You may be having problems in shutting down Firefox properly for some reason.
What is the exact message you receive ?
You may need to look for and kill any Firefox or plugin container processes that are still running. See [["Firefox is already running but is not responding" error message - How to fix it]]
If the problem continues a screen shot of the message may help

As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'

Try this and see if it works for you.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data/Cache. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

When I launch DW I get the error message that AC_OETags.js can't be opened.

I just tried to open DW CC and I get the message "Unable to open the script file 'Mac:Applications:Adobe Dreamweaver CC:Configuration:Floaters:AC_OETags.js'" (error 2)
I looked in the configuration/floater file and there was no script by that name. I also looked on my laptop and there was no file by that name. I launched DW CC on my laptop with no problem.
I did a search on my Mac Pro and found the file but it was only associated with Flash.
Can anyone help me with this error? Should I trash DW CC preferences?

In trying to resolve this problem I found preference files from previous versions of Dreamweaver (CS5, 6, etc.). Are these necessary for any reason? Can they be safely be deleted? Even if they have no relation to this error (Configuration Floaters:AC_OETags.js)?
This error just "popped up" one day when launching Dreamweaver CC. I thought of reinstalling Dreamweaver but unlike days of old (pre CC) I don't have the app on disk. And CC doesn't have the app to reinstall - or uninstall. I'm at a loss to find how to fix this. The odd thing, it is only on launch where the dialog box shows up. Nothing so far in web authoring has given problems. I read this could be connected possibly to an extension? No new extensions have been added. Have a number of them, mostly for menus.
Back to the page of help topics...I guess. Have to do it later. Have a deadline that has long passed, need to get to printer ASAP!

When I try to install iTunes (10.5.3) on my laptop, I get the same message. It says "The installer encountered errors before iTunes could be configured. Errors occurred during installation. Your system has not been modified." Anyone know how to fix it?

I began this trouble shooting exercise by selecting Download Only through the Apple Update applet. Running the msi manually did not resolve the problem. In fact, it was more frustrating because the download package would disappear after running even though it failed, and I had to download it again. "Cleanup" I suppose. <frown>
I followed advice to remove the Apple Software Update program, reboot and re-run the msi. That did not resolve the failure.
I then followed advice to set permissions for Administrators on registry key HKLM\Software\Micorosoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Com ponents
then reboot and run the update msi again. This also did not resolve the failure.
I downloaded the installer from the Apple download site as though it were a fresh install, and - voila! - it installed correctly and all content and settings were preserved. Hopefully that is all that is needed, not the steps above. Let me know! http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

Every time that I try to use Firefox 4, Firefox 3 pops up on the Dock and tries to start up. I get the error message "A copy of Firefox is already open. I've tried creating a new profile (and deleting my old one) and deleting the .parentlock and the profile.ini file, but nothing works. Help me please!

The D810 requires Camera Raw 8.6 or later - the latest version that is compatible with Photoshop Elements 12 is Camera Raw 8.5 as far as I can see.
You need to either buy a new version of Photoshop Elements or use the free Adobe DNG converter.

What software version? What computer?
Trash preferences. Switch off background rendering. Trash project and event render files. Do not render. Export. Do not do anything on the computer during export. Make sure App Nap is switched off in the Finder.
