Simple question: sending data from as file to a swf
hi,
I'm new to AS3 language, so maybe this is a silly question.
I'm using a Flash 3D visualization tool (Flare3D) to display 3D contents in flash.
the project consist of a blank fla project and a .as file (main.as) that manage the creation and the diplay of 3D contents.
Now I want to display the name of the 3D object that I select in a text box created in the fla.
I wrote:
in main.as
var selectedMesh:String = e.target.name //the 3D object I select
in step1.fla, frame 1
root.infoBox.infoBoxText.text = selectedMesh; //where I want to display the name of the object I've selected
When I publish the swf file, it report two errors:
1180: Call to a possibly undefined method addFrameScript.
1119: Access of possibly undefined property infoBox through a reference with static type flash.display:DisplayObject.
what's the problem with that? maybe I nedd to extend movieClip class in main.as or something else?
thank you
First, you need to post more verbose errors with line numbers - figuring what lines of code from which object throw errors and will help you to pinpoint the source. Then post these offensive lines.
Otherwise it is practically impossible to give you any suggestions (this is unless one has a christal ball)

Sending data from flat file or oracle table view to a IBM MQ
Hi,
We need a help in developing solution.
We have a scenario, where data(multiple records) in source (table/file) needs to populated into a queue(JMS IBM MQ) as a single message. To achieve this we are trying a two step process.
1) We created a temp table to store multiple records from file, this temp table is having one column of *‘clob’* data-type which will store data from file into a single row. We are facing issue while loading data from file to staging area using LKM FILE TO ORACLE (SQLLDR)
When we are executing interface, while creating C$ table it is going error out . Instead of taking clob (target write data type) it is taking varchar with +5000+ size whereas varchar supports only *4000*.
create table SNPM.C$_0SINGLERECORD
C1_C1 VARCHAR2(5000) NULL
NOLOGGING
Error message:
910 : 42000 : java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00910: specified length too long for its datatype
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00910: specified length too long for its datatype
Need help in sending data into destination table.
2) After populating this data into destination(temp table) as a single record we need to send each row as a single message to JMS MQ. currently we are using LKM FILE to SQL to load into Staging area and IKM SQL TO JMS APPEND to put message in JMS MQ. We are succeeding in putting message of length < 4000 as these KMs are converting the data using varchar2, but we have data of large size+(>4K)+.
Pointer/ solution will be of great help.
Please let me know in case you need more description.The error message that is showing while using clob as datatype(which we created as user data type in data types section of respective technology)
java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "4294967295"
at java.lang.NumberFormatException.forInputString(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.Integer.parseInt(Unknown Source)
while using varchar2 in creating C$ table following is the error:
910 : 42000 : java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00910: specified length too long for its datatype
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00910: specified length too long for its datatype

Simple Question Calling methods from Java files through JSP without JVM
Hi.
I've got a simple question (forigve my newbieness)...
If I'm running Tomcat can I exectue a method in a compiled Java file from a JSP page without having the JVM installed on the server?
Any thoughts or additional comments would be appreciated.
Many thanks.No... but that's because you can't run Tomcat without
a JVM installed on the server.
If you are running Tomcat, you are running a JVM for
the JSP pages to run in, in which case, yes, the JSP
pages can call the other Java code... as long as it's
in the classpath.Thanks a lot for the replies.
So just to check, if I sign up with a hosting company that offers Tomcat then the JVM will be installed on the server and I can call other Java code as long as it's in the classpath?
I just want to make sure before I sign up with a hosting company =D
Thanks again! -
File reporter questions - pulling data from db / files for o
I've been trying to find a way to query or pull file and path info for volumes from the file reporter databases without needing to give access to the file reporter app. I have an outside group that I need to provide the file structure to, but don't need to give all of the info to, and need to provide it in the form of a text file. I could script this out, but if file reporter does this also, I don't see the point in duplicating the data out there.
In reviewing the content of the sqlite databases it doesn't appear that the actual file system info. I see a lot of references to what I think may be files in the directory structure that the databases are located in. looking over the logs and debug files in these directories they look like they may contain what I am looking for, but I'm not sure what can be used to open or extract the data from them. Does anyone know what I would use to open or extract the zcf files located in them?
so I've made a few attempts at trying to figure out the format these are in, but know they are not sqlite data... not zip or gzip... but definitely some sort of data file.On 10/8/2012 4:46 PM, rbgnr111 wrote:

rbgnr111,
It sounds like you might be better off exporting a report which suits
your needs as a CSV file (which can be done from within File Reporter)
and stripping out unnecessary 'columns' of metadata after the fact. This
would be a great deal simpler than extracting the data from the database.

