I have Roboform Pro, I don't want to down grade to Lite. Roboform is working, but I can't get the full Toolbar to display all that shows up is the Show Toobar icon and nothing happens when I click it. So I can't fill in log on forms. Isn't there a way to get the pro version to work?

I can no longer (since upgrading to the latest firefox) open up multiple tabs of the same page (something I need to be able to do when emailing and referencing multiple emails while writing one email). The only option it gives me is to 'switch to tab'.I'll try to make this clear. I USED to be able to left click on a hyper link and the hyper link would open in a NEW tab. Now for some unknown reason the hyper link by default opens in the same tab (window). I have to right click the hyper link in order for it to open in a NEW tab. (Yes, my 'tools'> 'options'> 'tabs' are set to "open new windows in a new tab." (Please no answers telling me to get rid of the Ask toolbar because I don't have one.) Thank you.

Since I installed the latest version of iTunes I have been unable to sync new downloads to my ipod. Prior to this installation I would get 2 windows when I attached my ipod but now there is only one. The software does not recognise the device (I tried running the doagnostic) but I can see it on my desktop. Anyone know what I can do?

Apps wont close since I installed the latest upgrade
Since I installed the latest update for my phone, I cannot close the apps. As usual, I tap the icon, but it doesn't "wiggle", so I cannot close it. Has anyone else come across this problem.
There's a new way to quit apps that requires less time. Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app.

I have installed the https everywhere add-on a while ago.
Since I've done this I've never been able to click on images each time I was doing a Google search from their first page of results ("search everything"), but I could still find images by going directly to Google Images search.
Since I installed the latest update for https everywhere this morning, I simply cannot search a single image with Google, which is a problem as I'm a professional art historian.
I get the message"Your search - rembrandt - could not be completed with the requested search options. Reset search tools".
But resetting the search tools don't change anything. I'm working on a Mac, if it helps.I had the same problem although it was a previous update rather than this one that caused the problem. Just hadn't got round to doing something about it - was using Bing images instead.
I searched for some answers this morning and seemed like most suggestions were a nuisance to try. Couldn't find 'Preferences button of HTTPS-Everywhere' as suggested above. Decided to check if No Script was blocking it. Sure enough. So problem is solved.
Thought I'd put it out there in case it helps someone else. Appreciate that people are so helpful on here. -
Cant not install the latest Firefox.
Do a clean (re)install and delete the Firefox program folder.
* Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
* Firefox 8.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
* Uninstall your current Firefox version.
* Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data in the profile folder.
* Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

Most of the songs on my iPod Classic no longer show up on iTunes on my laptop. I deleted iTunes & installed the latest version but this did not change anything. For example on 1 playlist I have 66 songs but only 1 shows on the iTunes screen. Thanks you for any help.

I have tried many of the suggested solutions from online communities, like uninstalling and reinstalling, but I still have the same problem - Firefox disappears from my dock, when I click on the 'question mark' in the dock to open it, I'm asked to copy to my Apps folder, which I have to do each time and replace old version. Do you have the current version of list.it (version 0.4.8.9.1)? This page https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/12737/ indicates it is compatible with all Firefox 3.6.* versions.
Tools > Add-ons > Extensions shows what version. If it is old, click "Find Updates" at the bottom of the Extensions window. -
Since I installed the revised firefox the system runs at a crawl
I installed the new firefox. Since then it runs at a crawl pace. If I type a mewssage it takes time for each letter to appear, same with navigating any web site.

Well, that's pretty made my decision final. I'm ditching firefox for good. The only reason I was willing to use it at all, was because of Ad block. I already tried uninstalling, disabling add ons, like I mentioned previously. The whole proceeding with Firefox safe mode thing sounds like way too much trouble than it's worth. Since I already have Safari Browser, that came with my Macbook, and I need Chrome Browser for using Blogger, I'm uninstalling Firefox and I'll just use those two. Chrome Browser annoys me enough of the time that I don't want to use it as my primary browser. Safari is fairly good though, especially if I only use it occasionally, that means if runs very quickly. Thanks for the advice. It's too bad. When I started using Firefox about 4 years ago, I loved it. Now it drives me absolutely crazy. I'll just start gathering all my passwords that are stored in Firefox and then uninstall it.

Since installing mozilla firefox 17.01 on my new desktop it's impossible for me to close down websites, some of them close automatically after 30 minutes, others stay open. The only thing that helps is a rough closure by shutting the desktop down and restart. E-mail programms will open but I can't read them or change to the spamfilter so I can see whether there are some mails in it that should not be. The only thing to get to my e-mail is Internet Explorer and that programm is one I can't stand. So please help me patch this up.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

If you can't log off from websites then it is possible that there is a problem with the cookies.
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

If clearing cookies doesn't work then it is possible that the <i>cookies.sqlite</i> file that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) <b>cookies.sqlite</b> (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookie files like <b>cookies.sqlite-journal</b> in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
