Simple Update Kicking my behind

Question

I am trying to get an update query to work. I keep getting
errors and I am probably doing something stupid. I just cant see
it.
I keep getting errors that say:
Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression
This error appears to come from me trying to update a field
called DateUpdated. Here is the query code:

Easiest way I found to do dates was to use a
<cfqueryparam>
<cfquery name="UpdateMember"
datasource="itla_Membership">

If the cfsqltype="cf_sql_date" does not work try
cfsqltype="cf_sql_timestamp" instead.