EPM add-in for Excel question : How to send data from local member?
Dear experts,
for EPM add-in for excel, how do I send data from local member?
best regards,
Evans.Hello Evans,
Could you please explain what is your requisite? What is the formula on your local member?
You can also apply formulas to formatting sheet. This way you can reference the cells in your formatting sheet formulas and save the values in the report area.

Hi all,
As we can get data from .xls, .xlsx file in a dataset. Now i want to read all the entire data from .xltm file.
I also want to get all sheets name from .xltm file. I am using .Net framework 4.5, Visual studio 2012.
Please help me. I am unable to extract it. It is urgent.Hello Kalpna Bindal,
I just investigate this issue and use the following way but it does work:
private void Button_Click(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
// initialize connection
OleDbConnection con = new OleDbConnection();
con.ConnectionString =
"Provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0;Data Source=D:\\Fruits1.xltm;Extended Properties=\"Excel 12.0 Xml;HDR=YES;\"";
//pass query to Insert values into Excel
OleDbCommand cmd = new OleDbCommand();
cmd.CommandText = "insert into [Sheet1$] values('')";
cmd.Connection = con;
// EXECUTE QUERY
con.Open();
cmd.ExecuteNonQuery();
con.Close();
I then did a research about this issue and find the following case:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/22225017/reading-excel-xltm-files-programmatically
To test whether it is possible I use the following code in WPF:
Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.Application xltmApp = new Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.Application();
xltmApp.Visible = false;
xltmApp.ScreenUpdating = false;
Workbook xltmBook = xltmApp.Workbooks.Open(@"D:\Fruits1.xltm");
Worksheet xlworksheet = xltmBook.Worksheets.get_Item(1);
for (int i = 1; i <= 1; i++)
for(int j=1;j<=1;j++)
string str = (string)(xlworksheet.UsedRange.Cells[i, j] as Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.Range).Value;
MessageBox.Show(str);
The result is that I can read this .xltm file and read the firstline without problem.
I would think you can also use this way to work with your .xltm file and output it to your application.

Steps to send data from BI 7.0 to PI in XML format...
Hello everybody,
Can somebody share any direct link to a document or thread where I can find step by step details as to how to send data from BI 7.0 to PI in XML format?
I extracted data from ODS objects into CSV files through Open Hub Destination before, but need to know how to send same ODS data from BI to PI in XML format...
Thanks in advance.
~S.H.just an idea:
Maybe one way could be creating xml data via simple transformation or standard transformation in sap bw. After maybe there could create an inbound message in xi for getting the data.
I never done it, but I thought this could be a practice?
Hope there will be better comments for that problem, soon! -

