Simple floating clock does not appear after shut down

Hi,
On my iMac oxs 10.9.4. my simple floating clock does not appear after shut down.
Can anybody tell me how to overcome this?

And now I am at the stage it wont automatically start despite it being ticked in the Log In Items.
As Imp68 has asked, do you mean the "Hide" Checkbox is selected?
If you have checked the box, that says, to start the application, however, hide it so it is not visible when you start.
If you run Applications -> Utilities -> Activity Monitor, can you find Simple Floating Clock as a running app? (Activity Monitor has a Search box to make this easier).
Is Simple Floating Clock on your Menu bar?
Is Simple Floating Clock set to float?

Attempting to delete an builtin App like Clock, Contacts, Notes, Newstand, Game Center, etc. This you cannot do. or
Have a restriction on Deleting Apps in Settings > General > Restrictions.

I have done exactly as you say, but it does not work for me.

I navigated to Summary tab (not Info Tab) and checked "Sync with this ipad over Wi-Fi"
I disconnect the wire,
and my iPad disappears from my iTunes screen.

Contact name does not appear after upgrading to iOS 5

I recently upgraded to iOS 5 and after doing so, contact name does not appear when someone calls; but text messages the name appears. I have saved all my contacts under +9 format.

This indicates that the phone was carrier locked and had been 'hacked' to unlock it. Updating the phone has re-locked it to the original carrier.
ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. Not all do so. Contact the carrier and find out what their policy is.
If it's locked to AT&T, you may as well sell it and buy a new phone. AT&T will not unlock iPhones for any reason.

FaceTime window does not appear after startup

After I startup FaceTime, the window for it does not appear, but the toolbar is available.
The options under 'Edit' and 'Video' are all greyed out, but the options under the 'FaceTime' tab are all available.
However, when I try to access 'Preferences' for FaceTime, a black screen appears. When I press the red button to close the Preferences window, FaceTime will automatically quit.

Edit option does not appear after adding a contact from inbox

i have outlook 2013 32 bit with an exchange account. Normally i can hover over a contact. click on downward arrow at extreme right, this will give me the full details. I will get a add button. on clickin on add button , it shows editable fields
and i can save the contac. after saving instead of add button, i will see the edit button until a move the focuc or contacts get minimized. however for some reason recently the edit option does not appear at all. right after saving opption goes back to add

It may be synchronization issue.
Please first check if this user has been added to contact list. If they have been in contact list then restart outlook to check if this add button still exists.
Sometime we add user to contact lists, even users have added to contacts list, the Add button also appears instead of Edit button.
If this issue persists, please let me know.

If you're sure where your library is run this script iTunesXMLPath. The library folder is the folder that file is in. Your media folder is recorded under Edit > Preferences > Advanced and is usually a subfolder of the library folder.
I recommend you backup your library with the method in this user tip.

If this is a new site and a newly created template, you DON'T need to 'apply' the template.
The best way to create new child pages is to :
FILE>New>Page from Template
There will be a list of any templates you've created, select the correct one and press create. Child page created :-)
Save as newpagename.html (not inside the Template folder though !)
PS; as others have pointed out, the link to the background image is incorrect it's pointing to your harddrive. Is the file within the defined site working folder?

Attachments "paper clip" does not appear after publishing

I am using Adobe Presenter 7.07 with PowerPoint 2007 and 2010, and have attached several links and documents to the Presenter presentation. The attachments are viewable in Presenter Settings.
However, once the presentation is published in PDF, the paper clip does not appear for access to the attachments. The result is the same when expanding the player view.
Please help!!

Site does not appear after Publishing

Since the switch over to the dreadful MobileMe, every time I update and re-publish my site, the content does not appear when visiting the site. Is it me, or is it yet more issues with these appalling MobileMe servers?
If anyone else is encountering the same problem let me know and if you have found a way round this.

I have the same problem. My about me page and picture page is gone when i try visiting my site. I think I screwed it up.

Here's the problem... on the first address, the only ones showing up are the welcome page, blog page, and videos page.

RDXV60KB - tuning menu does not appear after PSU exchange

The previous fault of switching off has been cured by replacing the PSU but since then the tuning menu does not appear.
The other fault is when selecting VIDEO the channels can be seen but on HDD and DVD there is only sound and a blank picture.
This is the same using HDMI and Scart sockets.
The ribbon cables have been eliminated by substitution and are assuming the fault has been caused by the original fault

Not quite sure what kind of advices do you expect from this community but according to the information posted in your original post, there is definitely a hardware related problem and there is only one solution: the faulty parts needs to be replaced . This can be done by service technicians available in your country.

Windows O/S running in the virtual machine has frozen does not want to shut down

Our old Windows-based PC is a virtual machine on our iMac (it is accessed using VMWare Fusion 2). The Windows XP Home Edition O/S froze when booting, and cannot be shut down by sending a Ctrl-Alt-Del or Force Quitting VMWare Fusion. Putting the iMac in Sleep mode or restarting it makes no difference. The virtual machine is still in a suspended state, and there appears to be no way of either getting it to finish booting the Windows O/S or shutting it down. Any ideas as to how to unfreeze it? At this point in time, all I want to do is get back into the Windows side, rescue any data files I need, and stop using the virtual machine.

That said, you can "Force Shut Down" a virtual machine by holding down the Option key, then clicking on the Virtual Machine Menu. "Shut Down" becomes "Force Shut Down".
More than likely what you'll need to do is hold the Option key, then choose "Force Restart" to get Windows to boot again. Then use "Force Shut Down" to power off the VM, if a normal shut down does not work after that. Do NOT close the VM window, or put the Mac to sleep as this will initiate another suspend procedure.

Retake button does not appear after test review in Captivate 6

Hello All,
I can't figure this out and it is really causing problems.
I have a 20 question quiz randomly pulled from questions pools. I am publishing this as Scorm 2004 and delivering via I SPring scorm compliant LMS.
The requirement to pass is 100%.
On the results slide I have a review quiz button, retake quiz button, and a continue button.
If a user does not pass the first time they either retake the quiz or review the quiz first.
If they review the quiz, when they return to the results slide the Retake quiz button is no longer there, and I cannot seem to come up with a way to make it appear, or reset the quiz for a 2nd attempt.
I have Completed settings to 100% on Quiz.
Pass settings to 100% on quiz.
I am showing the retake button.
I have set it to "Unlimited attempts"
Any suggestions? It seems to lie in the link between reaching the results slide from the review path rather from an attempt path?

Hello,
Bad news, because that is the way Quizzes are designed in Captivate. Reviewing will disable any future attempts, is meant only to be used after attempts are exhausted. For that reason personally I will hide the Review button by dragging it under the Retake button for quizzes.

Make sure your Acrobat X is up to date. 10.0 will not do this, 10.1 is supposed to. Compatible web browsers and PDFMaker applications
