1. System Preferences > Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
     Press the "Delete All" button.
     Install Adobe Flash Player.

   The next step is important.
   Click Safari in the menubar and select “Quit Safari”.
   If it doesn’t quit, Force Quit it.
   Press command + option + esc keys together at the same time. Wait.
   When Force Quit window appears, select the application if not already.
   Press Force Quit button at the bottom of the window. Wait.
   Application will quit.
    Follow the prompts and install it.
    Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.
2. Allow Plug-ins
    Safari > Preferences > Security
    Internet Plug-ins > "Allow plug-ins"
    Enable it.

Sorry, but the warranty for the phone is only valid in the country where you bought the device, and you can't send it in, Apple does not ship internationally.
Has the phone been officially unlocked? Only the carrier can unlock an iPhone.

You can only set the duration of a slide to less than 5 seconds, if you are using a theme, were the transitions between slides can be disabled or controlled - so you would be restricted to the "Classic" theme or the "Ken Burns" theme. All other themes need at least two seconds for the transitions and three seconds to actually show the photo.
You can set the Ken Burns Theme to a very short time for the transitions and to add the "Antique" photo effect to selected slides, like this:

App is "Ready for Sale" but still not yet available on the App-Store

Our app has been submitted and approved 3 days ago and its status for the latest build is "Ready For Sale" but still there is an older version available for download on the appstore. Could someone from the apple support let us know what is going on as usually it always used to push to the store whenever status got to Ready for Sale.

Chat message scrolling for Mac is still not scroll...

The chat message scrolling on the Mac is still not scrolling to the most recent message. You need to scroll down to the bottom to see the most recent message. Notifications are poppng up on the desktop, but the chat window does scroll to the most recent message.
On a related note, I believe there should be a preference setting to invert the message scrolling with the most recent message at the top of the window.

I'm now on V 7.7 (335) for Mac and there's no change as far as I can see. The lack of scrolling is a particular nuisance and it seems that Skype/Microsoft just are not interested in putting this right.
Seanpadraig's suggestion of recent message priorty seems a good idea to me.
Please Skype don't just ignore this issue.

The problem may be temporary. Try again later to back up. If the problem persists, use Disk Utility to repair your backup disk. Have tried disk utility to repair but still not working.

My time machine backup has failed for the last couple of days. Im getting the message saying," error. this may be temporary, if the problem persists, go to disc utility to repair the problem."
I have done the first aid in the disc utility and still not repaired. Do I erase the disc, as it says????

1. Reboot the TC alone.. Just pull out the power cord.. count to 10 and plug it back in.
If TM still cannot find the disk..
2. Do a full network reboot.. everything off.. restart in correct order.. modem.. wait 2min.. TC wait 2min.. then all the clients..
If TM still cannot find the disk..
3. Factory reset the TC and do a fresh configuration. The TC is known to occasionally throw a wobbly and spontaneously forget its name.. part of old age.. (2years is starting towards old age for a TC).
The Factory Reset Gen1-4.
Unplug your TC. Hold in reset. and power the TC back on.. without releasing reset for about 10sec. When the status light flashes rapidly; release it.
Be Gentle! Feel the switch click on. It has a positive feel.. add no more pressure after that.
TC will reboot after a couple of minutes with default factory settings and will wipe out previous configurations.
No files are deleted on the hard disk.. No reset of the TC deletes files.. to do that you use erase from the airport utility.
If TM still cannot find the disk..
4. Wipe the old backup.. and start afresh.. this sometimes also happens.
You can try a verify of the disk. See A5 here.

Some DVDs for School, Downloaded Media Player for Mac but still...

