have got this confrmed that PA0008 (Infotype for Basic Pay) does not have to be changed. So, where else do I need to make changes so that, this change reflects in the existing employees data going forward. The amout of salary needs t be changed.
Does this change requires a change in any infoype data or do we need to change the data of some transaction.
Please help as soon as possible as this is very important.
    Regards,
    Namrata

    Hi Namrata,
It is not advisable to change te pay data using ABAP coding. It should be done from functional side.
To updat the master pay data just go to PA30, enter the employee number and select the infotype 8 (Basic Pay). Once in change mode you can update the data.
    Regards,
    Firoz.