I want to send data from AXILite to AXI Stream with a simple example.The Data are from GPIOs and to DMA. But data transmission failed since the protocols are not the same.I've tried to use protocol converter IP in Vivado but it cannot be used for AXIS. Can anyone tell me what to do next to improve the dataway?
Well, I met with troubles writing logics. I create an custom IP with a Master Stream output and make a 8bit input wire pin-out to connect it with switch. I once wanted to change stream_data_out from the generated
stream_data_out <= read_pointer + 32'b1;
to
stream_data_out <= switch_in;
the simulating result is not good.
Then I directly make the connection by
assign switch_in =m_axis_tdata;
in the top file of my ip, and the Synthesis's OK. However, when I connect it to DMA IP & PS and use xdc file to make pin constraints, Synthesis's OK but Implementation's fails for multi-driver net problems in SWs. I've no ideas what to do next. Is my IP's logic too simple? -
Send data from producer to consumer
Hi,
I am trying on a sampe project with weblogic as both producer and consumer. I could send the data from consumer to producer to using Interceptors. Now, my requirement is to send data from producer back to consumer. I can do this using SimpleStateHolder, but I want a generic way like passing information in cookies/HTTP Request Headers from producer...etc and to retrieve them at consumer. This is because in my actual implementation the producer will be websphere.
So, please can anyone tell me how to send data from producer to consumer ???
Thanks,
AnuHello Anu,
I believe WLP 10.2 requires some patches to get the consumer
interceptor to properly access cookies coming from the producer, so
that is probably why you aren't seeing the cookies. After reading your
use-case, I don't think you will need to get these patches to get your
use-case to work, but if you are still interested in the patches, I can
find out the details for you.
The reason the redirect code you posted isn't working is because the
response has already been committed during the getMarkup operations and
it is too late to redirect the page to a different URL, so the redirect
is being ignored.
The good news is that the functionality you want should all be fairly simple to implement.
When the user opens the remote portlet, makes a selection and then
submits it, the first thing that will happen is a WSRP
BlockingInteraction call to the producer, to let the remote portlet
know that a user has interacted with it. This happens before the
GetMarkup operation, during a time when it is still legal to redirect
to a different URL. In fact, the portlet on the producer is allowed to
send a response indicating that the page should be redirected to a
different URL.
So in your remote portlet, you can have it look at the form values that
were submitted during the BlockingInteraction call, and if the user
selected the particular value that should be redirected to another
portlet, the remote portlet can request a redirect. The only problem
here is that your remote portlet doesn't know the URL to the portlet it
wants to redirect to on the consumer side, but you can handle that in
an interceptor on the consumer.
So, rather than implement the IGerMarkupInterceptor, use the IBlockingInteractionInterceptor. For example:
public sampleInterceptor implements IBlockingInteractionInterceptor
// Other methods need to be implemented to do nothing...
public Status.PostInvoke postInvoke(<code>IBlockingInteractionRequestContext requestContext,
IBlockingInteractionResponseContext responseContext)</code>
String redirectUrl = responseContext.getRedirectURL();
if(redirectUrl != null)
// The producer portlet wants to redirect- substitute the right consumer URL
PageURL pageUrl =
PageURL.createPageURL(requestContext.getHttpServletRequest(),
requestContext.getHttpServletResponse),
"voipTrunk_portal_page_11_page_12_page_13");
responseContext.setRedirectURL(pageUrl.toString());
This should be all that you need to do on the consumer side. It will
automatically redirect for you to the URL you set in the interceptor,
since the producer portlet requested a redirect.
On the producer side, you will need to have the portlet send the
redirect request during the BlockingInteraction operation. How you do
this depends on what portlet type you are using and what producer you
are using. For example, in WLP using a JSP portlet, you would need to
use a backing file on the portlet, and have that class implement the
JspBacking class:
http://edocs.beasys.com/wlp/docs102/javadoc/com/bea/netuix/servlets/controls/content/backing/JspBacking.html
Then, in the handlePostbackData method you would look for the special value and redirect if it exists, such as:
public boolean handlePostbackData(HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response)
String paramValue = request.getParameter("paramName");
if((paramValue != null) && (paramValue.equals("specialValue"))
// Need to send a redirect request
PortletBackingContext pbc = PortletBackingContext.getPortletBackingContext(request);
pbc.sendRedirect("http://anyUrlWillWork");
return(true);
return(false);
Since the consumer interceptor is changing the redirect URL, any
redirect URL the producer sends will work- it just needs to look like a
valid, absolute URL to pass some simple checks on the producer.
Backing files are documented here: http://e-docs.bea.com/wlp/docs102/portlets/building.html#wp1077130
As I mentioned before, different portlet types and producers would do
this differently. For example, I don't think WebSphere has backing
files, and in JSR168 portlets a backing file is not needed- you would
do the equivalent code in the JSR168 portlet's processAction() method
(using javax.portlet.ActionResponse.sendRedirect(String URL) to send
the redirect request). JSR168 portlets should work in both WLP and
WebSphere, but I don't know the details of the portlet type you want to
use on the WebSphere producer; if it isn't a JSR168 portlet, WebSphere
must have some way equivalent to the backing file's handlePostbackData
method to participate in a WSRP BlockingInteraction operation and
request a redirect.
No cookies or headers are required though, so I don't think you would
need the patches to WLP 10.2 for the interceptor dealing with cookies.
Hope this helps,
Kevin -
How to send data from internal table to the shared folder in ABAP
Hi experts,
My requirement is to transfer data from a file to shared folder. i just did reading data from a file to a internal table. Now i want to send this internal table data into a shared folder which is "

I do not have any idea on how to send data from internal table to the shared folder path.
can anybody please help me out how to do this?
Thanks & Regards
Sireesha.Where that folder is located, its on presentation server i.e. desktop or application server.
If its on presentation server, use FM GUI_UPLOAD.
If its on application server, then use DATASET functions. Have a look at below link.

Charting data from text file in LabVIEW 5.1 for Windows
I am having some difficulties trying to figure out how to plot a chart with
data from a file. I would like to be able to read data from a text file
into a chart using LabVIEW 5.1 for Windows. I have looked in the help
within the program and online. I have also looked in the user manual and
the book "LabVIEW for Everyone". Could you please give me specific
instructions on how I would construct the program to be able to do this.
Thank you.Hi Ellie,
It depends on how data is stored in that txt file. Usually you load the data into an array either using or , the array if necessary and send it to the graph indicator in required form. If you want a more detailed answer, send me a sample data file ([email protected]). -

Cant get data from text file to print into Jtable
Instead of doing JDBC i am using text file as database. I cant get data from text file to print into JTable when i click find button. Goal is to find a record and print that record only, but for now i am trying to print all the records.
