Double tap the Home button, then swop upwards on the App Preview (not the App Icon). Tap the Home button again when done to return to normal screen.

Restore iPhone with iTunes on computer. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer with USB cable. Hold both Home and Power buttons until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, usually about 20 seconds time of holding both buttons. Click the Update or Restore button that iTunes offers.

Maybe the wrong port or the wrong kind of memory card? You didn't say what version/year of Macbook Pro you have. Below is a photo of the newest one.

In Camera Raw? The Workflow options are now responsible for actual image size. See Julianne Kost's blog post. (There's a video that discusses this in detail at the beginning there as well.)

IMac (Oct 2009) keeps shutting down and restarting when not being used.

this morning tried to restart with safe boot and had spinning beach ball for more than 15 minutes. shut down and restarted nin recovery mode. verified and repaired permissions (all seem to be related to Canon Pronter plug-ins- had an error message yesteday asking if I wanted to repair printer software and I said yes). I updated an iphone 3g and it does not want to restore after the backup.

i have an old iphone 3g and there was an update available from my itunes. i updated and it went through the whole process, but when it started to restore and update i get a message saying that device was unable to restore unknown error (1015) i have updated my itunes to the most recent version and i restarted my computer but i still get the same error code. i dont know what else to do. and right know i cant afford to pay for online support. what eles can i do to fix this?? did you try to connect in recovery mode? http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
If this does not work, try to delete the iphone software file located in C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates to make iTunes download a new copy when you connect in recovery mode. Maybe the file stored on your PC is damaged.

Xpeiria 4.3 update powers down and restarts phone constantly

Ever since the 4.3 update my Xperia T constantly shuts down and restarts. I've tried changing the power settings, charging it etc but makes no difference. It also drains the battery and makes the phone feel hot. Any advice? It's driving me mad!

Shut down and restart your computer, and then open iPhoto again. If the problem persists, try rebuilding your photo library. To do this, quit iPhoto, and then reopen it while keeping the Option and Command keys pressed. You can also try restoring your photo library from a backup.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Call AppleCare and tell them you just want to know if your iPhone is unlocked and if not, who is it locked with. If it is locked contact the cell provider and ask them what their unlock process is and complete it if you qualify.