I am in a bind. I have these Multimedia Symposium CDs. I have been trying the iDvd to see if they will play, but maybe there really is an important difference between CD and DVD. Anyway, the lace that made them told me they re DVDs.
Anyway, in the manual that came with the 12-pack, of course Mac is not listed as a "Minimum System Requirement." They are about 5 years old (I really could not afford the brand-new ones and they are exactly the same except they have not been open yet.
I was able to use StuffIt and get Windows Media Player (the latest mac version) downloaded and right away it wanted to play some DVDs and CDs on a website abut the Grammy's. Both just music and a DVD (music and video) worked great from this site.
I seem to meet all the other requirements except under Processor it says; "IBM or 100% compatible PC. This is a MacBook Pro which means it is not a PC, right? I am not up on a lot with the computer field, especially the picky stuff like this.
A little about the install of the applications. (I know how much you guys love detailed and long Posts so I will keep it to a screeching halt, or I should say I will try.) I followed Stuff'Its Instructions, which basically said just to download it to the desktop, drag and drop it in the Program (I assume the Applications and Programs folder are pretty much the same.) and you are good to go. I did not even look to see where StuffIt went, I just knew it successfully dropped into the Applications folder. After that, I have no idea about how it knows that the Windows Media Player ( (I think it is ) is the latest for Mac.
As usual with mac once I played a song on the Media Player from the desktop, I noticed over 10 icons that were not on the desktop before I started this much needed task. This is another question all together, but why does Mac put nearly everything on the desktop? I tell it to go other places, and it puts the application, folder, file, song, etc. in the place I request but it also puts it on the desktop. Something that is interesting, I opened an icon webmail.csv icon n the desktop and it is from Numbers (I think the application is called. it comes with iWork and I have never used it.) Anyway, I opened it and it was a spreadsheet of all the people I have in an old address book with about 50 columns headings and about 5 for each name filled in. Very interesting.
So, I can get the Windows Media Player to play. (BTW every video/song I try from the web it leaves an icon f that song/video on the desktop with the Media Player as the icon.)
Does anybody have any suggestions how I can get thee to play? They were new when I opened them unless they plastic wrapped the box, but I asked for a used box. Everything in the box looks clean, no scratches on any CD or DVD, but I really need to view these Multimedia CDs
I will end the Post by saying that there are 3 Required Programs listed under Required Programs. I have 2:
1. Internet Explorer version 6 or above
2. Windows Media Player 9 or above (I have the one that says it is the latest for people with a Mac)
3. Adobe Reader version 5.05 or above (I have Adobe Reader 8).

Regarding your more immediate problem, having a better idea of what you're trying to use is required before we can give you meaningful advice.
First of all, what is on the discs you are trying to use? If they are commercial discs, they must have a label of some kind that indicates what are are.
Then, when your insert a disc in your MacBook Pro's optical drive, what happens? Do you see a disc icon appear on your Desktop?

Have downloaded Itunes 11.1.15 for mac but still problems.

We upgraded the software on the mac (imac4,1 - Intel core duo 2 Ghz) to Snow Leopard 10.6.3 and then updated to 10.6.8. I have a new Nano 7th gen and when I plug it in the message says " the ipod nano cannot be used because it requires Itunes version 10.7 or later". however I have downloaded itunes 11.1.15. I have two other earlier nanos and an ipod Classic. All work on itunes on the mac but not this new one. I have spent hours and its driving me nuts. Any suggestions?

The most recent version of iTunes available is 11.1.5.
It's referring to OS X v10.7 Lion. In other words, you would need to upgrade your Mac OS X to v10.7 in order to synce the new Nano.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Your MBP sees the Bluetooth keyboard but won't pair with it probably because the keyboard is pairing with another computer or device nearby. If you had previously paired the same keyboard with another device, go to the other computer or device and either unpair it or have the device "forget" the keyboard. Then you will be able to pair the keyboard with your MBP.

I do not have some apps in my mac but still app store shows them as update available

I have a Mac Book Pro. I installed some apps and then deleted them from my mac. All the apps are no longer visible in the launchpad. But still the mac app store shows them as an update available. Kindly tell my either how to uninstall those apps completely or how to get rid of the problem.

That is correct Steelgrrl you will want to locate your installation media and copy the installation files to a USB drive on a computer which does have an optical drive.
Alternately if you purchased from Adobe directly and choose the download option at the time of purchase then the download will be available under your account. You can find more details at Find a download link on Adobe.com.

Internet and usb disk sharing fine for Mac but doesn't work for XP

I have a new Macbook, and I also bought the Airport Extreme and a 500gig usb drive to share over the network with our Windows XP desktop. Everything works fine in the Mac, but not in the XP machine. It connects just fine to the base station, but there is no internet connection and it does not connect to the drive. The drive shows up in Bonjour but when I enter the password the error it gives me is that I need to have NetBIOS enabled. I made sure NetBIOS was enabled and still doesn't work. Uninstalled and reinstalled all the software... same problem. Could there be an issue with the network card on the windows computer? Any other suggestions?
The XP machine connected just fine to the internet the first day I had the airport extreme set up, but the next morning there was no interent connection. It works just fine connecting to the neighbor's wireless.

Microsoft Office can't run on the iPad, only on the Mac. There should be a 25-digit product key you are asked to enter when you run the installer disc. This code is found on the box it came in. If you are not being prompted to enter this code, try to re-run the installer.

I have tried all those things I even updated the software to the new iOS system and it still did fix my problem.
What happened is that my garage band looks like it will open then it shuts down.
I have lot of important things on my garage band and I'm afraid that if I uninstall it deleting it then reinstalling it all my work on it will be gone and I can't have that happen.

If I waited for the App Store to come up with an update for garage band should I wait till then to update my app so it doesn't get damaged . I don't want to erase it and all my data get erased . I figured if I wait for an update then my garage band will reset itself but won't delete my data. I'm not sure if that will help. Is there anything you or anyone else might know that can help me with this matter ?
